Mason Jar Coldspring Reviews
This is one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Bacon Avocado Burger. I notice that most of my posts are about burgers lol. But when you find a good one. Yum 😋 Come to coldspring Tx and enjoy Some of the lovely food this perfect little small town has to offer 😘
Real good food great atmosphere and staff goes out of their way just wish they would get back to opening on weekends
We had lunch at this establishment, and it is a hidden gem rich in local color. The food was great, and the service was fast. My friend is still raving about her turkey swiss melt. If you are looking for a small-town authentic experience, this is your stop.
Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, tip top service and a down home feel! I dine here anytime I have the chance. I’m always greeted with a smile and served some of the best food I’ve ever had. I highly recommend!
Great place to eat. Family was camping close by and decided to go out to eat. We went here and were very pleased. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were good. Very nice and food was very good. We had catfish, wings, burgers and other food that was all very good. Cool atmosphere inside as well.
Wife and I had business in Coldspring an so we decided to stop and get some (2PM) lunch. Had already eaten at several other places in town so we chose to eat somewhere different and we were not disappointed. While I had the Mason Jar Burger my wife had the House Cheeseburger with Bacon. We where completely satisfied and both of us said these are the Best Burgers in town. After finishing our burgers we each got their dessert in a Mason Jar, wife had the Strawberry Cheesecake and I had the Banana Pudding both of these are delicious.
Second visit and food was just as good. Fair prices for the food. Daily specials change which is nice. The side of cabbage was grilled so if you are used fried cabbage then this might bot be for you, but it was tasty. Took dessert to go and they came in little mason jars, which was cute. Only disappointing thing was I ordered the strawberry cheesecake and it was cheesecake pudding. I was looking forward to cheesecake but it was tasty.
Have the BEST FOOD in East Texas. Eating here is a must if you are in the Coldspring Area. Had two appetizers Fried Mushrooms an Fried Pickles both were amazing. During season CRAWFISH is available on Saturday & Sunday. It also is great. The Bar stocks many favorite beers. All prices are reasonable on any budget. If you like Great Food come to this bar-resturaunt in the middle of nowhere. You won't regret.
I had a good experience and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Really quaint country corner decor. I ordered an Avocado Bacon cheese Burger and skipped the American cheese for cheddar. It came with a hot side of fries and I was loving it right after a long hike on the Lone Star Hiking Trail. I noticed they had frozen margaritas, so I’ll be back next time. Loved it. There’s just one thing I disagreed with. The menu stated that “Many Have Eaten Here Few Have Died,” and I wager everyone who eats there will surely die. Thats 1 appointment you won’t be late to.
The staff seem kind enough, and the food was OK. However I won't be returning. I understand the look and feel they are going for with a small town, at home type feel. But, there's a line of too much they crossed for my taste. It seems to be working for them though, because it was WAY over crowded. I was super uncomfortable, and disliked the whole experience. Props to them for keeping up with all the tables. I didn't see anyone that needed anything that had to wait long.
