Jonica Collegno Reviews
First time at this small but cozy place. The farinata is AMAZING and the paposcia is AMAZING. Their homemade desserts are DELICIOUS. We'll definitely be back. We'll definitely be back.
We've been frequenting this place for a while. They use quality products, and the care and passion they put into it ensures that the resulting dishes are truly unique. In my opinion, the farinata is the best I've ever eaten, unsurpassed! The pizza is light and easy to digest, as is the paposcia. The desserts, handcrafted and prepared with care, are equally delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a family-run business run by women! Highly recommended!
Excellent pizzas. I liked the dough, but the toppings could use some improvement on the tomato sauce; I did notice a hint of acidity. All in all, I'll be back; a second visit is a must to see any improvements. Unfortunately, after my second visit on November 15, 2025, with a reservation for seven people at 7:30 PM, and after entering the restaurant promptly, quickly perusing the menu, and ordering, I never would have thought I'd have to wait an hour for the six pizzas I'd ordered. The oven continued to churn out takeout pizzas at full speed. That's not good; I was just about to pay for the drinks, those three portions of farinata, and leave; I always do this when I see that the service doesn't match the proper way diners are treated.
Excellent pizza! My girlfriend's pizza, with sun-dried tomatoes and stracciatella, was a little cold (perhaps due to the different ingredients added after cooking) but still very good. Mine, with eggplant, sausage, and scamorza, was absolutely perfect! Highly recommended. Relaxed atmosphere. I'll be back to try the other options!
Back after the holidays, this time there were four of us (+ daughter and boyfriend). We ordered the farinata, of course (which was amazing), tried the "paposcia alla salsiccia" (equally amazing), and shared three other pizzas. We finished with a variety of desserts (a real treat). The kindness of the owners, Silvana on pizza (in the open wood-fired oven) and Maria on table service, made us feel right at home. This place has won our hearts. I'll be back again to share it with other friends.
I can say I've witnessed the evolution of this pizzeria: from the father to his two sisters, Silvana and Maria. The pizza was already excellent, but over the years it's become even more extraordinary, thanks to the use of ancient flours and top-quality ingredients. The last time I visited, I ordered a surprise pizza and a cannoli. I received a "Mediterranean" pizza, and I swear, along with the cannoli, filled to order, they transported me to Sicily! Two things haven't changed over the years: their pizza is one of the few that doesn't become inedible when you take it home, and the other is the owners' love for their work. Thank you ❤️.
We've returned to this pizzeria several times, and each time the food is consistently excellent, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I highly recommend trying the desserts, too; they're truly delicious. The service is always impeccable. My only suggestion is that the ambiance could be updated to further enhance the excellent dining experience.
It's been a while since I've been back to La Jonica, but luckily my friends took care of it, and here we are writing a lovely review. Five stars isn't enough, but not just for the delicious pizza, the dessert, or the simple quality of the main ingredients, or the always impeccable cleanliness and order... But here we also have to consider the human side! Two women who, in addition to being extremely talented, kind, and attentive to their customers, are wonderful in every way! You can recognize beautiful people by their eyes and smiles, and they are just like that! Best wishes for everything, and see you at your next pizza party!
We were there last night, after Ikea, we went straight to them! We'd already been there a few years ago, but unfortunately we're far away, otherwise we'd go every week! Top product, high-quality ingredients! The ladies are wonderful, with their sincere smiles, they welcome you! There's also a guy, who's really nice too, they certainly stand out from the many places where they never smile! I'm complimenting them again because the pizza is delicious. Next time I'll try the paposcia I saw at another table! Big compliments! I highly recommend it!!!! 🌺 P.S. I didn't have time to take a photo of the pizza... but I had to take these two photos!
Expert pizza dough with top-notch ingredients, pleasantly surprised by the paposcia. The one we had with homemade sausage, caciocavallo cheese, and fresh tomato was really good. I would probably use a more flavorful caciocavallo cheese to enhance it, but it's fine as is! Kind and attentive people.
Pizza super
We visited this pizzeria during the "Ancient Sicilian Grains" evening. The menu offered several dishes showcasing different doughs, both in terms of flour and preparation. Each dough was enhanced by a simple and authentic topping. Silvana and her sisters were the icing on the cake with their hospitality and eagerness to showcase the quality of their products... which was evident in the taste!!! Highly recommended!!
Whether you choose pizza, a paposcia, a farinata, or something else entirely, you can't go wrong. The quality of the flours, the toppings made with the finest ingredients, the long leavening process and resulting digestibility, and above all the care and passion of the owners, as well as their kindness, make Pizzeria Jonica a safe place to eat well—in fact, very well. The homemade desserts are also a must-try, especially the tiramisu and the Sicilian cannoli filled with ricotta: a delight! A place you should try at least once...and never leave!
A must-try. We're new to Collegno, but I immediately heard so much about this pizzeria that I decided to try it one evening with my family. The owners have included dishes on the menu that are appreciated for their exceptional quality and dedication. The farinata, my particular passion, is so good you even ask for seconds: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pizzas are unique, but with a highly digestible dough. The selection of flours—spelt, charcoal, and grains—is excellent. Next time, we'll be back to try the paposcia, which I hadn't heard of. I don't even mention the desserts, each one better than the last. We'll definitely be back.

Quiet atmosphere, welcoming staff. The pizza menu offers a good selection and various types of dough. The farinata is excellent. A quality beer selection is available. Next time I'll definitely try the typical Ionian Paposcia. Recommended.
Lovely place with attentive and prompt service. You can request pizza with alternative flours. I had a pizza with spelt flour, which was very good and easy to digest. A special mention for the desserts, truly excellent!!! My Sicilian cannoli tasted like it had arrived straight from Sicily!!! 😋 Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it!!!
We've known this pizzeria for a while... But every time it's a treat we bring home... courtesy, kindness, and superlative products just the way we like them, a pizza with all the trimmings!!! 🥰❤️..and the ancient grains are truly the best! Anyone who understands what it means to use stone-ground flours at 0 km and above all from our territory is definitely a step ahead!!!... Keep it up... Lara and Lorenzo 🫂
I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews, but the rudeness of the staff forced me this time. After waiting 40 minutes for a table for two farinata and two pizzas, I went to politely ask for an explanation, only to be told, annoyed and with a huff, "But you didn't order an espresso." I think there's no need to add anything else. I'd like to give a review of the food, but I couldn't.
