Amazing chicken Bahn mi sandwich! Made fresh to order, the bread was warm! Great flavor, not too spicy. Perfect size for me - maybe a hint small for my teenage son. Outdoor covered seating too! Will get back!

Kibi’s Cafe is an absolute must-visit in Walnut Creek! I had the tofu banh mi, and wow—it was perfection. The tofu was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. The pickled veggies added the perfect tangy crunch, and the baguette was fresh, airy, and perfectly toasted. Every bite was a perfect balance of textures and flavors! Their menu has plenty of other delicious options, but this sandwich alone is worth the trip. One thing to note—there’s no indoor seating, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot, though they do have some outdoor tables if you want to eat there. Also, calling ahead to order is a game-changer since they can get busy, and it’ll save you a lot of time waiting. Whether you’re a banh mi lover or just looking for a fantastic meal, Kibi’s Cafe delivers on quality and flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I was looking for places to eat near the hotel I’m staying at and this placed popped up. I had the lemongrass tofu banh mi and it was tasty. It’s a little bit spicy so it grabbing the Vietnamese ice coffee helps it. Definitely would come back here.

I have had many Banh Mi sandwiches all over the Bay Area and I’m usually happy with most of them, but then I came here on the recommendation of a store nearby and this was THE BEST BAMH MI I’ve ever had! The chicken was made with lemon grass, there was pate, the ratio of bread to sandwich was perfect, I was so blown away and delighted with the sandwich I had to go back inside and praise the ladies for their delicious food.

One of a kind, small café offering Vietnamese cuisine. Dining area is outside the café. We tried the vegetarian rolls, Ban Mi chicken sandwich, and the noodle salad. We loved the portions and the taste of the food. The chicken sandwich was delicious! Full of nice flavored grilled chicken and veggies. Budget friendly as well.

Took the Vegetarian Spring rolls and the Grilled Chicken Banh mi sandwich I loved the sandwich, the grilled chicken was tender and really tasty. The spring rolls were also good, not fried so that’s a plus, if you’re looking to eat healthy

This might have been the best Bahn mi I’ve had since moving to California. It had no business being soooooo good. Dang! Get the 5 spice pork, get the lemongrass chicken noodle salad. Get the iced coffee. Everything was just unbelievably perfect.

Excellent vegan noodle meal. The place is not fancy and you get to eat outdoors in covered or uncovered area. The service was with a big smile and super quick. Had #24. Friend had Chicken noodle#22 and he liked it a lot too.

Food here was so freaking amazing. I got the veggie spring rolls and the chicken bahn mi. It was so flavorful and fresh. The ladies behind the counter really put love into the food. The shop was cute. Definitely recommend going and I will go back again. Sandwhich was demolished

The half salad and half turkey & avocado sandwich is packed with goodness, totally worth it. It was not on the menu, but the cafe owner was willing to accommodate to my request. :) Will definitely come back to try the Vietnamese sandwich she recommended.

Kibi’s is hands down the best, freshest Vietnamese lunch spot in the area. I’ve eaten Banh Mi all across the bay and nothing even comes close. I’ve tried most things on the menu: the summer rolls, noodle salads, iced Vietnamese coffee, vegetarian options— all 10/10. Staff is always so friendly and provides great service.

Guys. You MUST go to this place. This is hands down the best value lunch in the entire area, bar none. I initially went here because the pictures looked enticing, but they do not do this justice - not even close. The delicate crunch of the bread, the authentic combination of pate and tender, marinated meats with layers upon layers of flavor, combined with the freshest veggies, it truly does not get better than this. Their salads are very good as well, but the bahn mi is truly standout, best of the best. And then with the prices they offer? I might come back here every day. Unfortunately the space is quite cramped and there's a little bit of outdoor seating, but the food is so good, fast, and inexpensive who cares? You won't even sit down before you've finished your sandwich.

Very nice flavor filled Bahn mi sandwiches on a fresh roll. My wife enjoys the rice bowls which offer lots of food for a modest price. Service is pleasant and quick. The small seating area is outdoors so it can be less than pleasant on a cold day. New branch is opening in Danville near Trader Joe’s and SRV High. Hope they include Pho in their menu

Fantastic food! Yummy. Fresh and fantastic for lunch. Swing by and grab something on the go or sit in the cute tables outside. There is only outside seating which can be very windy even if it’s not very windy out so bring a jacket because there are no heaters. But the food is so good it doesn’t matter.

How the heck have I never been here before? So many Vietnamese places in the US get banh mi sandwiches wrong, but these guys? ✅ perfect ratio of meat and fillings to bread ✅ toasty roll that doesn’t overwhelm ✅ saucy ✅ not too many carrots / daikon ✅ fragrant grilled pork ✅ amount of jalapeño They also have pretty good vegan spring rolls!

One of the most popular Vietnamese street foods, Banh Mi is amazingly good here. Baguettes have influence from the French. The outside of the bread is so crusty and crunchy, not thick. but the inside is so soft and airy at the same time. these textures make it even more perfect for a sandwich. What is great to me is that the perfect ratio and mixture of all ingredients between breads are so perfectly good. not too soggy, the textures are so phenomental!! Jalapeno pepper has nicely spicy kick to it as palate cleanser. The vegetables are so freshly good! Even one bite can give you very different textures and dimensions at the same time!

Great banh mi for the price you can't beat it. Got 2 pork banh mi, 3 spring rolls and viet coffee for under $40. The bread was fresh. A lot of meat and veggies. Staff was super friendly. No indoor dining.
