I love salmon hand roll. I’ve been craving for fresh salmon for along time since I move here. Thanks to R91 I finally could eat raw salmon.I’m very satisfying the taste the portion.

Students get a 10% off 👍 The price here has increased, but so are the size of food. The sushi rolls are huge, and tasty. I ordered tonkatsu, it's really good in terms of portions and texture of the noodles, but the broth was really bland/diluted (-1 on food) We also ordered some salmon sashimi, it tastes really fresh and good, would highly recommend. The service is great, the waiter comes and check if you're doing good often, and they recognize your raised hand almost immediately. The atmosphere is great too, and there's a cool Mount Fuji drawing.

Great place for lunch or dinner. If you are going to dine with someone who does not like fish or sushi you can bring them here for a large non fish/vegan option. My favorite are the avocado rolls and the tempura roll. The tempura vegetable appetizer is also delicious. I haven’t eaten sushi in a long time but when I did anything I ordered here was good. Glad I can still enjoy a large selection without fish.

The food we chose to eat had had an excellent presentation. Everything had a fresh taste to it. The Sushi wow the taste of freshly made well worth the price. If you get an opportunity to go you will enjoy the different choices on the menu!👍🏼👍🏼

We love this place. Definitely our favorite date night place to go. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is very nice. The quality of sushi is the best we have had, and believe me, we have tried so many sushi places. Price is fair for the quality sea food they have. Everyone is super nice and the food is impressive every time we go.

Went on a Thursday pretty empty. The decor inside is all over the place, handwritten menus all over the place too, could do with tidying up the way they present their menu. The sushi bar itself looked clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, the service was good too. Prices reflect their quality, so I would say fairly priced. Would go again.

We arrived and it took too long for someone to ask our name and how many people were in our party. There were four other parties that wanted to check in too. It wasn't crowded at all so we were surprised that it took 10 more minutes to be seated. Menus were provided promptly but it took too long for our server to take our order. We were happy that we could have separate checks. Timing of our food too longer than other sushi establishments we've enjoyed previously. Our sushi and rolls were all tasty. After our food had all arrived it seemed service was more aware of us and checked in more often. Bottom line: management needs to work on timing of service. Food was very good. Will try this place again hoping service will be better.

Cons: - very disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement - sushi was so-so - 20-25% gratuity already added onto bill. Pro - our waitress Dina - Outside ambiance was cool and my 2 y/o daughter enjoyed - family and stroller friendly - parking friendly First let me start by saying our waitress Dina was excellent. She gave us great service and was kind and pleasant. July 5th was the observed holiday for 2021 so on Yelp! It says to call and check the time. No answer. Called about 5 times without an answer so we decided to just drop in, in the chance that it might be open. Lo and behold it was. So we walked in..........(however many periods i punched in was how long it took us to get acknowledged), finally got acknowledged and was told it would be about 5 more mins which turned into 10 min. All the while I'm looking at a partly empty restaurant. [ Yes i understand, there's is a shortage of workers, but an acknowledgement should not take 10 min.] So Dina came out took our orders and surprisingly, the food came out fairly quick. We ordered 1 order each of fatty salmon sashimi (5 PCs) $13, salmon sashimi $12, yellowtail $13, 911 roll $11, salmon ceviche roll $14, brakes salmon roll $14, 2 salmon teriyaki entrees $13, kikusui unfiltered sake $14 and 2 Orion 22 of beers at $7 a piece. The sashimi was fresh so that was a plus, but the rolls i felt were so-so. Nothing really memorable about them. The 911 was supposed to be done kind of spicy flavor but was disappointing. Food-wise nothing really stood or for me. What did stand out was the 20-25% gratuity already added on at the end of our bill. We had 5 adults and 1 toddler. I don't know if this is a Norm now since the pandemic but this would've been great to know ahead of time. Luckily Dina provided us good service, but if we didn't have good service? Food was decent, but personally I wouldn't come out of my way to grab sushi.

The place has a great lay out and feeling. It was very lively. I love fish but this fish had a very strong fish taste, almost like something was not fresh. We were not given the standard things when you sit down like water and when our plates arrived we were not given utensils or smaller plates. Drinks were well mixed.

We had the worst service today. No greeting nothing straight to the order. This is only our 4th time here and we were trying to make it regular spot, but today that completely changed. Not only our waitress had no personality whatsoever, but she got a little attitude after we told her our glasses were cracked and dirty, obviously she didn’t check them. Then I had to get up a couple times to get napkins, forks, and things because she was just too busy. She didn’t even say goodbye to us when my wife said goodbye. Talk about entitled brat, and the worst part is that they included a tip which she definitely did not deserve because you just don’t treat clientele like that. She made us feel unwelcome. Not cool! This Is from somebody who has been in the restaurant industry for 15 years. I hope R91 shapes up and better train their staff. This happen in the bar area.

Very bad quality food and service. We came here on a Saturday night. The server didn’t even know what the special was when we asked. She also rushed us when we ordered. Every time she came by and asked us what we wanted, we would look down at the menu and then up again only to realize she was gone! It was extremely frustrating. Most of the rolls had imitation crab that is overly saturated with mayo. Very off putting. Would not come again and not recommend!
