Salty's Pub Clifton Park Reviews
I really enjoyed the birthday wings – they were fantastic! Mango Habernero is what I would recommend! The steak sandwich was decent, though a bit on the salty side for my taste. I’d definitely come back for the wings and look forward to trying more items on the menu in the future.
Always friendly and efficient service. They work as a team instead of individual servers and share tips but they are so good! Lots of experience and positive attitudes makes all the difference! Yummy🍗 and on your birthday they have a free wing promotion (21+) Rusty Nail also has many good beer choices on tap 🍻 Check it out for yourself and enjoy a night out :)
This place is well known, probably in at least a 100mile radius. They're known mostly for their chicken wings and for good reason. I'm writing this review now as my lips are still burning from the "insane" hot wings. Great pub food, extra parking in the back.
Full time RV’ers, visiting the Lake George area..found this place and it was AMAZING! I got the fish and chips, hubby got the Chicago hotdogs, everything was beautifully presented and the flavors were outstanding!!! The place was packed…now we know why!!! Keep up the great work to all the employees!
I stopped by on an impromptu visit for take out. It was my 1st time there. I'm glad that I was able to do take out because of the March Madness and the noise level. I'm too old, I guess! But I love that they were doing great business and able to accommodate me. The food was very good!
Awesome food. Menu has a great variety. Good selection of beers.
I had a great Birthday dinner of wings, parmesan fries and salad with a girlfriend and 2 of my grandsons. I was entitled to 72 wings but we could only eat 40 of these large, perfectly cooked wings. The place was packed to overflowing excellent service and friendly waitstaff. Only complaint was that it was so noisy, we literally had to shout to be heard, but it IS a popular bar restaurant, so....
We met friends there forba double birthday. We all shared the 100 wings. Loved the wings! Great flavors, my favorites were a tie blue cheese/hotsauce one. And hit garlic parm. Don't walk, but run to get these wings!!! Service was fast and friendly.
Went here for a lunch date! The food was delicious- Buffalo chicken quesadilla and Reuben sandwich. Both were flavorful, and not a bite left! We have gone for the birthday wings in previous visits. Highly recommend
This is not our first or last time here. We usually sit at the bar, but this was the first time sun/side dining room. We had Nadine, who was amazing, attentive, had drinks and wings refilled in no time. And WOW. The sweet heat wing, pretty amazing! Love this place
A friend had a birthday and he and his wife invited my wife and I for lunch. Being 57 the Rusty Nail has a deal 57 free wings to share and eat. What a deal in these crazy cost days. Combined it with salads and drinks and everybody happy 😊 Wings for every year of your birthday !
I came here for a friends birthday get together. One of highlights this place is known for is their bday wings! They will give you free wings equal to the numbers of years you circled the sun. Plus you can buy a birthday drink- first one is paid(13$) and second is free. Pictured!
Becoming my go to local place when I’m in the Clifton Park area. Very loyal, local crowd. Had to wait as it could be a little crowded, but not too long prices are fair Lots of beer options.
This place is absolutely wonderful. The food was beyond amazing. Wait staff was on point and so so sweet. Would definitely recommend and will come back.
Good food and very busy, service was great. Thanks for the birthday wings.
We love the Rusty Nail. I have some of the best wings in the area. If you're not familiar with them if you go on your birthday they'll give you one free wing for every age of your birthday. Ice cold beer, great service. Try their jerk dry rub wings. They're spicy but not crazy hot. This is the great place to hang out with friends casual environment friendly with terrific food.
Great place to grab a quick bite with friends or grab a few drinks and catch up! Wings are amazing!
Best wings in the area. They have a great birthday wings promotion. During the busy hours it can get very loud inside. The place is a bit small with some trouble parking. It is worth the wait for a table. Once you have these wings you will only want wings from here. They have all flats option and extra extra crispy option. They do take out orders as well.
I came from long Island visiting a friend tried a piggy burger with pulled pork on it and nachos everything mouth watering great and friend recommended it great ambience and great service and you get your money's worth. :) will have to eat it again when u come up everything on menu looked excellent.
