Silver Spoon Diner Corona Reviews
The food was delicious. We ordered chicken sandwich, crispy chicken panini, western panini and some chocolate cake slices. The coleslaw was superb. Nice ambience. Would go back again.
Great local diner. I've only had breakfast there but I've been happy every time.
Love the place..its clean, food is good. Cooked just right. No complaints..💕
Classic American diner with great food and fast service! Silver Spoon Diner is my go-to spot for breakfast and comfort food. The omelets are fluffy, the sandwiches are hearty, and the fries are always hot and crispy. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient even during busy hours. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, perfect for families, friends, or a quick meal. Dine-in or takeout, the quality is always consistent. Highly recommended!
best diner i’ve been to so far !! 😊🩷 i usually don’t come to queens, but i randomly came here as i see it everytime i pass by here — they did not disappoint. i came on a saturday morning and everyone was so nice and kind. the food is super yummy, and the waiters are very attentive. definitely will visit again next week! i got the fruity explosion on a waffle, with bacon and a latte. my bf got a burrito with coffee (forgot to take a pic of it) and it all came to $42 and change including tax + tip.
Charming diner with a nice retro atmosphere and great prices. I like that they have all day breakfast. The seating is nice and a lot of little things make this place homey.
Their food is good but be careful when ordering delivery. My delivery guy took it upon himself to set the tip at 18٪ when I paid with a credit card. Also I ordered sweet potato fries. They put it in a big container but it was only half full. Definitely wasn't worth the $6. I literally could have counted the fries they gave me.
Visiting "home" since living in CA, and there's just something about NYC diners that sets them apart from all the rest. This diner is no exception. Good coffee too! Loved the raffle tickets too! When you first enter the dinner, before you're seated, do the take for a (free) chance for something special. Buena suerte... Good luck 😃
We came here Sunday morning with the whole family. They didn’t have eggs Benedict or much of a typical extensive diner menu. You have to order 3 eggs, you can’t just order one egg and a side so I had to order a big meal. My omelette had egg shells in it but it was still delicious. My husbands scrambled eggs also had egg shells in them. My sons silver dollar pancakes were great and my moms 3 egg platter must have been great because she devoured the whole thing. The coffee was great too. Total for four people was around $70, which is steep but normal for this economy now.
Our party of 3 mostly enjoyed our food. I got the falafel wrap, which was pretty good, but definitely not among the best I've had. It kind of felt like they threw in a side salad as opposed to ingredients specifically cut for the wrap. Nevertheless, it was decent. Where this place really lost points was on the service. Our server, who I think his name was Martinez, worked as if he has never been a server before and was filling in for someone. For starters he immediately brought out a soup while the other 2 people waited 20 minutes for their food. To not be rude, the person waited for us to be served. I would think serving everyone together is the appropriate thing to do. Secondly, after dropping off the food he never once stopped by to ask if we needed anything. This place is insanely popular, so if I come back, I'll just make sure I'm not in that guy's section.
I paid $35 for two breakfast sandwiches and two hash browns that were prepared with the most minimal effort and attention to detail I even paid for extracts on one sandwich and they both have the exact same amount, I understand everything is gone up with inflation but not that much especially for the poorly prepared food they make.
I’m so dissatisfied for the service is the worse.!!! I’m leaving in the area. All the time I’m going to silver spoon. But yesterday I’m not going anymore and I’m tell all my friends and all the people leave in corona.! Because yesterday im asked for pastries, cuz I’m know you sell cakes, croissants, etc. but this old guy so rude told me like: “no, we don’t have you go to another restaurant” but told me like you get out for my restaurant. Okay perfect I don’t go anymore to this restaurant. For me this guy is so racist. Only Im asked you have cakes. The food is incredible.! But the service ohh lord.! Is the worse.! And it’s not the fist time, the servers don’t have capacity. Sorry but is the really.! I hope the manager do something. Only more kindness. Please.
been ordering here for almost 2 years and never in my life have I experienced something like this. The woman I spoke to said they don't keep things like this in the kitchen so how did it end up under my salad !? idk what sicko tampered with my food but you're lucky its not a lawsuit....
Unfortunately this place fell off. It's not how it used to be. The staff are really rude. A simple question will make them mad. The food, let's just say... Not a great experience. Hope they improve in the future. Not recommended at this time.
I went today to have a coffee latte and a tea, the guy at the register ( on the pic)was extremely rude and has an attitude. That’s not good for business, I’m taking my money somewhere else. why is it that people has some kind of hateful attitude in customer service? first and last time there.
