Trattoria Bellavista Corso Cavour Reviews
Great portion to price ratio with very uniquely done desserts. Everything was well plated and beautifully presented. Better than the Michelin recommended restaurant I was just at last night in Florence.
We absolutely loved this place! The food was outstanding every single time we visited — and we ended up coming three times during our stay in La Spezia because we couldn’t get enough. The staff was warm and welcoming, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere right from the start. Each visit, we tried different dishes, and every one of them was a delightful surprise. The food, the place, and the genuine hospitality made this one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended!
Fantastic food, great service. It was lovely to sit on the street to eat. Started with an amazing first dish of pulled pork and polenta. Then we had spaghetti and tuna pasta for the main. Ended of with sharing one dessert, but since it was amazing, we had to order a different one for sharing as well. The service was also fantastic, very helpful staff that was both polite and friendly.
I loved the food here, all dishes were amazing and authentic. The pasta was very flavourful, and the risotto was on point. Desserts were fabulous as well, the presentation was beautiful and they all tasted great, not too sweet! My only gripe is that the portions here are quite small, though to be fair the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Prices are fairly reasonable as well. Service was good as well and the atmosphere was comfortable. The place was pretty crowded on a weekday evening so do remember to make reservations. I'll definitely be back if I'm in La Spezia again!
This was truly cuisine, and even impressed my French chef husband. The food is cheap and has an extreme amount of effort, with delicacy in flavour and attention to presentation. The servers were so kind, and knowledgeable about the dishes as well as recommending a wine. The same amount of effort was placed upon the desserts as well, which is often looked over. Amazed!
Some of the best food we had in Italy. Booking is a must. The tuna is highly recommended. The wine list can be confusing for foreigners, so ask for recommendations. The cheese cake in the shape of a fruit is absolutely beautiful. But for some reason, cheese cake in Italy does not taste cheesy as the NY style does
So so delicious. Everything we ordered was just fantastic. The stuffed mussels, risotto, sea bass, and desserts were all spectacular. Quality of food, preparation, presentation, and service were all top notch. Highly recommend and should make reservations. Wish we had ordered more dishes to try or stayed longer to go back for another meal. We definitely plan to return in our future trip!
We loved the restaurant, especially the people working there, they were incredibly nice. We had two starters, both of which were amazing. The pasta dishes were just okay, but the desserts were nice too. We would definitely recommend trying the Cremoso alla vaniglia! We think normally this place deserves a 4.5 stars if we could.
We had a wonderful meal at Bella Vista. The food featured classic Italian flavours mixed with Ligurian specialties. What stood out most was our friendly, knowledgeable server who made the evening special. She impressed us by speaking fluent English and then switched to French for the table next to us, showcasing her multilingual skills. The pasta, especially the pesto, was delightful. Our server's wine suggestions were spot-on, guiding us through local Ligurian and Cinque Terre options with clear explanations of their value and price points. While the food was good, it wasn't extraordinary, but still enjoyable. We called for a reservation at 6pm for a 7:30pm seating and were accommodated with the condition that we finish by 9:30pm, which was perfectly fine. This flexibility on a Saturday night was fantastic. Overall, we highly recommend Bella Vista for both its food and excellent service. Australiani!
