Cafe 20/20 Coronado Reviews
Amazing coffee!! I’ve had the mocha and the white mocha there and it keeps me moving all day and the taste never dies ! The açaí bowl is to die for . I’ve had both sizes and the quality and taste is out of this world . They make everything from scratch ! The peanut butter melts with every bite in your açaí! The atmosphere makes you feel at home .
This is a solid corner café that has a huge menu of items to choose from. Whether it’s Aqui bowls, or fresh smoothies or sandwiches, they have it all. They always have really friendly service and get you in and out very quickly. The pricing is very typical for any place right on the beach like this. The premium location is worth it. This close to the beach there of course is no parking immediately. The neighborhoods in this area usually get filled with beach traffic. the quality of food is a plus. I would absolutely come back anytime I’m in the area.
The best green smoothie I've had in my life was from this place! My family also had breakfast, and they loved it. I ordered the omelet, and it was soooo tasty and authentic. We visited from Phoenix and will definitely come back to this place for breakfast, bobas, and smoothies. The only "cons" i have to say is about the waiting time. There were only 2 people, so it took about 20 min to get our order of 4 breakfast and 4 drinks and also it was a little pricey but again it's because it's a local small business. I really recommend a little bit of patience & support this small business. 💕
so yummy and staff was so sweet! the crepes were the best i ever had! My boyfriend loved the acia bowl too. thank you so much for the amazing food
I have gotten the açaí smoothie, Hawaiian bowl and iced coffee here, all great and gonna go for more. Mala, who works the front is a sweet person and has amazing customer service. She works very hard to make the customer happy, I know I enjoyed my experience there vs the bike path shops that are fast paced.

Amazing service and even better food! Breakfast sandwich and the Acai bowls were very fresh and good!
Pleasantly surprised. I was a bit gunshy after the bad reviews on Google, but read and decided to try it anyway. Yes, obtrusive recording plays upon entry that you’re being recorded, but a large berry smoothie and double espresso for like $16 (both good) is better value than pretty much anything else you’ll find for breakfast within blocks of here. Service was prompt and kind. I’ll come back.
Me and my dad had just travelled from Las Vegas so we’re hungry we noticed this place on the corner which look like it had a range of foods. We decided to give it a go and I was certainly impressed. I got a fruit granola bowl and my dad got an açai bowl. The man was very kind who served us and was very quick there was so much fresh fruit which I loved! I would say it is a little bit on the expensive side as they both came to around $34. It’s a shame I live in England as I know I would come here a lot and I would definitely recommend!!

a place I would prefer to avoid. Its not terrible just uninviting. Everything about that place seems to want you to leave and not be there. Just look at all these posted signs. Set lunch time-Not terrible but posted Minimum wait time. No substitutions- not unreasonable but to posted on the wall? Window shoppers not allowed inside-On a giant card board box just inside. So I cant look and see what you serve before deciding if I want to eat or drink there? The entire experience was that of get out and give money for being there. Food: Costco food court food for $6+, The Boba Tea was pretty good though. Service: The lady who worked there seemed annoyed that I was there until I ordered. She did get to work right away on my order and was pleasant after ordering. Atmosphere: The small box of a dining feels like dining in a hot box Storage closet, the feeling of being unwanted. This place is just not welcoming at all. The experience felt hostile. I will skip this location my next time in the area.

The boba drinks have boba that is not real boba it is not chewy at all. The drinks are really sweet and taste really artificial.
The place was hideous. No AC. He had a fan going. How cheap right. The floor was DISGUSTing. And one smoothie was $14 dollars. I was just curious and too kind to say anything. But girl, beware. This place needs some better workers. So nasty. Do not come here. Ever. I will upload a picture of the dirt under the counter. On and the “lobby” was closed. Just the laziest business owner in San Diego. Bro this is not your career. Get a day job. You do not know how to run a food business period.
We ordered three different drinks... An orange juice, and two different boba drinks. The orange juice is stated as Valencia orange, that's coming from a "juice bar." It was clearly minute maid bottle juice upcharged. The bobas were absolutely terrible. Unfortunately there were no other boba tea places close to where we were staying so we settled for this. I should have looked at the two-star review prior to going there. Try some places on the boardwalk instead.
Almost $50 for 2 waters (small Costco Kirkland brand coconut and Kirkland brand Alkaline) and 2 açaí bowls (Hawaiians). The bowls were barely filled half way. Mine was missing the peanut butter I had paid for but it was added, after I mentioned it. The other literally had less than a small pinch of shredded coconut, like less than 1/4 tsp (immeasurable and insignificant for flavor or nutrition). (Prices here are significantly inflated, while significantly cutting quantity of offerings… a combined practice I have not seen elsewhere.) There was a fly in one bowl when I picked it up. We tried to eat our bowls, just outside while sitting on the edge of the planters, but the “house” flies were too aggressive. One bowl was cracked on the side, that we didn’t notice until we were half way home and had a small mess. I am currently sick to my stomach after eating my bowl (I eat açaí frequently) (my bowl also had the peanut butter). If you are a tourist, you might explore this spot… The bowl, did, taste good, although I felt completely ripped off and now sick. If you are a local, I doubt you will come here repeatedly.
Got the wrap “with chicken” and a coconut water for $28. Got my food and found about 4 little bits of what I think is canned chicken which would be okay if they didn’t try to oversell it with a “large wrap of slaw veggies” This picture is half the wrap with no chicken. The chicken was only stuff in where the wrap was cut. The rest was veggies.
Rude Bad Experience WOULD NOT GIVE A 75 YEAR OLD LADY ICE WHO FELL for me the service wasn’t rude it was how the owners acted to the other people. Me and my best friend ordered kids size açaí bowls. As you can see from the pictures below the acai wasn’t even an inch thick it was barely any. That wasn’t the worst. As me and my friend are standing there ordering, a lady comes up to the counter and kindly asks the owner if she could have a bag of ice since her 75 year old mother had just fallen out side on the concrete. The owner replied and said “no nothing is free anymore or today” The customer said all she needed was a handful of ice for her mothers chin that was bleeding. The owner refused to give her the ice but handed her a plastic bag. I then offered to pay for a cup of ice but the owner said I could get it for free since I was a paying customer. I took the cup of ice and handed it to the family and they were very greatful. After that I don’t think I can ever give this place the gratitude of my service.

