A very big steak house with Italien pizza and pasta! Many tables, service was very good and fast they also had a English menu. The food was ok but not good! It was a lot! Special is for sure if you order some beef or chicken that they server it on a hot plate.

What can I write. This place is a heaven for beer lovers and enthusiasts of great food. All beers that I’ve tasted in house and took home with me were excellent. American Wheat with a mulberry fruits, IPA and Super Weiss are simply amazing. Food is also delicious - my Black Angus tenderloin served on charcoal was a perfection. The one thing that was unique in the whole experience was that beers were actually brewed at the time of my dinner. Il Birrifico di Como is a must visit spot.

This place is huge! A bit crowded on a Friday night (off course) All kinds of people and groups. Service was good and fast. Food was awesome, and maybe the most important thing, their beers were great!

I was here a couple years ago. I didn't like my burger that time. Maybe they changed. I have to try again, but now my beef was Delicious. It was just perfect!

We went for the family dinner on Saturday night and we're very disappointed about the service. Very slow staff, even if the place wasn't packed, there were pretending that they don't see you, when you are staying for the 5 mins with hand up, asking someone to come over. We were served by the waitress Gem - unfriendly, rude, when we asked for dish and beer advice, she made a face like she is very tired of our questions... I don't really understand how you can keep the waitress like this. Food was good, especially the burger.

Locale molto molto molto grande, spazioso e a tema con il proprio nome! Camerieri molto gentili, disponibili e professionali. Vastissima scelta nel menu! I prezzi sono abbastanza bassi, sopratutto per le carni, è anche vero che la qualità non è delle migliori, ecco perché il rapporto qualità prezzo è idoneo! La quantità delle pietanze è un po’ eccessiva, in quattro che eravamo, nessuno è riuscito a finire il piatto e abbiamo quindi chiesto di poter portare il tutto a casa. Per concludere, per chi volesse passare una serata in compagnia, bevendo birra buonissima e mangiando in un locale diverso dal solito senza dover pagare chissà quanto, consiglio vivamente il Birrificio di Como 😁

Ristorante visitato per cena Abbiamo preso le tagliate di bufalo, dove sulla carta del menu c’era due volte con due prezzi differenti uno 22€ e l’altro 23€ con la stessa descrizione, parlando con cameriere ci diceva che probabilmente è la carta vecchia….. devo dire molto buono ma porzione a mio parere molto ridotte. Poi ho preso il dessert la cheesecake e devo dire veramente buonissimo così come c’è lo si aspetta. Personale molto cordiale, disponibile e comprensivo. Da migliorare assolutamente la pulizia del bagno delle donne, capisco che è un ristorante grande ma pulizia prima di tutto non solo nella sala e cucina.

Buon posto per pranzo di lavoro quando in zona... menù fissi con piatto unico da 13 o 15 euro incluso coperto, pane, acqua e caffè con possibilità di ordinare solo primo o secondo ... qualità media e porzioni generose. Da migliorare invece gli accostamenti un po stopposi (troppe patate e poca scelta verdure...). Meno convenienti invece gli ordini alla carte (la collega spende sui 20 euro per insalata/acqua/caffè...). Comunque è veramente un bell'ambiente, informale e accogliente anche se grande, tavoli spaziosi, stile industriale moderno ma anche un pò rustico... Decisamente piacevole per una pausa rilassante in compagnia. N.B.: i colleghi hanno apprezzato molto anche le birre !!

Grande sala ben insonorizzata. Persona disponibile, simpatico e competente. Menu con ampia scelta e piatti di qualità. Tempi rapidi di servizio. Ampi spazi di parcheggio. Un bel posto per passare un buon momento di relax

Come locale, questo è una sicurezza, perché è praticamente sempre aperto, e le porzioni sono così abbondanti che, o ci andate affamati, o dovete prendere la doggy bag. Non è proprio consigliabile per un date, perché è un po loud e un po' dispersivo: infatti si è pure rifiutato di presentarsi alla camera, lasciando il posto alla tagliata. Occhio anche alla cotoletta di pollo, è l'orecchio di elefante, come sopra: siate affamati. Per il resto, forse un pochino costoso, ma nel complesso è una very safe option.

