Dopo aver letto che al Café Thai Como si trova l’autentica cucina thailandese, siamo andati a cena con delle aspettative molto alte. È stata una cena eccezionale!! Il menù è vario e accontenta tutti i gusti, talmente bello e invogliante che abbiamo ordinato tutti gli antipasti elencati oltre ai ravioli di verdure che erano fuori menù (eravamo in quattro). Tutto squisito, talmente buono che abbiamo ordinato un altro piatto a testa, io il Pad Thai con i gamberi... super! Restavano i dolci, abbiamo ordinato anche quelli. Le aspettative sono state ampiamente soddisfatte. La cucina è autentica e si percepiscono oltre che la qualità delle materie prime la maestria della cuoca che ha contraddistinto ogni piatto da sapori unici senza cadere nel banale “piccantino” per cui tutti i piatti hanno lo stesso sapore. I nostri complimenti alla cuoca e a tutto lo staff estremamente gentile e attento. Se abitassi più vicino, andrei a cena da loro almeno tre volte a settimana!!
Buonissimo! Menù corto, ma ogni piatto realizzato con molta precisione, con ingredienti freschi. Servizio fantastico, bellissimo design degli interni, livello di musica appropriato. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro pranzo, torneremo.
Il nostro locale thai di riferimento a Como. Locale davvero grazioso, ben curato e minimal, con un tocco orientale. Cibo davvero ottimo e gustoso, un percorso nei gusti e profumi thailandesi. 🍢sicuramente da provare gli spiedini di pollo con salsa alle arachidi (gai satay) 🍝 come primo spaghetti con gamberi, verdure e granola di arachidi (pad Thai khung) 🥩 e come secondo trita di manzo saltata con verdure e peperoncino con riso jasmine e uovo (pad krapow nua) Staff molto cordiale ed educato. Possibile ritiro per l’asporto, organizzato molto bene con etichette per ogni portata
Ottimo locale, chic ad un prezzo corretto. La capienza è abbastanza limitata pertanto consiglio di prenotare con un certo anticipo. Il menù non è molto ampio, ma probabilmente perché i piatti presenti sono molto studiati e vengono preparati divinamente - onestamente preferisco una soluzione del genere a chi ti propone trenta pagine di prodotti di scarsa qualità. Il pad thai mangiato qui è stato identico a quelli degustati a Ko Tao e Ko Samui, eccellente. Tempi di servizio molto soddisfacenti, siamo arrivati alle 20:30 e alle 22 abbiamo finito. Più che soddisfatto, ritornerò!
Per la prima volta ho assaggiato questo tipo di cucina con la possibilità di delivery visto il lockdown... ME NE SONO INNAMORATA! Servizio di consegna puntuale al secondo, packaging curato e perfetto, piatti strepitosi! Non potrei essere più felice, non vedo l’ora di potervi venire a trovare nel ristorante!!! Grazie mille
In questo grazioso ristorante a conduzione famigliare arredato con gusto minimale, sembra di ritrovare un angolo di Thailandia a Como. I piatti sono deliziosi e vengono accompagnati da un’ottima selezione di vini. Non ci sono punti deboli: la qualità delle vivande, l’eccezionale cortesia del personale, la musica di sottofondo perfettamente in tema, i prezzi consoni, tutto rende l’esperienza estremamente piacevole. Assolutamente consigliato, previa prenotazione direttamente su Whatsapp. Il mitico Gianluca vi risponderà in tempo record. Provare per credere!
PadKaphrao, il piatto thailandese snobbato all'estero.... Ma che rappresenta il cuore della Thailandia, un paese amato da milioni di viaggiatori. Un piatto che in Thailandia si mangia 24 ore al giorno, per colazione, come spuntino e per cena. Lo si trova ovunque, nei mercati con i loro grandi wok che riempiono l'aria di odori, passando per i minimarket dove si trova confezionato e già preparato, e arrivando fino alle cucine più prestigiose della Thailandia. Non c'è luogo della nazione in cui il Pad Kaphrao non sia una vera e propria istituzione. A Como fortunatamente si trova e viene cucinato bene in questo grazioso ristorante thailandese chiamato CAFÉ THAI. Mangiandolo e gustandolo, vi fa sognare di essere in qualche soi di bangkok.
Piatti veramente squisiti, "conditi" da tanta attenzione dal personale di sala. Consigliato!

