Its hard to find authentic Italian family cuisine these days. Cheap chain restaurants are becoming far too common. Michael T's has a family friendly atmosphere and affordable prices. Their greens are incredible and their haddock dishes are fresh and fantastic. Everything is good no matter what you choose. Michael T himself will probably stop by your table to make sure everything is great. Enjoy!

We've been getting the family meal deals. The food is always delicious and more than enough for our family of three adults with leftovers. Chicken riggies with greens is our favorite.

We drove from Syracuse for a office party. Great food, Lovely ambience and very friendly staff! A must recommended to an Italian food lover! Their egg parm comes with a suprise twist which one must experience! I am definitely visiting this place again with my friends!

I had the prime rib that money can buy. Cooked perfectly. Mick and the staff are top knotch. We also had their Greens Kennedy which are the best around.

Seriously, the best greens around!!! Not greasy like other places I've had, right amount of cheese and bread crumbs, and nicely toasted on top. Yum!!!

Just came from the farmer's market in Clinton where I ran into Mike. I grabbed a chicken and greens wrap to bring home. This thing was outstanding and I couldn't go without posting about it. Packed with quality ingredients, very filling with lots of flavor, and borderline healthy to boot! I don't often post or review and I will NEVER publicly post a negative review for any business. That can be very damaging to a hard working owner, been there. If you have issues, address management in person - save social media for praise so everyone can see it! Finally, there might not be a happier person to see than Mike - every time I see him, he never lets you down - always smiling. (except for some missed free throws during a basketball game - he's not happy then, they're FREE) Super business, great food, and Mike's service and personality are second to none!

Nice Italian restaurant. Good value. I had the Chicken Parmesan and Utica Greens combo. It was good. A small side of spaghetti would have been nice though. Not a fan of the salt and pepper packets. Staff was nice and attentive. We will be back.

Every time I go here the food is fantastic. The greens are very good. The wait staff is friendly and they do a great job. My favorite dish is the Chicken Ann Marie, but you really cant make a bad choice here.

Recently booked Michael T’s for our wedding day of 150 people. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing. We were extremely happy with how easy they made planning and menu options. The food, service and value well over exceeded our expectations.

Not sure why it took me so long to try Michael T’s, but they put together a great meal with large portions. I had a half order of greens and chicken riggies. I took home the leftovers and they were still amazing the following day. My only criticism, and it’s a small one, is the massive amount of dressing they add to their side salads. Again, not a big deal because I’m not there for the salad.

First time eating at Michael T's tonight after returning to the area after 33 years. The Chicken Francese was excellent and the owners so friendly and accomodating. Really missed the down home hospitality that this establishment possesses. Great food without the BS.

Last night was our first time eating here. I called 10 minutes ahead for a party of 5 and they had our table ready with menus on it and were seated immediately. Service with a smile was prompt and polite from our waitress named Gabby. She offered refills on beverages in a timely fashion. Our 24 year old daughter is vegetarian and was pleased by the diversity of the menu having many vegetarian friendly items. The appetizers of broccoli crown au gratin, risotto bites, veggie greens, and fried meatballs were delicious, and I highly recommend the broccoli and risotto as a must try. Entree temperature, taste, quantity, and quality was excellent. Riggies notably are unique with a “cheesier” sauce consistency than I’ve had anywhere else, but very good and worth getting. We were thanked by the staff on our way out. Bottom line is that we got quality Italian American dining served by very respectful staff in a relaxed environment. Will definitely come again.

Just stopped by there tonight. Very friendly staff and amazing food. The prices may look a bit steep, but the portions are huge! Worth a try, love the vibe in the restaurant as well. Will be returning soon.

Delicious food with wonderful staff. Not sure I've ever been served a dish so large though! The chicken riggies dish, a Utica staple, was enormous, but very yummy! All the food at the table was delicious and well presented.

In town for our Grandson’s hockey tournament and looking for a place for dinner. Boy did we pick the right spot. Excellent service, amazing food and all around great place to be. Family owned and very visible. You can tell the regulars love the place. If in town, eat at Michael T’s!!

I haven't been here in 10 years, and I just so Happened to Pull in today, and it is just phenomenal, Ive had Haddock from Just About every Restaurant, Ive been too, and this is 100% the Best. We Orded the Chicken Ann Marie , Haddock Au Gratin , Risotto Bites and the Bruschetta. And Every is Amazing, the Risotto Bites and the Bruschetta, was Some of the best Appetizers I have Every Had. The Haddock was Just Great, you didn't even Have to Chew, it just Melts in your mouth. And the Chicken was also Great, Very Tender and Flavorful. Atmosphere and Service was also very Good. Price is Normal nothing to Crazy. For the Atmosphere, it is definitely a Sit Down Type of restaurant. All in all, if your Looking for a GREAT Italian Restaurant this is the Place to go.

