Went with all my friends and had a great time! The food and drinks were great, and the service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Definitely would go back and highly recommend!

Food was delicious!! The place was nice and they were able to fit us all (12 people). The staff was super polite and attentive. Prices are affordable and the kids loved everything.

Excellent service since the beginning looking to cover all requests, quality food and hot sake, you should try the chef's combo with 12 niguiris and miso soup, it was amazing. Very thankful with Helena and the staff, you made a great experience better

The food was fantastic. We had some of the best tuna money can buy. My son and I travel together a lot and his place was one of the top sushi restaurants we’ve been to. Ask for the head chef, André. WOW was he good!

Typical PB sushi spot, lively, loud, busy, all in a good way (unless this is not what you are looking for....) To my surprise, on top of the typical "party sushi" rolls.... if you ask for it.... the chefs CAN make you something epic, amazing flavor profile, highend and fancy..... they got the skill, try them!

Great spot for sushi! Staff is attentive and incredibly kind. The chicken karaage and cucumber salad was a perfect start. The sashimi was divine and melted in your mouth! The coconut shrimp and garlic edamame to start. All so fresh flavors and beautifully prepared. For drinks we tried the Hard Guava Lemonade, so refreshing with a sake kick! We sat in the indoor-outdoor patio with air conditioning and relaxed into the evening. Sarah took care of us and was just an absolute delight with great recommendations. We will be back!

The staffs are all very friendly and very kind. We always try at least 1 new item but have our order set on the Salmon Lemon, Golden Tiger and Zen.

Girlfriend and I had such a great dinner at PB Sushi! We ordered everything our server Sarah recommended and we were glad we came hungry! It definitely looks like they have been making changes as the place feels much cozier, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer. We are planning on coming back this weekend after our beach day! Might need to call and reserve a table because they get busy! Definitely one of our new favorite spots in Pacific Beach.

Our rolls were flavorful, and the presentation on the plate was beautiful, and shoutout to Chef Andre for crafting our rolls. All in all it’s a great option if you’re looking for exceptional service, and a delicious meal at a reasonable price.

A satisfactory experience with reasonable pricing and service. We entered on a busy Saturday night, be aware that the place gets packed! Out of the items we ordered, the Miso Ramen and the Chicken Yakisoba were the best; I highly recommend both of them. Our waiter was patient and friendly, and the food came out relatively fast, which we appreciated. If you're looking for some moderately priced Japanese food in San Diego, this is a great place to go.

Careful! This place use to be our “go to” but something dramatically changed. We ordered out some sushi and it was terrible. Fish seemed old, dry and cut by a 10 year old. The rice was the worst part(the most important part). The rice was dry, grainy, tasteless, and patchy on the rolls(I feel I could have done it better). Where I once passed this place as the “GO-TO”…I will not go back.

First time trying here after 5 years living in SD. Horrible! Not recommend! All rolls has the same flavor, service was really bad, our server came to our table every 20minutes, and the restaurant was empty, most of the time we were just waiting for someone to take our order. And after all this 18% of gratuity will be add to your bill no matter how many people at your table (was only me and my boyfriend). Won’t be back!

It's a terrible place. I placed an order 40 minutes ago. They kept telling me it would be ready in 10 minutes, but I waited for an hour and didn't get my order, so I left.

I was passing around nine 30 and super bad service Because they kicked us out when the food arrived and brought us a check as soon they brought the food and we had to eat with our fingers because they didn’t bring us silverware because they told us they were closing in 10 minutes and they didn’t bring us our drinks either and they still said if we were gonna finish soon when we asked for a box to leave. Don’t go if you don’t want to have a bad time, there’s better sushi place's.

The California rolls were gas station quality. The spring rolls were cold. Presentation was lousy. Sushi was low quality. No wasabi. No soy sauce. No chop sticks. No napkins. No fortune cookies. Staff was unwilling to listen to our concerns or offer to correct the order. Never returning. Never referring anyone. Horrible experience.

We had a party of 5. We ordered a glass of wine and it came full of fruit flys. They replaced the glass of wine but kinda grosssed out at that point. They gave us a "discount " it was $8 off after $156 tab.... we should have left after the merlo o flies.