Ristorante etnico in chiave moderna, come suggerisce il nome sembra più simile ad un locale serale che ad un ristorante. Cibo veramente squisito per chi ama questo tipo di cucine, sopratutto piccanti 🍛🤯

Truly delicious place with original dishes. Impeccable and friendly service, prices reasonable. The atmosphere is original, but I think it could be warmer (temperature). The parking garage is a five-minute walk away, very convenient. I'll definitely be back :)
Everything about this place is amazing! If you are in Como, you have to come here. It’s a mile from the center, but worth it and if you have a car you can find parking on the street. Thanks for making our nights!

Wow !! Thai food in Italy. And amazing food ! We were tired of all the pasta and pizza so on the last day of our trip, we chose this restaurant. Great food, very lovely staff, I loved the pad thai. Also it was very reasonably priced. Thank you!
Great place, great service, simple menu but very tasty. Had a last minute boooking for my client to dine early for dinner (6PM instead of their opening hours 7PM), they confirmed within minutes. Piatti eccellenti, il migliore tailandese che ho provato in occidente. Peccato alcuni dettagli negativi non relativi al cibo: coperto 2 euro, ma non è prevista ne una tovaglia ne ovviamente pane (posate da appoggiare su tavolo...), Infuso 3 euro servito in una tazza (a quel prezzo mi aspetterei una piccola teiera per fare almeno una tazza abbondante). Assolutamente consigliato a chi vuole mangiare ottimi piatti tailandesi.
Carino bel luogo ,la posizione penalizza un pochino, ed posare le posate sul tavolo senza una tovaglietta non mi sembra molto igienico.I cibi sono molto buoni soprattutto snack, gli impasti sono freschi fatti da loro.
Ambience was perfect, food was just ok, we have baby pork ribs, veggies spring rolls and khao pad sapparot. Service was so so inspite of there’s only 3 tables at that time. Ribs was so so, spring rolls not crunchy, the rice was perfect. It was a good experience. It was a beautiful restaurant.
Visiting from the tristate area in the US, so very familiar with Thai food. We were sick of all of the pizza and pasta and wanted a change. We were delightfully surprised. Food was delicious!
A positive experience, with the feeling that it could have been better. The place is quite modern but not elegant, with interesting prints and masks, but without much attention to detail (for example, the wine is served in simple trattoria glasses). The service is friendly, informal, and unobtrusive, without too many details. We enjoyed almost everything we ordered (we wouldn't choose the octopus again), without any particular mention. Not a lot of wine choices, but we were pleasantly surprised by the bottle we chose (we weren't familiar with the wine list, but it was good value). Overall, a pleasant place where you're comfortable in a shirt or T-shirt.

Really off the beaten track but the food is very good. Should be in a better location for the quality of the food. Small menu but cooked well. Bit lacking in atmosphere. But nice decor.

Authentic Thai in a relaxed and well-designed setting. The dishes are delicious and the owner makes you feel welcome. It’s a breath of fresh air in a town with not a lot of “ethnic” options. A bit on the pricy side for Italian standards but well worth the money. They also do deliveries.
Posto curato, di un'eleganza semplice. Personale cortese, servizio celere. Ho ordinato i Toon Tong come antipasto e il Pad Thai come piatto principale. Cibo buono, non il migliore che ho provato, ma apprezzabile. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.
Più café che thai, senza molta pretesa. Servizio gentile ma un poco svogliato, il menù è molto limitato ma quello che abbiamo ordinato era ottimo e preparato al momento. Spesa un pochino eccessiva a mio parere.
In una location calda e curata, la nostra esperienza é stata mediocre, dal servizio alla cucina. Il menù, già piuttosto limitato, contava tra gli antipasti 3/4 voci non disponibili al nostro arrivo. Nota di merito alla carta dei vini, naturali - una rarità a Como. Purtroppo però la cameriera non ha mostrato expertise a riguardo. Pietanze non indimenticabili e la porzione della zuppa esigua (il coperto non prevede né pane per ragioni culturali né alcun appetizer completare o per ingannare le attese). Per il tipo di esperienza, conto leggermente alto. Sicuramente da migliorare.
The menu is so small, and it's impossible to choose from the dishes what I prefer on the menu for example to change any dishes…. However, the atmosphere is pleasant and calm, with unobtrusive service.
I came back as I had a pleasant memory of it, but I got quite disappointed: I felt the portion were smaller and the octopus was chewy and kind of invisible portion. My soup was ok, but very small for the price. Cocktails were not available to order and only one kind of wine glass was available. It was very salty, and we kindly said and left some food. I was expecting a kindness when we paid, but it didn’t happened. Nice, but way overpriced.