The Rusty Nail and Tavern has a reputation of complimenting it's birthday customer with free chicken 🐔 wings equal to their birthday (proof of DOB) I visited Rusty for the first time on my birthday based on a recommendation and was greeted with a friendly smile as I entered 🌟 The recommendation forgot to mention that Rusty was not a big place that I am used to. Despite it being crowded, loud and waited about 45 minutes to be seated, I still had a great experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Donna and the other servers were very attentive and always 😊 The bone in and boneless wings were fresh, juicy and delicious 😋 and enjoyed all 61 of them with a generous portion of slamming poutine garlic parmesan fries for my birthday with family and a 32 oz blue hawaiian 🍺 🌟 The Rusty Nail is totally worth the visit and price for your birthday 🎂 🍨 🎁 🎈 enjoyment and I approve this message 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Definitely will go hack!
Always a great experience! Great food, service and atmosphere! Wings are great!
If your into wings and crazy flavors go to rusty nails this is a kid friendly restaurant on your birthday they give you the amount of wings for your amount of age
Very good, excellent service, handicap accessible. Good food!... unfortunately while writing this review and leaving. My party and I went to leave as we're all disabled and the handicap door was locked. Forcing us to walk around and cutting off the emergency exit. This was a disappointing end to the experience. Sorry.
I took my husband here for his birthday because I heard from my coworkers about the free wings on your birthday, equal to your age. That was a good promo. The wings were perfect! The servings are so generous! My daughter had a burger and she said it was the best burger she ever had that she wants us to take her again. It was good experience.
Great wings. Big jumbo sized. Perfectly cooked and flavored. Fast and friendly service. Will definitely go back again.
Chicken wings and sides are very tasty, drinks are good.... company you bring with you are the best. Planing to go back and enjoy what's on their manu.
Great for birthday wings! But overall always good food and highly recommend using the virtual waiting list online
Good food, great service. A little cramped but still good place to get some food. Go on your birthday for the wings!
Very hometown tavern vibe and some of the best wings around. Crispy, flavorful, and always consistent. Plus the birthday special is awesome. Rusty Nail never disappoints.
We went for my husband's 41st birthday but we didnt get to finish all the wings .it was too much. I love it. Planning to go back for my birthday in june.
Just really great bar food with super friendly staff. Probably eaten there a dozen times and always good. Have gotten to-go a couple times and same - really good. Don’t worry if seems busy the kitchen is run like a machine food is out quickly!!! Use parking lot an above restaurant, so much easier to get in and out! The beef dip with Mac salad is kinda my go to meal. Always yummy. Lots of beers to choose from nice tap selection- from easy domestic to fuller crafts served in cold pint glass!! Definitely worth the trip.
We went for the 1st time for dinner last night (Tuesday) and it was packed. There were no tables available and the hostess asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We love sitting at the bar, chatted with a new waitress . Definitely a local hot spot. Food was delicious and hubby loved the beer selection
Pretty good food, but my experience was a typical due to enjoying their birthday promotion. It's about what you would expect from a tavern/sports bar, with a sizable menu and drink selection.
Good beer selection. Hard to find a seat (and get served) on football days so avoid those hours if you're not into that. They left something out of my takeout order and the next time I came in bartender made sure I got that item for free with my new order. Friendly people.
Love this place. It’s our go-to when we’re in town. It’s always busy and always fun. The staff is wonderful. Donna is the best! She is always smiling. Friendly and attentive no matter how busy she is. The food is great. Their wings are absolutely the best with a huge variety of interesting flavors. Sandwiches are also great. We shared the fish and chips this time. It was plenty for the two of us and delicious.
This is my first time at the rusty nail. It was such a quaint intimate place. They have a really great deal for your birthday. You get free wings and a drink on your physical birthday. They also have some really inventive Items on the menu. I really appreciated the wood burning fire stove in the main room to keep it warm. It's a hop in place and it is a little bit crowded, but it was worth the wait. The fries are amazing and I did love the boneless chicken wings definitely going back and would recommend this place.
Thank you Rusty Nail! My 60th Bday was Exceptional! I give both Amy & Aimee a BIG SHOUT OUT! GREAT PEOPLE SKILLS. MY Fav wing is the Dry Cajun wings! Thx Again! Lainé
First off, the parking lot was packed and the place was hopping, but the service is so good that I had to stop and write a review. We got right in, the staff were upbeat and quick, and most of all, they help each other. In my experience, staff that works together to keep things quick and friendly is the difference between a good restaurant and a great restaurant. This place was great. Great beer list, excellent wings and I have to say that my Philly cheesesteak was perfect. Great flavor and above and beyond with the quality of the grilled onions and toasted bun. We took the non-Boston route from Maine to Buffalo, overnighting here, and our hotel staff at the La Quinta (also great) recommended this place. Being big wing fans, we couldn’t help but notice that every table we saw had ordered wings. With reason. The difficult balance between crispy wings (my wife) and juicy wings (me) was on point here. Just perfect. And you have to respect a place that has a fifty wing option on the menu. Given the beautiful drive through NH and VT instead of around Boston and down the Mass Pike avoided all of the 495 stress and terrible traffic and took a sum total of ten minutes longer, I think this is our new go to, at least until the snow falls (decent number of mountains and turns, fair warning). The Rusty Nail will be our dinner choice every time.
