The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every dish tasted homemade with so much care, from the appetizers to the desserts. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich and delicious, and the portions were generous without compromising quality. We ordered: Shrimp Diavolo (perfect spice), Tortellini Alla Panna (incredible), and Chicken Parmigiana. It’s rare to find a place that combines excellent food, genuine hospitality, and a cozy ambiance all in one. Luigi's Italian Cafe truly exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Italian cuisine!

Colton was our waiter and he was perfect, always refilling drinks sold us on desert even if we were almost full, just amazing! And the food was perfect, I can’t say anything better! Way exceeded any expectation I had, even the woman that came by to pick up our plates we had already used did a wonderful job, we never had a plate sit on the table that was empty. Just a great and remarkable place, with the best staff possible! We ate there 5PM on July 18,2025

Luigi's is BY FAR the best pizza in Hunt County! We drive about 30 minutes to pick up Luigi's rather than going to a nationwide chain because we just love their pizza. The guy who runs the Commerce store totally recognizes us and gives great service. We also visit Quinlan sometimes. Theirs is equally tasty. The hand tossed crust is always perfect - just a slight crunch on the outside, but nice and soft on the inside. The sauce and cheese portions are always spot on and seasoned perfectly. We always get a pepperoni pizza, which has fresh, tasty pepperoni on it. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We LOVE Luigi's!!

I had the apple martini and the bay breeze cocktail. My husband had a mimosa. All 3 drinks were very good. For dinner I had the works spaghetti and for our appetizer we had the mozzarella sticks, and my husband had the chicken Marsala. We enjoyed watching the game and eating here.

Amazing experience! The meal was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. My Stromboli was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Enjoyed a quiet dinner with my lovely wife—it couldn’t have been more perfect. Did I mention the smokin’ hot rolls!!! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time!!

While visiting family we went to Luigi's with a larger group of the extended family. The local part of the family seems to be regulars at Luigi's and we all very much enjoyed the food. The waiter was professional, fast and friendly. Food came out pretty promptly and hot. The ambiance inside the restaurant was warm and welcoming.

Had a chance to pop into this lovely establishment today. It's a large restaurant with plenty of spacing between tables. Clean, with delicious smells coming from the kitchen. My wife ordered the Baked Ziti, and I had the small meat lovers pizza on thin crust. Food was delivered quickly, and hot! I tried my wife's ziti and it was delicious, with a great tasting sauce. My meat lovers pizza was allot larger than what I expected, but toppings were delicious and loved the crispy thin crust.

Nice place to eat Italian food. I have visited here twice with my husband and again with my daughter. I believe both times were on early Saturday afternoon and it was quite with a few customers. First time I came for the lasagna but didn't want to go Olive Garden. We were seated quickly and ordered beverages. Garlic knotted bread was brought out. Fresh and delicious. With my daughter we ordered garlic and olive oil dip. OMG! It was filled with fresh garlic, parmesan, and Italian seasonings along with fresh basil leaves. I think we filled up on that😍 Until they brought out our salads. I love the house dressing for sure! My first visit I ordered lasagna(lunch portion) and second visit we both ordered Chicken Parmigiana. Sauce was hearty, chicken tender and noodles were cooked perfectly! Generous sized portions that we had to take home. Daughter ordered a delicious buzzed filled Peach Bellini for happy hour. Service was attentive on the first visit, also manager stopped by table. The 2nd visit waitress was okay but not so attentive on refills but still handle her duties. Definitely visiting again and certainly recommend as an affordable, generous portions Italian food and pizza.

The atmosphere is relaxing. I give them that but it was awkward the moment I walked in. So me and my lovely girlfriend walking to the restaurant we looked around and expecting to be seated. There was a waitress at the bar and we asked her do we sit anywhere and that’s when we met I believe the owner who chimed in and said no she will seat you little bit weird but all right. The waitress was wonderful nothing bad about her. We sit down and they put bread on the table. It looks good, but it isn’t just dry it’s catastrophically dry, the kind of dryness that inspires theatrical despair at the dinner table. And then you got our main plates, my girlfriend with the chicken marsala and meat with the shrimp fettuccine, her chicken was robbery and the sauce was like soup wasn’t even real sauce. I’m a fat Italian guy, I’m from Boston. I know my food and how it’s supposed to be cooked it was not fresh now and my girlfriend complained about it being a robbery and tasteless. The manager kind of got disgruntled, started saying things like “ all of our food is made fresh with fresh ingredients” like OK pal we can tell they’re not fresh. You came out way too quick with our food guy had faster service than McDonald’s. Olive Garden is a good baseline that these people are under that they’re like the Walmart Olive Garden. We ended up just choosing to not eat and leave, but we got charged for everything so they definitely won’t be getting my business again or any of my colleagues, friends or family. One more thing how are you gonna order shrimp fettuccine and only get one shrimp on top of it

Thought food would be a bit better.. Make sure you get fresh warm bread, if not it going to be tough and hard to tear apart. Bread needed a little something for flavor. Just can’t figure it out.. The chicken was crazy thin with burned breading. First I thought it was a soup but the thin spaghetti was under the chicken.. well when you hungry you eat what’s there, but. I won’t be eating here in the future.

Hours posted as open until 11 came in too eat at 10, open sign on in front window. Upon entering the establishment we where told that they are already closed, the kitchen and the dining room but we could get a to go order if we wanted. This was disappointing for a couple of reasons. 1. It shows poor management that you are open until 11 but dining in stops at 10 this is not posted any where or made clear to your customers. 2. I don't like being lied straight into my face. I was told that we couldn't dine in because the kitchen was already closed but then was asked if I wanted a to go order. How oh how could I get a to go order if the kitchen was already closed or perhaps it in fact was not really closed, either way I was lied too my face and discard into the street to search the night for other sustenance. If you post hours that you are open until 11 then don't throw your customers wildly into the night at 10 for no reason, it's poor management and no way to treat what I thought was a valued customer. Alas I guess I was not as valuable as once thought. Good day and good night for you shall never lay your eyes upon my smiling face once more.

The atmosphere was terrible . Didn’t feel welcome . When we came in all we were asked is if we were there to eat , we said yes! No smile , no welcome ! NOTHING! The food is super saucy, I would say even watery ! We were being rushed to finish as they closed in an hour . While I totally understand that they want to get out, you’re open till 10!!!! Our plates looked awful! My husbands chicken Parmesan was covered in cheese so thick he chocked ! We felt rushed , no smiles nothing! Won’t be going back! Completely ruined our anniversary dinner for us !