Terrible experience at Cafe 20/20. I was charged over $30 for a chicken wrap that was about 90% cabbage and a drink. I waited for my food for a long time. There was barely any chicken, the flavor was bland, and it definitely wasn't worth the price. When I said I was surprised at the total, the person at the counter asked if I knew how to read and pointed at the board basically asking me if I was stupid. I was actually a bit shocked by this interaction. You work in a highly populated area so if you don't like your customers don't be in this business. Your food isn't worth it. The staff was rude and the food was disappointing for the cost. I will not be coming back. Avoid this place!!! Adding to this review since the business commented - absolutely not lying about my personal experience here. Very disappointing response as well, you are basically just telling on yourself how rude the people at this business are. Being polite goes a long way! It is free to be kind
This place is the worst place I have ever been to. It is 2 nasty people behind the counter that hate there life. It's my fault because I read the reviews and said well they can't mess up egg and cheese on a bagel. THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS RUNNING A SHOP , LOOKS LIKE THEY CAN NOT EVEN RUN THERE OWN LIVES! It was a slice of cheese on a bagel for $11.00. I asked where the egg was and they said if you don't like it get out. How these two angry people are still in business is beyond me. The place is filthy! The lady's hair was all over the place and the man was sweaty! It was 9 30 in AM! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !! GO HALF A BLOCK OVER TO WOODYS !! 0 STARS!!!
This is the WORST!! I came with my kids and my littlest one was really wanting boba. I then proceeded to buy boba that was 16.50!!!!!! Too expensive with like 9 boba balls in it, the smoothie was good but overall the place was janky and disgusting. It was a small store and the sign was rude, it said “if you give attitude, then your order will not be accepted.” Don’t recommend. In response to the owner: I honestly hope the owner finds some optimism and peace, you’re living in a beautiful city and you seem healthy, which are such blessings. You deserve to feel joy, not spend your time being rude or bitter toward customers. With a kinder attitude and some patience, your business could really thrive because it’s in a great location. If customer service isn’t your strength, maybe let someone else handle it so you can focus on what you love. Life’s too short, grow old happy, not grumpy. I mean that with all sincerity, you are in my prayers 💗
This place was unfortunately gross… I tried a recommended from the cashier and everything about the drink was awful. The boba has a weird texture an extremely weird after taste not to mention there was only like 10 pearls in my drink? I paid $7 and would expect and least a scoop a boba… I will not be returning. wish i read the reviews before hand
I wanted an açaí bowl. I went in to look at which bowl I wanted, and got yelled at for taking a second to look at the menu. The service sucked. If you want business maybe have good customer service. I didn't even get to try the food, but I bet it was as bad as the service.
$42 for a tiny microwaved breakfast sandwich and a cold cabbage omelet is not worth it. flies were everywhere, and the menu was shady so you cant see the prices very well. we should've check the reviews before going, it was a scam for sure. if you want good food, go to the Mexican restaurants across the street from Belmont Park, those were wonderful.
Poor atmosphere: the second you walk in you have a cámara stating you are being watched, a sign front a center says “if you show attitude service will be refused”, and the attitude of the server was very short. For a smoothing and ice latte it was $22! They were just okay tasting. I would not recommend

The drink was good, but service was horrible. As we were looking at the menu, we were yelled at to either sit down or get out. The lady didn’t allow me to order for two of us, and yelled at the rest of our party as we were still deciding what to order. Very unprofessional.