I got the Maple Chipotle, Sweet Heat, and 24 Karat. The wings were all nice and crispy. The Sweet heat has a nice sweet taste to that leaves a nice tingle in your mouth. The 24 Karat is a great Carolina BBQ. The Maple Chipotle was their weekly special. The sauce was a bit runny so it didn't stick well to the wing and I wanted it to have stronger but still had a nice taste to it. I spent 60 dollars for 30 wings. Which wouldn't be so bad if I just got 1 flavor
Rusty Nail runs a super tight operation! Not that you need me to tell you that! How they sling so many wings for Birthdays and not, makes them the best in the area, and not only due to the top notch service, but the wings are great, the food is great, the whole experience is awesome! If you happen to show up and there's a wait....it's worth it, and you'll soon know why.
Great place for wings. I went recently on my 28th birthday and was not disappointed. The wings were great and they were free because it was my birthday. We all had a great time and the food and the waitstaff was amazing. This only place I will go to get wings from now on. And I will be going here on my birthday for the rest of my life.
This place isn't far from I87 interstate. The food was top notch, wings cooked perfectly! the soup was really fresh!! The kids split a order of chicken tenders and fries and left with plenty of leftovers. We had a club sandwich big enough for 2 or 3 people! Definitely was not expecting the amount of food. 5 outta 5 service food and atmosphere!
The waitress was attentive and bubbly. The food was pretty good. I didn’t care much for the way. The nachos were layered, but it was Still a very good dish. I ordered the Buffalo salad with blue cheese dressing. I would definitely order this dish again. It was filling and presented well.. As far as the atmosphere, we sat in the back of the restaurant and it was so loud my husband and I chose to take our meal after our appetizer and leave. The group of people we were seated next to must’ve been celebrating a birthday, but you could tell they were very tipsy and so loud my husband and I had to yell over each other to hear each other. I understand people go out to have a good time, but it would be nice if they were mindful of others around them and it would have been nice if they’re waitress would’ve asked them to quiet down so other guests could enjoy there meal as well. I would definitely try again, but I would not sit in that same location.
We went for the Birthday deal and free wings. It’s a really busy busy place. We waited over hour and half to be seated but I was worth it, great food and good environment.
I went here for my 23rd birthday and Amy was amazing. She really put in 130% to make sure the night was handled with care. She was very informative as well. The food was quick to be served and was pretty good! The cost was around $30 per person.
Seems like a local favorite. I found it to be a bit below average. Attitude of service needs adjustment. We were traveling through. Saw that the parking lot was full so we checked the reviews and decided to stop. They claim that the wings are something special, we asked for well done, arrived under cooked and rubbery. Burger was overcooked and dry. We left half of our order on the plate. Just couldn’t finish it. Maybe we caught a bad day.
Food is pretty good in general, the chicken wings are very good. It's kind of beat up, but not too bad. Usually very loud. Service can be a tad slow because it is a very busy place. It's a staple in Clifton Park and great for people that like a loud bar type atmosphere. Its just not my thing.
Had to wait for my takeout order, but they were busy. Food was tasty though.
I went here for the bday wing. Great flavors. The Thia Chill had a little kick to it. The Mango habanero was my favorite. Great customer service staff. Donna was or save, and she was amazing. She gave great recommendations to the menu.
Good neighborhood place with good food and good prices. Great birthday special - 1 wing for each year (on exact birth date only) and bogo 32oz beer. They do automatically add 18% gratuity to check when you get the birthday special. Long list of draft beer options. Usually a wait time of 30-45 minutes for weekend evenings. Overall nice place.
Good food and service but I destroyed my front bumper pulling in. There are very low concrete barriers in an area of the crowded parking lot that are almost impossible to see from a truck. I am In town visiting, so I was unaware of this issue. Please make these barriers more visible or put something there to avoid this. Completely trashed my truck
Food is GREAT! There was quite a long wait (~30 min), but they were absolutely packed so this is understandable. I asked for chipotle mayo and they totally forget. Once our server realized (after I had already finished my fries) she apologized profusely, so all is forgiven 😅. But I didn’t mind either of these things, the only reason I rate 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because inside it is so LOUD. It’s a small building with a lot of people, and the speakers are blasting. We asked for them to lower the volume, but either they didn’t lower it, or they didn’t lower it enough, because the TVs were still very loud. Besides the volume issue, I very much enjoyed my experience here.
