Ikoi Concord Reviews
First time here. Super cute & chill vibe. Pic of food was after I ate one shrimp tempura then remembered I wanted a pic of our dinner. The presentation was much better when it arrived. One teriyaki chicken bento with shrimp tempura and a lion king roll was more than enough for two. Overall, super happy with quality and quantity of food. Definitely recommend trying out this place.
Fresh and really good! Staffs are very nice too!
Great quality. Friendly service. Awesome sushi nigiri. The salmon belly, yellowtail belly and scallop nigiri were sweet and fresh. Real crab maki roll was tasty. Rock n Roll roll -unagi had good texture. Will come back for more. Update - trying out new roll the Premium Albacore roll with seared Albacore. Chef kiss!
The place looks unassuming but the food is ichiban. My son has the unagi sushi bento and he really likes it. I got the hamachi chirashi. The sashimi pieces are thick and fresh. The arrangement is done very nicely. Overall a pleasant and satisfying experience.
Best sushi place in the bay area. Omakase is $49 and it comes with 10pieces and a small starter. This is not a tempura/California roll kind of place. A must try if you want traditional sushi(nigiri). Free Edamame or small sake with yelp check in
The fish was nice a fresh, the service attentive. The hamachi carpaccio was very tasty with just a bit of spice. We loved all of our rolls and will definitely be back
Finally an amazing, authentic Japanese sushi restaurant! The sushi master here is talented. The kids loved it too. Not for the people who want American-style saucy rolls, teriyaki, noodles, etc. This place is traditional, authentic Japanese in that they specialize in doing one thing well, which is sushi. So happy we have this option now!
I love getting sushi here! I love taking my friends and family here when they are craving sushi or Japanese cuisine. The staff is incredibly kind too! This is a great place to have lunch or dinner.
Amazing food, extremely fresh fish, incredibly courteous service, reasonable prices, and an awesome experience all around. This is one of the best sushi spots in the area!
We had the chicken and beef bento boxes witch you can choose 2 sides. Both came with shrimp tempuras. The food taste good and fair priced. Family own , friendly service and clean ambience. I am especially impressed with their good sushi rice.
The service is great and the food is great! My bf and I decided to come after checking the photos on Google but didn’t realize the owner converted the full service to cafe style due to the pandemic. We were a bit concerned but ended up being really impressed by the food! Shrimp tempura breading was very crunch and the sauce added a right amount of flavor. Spicy scallop handroll was filled with scallops (the big ones too). Spicy Geisha roll and Rock n roll were both very tasty with the perfect amount of dressing. All the seafood was very very fresh! The only thing that bothered me a little is the disposable utensils and plates. I didn’t want to deduct a star because I think they have to survive with very limited staff. So if you are thinking of sushi to go, I highly recommended IKOI sushi!
Sushi was delicious, seaweed salad and inari were well seasoned. And the staff is super nice
the best sushi rolls I ever tried in San-francisco and whole Bay. fresh fish and unique flavors, amazing.
Stopped in based on the reviews. It was slow because it was a Tuesday, no one else there when i got there, which initially made me hesitant, but the sushi was excellent. Really fresh, good flavors.
Small, but great place for a solid meal. This is the only place that offered inari in the bento box that we’ve seen.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ikoi Sushi is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the area. The fish is unbelievably fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with so much care. Every bite feels like it was made to order just for you. If you’re looking for quality sushi at a place that truly values both its food and its guests, Ikoi Sushi is a gem you don’t want to miss. I’ll definitely be back again!
This sushi restaurant is absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk in, everyone greets you warmly and makes you feel truly welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always serving with a smile. The place is spotless, very clean and inviting, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food is outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and with a real homemade touch. The rolls are customizable, so if you don’t want a particular ingredient, they are more than happy to adjust it for you without hesitation. Every bite tastes authentic and carefully prepared. Overall, this is hands down the best sushi spot around. Excellent service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere, you really can’t ask for more!
Generous portions and good-quality food, with friendly and attentive staff. The presentation is decent, though not particularly memorable. The tea is bag-style rather than loose-leaf. Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood sushi spot—pleasant and reliable—but not the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression or strongly pulls you back for a return visit.
I think the food here was good. But I wouldn't call this a restaurant, more of a pick up place with a few tables. It used to be a coffee shop that they converted. Not the greatest ambiance for a nice dinner but good food if you want something super casual. For the prices though, I'd expect an actual restaurant.
We visited on a Saturday around 5 PM and were surprised to find we were the only customers there. It’s a tiny space more casual, almost like a taqueria size. Unfortunately, even with the place empty, the service was extremely slow. After taking our drink order, our server disappeared for quite a while. The edamame appetizer took a long time to arrive, and just a few minutes later our sushi rolls were brought out all at once. At our tiny two-person table, there wasn’t enough room for everything, and we barely had a chance to touch the appetizer before juggling plates. The food itself was good, but priced about the same as other sushi spots we’ve enjoyed more. The biggest concern came at the end of the visit. My husband went and used the restroom and said it was dirty and lacked soap and paper towels, which raises obvious hygiene concerns, especially in a restaurant handling raw fish. I told him I am sure the chef must wash his hands in the kitchen area. Right? Thankfully, we didn’t get sick, but it definitely left us uneasy and with no desire to return to this place ever again. Overall, between the service and cleanliness issues, this isn’t a place we’d return to. I will say the chef did a fantastic job on the rolls, but service and cleanliness outweighs the good.