Michael T’s catered our annual Xmas party at work. This is the second year they have catered the event, I have only worked there 2 years, and the food was excellent! I work overnight shift and they had an omelette bar, breakfast greens, bacon, sausage waffles and fresh fruit. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

Cozy and casual, with a nice bar to go sit and have cocktails at. We had Pork Osso Buco that was out of this world! The meat was so tender and fell right off the bones. Our server was so polite and attentive. The prices are reasonable as well.

We were just driving to Texas Road House, seen this place and turned around. We ate all the food before taking a picture. This dinner you can taste scallops as scallops, haddock as haddock, and shrimp as shrimp. They've done very well, not over cooked or well done. You just need to show up and savor the flavor. Top 10 on my list of places to eat ; )

I went here for the first time yesterday, on Mother's day. The food was very good, the portions are a good size and the prices were reasonable. All of our food was served nice and hot! And the best part of our experience was our waitress, Erica. She was very patient with our party of 10 and very accommodating. She got all our orders correct and always made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to visit again, bringing my in-laws, because they have never been to Michael T's before.

We are big fans of this local, family owned eatery, that's been a staple of Seneca Turnpike in New Hartford for years. The atmosphere is casual and the staff is friendly (our bus girl Alex was particularly pleasant!). They offer generous portions of Italian/American cuisine, including local favorites like chicken riggies and greens trunfio. The prices are reasonable and they can accommodate large groups for dinner or a special event . Reservations are recommended.

Food is excellent but has become very pricey

Had chicken Trunfio...it was delicious. My friend had veal parmesan and said it was very good and not acidic at all. Service was fast and friendly.

LOVE LOVE LOVE their veggie only greens!!! I haven't found another place that does them. I could make a meal of that and the bread. I usually get the eggplant parm. which is done in eggplant rounds and not layered like a lasagne. Side salads are so-so...but get the greens!!! Service is usually pretty good. Parking can be a nightmare if the lot is full.

Food is outstanding. However, the ladies room is in dire need of a make over, or re-do! Door hinges with a nail, wallpaper falling off, register and baseboard needs painting badly as well.

Had the Chicken Ann Marie. Wasn't real hot but not so bad as to send it back. Was quite tasty. Personally I would like to try a grill version of the dish. Side of pasta was over cooked and sauce was kinda bland. Good service, nice folks. Would definitely go back.

This is the first time I have been to this establishment. The restaurant is clean and the staff were friendly. Our waiter (Louie) was awesome. Very attentive and he has a fantastic personality! The food was just ok. Prices are pretty expensive compared to other Italian places in the area. Had an overall nice time.

Excellent food and service. We enjoyed the Haddock augrautin and the seafood platter, salad, sides were included. Cocktails were made perfectly, dinner and drinks for two fairly priced less than sixty dollars. Highly recommend.

The greens are good. I had the chicken riggies and they were excellent. The rest was just average. Our friend had the Eggplant and had to send it back as it was cold. It's a bit pricey for the amount you get.

Been here quite a few times over the years. Food has always been solid but not amazing. Rather pricy, for a group of 3 expect to spend $70+. Ambiance is good and service is excellent. Overall worth a visit if you can find parking.

Overall very nice & kid friendly, will be back. Parking lot could use some work soon. Great fish & chicken meals.

We placed a to-go order. 2 of The chicken marsala meals, and it was soupier than anticipated, spilled in the bag. It could just be their recipie that made it like that but it still tasted great regaurdless. Chicken supreme came with more food and had a veggie included besides the 1 side limit. We got all 3 meals with baked potato that came with the Loaded options on the side that we didn't know were included so that was a nice bonus. Each meal comes with bread and it was also very tasty. All in all a fantastic dinner.

Two dinners, one appetizer, and one soda with tip came to $75. The service was excellent. We had the chicken francaise and shrimp scampi along with mozzarella sticks. The marinara sauce was pretty good. Portions were decent, however, I would have like a couple more shrimp in the scampi. I would go back again and try their other dishes with sauce.

Ordered take out to go tonight chicken francais needed more sauce it was pretty dry just chicken and spaghetti. Riggies were ok but had way to much of wever seasoning is in there like dry basil or something..

My partner and I were less than impressed. The server was cold and completely unfriendly. Our appetizer was cold and our entrees were so hot you couldn't even taste the flavor almost as if the food was microwave. We wanted to take home our leftovers which I guess they take in the back to wrap up for you. We got home and discovered they didn't give us all our leftovers. Overall the $77 for two people was definitely not worth the price.

