Meetbar Via Del Prione Reviews
I'm not sure why its getting mediocre reviews, this place is great. Great food choices and reasonable prices. It is in an L shape and lacks curb appeal, but we had a great time there. If you look around the corner in the side street/alley, you will see the excellent outdoor patio, which I think is preferable to the inside spaces. Food seems to be the same as all the other places in the area. It's true that the bread/pizza dough is excellent .
Wow! Our hotel suggested this venue for our first night in La Spezia. We were so overjoyed that we decided to dine at Trattoria da Sandro for all of our meals during our stay. For the three of us, are most expensive meal was 57 euros. It included a litre of house red wine, a calamari salad, one pizza, cutlet with fries, one salad along with table bread. The table bread was so good! Whether it be the house made focaccia or their brown bread. On our last evening we asked if they would be able to give us half and half because both their breads are so amazing.
Excellent, excellent, be sure to have the Seafood salad, awesome and more !
A great family business with value. Mama is awesome.
Good food. Good service. Reasonable price.
Good food, ok service.
We ate mozzarella-tomato salad, fried calamar and pesto lasagna. Portions were not enough big but they were all very delicious. That might be better if the size of the plates were big for the cost.
The pizza was nice but the mussels were to die for! Service a bit clumsy.
The food is ok . Not out of this world. Too many choices means quality will lack . The Lasagna was ok and tasted reheated from frozen. Same for the fries which were generic frozen fries. The steak was ok, oddly looked like a cut of pork or veal. Lots of fat very little meat and it was served well done(not by choice) . The bread they bring you is very good. Probably some of the best bread you could get as a little appetizer. It was made with pizza dough , was served warm with a drizzle of olive oil. The pizza was not that great. The Calimari was disgusting and inedible (don't order this for the love of god). It had the weirdest texture and was not fried or sliced into rings. The service was good. But overall wasn't a great experience and the other guests dining there didn't appear to enjoy their meal as well.
We ate here two nights in a row because our hotel had a partnership with the restaurant, so our booked dinners were made here. The service is fine but the food lacked taste and quality. On the first evening, I ordered the fried squid and grilled eggplant. The squid was cold, flavorless, and tasted stale. The grilled eggplant was also cold and had a weird texture. On the second evening, I had the bacon and gorgonzola white pizza. Again, it was ok but not exceptional. My partner ordered a pizza that, on the menu, had "rucola" but arrived with ricotta instead. Could be a mistranslation and wouldn‘t have been so bad had he not been allergic to cheese. Overall, the food was okay but lacked the quality and flavor of other meals we‘ve had at other trattorias.
Absolutely terrible experience. We asked for gnocchi pesto and were met with rude behavior from the start. After we left, some of the staff mocked us out loud, shouted, and even splashed water on us. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially at a restaurant. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
Not good
Pasta cold and all was terrible
The restaurant does not exist. I walk 20 min in rain for lasagnia i was extremely disappointed. 🤌🏼👎
Food is fresh. But it is not tasty. Looks like kitchen treat our dishes casually. And serving isn't good neither.
Price is ok, but bad quality of food. Air condition eqiupment is dripping water in the restaurant.