We went for my husband's birthday and got the chicken wings. You can order in increments of 10 and each order can be a different flavor. Our favorite of the night was the sweet heat. If you want ranch or blue cheese, it's $2 extra for each little cup. If you don't finish the wings, you can't bring any home. They also add 18% gratuity to the check and then ask to tip additional. We arrived around 530 pm. with a party of 5 and didn't have to wait to be seated. There was a woman with dark hair and glasses who seemed to act like she was running things. However, for being in customer service she was not friendly and had a very rude demeanor. Our server was extremely efficient and personable.
Good local with good burgers and sandwiches and a very lively bar. One disappointment was the wings. The Buffalo sauce was very watery which left the wings (even if cooked well) without a ton of flavor. If you do like their wings, apparently if you are here on your birthday you get free wings for as many years as you are celebrating.
"So much salt. Too much salt." Ordered over the phone ahead of time, although they do offer online ordering through a few different services. Went with an order of a small Caesar salad, the Pretzel Sticks, and a Chicken Quesadilla. Which was pretty pricy, clocking my wallet at $43 total for all three items. Once home and dug into the food trenches, I found the salad was perfect. Just the right amount of dressing, and a perfect size to begin the round. The pretzel sticks however were, really, really, salty. I knocked off the rock salt coating them, but the sticks alone seems to just be glazed in a salty solution. And on top of that, the queso dip, which is salty enough on its on, seemed to have extra salt in it. Totally not worth the $16 they cost. However I was able to end off on something great, the chicken quesadilla which was cheesy, meaty, and so very filling. That said I was disappointed in those sticks, and pickup had me standing around for close to 12 minutes while the waitress I spoke to went to check on my takeout. Which means I knock off a star, though if i could knock off a half I would go down to a 3.5 out of 5 just for that overly pricy cost for what I got.
Drinks will be required, The staff is very nice and kind all 3 stars are to them. The food was not the greatest, My pulled pork sandwich was very soggy, I needed a fork only to eat it. The burgers are a good size but very flavorless and leave a lot left to be desired. The chicken wing flavors are very good they were the best thing we had but they are very small so you will need a lot of them. and last but not least, the mixed drinks were a little weak.
The wings were great. Would have been a five-star review if it weren't for the staff. Myself and two of my party members were disabled. So we parked in the handicap spot and walked into the entrance clearly marked "handicap entrance" located right next to the handicap parking spots. A staff member ran over and shouted, "You're not supposed to use that door, it's the handicap entrance!" I politely explain to her that three people of our party of four were disabled. She went on to chastise us about how it makes the other patrons cold when that door gets open. When we went to leave, this entrance was locked. Extremely dangerous, as this is marked as a fire exit; It was the only exit out of the building from this dining room, and the dining room was packed. If there was a fire or other emergency, this would have been a huge problem.
Great service but the place is always packed. The birthday wing deal is probably why..to be frank the wings are not anything spectacular but there are some cool flavors.
What a joke I just showed up to have lunch and my friend who’s visiting me is literally three minutes away and they wouldn’t serve me or sit me until he showed up. Are you kidding me? I could’ve had a cocktail bar that didn’t even offer that. what a joke this place is give me a break. Don’t seat me until my party shows up offer me the bar at least they didn’t even do that. What a crucial mistake on their part, they could’ve had easily some apps something I could’ve had to wait with my friend. What a crucial mistake fools Rusty nail Customer Service zero stars
Took my wife here for her 50th birthday dinner. To start with, the girl at the door was very sarcastic and rude when I went at the 40 minute mark of waiting to ask if a table would be ready soon, she was also rude and sarcastic to another couple that was waiting behind us,she was talking to us like we where children! food was ok, chicken wings I will say was really good, main dish m ot so much which in all fairness I ordered the fish, I normally dont eat fish. I'd probably give another try
I have been ordering here for the past 10 years, The food is always good, but placing an order for pick up is spotty at best. Normally something small is missing, extra chips or extra condiments not included despite the upcharge for them. Not a big deal. But today was the worst. I order from work and we break our order up into a couple different orders as it reduces errors. 2 orders specifically today. I placed my order before my coworker placed her order. We both order wings, I got piggy tots, she got fries, Her order was complete at that, I had a Buffalo Chicken Salad. Her order was completed when I got there at just before 12:30. My order was not completed till 1PM. I watched people get seated and served while I was standing there. And they had no reason or excuses when I asked. Just a sorry. My coworker got soggy cold food because of the ridiculous wait.
