Old Corner Copperopolis Reviews
We stopped here for dinner. Everyone else was closed by 8, they were open til 10pm on a Tuesday. Menu is simple, they had their 12 items and fixings, along with a special menu for Taco Tuesday. We opted for the 45 day aged ribeye. Add the buttery garlic glaze sauce they put on top. Delicious! Meat was cooked exactly how we wanted it, the meat was tender, local even explained same farmer for over 30 years. Baked potatoe was great, chili was great. Even the vegetable medley i got of broccoli, mushroom and mix was grilled to perfection, it didnt taste like that storebought bag you get with the typical blend. The time was a little lengthy. About 40 min wait from order to table, but with the tender taste and quality food it was well worth the wait. I think only 1 person cooking but hey, its a one horse town with history. I ate here many years ago when I was a kid, had a burger but many years later first time for dinner. Its a saloon, so mayyyyybe not the best place to bring kids if your sensitive to that kind of stuff, but it doesnt bother me none, they have a high chair.
First time there for me, pull up to a old bar, has one dollar bills on the wall or deer heads. I heard the breakfast is amazing, but we had a gift card, so we came from dinner. Chanel the bar tender is awesome, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She was very busy but she kept the drinks coming. Dinner was lamb lollipops, New York steak and Ribeye Steak. OMG, all were cooked perfectly, seasoned with loved. The vegetables had flavor and my onion rings had a light batter on them and crunchy. Tasted the balsamic salad dressing and that was delicious. We kept passing forks around because you had to try this no try this! One of the best meals we had in a very long time. We asked that the Chef come out, Christina approached us, we got to tell her thank you to her face. She said she loves to cook, and we told her you can tell, you can taste the love. Go! Parking is tiny but there is only a few tables so get there early. Honestly, felt we were at a 4 start restaurant located in a barn. Lol. But it works! Staff are sweet and good is incredible.
All I can say is it was fun, interesting decor, and super nice barkeeps and locals. Will definitely return. Didn't eat, but food looked good. See ya soon.
Amazing old bar with super burger and perfect french fries in a good atmosphere👌👍 thanks for that
We stopped on the way to Angels Camp and absolutely loved the place. The pretzel and beer cheese is phenomenal, and there was enough cheese left over to dunk our fries in! We will be stopping there as often as we are in the area.
Excellent, was to tempting to let the gram eat first! Friendly atmosphere, great food! Excellent baked potato with chili!! I’d definitely stop in if you are passing by!!
Without a doubt, IF you find yourself in the area and want the best steak you've ever had, stop in, ask for Madi, manager, tell her Paul and Kelly's review sent you in.
Great place to meet new people and have good food. Yes the building is over 100 years old (and looks every bit of it but the folks there do more to make you feel welcome than most places.
A piece of history from the 1800's. So worth stopping in for a burger and beer. Kids are welcome. A true old time outlaw hangout.
Bar has a friendly warm feel to it. The staff is very friendly and fun to chat with. Drinks are phenomenal I recommend the bloody Mary here.

Stumbled on this place on the way home from Yosemite, and we were Lucky! Great people, great food and okay price$.
My friend and I had lunch today. We both had the fish and chips. I have to admit I thought the price was a little high but after we got the food I was wrong a big piece of fish and a lot of fries my friend had onion rigs and even she had a lot. This food is so worth the price and the service was very good the young lady that served us was very polite. We will definitely be going back.
Stopped here on our way from Oakhurst to Lake Tahoe - what a great place for lunch! We enjoyed some great burgers and steak salads. Service was super friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend stopping by for some food or a beer at their bar!
Great food! Best place to eat in town! I recommend everyone to come here especially if you want a good steak or anything on the menu 10/10(:
This is a fantastic place if you want to really experience life in Copperopolis. We had an excellent Sunday morning breakfast that rivals many top-notch restaurants. The service was beyond expectations — extremely friendly but not overwhelming. I would strongly recommend Ira’s for a good meal or just to hang out for some cold beer! If you are lucky, you’ll get to shake hands with Ira!
I'm in shock right now — my expectations for this place were almost zero. At first, we were like, "Oh, let's just stop here, grab a quick bite, and find something better later." But once we walked in, we were like, wow, this place is amazing! So unique — and it's been here for years! The atmosphere is great, you can play pool with the locals, and they’re so nice and friendly. And oh my god, the food is delicious! Also, shout-out to our server Kevin — he was incredible! He did everything at lightning speed, and even though I'm a bit picky, he brought my order exactly the way I wanted it. He's absolutely fabulous! We're genuinely impressed with this place — it's truly a hidden gem in the desert.
This place rocks!!!! Ira is a cool owner and the food is fantastic!!!!! Don't pass this place up. The history behind a the saloon amazing. Looking forward to our next visit!!!!
Went there on a whim and had the best whiskey sour I ever had. He made it old school with the egg white and all.
Great historic bar with amazing food. Open a wide variety of hours for dining, with options from top tier aged steaks at night to a rise and shine breakfast array of the classics.

Went here for a burger and fries and it was totally worth it. Fresh meat and the cook did it justice. The service was good and the people were great to talk to.
Amazing service, nice ambience, and yummy food! My group got chicken wings and the 4oz steak. There was a long wait for food, but we understood because it seemed like there was only one employee. I didn’t realize that baked potato toppings were an extra $3 - I felt that it was steep due to the small size of the potato.

The food was fairly good. The steak was tasty and I was given a generous portion. The tater tots were really good. The only thing was that the bread was kind of soggy and not strong enough to hold the sandwich together. Also there only is one restroom and it is kind of outside and very cold.
