Brasserie Les Pertzes Cogne Reviews
Servizio informale, cordiale genuino.... Per me sempre il TOP
Ottimo ristorante!
A small, very welcoming restaurant with a wooden interior. There aren't many seats, so it's always a good idea to reserve a table. We went here for lunch and it was a great experience. We had a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses (all very good, especially the goat's blue cheese and the lard 🤤), while our friends had a tartare with a bagna cauda sauce, which was amazing. We then had beef ribeye and a Valdostana steak (not breaded). There are also different off-menu options every day. To finish, apple strudel with cinnamon ice cream and a pear bun with mulled wine. Everything was absolutely delicious!!
We enter a stunning setting, a beautiful chalet entirely furnished in wood from floor to ceiling, right down to the seating at the tables... everything is beautiful. The room is divided into smaller areas, with beautifully furnished tables, and the aromas wafting from the kitchen are truly inviting. We are greeted by a wonderful waitress, a Sardinian woman who moved to Cogne, who advises us on what to choose. The menu is varied and all interesting. My husband opts for an off-menu first course featuring speck caramels on fondue, while I opt for beef with roasted vegetables. We finish with dessert, and for the first time I try Cogne cream. What can I say... absolutely amazing! We have a coffee at the counter, and the bill is around €35 per person. Definitely recommended, and I myself will be back. The surrounding landscapes are unique; Cogne is located right at the foot of the Gran Paradiso and is truly a corner of paradise.
I visited this little place in late August, and I have to say it was delicious! I had polenta concia with butter and fontina cheese: a typical Aosta Valley dish only for those with strong stomachs and true connoisseurs! They bring bread and breadsticks so you can dip it in and enjoy. You absolutely must try the "Crema di Cogne," a sort of chocolate pudding, creamier than usual, served with homemade biscuits. What can I say? Attentive and friendly service, excellent value for money... I'll be back!
We went twice in six days, and a 10 for the quality and preparation of the products. We enjoyed the tagliolini with tomato sauce, the gnocchi with Carme di Reno, and their selection of Piedmontese cheeses, a delight for the most discerning palate. Their homemade desserts were also a delight, among which we highlight their Sacher torte. Excellent local wine cellar, and a very special mention to the friendly and professional staff, always attentive to our well-being. We will definitely return!
Such a lovely stop by ♥️ and incredible generosity of the owners for plates of salumi & formagi 🌿
Excellent food and very good service
A welcoming and traditional restaurant. Friendly and professional staff. We ordered the borage ravioli and the duck ragù gnocchi with chestnuts. Fast service. Delicious and generous portions. Two glasses of red wine and a delicate and flavorful Cogne cream. The price was reasonable, considering we spent €56 for two starters, two glasses of red wine, and a dessert.
Truly excellent, high-quality food, with plentiful local dishes. The service was truly professional; with a celiac present, the menu was explained to us in detail, showing politeness and humility. Top marks for service! The atmosphere was very comfortable and pleasant; we ate outside and it was perfect. We will definitely be back.
Very good restaurant. Next to the menucard they have good variable daily dishes. The two hard working and English speaking female servants are very efficient. The dishes are fantastic, especially the deer and wild boar. Polenta is often the carbohydrate component included. They have a huge variety of wines on the list. The atmosphere is very nice. Reservation is mandatory and the kitchen is open from 7.15 till 9 pm. Some days they are closed.
Authentic atmosphere and great food!! Warm and welcoming service
Great cheese
Very nice place, delicious dinner. Our waiter Francesca was so welcoming, so helpful to choose plates. Really excellent food, homemade, high-quality. We advise it to everyone!!!

Locale ben curato e carattercon travi a vista. Cibo ben curato e particolare.
A pleasant experience; the dishes were satisfying in both quality and quantity. We ate outside in the shade, which was suitably welcoming. Service was reasonably quick, although we were surprised that our coffees were brought before dessert. The price (about €50 per person for two courses) was reasonable. Overall, a positive experience, and a recommended place!

Unfortunately we only ate here once but we were really pleased with the food, the wine, the service and the actual place, which was very spacious and comfortable.

We ate quite well, but unfortunately we found the portions a bit small. The dessert wasn't particularly special. The wine was excellent.
The setting is beautiful, and the food, at least for what we ordered, was very good. But the waitress who served us was very rude to us, perhaps because she called us names two or three times, because we didn't have an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, or coffee... well, surprise! Not everyone likes to spoil themselves every night. We would have tried again another night since we're staying across the street, but we wouldn't want to go back! It's a real shame, because the entree was also delicious.
Nouvelle cuisine attempt at traditional alpine dishes which didn't work. Polenta was dry, veal over cooked, very expensive bottled beer. Go to l'Atelier down the road for authenticity.
Restaurant fairly disorganised, service gruellingly slow and a waiter quite impolite and unable to satisfy basic customers needs