We just went to this restaurant for our first time last week. Our waiter was fantastic, very nice, and attentive. Our food on other hand was not so great. We ordered long hots that were not hot at all more like a sweet pepper, we also ordered the spicy hot greens. The greens were very very bland and had way too many breadcrumbs in them. For our main course my husband ordered the triple plate which came with three different items including chicken parmesan, ravioli, and a pork choice. I ordered the lasagna. Both plates were very large portions but overall the taste was just mediocre.

Michael T's Italian American restaurant is a nice place to go get a bite when in town. Now the place is always packed- which is good, but the food is just okay especially if you're used to excellent Italian food, which in Providence, we are. I wanted to order the veal parm and I asked server if the veal they used was provimi veal(the best) and she had no idea so that meant I was having chicken parm instead. So for 3 meals (1 chicken parm, 1 small kids cheese pizza and 1 vodka chicken riggie) and a water, lemonade and Shirley temple our bill totaled $57.00. Not bad, but if you're from our of town keep Mr. T's in your rear- view mirror. However, our drinks were for free so that's the plus side of things.

Maybe we hit them on an "off" night; every place has one. We found the food un-impressive. In fact, the Chicken Supreme was mushy, and it was clear there was almost to effort put into it - as if it went from freezer to microwave to plate. The waiter was competent, but completely bored by his job and made no effort at being friendly. Getting ready to pay the bill, I made eye contact and gestured to him 2-3 times, but he shrugged it off each time. First time there, last time there. Money much better spent down the road at Cavallos or Carmellas.

First time and last. Im usually not the one to write reviews but i felt that this time was needed. I ordered a shrimp cocktail (10) and a broiled seafood platter (23) full order of greens and a full plus half order of rigatoni. Paid extra for the rigatoni sauce (3) instead of their traditional meat sauce. I ordered the meal to go. Got home and the seafood platter had 3 shrimp 2 scallops and 2 small pieces of fish. The cocktail consisted of 4 small pieces of shrimp. The riggies, although plenty, was really disappointing and disgusting to be quit frank. I heard so much about this place and how good it was. I read reviews and was really looking forward to a good seafood meal. There are good seafood places out here in the area but this isnt the place unfortunately. Wayyyyy too pricey as well. Honest opinion.

I love eggplant but not little frozen then cooked peices. This could not be fresh. Maybe I should have ordered something else but I love eggplant. Bland. Nothing special about it at all.

Came up online being compared to Guarino's (Little Italy district of Cleveland, Ohio) NO COMPARISON. Our waiter, Louie, tried hard but seemed sad. Food for the masses--big portions, no depth of flavor, thin sauce, over-vinegared greens, lackluster wine list, cafeteria atmosphere. Disappointing. Hope this helps! We love good food😉

Food is hit or miss, lacks flavor and depth -add more garlic and salt! Riggies are good but most of their tradition Italian food is below average for the Utica area. Also, parking is an absolute nightmare!

The food did not taste very good at all. Chicken riggies- chicken was dry and by the texture seemed to have been boiled/reheated. Chicken Francaise- the lemon taste was very fake as if it was out of a bottle and not fresh lemons. The taste kind of reminded me how kitchen lemon handsoap smells. Green trunfio-the greens were extremely sweet and wet.. overall, not impressed one bit.

They catered a group of us at their restaurant and tbh we were all disappointed. Food was made without love and felt like we were eating at a elementary cafeteria...Will not return unless I hear it changes😩

Use to love this place, definitely has gone downhill. Ordered food with my husband tonight and it tasted like I bought a frozen dinner from Walmart and microwaved it! Disgusting! Chicken was rubbery and gross. This is the second time we have tried it where it’s been terrible! I think they got lazy and started microwaving everything instead of making fresh!

Simply the worst fish fry I I've ever had. It was paper thin and obviously frozen--terrible. I recently took my aunt to Michael T's and we couldn't believe how bad it was. When you look forward to going out and end up getting bad food, it's just lousy. Probably should have complained, but we couldn't wait to just leave the place.

Was referred by a family member. They have been disowned. From start to finish I was very disappointed. The water had a weird after taste. The salad was chopped so fine you need a spoon to eat it. It also had a piece of tomato with a black slimy spot on it. I ordered the veal parm and my companion ordered fish. The veal was a big piece but only because it had been pounded to death. The breading was not crispy at all and not seasoned. The spaghetti was mushy and the sauce tasted like it came from a can. The only thing good about the dinner was bread and butter.
