Had a great experience the hostess was very accommodating and helpful with our reservation that did not register into their system. Our waiter was very friendly and along with all of the rest of the staff. Great food lovely atmosphere and I was pleasantly impressed that we didn’t walk out engulfed in a smell from the grill! 10 out of 10!
This was my third solo visit to Beefbar Milan, and it was honestly the best one yet. The place always has this cool, welcoming vibe that makes dining alone feel completely natural. I started with the tacos, which were fresh and packed with flavour, then went for the Kobe beef carbonara, rich, creamy, and absolutely incredible. The Parmesan and truffle fries were the kind of side you keep reaching for even when you’re full. The staff were warm and attentive, just as they’ve been every time. I left happy, full, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly recommend!

We were craving some steak and decided to pay a visit, and luckily they were able to offer a spot before closing for the afternoon! The atmosphere was bustling yet elegant, a great hang out spot with amazing food. We got the double portion wagyu which was to die for, the quality of the beef top tier, very fragrant and perfectly marbled. It was also perfectly seared. The mash potatoes were also very impressive, rich and creamy, resembling more of a sauce, if you will. My mum loved the caesar salad in particular, the sauce was flavourful and the veggies were fresh. The beef tartar sando was nice, but we’d skip out on the beef bar sauce, it wasn’t our favourite. Overall, I’d definitely visit again, a little on the pricey side but worth every penny!
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, not knowing the menu were counting on the waiter for advice on ordering specifically saying that we rather try more dishes than have big portions. We ordered a steak each with the Kobe beef on the menu being half portion, exactly the way we wanted it. The food was amazing, we ate more than we wanted thinking that should have ordered less. Slight disappointment when the bill came that we were given a double portion of the Kobe steak. The waiters should be more clear while taking the order to avoid such mistakes.

The service was fantastic. Truly attentive, personable and professional, even with our kids. The atmosphere brings you back to the high class stake houses of the world. My plate was absolutely delicious, but I give it a 4 star review because the chef refused to make the beef tartar without sauces, I wanted raw meat and I was told that "signature dishes" couldn't be changed. For this I give it a 4 star. Sometimes, you go the extra mile for a repeating customer and here they simply didn't.

The blonde woman with short hair who greeted guests at the front desk seemed reluctant to work, or perhaps unwilling to serve Asian customers. I've been to this restaurant twice, and each time I saw her cold face, which was truly disheartening. Whether it was seating us or giving us the bill, she maintained a completely indifferent attitude, without a single smile. In multicultural Milan, in this relatively upscale restaurant, encountering such a person was truly disappointing. Of course, the restaurant's ambiance was beautiful, and the food was delicious.
I went to this place with high expectations having heard they have some of the best meat in all of Milan. The quality of the meat was only okay compared to what normally one would expect in the US. My wife got a filet and I got a smashburger. Neither was cooked especially well and were not a good value based on the prices charged. However, where It was really lacking is in the service. The waiter here was outright rude. He forgot to bring my wife truffle fries with her steak. When she asked him about it several minutes later gestured to my fries and said " eat some of his".…. No matter that mine were playing, she ordered truffle fries but the temerity a waiter say something like that! It just ruins the whole experience when you have terrible service. The atmosphere was nice. The location and setting are beautiful and both inside and outside have a lot to commend. However, on the outside, this restaurant does not have the sun face in it. I suppose that's good in the summertime but in the fall like when we visited it's a drawback.
(Monday, 17th Feb 2025) We have travelled the Bernina Express from Switzerland into Milan, Italy and the Beefbar was specially chosen as part of our 30th wedding anniversary. The service started off well with the young waitress and the manager, however, we were quite disappointed with the food. The first problem started with the main course, the steaks were nicely cooked, however, I bit into something very hard from the seasonal vegetables, which I thought was sand or small stones, further inspection shows it was some hard shell from the nuts (was later told it was chestnuts). I placed these hard "bits" to the side of the plate, and informed the waiter, who was very apologetic, I guessed he must have raised it with the kitchen, as he explained it must have been the chestnuts shell (I thought they were walnuts shell, as they were very hard like stones). I mentioned that we didn't want to make a fuss about it, as I have already finished most of my main course. The second problem was when we ordered the fruit platter to finish off for the evening, it took almost 15 minutes before it was served, we thought they were growing the fruit. When the fruit platter was being served, the waiter accidentally dropped something, which my wife later said it was the "Happy Anniversary" card that was supposed to be on the plate as a surprise. Again, we didn't make a fuss as it was getting late and we had a plane to catch the following morning. However, the worst part was my wife showed me some of the fruit seems rotten, or mould (I didn't believe it at first as the restaurant was dimly lit, but I have shone light from my mobile phone and it seems on the red currants and raspberries, as pictured). As mentioned, we were already quite disappointed from the experience and needed to leave. For such a prestigious establishment, I would have thought the standard and quality of the food to be much higher. We have paid €190 for our meal, it's certainly a memory to have, but for the negative reasons.

The service was superb but the rest below average. The Tagliata has zero flavor. And I was debating between giving it a 3 stars but when I saw that they charged me €10 for a 250ml Coke Zero, that was it. The beer cost €10 euros which is Japanese and more than 250ml. Simply ridiculous.

The service was very bad and the food was not worth it for the money! It was a terrible experience!also they pressing us to finish the dinner and pushing us to order more !
We came here just for drinks. After asking for the bill and paying in cash, including tip, we waited several minutes, but no waiter came back outside to collect it or even check on us. We left the money with the receipt on the table and left. A security guard ran after us after having left the place aggressively accusing us of not paying. We calmly explained the situation but he was rude, disrespectful and continued to accuse us. We were taken back to the restaurant where a waiter confirmed that the bill had in fact been paid, yet the security guard kept shouting instead of apologising. Being publicly accused after paying is humiliating and unacceptable. This was clearly due to lack of communication among staff yet we were treated with hostility. Terrible customer service - avoid if you value basic respect.
