Ristorante Roma Coazzolo Reviews
Last Sunday, our seniors group and I went to this restaurant for lunch for the second time in six months. The food was delicious, and in my opinion the added value was the staff, who were very knowledgeable and meticulous. Our thanks go to all of you. P.S. I hope to return a third time.
A genuine trattoria, simple and well-maintained. The staff are very friendly, they put you at ease and have no problem explaining the dishes. They're very kind. The dishes are Piedmontese: delicious, authentic, and with traditional portions. You feel at home among regulars, workers, and those who come for the first time...and appreciate them and want to return. Well done, this is the Piedmont I expect!!!
My group of 16 friends and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The set menu features traditional food of high quality and quantity. Everyone was friendly, from the owner to the waiter who served our table, Luciano. Highly recommended.
My husband and I had lunch yesterday. We're giving it 5 stars, but we'd love to give even more, if only we could! It was a fantastic lunch! The welcome and service were exceptional; the owners are delightful people, they made us feel at home, like we were at friends' homes, and even better. The dishes were carefully prepared, the quality was top-notch, and the wine was excellent. We can't say which course we enjoyed the most, because everything was delicious and easy to digest, but we'd definitely mention the plin with lavender butter and the mixed antipasto, both delicious. Our heartfelt compliments; we'll happily return to Castagnole delle Lanze at Locanda Roma!
Top location
We've known this place for years because it's my mother-in-law's hometown. They've managed to revitalize themselves over the years, and the quality is very good. The only flaw is the desserts...the mousses in the glasses are very sweet and don't live up to the rest of the menu. The owners are super courteous, kind, and helpful, and the service is quick and attentive.
At 1:30 PM on a Thursday in late November, while strolling through Castagnole, an enchanting place, we decided to stop by Locanda Roma after seeing the pictures of the delicious dishes in the reviews. A more than deserved 5-star rating. Family-run, kind, competent, excellent service and food quality. Amazing location! Lori welcomed us and accompanied us through the end of the meal with her culinary and other tips (thank you so much, you were so kind 🙏). High quality is the watchword, everything homemade, and the taste absolutely confirmed it. I'll just say I didn't take a photo of the dishes because as soon as they arrived... we already finished them! 😋 The Barbera was excellent, and I say this, even though I don't normally drink wine. Truly excellent value. We'll definitely be back very soon. My advice to everyone: if you're going for lunch, arrive no later than 1-1:30 PM (better before than after). Reservations are recommended for the evening. 😃 Although Lori would do her best to find you a spot. Keep up the good work, and see you soon. Update 09/15/23, you're fantastic! A special thank you for the excellent food and the wonderful people you are. 07/10/2024: The interior has been modernized and is beautiful, Lory's hospitality and warmth, and the delicacies enjoyed with a spectacular view. A guarantee of relaxation, tranquility, and excellent food.
Excellent, I highly recommend it, excellent and plentiful food, top-notch service and kindness, fair price for the quality of the food, I would even dare to say a little below average considering everything, we had a really good time and left with our bellies full, thanks to the whole Roma team.
We had an excellent dinner at this inn in the center of Castagnole. The dishes were rich in flavor and the portions were generous. The service was prompt, and the hosts made us feel welcome. The location is spacious with plenty of tables. My only suggestion is to explain the various courses and prices carefully at the beginning of the meal (since there's no written menu) (just to understand if it's an all-inclusive tasting menu or pay-as-you-eat). The bill (€40 per person) was fair and consistent with the experience. We'll definitely be back!
Piedmontese cuisine of the area. Truly high quality. Abundant plates.
Sublime
Surprise in this lovely village. We had the vitello tonato and ravioli ragù and pasta ragù. Also Grand Dessert. Everything was perfect. Also the service (Lori was her name I think) was excellent. Grazie Lori!!
If you want to eat and drink well you must stop by this restaurant. Fantastic
My favourite restaurant in Italy so far. Great food with soul that tastes like home, optimal prices and the best service I've seen in this country at the top of a beautiful hill with a great panoramic view. Lorenzo and his brother Massimo have done a great job every time we've been at the locanda Roma. Not only the food is great, they also make you feel so welcome that you can't wait to come back right after you leave. We had an event for over 20 people and every single one of them was delighted with the place. Some of them asked us how on earth we found such a good traditional place! The house red wine (Barbera) is very good and pairs very well with my favourite primo of this place: the tajarin al ragù. The agnolotti del plin all'arrosto were delicious as well. If you ever come across the opportunity of trying their polenta with bra sausage and cheese sauce, you can't miss it. The arrosto prepared for our event was perfect and most if not all their desserts are incredibly spot on. Will keep coming back for sure!
In one of the 10 most beautiful villages in Italy, certainly one of the most well-kept, beneath a portico painted in shades reminiscent of grapes, earth, and hills, you enter Roma. In summer or during a warm autumn like this, you can dine overlooking the rolling hills of Roero, a land of wines bordering the land of truffles. You're in a treasure trove of top-quality products. Only the Chianti region rivals these lands between the Langhe and Monferrato. From here, by bike, preferably with pedal assistance, by Vespa, or by car, you can set out to discover castles, wineries, and much more. At Roma, service is based on attentive customer service and courtesy. The Piedmontese appetizers, it goes without saying, are a delicacy, made with the highest quality ingredients, from Fassona beef to cheeses and sweet Carmagnola peppers. The first courses, made with very thin homemade pasta, range from tasty meat plin (seasoned with ragù, lavender, roast gravy, butter, and sage) to tajarin with porcini mushrooms, white ragù, and gnocchi. Superb. As for the second courses: braised cheek, roast beef, fried mushrooms, and mixed fried fish (good, but not exceptional). Desserts, another local delicacy: brick, bônet, chocolate salami, and "round Langhe" hazelnut parfait. Grappa di Moscato d'Asti—yes, we're not far from Asti, another land of ancient and refined excellence. Wine list: Barbera d'Asti, a full-bodied wine. Affordable and not arrogant bill. Moral: go, without paying attention to Google Maps which will take you on splendid but interminable tours.
Very good