The wait-list is pointless. If you are a party of 2 they'll tell you to wait at the bar expecting you to just order your food there and then seat everyone after you until you hover over them. Not everyone drinks alcohol and wants to sit at a bar... We were eventually seated 40 minutes after our wait-list time (1.5 hours after joining the wait-list), but they gave preferential seating treatment to those well after us on the list. If you are planning to take someone you care about here for their birthday, I would suggest stop being so cheap and take them somewhere that they will not be treated like an inconvenience to the staff - the experience will ruin their day while you get to eat their "free wings".
Chicken wings are good but sometimes lack enough sauce. However their service is bad. We were told we would have to wait in line for 40 minutes, but then 40 minutes later, we were told another 40 minutes since they forgot us.
I've been coming here for several years for the birthday wing special and have always had a great experience. This recent visit for the birthday special was poor to say the least. Two mixed drinks that were ordered tasted way off, couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was, perhaps expired or spoiled mixer. Two orders of wings looked good but were actually awful,I could have ordered more but i couldnt even stomach the thought, the boneless wings were heavily breaded and crusty and hard, most were inedible. The bone in wings were drowned in oil and rubbery.I can't help but wonder if they use the old wings for the birthday special. The prices overall were quite high and I left the whole experience very disappointed, maybe it was just an off day but it was really bad. Service was good which was the only saving grace.
Food was really good. Service was a little snippy when we first got in, and the wait time was not accurate (was on the waitlist for 1+ hours when it said it was going to be 15 mins). The atmosphere was good and the drinks were unique.
I ordered a Reuben sandwich to go. One half litterally had dressing and a very small piece of meat. The other half had two slices of deli corned beef, a minute of saurerkrout, and dressing. Wondered if it would have been any better if I was eating it in the restaurant. $16 for two pieces of deli meat, two slices of bread, a teaspoon of saurerkrout and three tablespoons of dressing.NEVER ORDERING TO GO AGAIN
I had heard a lot about this place for bday wings and the bday drink. Since my normal place closed (made me so sad) told my daughter why not. We arrive and are seated immediately. It's busy but not too bad. One waitress comes over - as I have never been I had questions about the bday wings since the normal menu said one thing but the bday menu was a bit different. The waitress seemed annoyed and impatient. I ended up ordering 30 boneless wings with three different flavors and the bday drink. Also ended up ordering 10 of the bone in wings as well with a different waitress that came over. She also seemed annoyed. We asked for ranch instead of the blue cheese. Bday drink comes - a blue Hawaiian in a 32oz plastic cup. It was really sweet and mostly juice. If you drink that the next one is free. I had finished it just as the wings came out. The wings and the flavors were decent. Cooked well, sauced well except for the garlic Parm. Those were more like grated Parm cheese topped with no garlic. I also ordered the poutine which was actually really very good. Asked again for the side of ranch and received a small ramekin for three people eating 40 wings. Wanted more but didn't ask since every question seemed to be an issue. Second bday drink comes which actually has some alcohol/liquor in it to where I could taste it. My daughter ordered two green tea shots but got charged for Jamison's. Didn't even bother asking them about the charge. Overall my experience being there for the first time and especially on my bday was not extremely pleasant. While the wings were decent, it was nothing like I kept hearing about. Maybe the waitresses we had were having an off night - 🤷♀️🤷♀️. I did get a nice purple cup to take home.
Went for my friend birthday wings today. The one waitress was SO rude. We ordered boneless wings and when we got the wings they were bone-in. We nicely said we ordered boneless and the waitress started arguing with us instead of saying sorry we’ll fix it . When getting the bill.. the waitress SHOVED the bill into my arm moving my arm off the table.. She had no right to touch me whatsoever or be that freaking rude. Probably the worst experience I ever had there.
Place is a joke went and checked in and they sat other people down before us then I hade to wait 25 mins for a sprite then the order was wrong with no blue cheese and I asked they gave us attitude and then the boneless wings got cold they put them in microwave and they was rubber I been coming here for years they also demanded us to pay a tip for horrible service this place is pathetic. I’ve been coming here for years. I will never ever come back.
