Soi PB San Diego Reviews
WOW!! If I could give more stars I would. Walked in at 6pm and was seated right away! The gyoza came out within 5 minutes and the entrees within 10 minutes of ordering. The food was absolutely mouth watering across the board!!! We got the pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles roasted pork. The lavender milk tea was an absolute delight and the server was so kind and attentive. Definitely our new favorite Thai spot :)
So glad I walked into this place - the food was incredible and the service was so attentive. We got the pineapple fried rice and the drumstick khao soi. Before we left, we asked for a red guava sweet tea to go. Everything was so delicious we couldn’t stop eating even when we were full. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in San Diego and highly recommend to anyone.
I stopped by and tried their Thai tea — absolutely delicious! Perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess, super refreshing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place had a nice cozy vibe. Definitely coming back to try more dishes next time!
Best vegetarian option’s on Pacific Beach, and overall excellent food. Good Tom Yum Soup, Fried Rice, Rice Curry, and Fried Banana Ice Cream
This has been our first Thai food experience in the US. My wife is Thai and we have been eating lots of Thai food in Germany and Thailand as well. But this place was just amazing. The pad Thai and gai pad mek mamuang was just on point and had the typical flavors. Aroy dee!! to say it in Thai 😁 the mango with sticky was our dessert and it was absolutely mind blowing. No joke! One of the best we’ve ever eaten. You need to visit this place if you’re in San Diego and craving for authentic Thai food. Recommendation!!!
We got the Panang curry (w/ pork) and the pad see ew (w/ veggies), both were delicious! The pad see ew was particularly good because it was not too sweet. I will be back to this place!
This is excellent Thai street food. We’ve been coming to this location for quite a while. They’ve refreshed the menu, but the same favorites are still there. We had Tom Yum soup, an order of gyoza, and two vegetable delights. It was quiet, service was great and the food is excellent. Even if you want to try Thai this is a great place to start.
Small but cozy thai spot! Discovered the place by coincidence and ended up trying some of the dishes with my friends, they’re delicious!! We tried pad see iw with red pork(?), Chinese broccoli with crispy pork, and one dish i can’t remember the name but it’s crispy pork salad with spicy & sour dressing. All the dishes were really good and worth the money. Also, we visited on Sunday evening and they weren’t busy so we didn’t have to wait long.
This place is awesome! The lab crispy pork was super flavorful with the perfect crunch – seriously addictive. The pad see ew was one of the best I’ve had, with noodles cooked just right and that amazing smoky flavor. The stir-fried Chinese broccoli with crispy pork was simple but so tasty, fresh and full of flavor. The staff were really friendly and welcoming too, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back for more!
Okay the food is top notch. Do recommend this if you are around PB. I went twice. Everything is 5/5. The staff is sweet aswell.
Absolutely wonderful Lunch special here, I believe I got my pad Thai and two fried spring rolls for $11.99?? Great Pad Thai too! I hate when it’s too sweet, this one has a great balance. Their curries are also fire.
You won't regret eating here! I got the pad see iw lunch special and it was the perfect portion with the 2 veggie egg rolls. The egg rolls were perfect, nice and crispy and not greasy at all. The pad see was delicious, and had a bit of sweetness to it. Friendly owner working the front. I highly recommend coming here if you're in PB
UPDATE: Take-two, a week later and this place is NOW on point. The move is to get mild spice on the Pad Thai and an ounce side of chili oil. Great portion even for lunch special. Great flavor and not skimping on the peanut, chicken or scallion. For the poor soul who gets extra spicy, your experience will be ruined…don’t do it! We can be friends now :) - - - - - - - - Well I’ll have to try this place again but for now has to be 3-stars as my Pad Thai was inedible before I removed 80% of the chilies. I get 8-10 spice level every time I order a pad Thai. I LOVE SPICE, it’s borderline impossible for me to complain about too spicy…until now. This Pad Thai made my tongue numb and eyes water within seconds. I don’t get why they did this. They offer: no spice, mild, spicy and extra spicy, not a number scale. MAYBE it’s my fault for selecting extra spicy but I have no clue who would enjoy this. Would be a spice level 20 if on a number scale. Once I removed the excess spice it was tasty and good portion so that is why I am going to try this place again.
Had dinner there on Sunday evening. Food was delicious, friendly staff. Will be going back again if I'm in the area.
We had a fantastic meal! Pad Thai with chicken and Panang Curry with Shrimp! Very good! Service was friendly. Small space but worth it!
The food here was very authentic and delicious! I ordered the pumpkin curry with chicken and it was incredible. My boyfriend got the Tom yum soup and pad Thai and was not disappointed. Not much of a “fancy” sit down place more of a quick bite sort of atmosphere but non the less, I still highly recommend! Service was quick food is awesome.

Pineapple fried rice was savory and spiced just right! Khow Soi was so flavorful with yummy crispy birds’ nest noodles and two chicken drumsticks. Enough left for lunch!!

Went for the first time today and ordered pad Thai with chicken to go and it was so good! Best I’ve had in PB. I got Spicy Level 3 and it’s the perfect amount of spice without feeling like you need to drink water in between every bite!
We had chicken pad thai, shrimp spring rolls, gyoza, sticky rice, chicken satay. Everything was great! Thank you for feeding us on Christmas Eve. May God bless your restaurant.

Came in and got the side of pork belly as a appetizer and it was ok.then for the main dish I got the pineapple fried rice and the Food was awesome, they also have a really good Thai iced tea lemonade which was really good! And finished off with a mango sticky rice dessert which you must try here, service was excellent and the atmosphere is pretty small but nicely decorated, overall a cool spot for some great Thai food
Really good apps - spring rolls with delicious warm slightly spicy peanut sauce, pork belly bites with mayo. Pad see iw and pad kee mow- noodles are nice and soft. A little oily. Beef pieces were unfortunately all tough and overcooked

Very flavorful and aromatic pumpkin red curry with just the right amount of spice and sweet level. Definitely recommend the restaurant. The server was courteous and friendly.

The only place where I can get one of my favorite dishes, Kana Moo Krob, crispy chunks of pork with Chinese broccoli. It could need some fresh chilies and some garlic, but otherwise pretty good. The curries I have tried so far, Panang and Red curries, I'm not too fund of. But I will keep testing their items and find something else I like. Happy there is another Thai place in PB
