Been going here for over 2 years. The cleanliness on a major decline. Last 3 times here it's gotten worse each time. Almost every table had not been wiped down (wasn't rush hour either as 3 patrons total with 2 more at register) most the lids were empty and last 2 times there garbages were overflowing. The attitude of the employees has declined as well. Not sure what's going on but if it doesn't improve we won't be visiting much more. Like at least have a clean table for someone to sit at. -VS- when we started going here....A great atmosphere at the McDonald's in Clute. The employee Bridgette had the perfect attitude for customer service very friendly, outgoing, personable, courteous and just made the whole place a little brighter. Kudos McDonald's for hiring her. The place was clean, tidy, and a comfortable way to start my morning.
The hospitality is Great 👍. And the staff is really nice ☺️ I will most definitely refer someone to this McDonald's.
Great drive. Did the app and my Frappé was exactly like I ordered it! No whipped cream and two expresso shots. The biscuits were so soft here which made our sausage and cheese biscuits perfect. With a little strawberry jam! Yum
This was the best customer service experience I've had at any McDonald's. I was warmly greeted by two different team members upon entry into the restaurant. Although I sat down and placed a to-go order using the mobile app, they found me to bring my order to me. At other McDonald's, they call out your number and you pickup your order at the counter. I observed them search for each customer to deliver their order. I call that going above and beyond, so I must commend them. Although I placed a to-go order, I went ahead and enjoyed my order there. It was a pleasant experience watching some great customer service. Once I finished, I was once again warmly greeted as I departed a d it was much appreciated. Be Blessed.
The staff at this location was very friendly, they were very energetic, informative, and they were willing to help. The food was fresh, and hot. The cleanliness was up to my standards, as well as the bathrooms. The lobby was clean as well as each table. From management down everyone was in uniform and had a sense of urgency. They were working together as a team, with great communication amongst each other. They made sure that every customer was checked on and had everything they needed. I appreciated it. Thank you.
Brenda is the one to go to if you want a bomb ass iced coffee. She genuinely cared about our satisfaction. You go Brenda!
Went here for a quick bite to eat. Used the app for in-store pickup. They had my Sausage Egg McMuffin hot, fresh, & waiting for me after I got out of the bathroom. I was happy that they toasted the muffin. Most McDonald's give you one that hasn't been toasted. Would recommend this McDonald's for anyone trying to get a quick bite or a stop off on a road trip. The only bad thing is their floor is super slippery. You can tell they use the same mop out in the lobby that they use in the grill area.
I don't know if it's me or what, the fountain drinks taste disgusting, been going to the gas station for drinks when I leave there.
McDonald’s we need to talk about the fries. When someone orders a large fry, the expectation is pretty simple: a large portion of those famous golden sticks of happiness. But lately it feels like I’m getting small fries wearing a large-fry costume. Same big box… half the fries. Now don’t get me wrong the fries themselves are still classic McDonald’s. Salty, crispy, nostalgic. But opening that carton and seeing it barely filled? That’s a heartbreak no fry lover deserves. If you’re going to call it a large, fill it like a large. Until then, it’s starting to feel like the fries are going on a diet… and nobody asked them to. McDonald’s please get better. The fries deserve it, and so do we. 🍟

Would give less if possible. Spent 37 minutes in line in the drive thru Wednesday Sept 10th 2025. When we finally got our food it wasn't even hot. Just very very poor service and food and it gets worse as well as more expensive every time we go.
I came to this McDonald’s and ordered a happy meal for my grandbaby. It was far from happy. Nuggets were cold, hard , and dried out, with the fries too. I haven’t been to this place in years. I can see why. I definitely won’t return.
It sucks when you pay for food, and don't even receive it. Myself including one other have been trying to call since getting home (we can't leave again) and them not even answer. Why am I paying for food I'm not even getting.
This has to be the filthiest McDonald's I've been inside. While my kids played in the play area. My wife and I felt like we couldn't sit anywhere due to floors and tables and seats were so dirty and trash everywhere as well. They have like 30 people in the kitchen but no one cleaning lobby. Drink station was dirty as well. No lids and no straws.
HORRIBLE customer service I placed a 13 tote cookie order they said it’d take 2 mins so I waited by the last window nobody came for 7 mins so I called the number and they said nobody started making my order and that it will be another 5 mins. Mind you I ordered ice cream as well and it melted already !
Walked in to place an order at the kiosk, it gave me an error and did not place my order but was instructed to go to the register. So I waited patiently along with two other customers but none of the employees greeted or said anything to us As they walked by and working in the back. So I was frustrated and left. I don’t know if McDonald’s customer service has went so low that they don’t interact with customs anymore and solely rely on machines and kiosk to take their orders. It’s very unprofessional and I feel this is something they need to work on.
Been there multiple times and everytime they manage to mess up something I either get my order wrong or food not cooked properly
24 hours was told they was closed due to updates 3:00am
There were 3 vehicles in front when I ordered, got to the window and after a few minutes got instructions to pull up. After half a dozen vehicles, I got my order. Got home, order was wrong. Called restaurant, no answer. Threw food away!
Unprofessional staff and my kids drink was handed to me with mold or some black foreign material floating in it which I unfortunately didn't see until I got home as I had picked it up at night. No way they didn't see it before handing it to me. Unhappy and my order was wrong even though I used the mobile app.
Sooo slow and half the time unprofessional at the drive through if you go at night time. 80% of our time doing curbside we’ve waited 15-20 minutes or had to go inside to get the food ourselves and it would just be sitting there
Do not order your food from this place! Just take the extra 10 minutes to go to Freeport's location. Or really any other McDonald's in the area. I can set my watch by the fact that when I make an order, I can guarantee it will be majorly wrong in one way or another. Half the time they won't even speak to you at the speaker in the drive through. And the classic "Our ice cream machine is broken" has been confirmed by the one good employee they have (don't know their name but I hope to see them any time I decide to give this place another try) that it's simple laziness that has that machine "broken". It wasn't down for cleaning, it wasn't actually broken, the other employees just didn't want to use the machine so they said it was broken. That farce was promptly proven wrong by this unknown star employee. But all in all, if you want to get only half of what you ordered and paid for or if you want the order to be wrong altogether, this is the place to go. Who knows, maybe that's the excitement in your life you crave...I certainly don't.
Mobile ordered 2 coffees, when arrived waited 30 minutes. Finally got help and found out they were made and ready and just completely melted sitting behind the counter. This location has gone to crap in the past 1 1/2 years and service is constantly 45+ minutes and no one seems to want to help.
I’m updating this delivery cus Y’all done made me mad!!! I ordered via doordash! You can clearly see that they had the correct ticket on the pickup bag! Lo and behold, inside the pickup bag is SOMEONE ELSES ORDER!!!!! Whoever packed this order, dishonor on you! Dishonor on your boss! Dishonor on your whole family and your pets!!’
First a homeless man hops in between my vehicle and the drive through and orders a Big Mac, the lady told him the price he said “I ain’t got it” and walks off then I try to order my food the lady tells me that she ain’t got time for it and she’s going to let the manager take my order because she thought the other guy was with me then I get about half way through my burger in a dark car and I see that the food isn’t cooked