Honestly, if you're looking for a restaurant similar to one you would find in the United States, this is probably the place to go. There was a lot of meat options regards to steaks and burgers. One thing I did enjoy was their options for beer. They had multiple selections and a few of their specialty beers were excellent. The biggest concern we had was the lack of acknowledgment from our server in the beginning. We had watched as another table had been seated and received their drinks before us. Aside from this, our server was very friendly and accommodating to the fact that we didn't speak Italian. I did my best to translate and, in the end, it worked out perfectly in regards to ordering food and drinks. I would go back here for their filet again. They cooked it perfectly in my perspective and the seasonal vegetables were very very good! Honestly, if you're one of those people who misses American style food, this is the place that you want to go.

Food is good and you can find dishes from near Switzerland. Hamburger are made with 100% Italian meat from certified farms without spices that change flavours. The chicken dish is very good. Only a cons in my opinion: it's a very big place therefore when it is full of customers there's a lot of noise

Birra davvero ottima, nulla da dire. Il panino col pollo non arrivava nemmeno ai livelli dei soliti fast food, il pollo al cestino in realtà era mezzo pollo super asciutto. Ci tornerò sicuramente per la birra e il servizio cordiale e sorridente, per il cibo non penso!

Totally overrated place. Service was cold and ignorant. Food was mediocre for those prices. Fresh seasonal berry dessert with ice cream was delicious. Otherwise seemed more tourist trap then good dinner option. :(

Ambiente bello perché grande. Ma finisce qui. Cibo mediocre se non pessimo. Il maialino alle erbe in Sardegna non era buono, ho passato la notte in bagno con la diarrea. La carne di black Angus era mediocre cottura giusta. Gli hamburger sono ok il pane sempre secco. Sono stato già più volte con un gruppo di amici e ogni volta la stessa situazione: servizio molto lento, scortese e non coordinato. Tre volte in una sera ci è successo che ci hanno portato il da bere due volte (da perte di due camerieri diversi) e ogni volta facevano venire un ragazzo più giovane al tavolo a richiedere conferma di cosa avessimo ordinato. Tuttavia, il conto finale sbagliato è stato corretto immediatamente. Anche l’attesa di 15-20 minuti per ogni birra ordinata è eccessiva. Comprendiamo la difficoltà di coordinazione in un locale di queste misure, ma la nostra esperienza negativa di certo non è un unicum. Regna il caos e i camerieri (Runner) sono completamente sopraffatti e non in grado di gestire tanti tavoli.

Personale molto gentile e attento. L'ambiente è grande ma ben tenuto. Il cibo: la pizza molto buona-il cartoccio di mare molto meno perchè era parecchio unto ed è un peccato, perchè il pesce era buono. Il cartoccio, una volta finito il pesce e le verdure mostrava tutto l'unto. Meglio farlo asciugare su carta prima di portarlo al tavolo! Peccato

We took the dish of the day. Unfortunately the meat was not good, it smelled funny and we returned it. Nobody apoligised or offered something else. They kind of ignored us. So at the end we told the guy at the cashier and he did not make us pay, because we did not eat. Still we would have appeeciated some consideration. The place is big, the toilets were not clean.