Went with a party of 7, took an hour to be seated because they don’t do reservations, we left before our drinks were even served because the atmosphere is a sensory nightmare! Everyone in the place was yelling and the large party behind us was causing the decibel volume warning to go off on my phone. I rated the food and service well because we did not get to experience the food and staff apologized profusely for the loud environment and offered to try and move our tables but literally the whole building was full of people yelling at the top of their lungs.
Not worth the price at all and not worth it if it was cheaper either. I ordered a rare burger and got it well done. Super dry! My husbands chicken sandwich was dry too. The worst was I ordered the soup of the day and it's exactly like the canned chicken and noodle! I feel swindled. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
Came in for a birthday with a party of 7. We understand things get busy and hectic. We waited for over an hour before checking in about how much longer the wait might be and the waitress was not very friendly in her tone and response. She said "I have no idea what's going on back there... couldn't tell ya". It was her tone of voice that was what did it for us though. Customer service was very much lacking that night. We ended up leaving and went somewhere else... we have been here before and have had a decent experience, but honestly not sure if we would come back after the way we were treated.
Horribly inaccessible to anyone with mobility challenges. Bathrooms are 100% inaccessible for anyone who uses a wheelchair or walker. Outdoor walkways were shoveled but not clear. The ramp outside is incredibly slippery when wet making it very unsafe for anyone who has difficulty walking or who uses walking aids. Our food was ok. The poutine on the menu is not actual poutine, just gravy fries and melted cheese. Our wings were very good though. Also our wait for a table was over an hour. If you can walk typically this would probably be fine. But I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone who uses any type of mobility aid or who needs space to move. We will not be going back.
Be WARNED. They straight up scam you on the birthday wings. You may think you’re getting a deal but everything else on you check is 400% price hiked to make up the difference. With a forced tip of a huge percent. The waitresses could not be any more mean if they were paid to be. Everyone here is miserable and unhappy and it’s an energy you feel as soon as you walk in.
The waitresses here are extremely rude and have absolutely 0 sense of humor. They seemed pissed off like they hate their life and job. A joke goes right over their head. I wish they could smile and be more friendly to customers. It’s “what do you want” not even a friendly hello. They need a lesson from other restaurants in Clifton park on courtesy. Also if you call for a reservation and come when they say it’s ready your table won’t be ready for another hour or more. Host staff doesn’t do a very good at seating.
Dined here last night for a birthday celebration and had a terrible experience. As a waitress myself I try to give grace when due but last night was atrocious. We have been here before for birthdays so we know how the wing situation works; the waitress told us at least 3 different things all which were counterintuitive with their birthday celebration rule menu, and talked down to us the entire duration of taking our orders. The food expo was amazing, he said it was his first night and what a sweet man he was (the only good part of our night) The food came out and we finished eating. The server never checked on us to see if we needed anything, drinks went without being refilled and after about 45 minutes of being done with our food she came over to check on us. At this point the restaurant had cleared out so there was really no excuse on why we had not been checked on. We asked for to go boxes for our purchased food (not wings) and she was adamant on taking the wings away first. No problem we understand the rules but she never came back to bring us boxes and another server thankfully did. She quickly dropped the check off and we were done, we didn’t even get the chance to leave before she was trying to grab the check off the table. For an automatic 18% gratuity, the very least you can do is expect your servers to provide service worth that. The food came out quickly thanks to the nice expo, but truthfully I have never had such horrible service in my whole life.
Incredibly disappointed about the absolute lack of service and attitude given by the staff. We went this evening at around 4:45pm to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday with a group of 6. Our waitress took a long time to greet us and finally took our beverage order. We then asked to place appetizers and asked if a couple menus could be left behind as we’d also order entrees in a few. She made several backhanded remarks about the appetizers ordered and must have told us 10 times that ranch and blue cheese was extra. After appetizers were dropped we never saw her again. Someone else finally came over and asked if we needed drinks but that was it. I finally asked for a Manager because I actively felt like we were being ignored. Rather than order more food, we opted to pay and go somewhere else. Only then did she finally appear and was more concerned about the check than anything else. Don’t worry, we paid. I did tell the manager I didn’t think she deserved the preset tip so he took that off and I tipped 10% which was more than generous in my opinion. All in all a horrible experience (we’ve been here many times and it was always great) but holy cow not tonight. If you don’t like doing the birthday wings then don’t offer them. Simple as that. But for the waitress’ to ignore your table and give attitude isn’t acceptable