Non ci entravo da quasi 10 anni e ne passeranno altrettanti... Prezzi senza senso (2,50€ un Caffè che faceva anche pietà..) 16€ per una Caesar Salad che ne valeva forse 10-11... Qualità appena sufficiente ma costi non giustificati

Non sono solito scrivere recensioni di ristoranti, ma questa volta faccio volentieri un’eccezione. Il locale è piacevole, l’atmosfera gradevole, la birra buona e sulla qualità della carne non c’è nulla da dire. Il problema è stato il servizio. Una cameriera ci ha servito un piatto assicurandoci che fosse la scottona ordinata. Poiché il contorno era a base di verdure e non di patate come richiesto, le abbiamo chiesto conferma. Dopo essersi informata, è tornata ribadendo che si trattava di scottona, spiegando che c’era stato un errore sul contorno. Può capitare: il locale è grande, c’era confusione. Nessuno di noi si è lamentato. Poco dopo arriva un altro cameriere (molto giovane, avrà avuto la metà dei nostri anni, magro, capelli neri e orecchino all’orecchio sinistro) con la scottona e le patate. Con toni educati spieghiamo che una sua collega ci aveva già servito un piatto dichiarando fosse la stessa carne. Lui chiarisce che il piatto precedente era in realtà una tagliata di bufalo. Nessun problema, succede, anche in questo caso nessuno stava protestando. Nonostante il tono tranquillo e rispettoso da parte nostra, il cameriere inizia con commenti sarcastici rivolti ad alcuni colleghi (“siamo all’asilo nido?”), passa a rivolgersi a me in modo saccente (“dovrebbe saperlo riconoscere lei cosa ha ordinato”). Mi altero e allora tenta persino una paternale sul motivo della mia presenza lì. Lo zittisco e tronco la conversazione. Premesso che gli altri camerieri sono stati, chi più chi meno, gentili e professionali, il comportamento maleducato e arrogante di questo giovane è assolutamente inaccettabile. Se fossi stato il datore di lavoro e avessi assistito alla scena, lo avrei rispedito all’istante all’agenzia di collocamento. Quindi sì, consiglio il Birrificio. Ma consiglio anche al Birrificio di selezionare meglio il personale di sala perché ci sono giovani che quel mestiere non possono proprio farlo.

Dopo una prima esperienza con amici ( non molto entusiasmante ) volevo ritornarci per rivalutare il posto . È niente vado per prenotare e una ragazza scocciata al telefono , sgarbata si pone come se dovessi ringraziarla se mi trova un posto . Continuate così che tra poco tirate giù la serranda. Vergogna .

It was our first meal out, second visit to Italy, new area. Service was poor. Not friendly. I thought maybe it was because we were English. Waitress left us waiting for a very long while to order, she served several people who had arrived after us. We closed our menus to show we were ready, tried to make eye contact but we were ignored. It felt uncomfortable, it wasn’t busy and there were lots of staff who were also the same. No eye contact or even a smile or hello. We weren’t offered water. I had to go through the same process every time we wanted a drink when our glasses were empty. The food was okay. Just as we were leaving I tried again to make eye contact with the waitress to give her a tip as I thought maybe the attitude was because she thought English people don’t tip and I wanted to offer a gesture of good will to her. But she did the same, ignored us. So we eventually left. It’s the first time in Italy we have ever been made to feel like that. Very disappointing. Won’t be going back or recommending, especially to tourists.

We went to eat here on suggestion from our B&B host (B&B Hotel Como Camerlata) as they could give us a 10% discount. At the restaurant we were greeted by several waiters who barely spoke English and didn’t understand much we said. We communicated we had to eat “senza glutine” (gluten-free) as we both have Celiac disease. When we asked for the gluten-free bread the waiter put a bag of bread on our table and said nothing about it. After we took out the bread and put it on our plate, the waiter came back and told us “no gluten-free”, even though we specifically asked for ONLY gluten-free food. Horrible mistake which could’ve cost us our 2 weeks vacation. The caprese afterwards was very bland and not as juicy as you’d expect an Italian mozzarella to be. My angus steak was cooked nicely to my preferred rareness and the greens were fine. My girlfriend’s rösti had a horribly bland taste and the sausages had a bad aftertaste too. As if it was all pre-made. After all these blunders we got out of here as soon as possible. Added to this the atmosphere was really tasteless and there were a lot of loud people who disregarded that they were at a restaurant. Cannot recommend eating here. !!ESPECIALLY NOT IF YOU HAVE CELIAC DISEASE!!
