Flores Corte Madera Reviews
We came in around 6pm Monday Jan 26 and sat at the bar. Our server came over right away, was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The aesthetic inside reminds me of beachside Tulum. We ordered the chicken tacos plate with beans, salsa and spicy veggies, the flautas de chorizo, and sopes de frijoles with avocado and lettuce. We paired it with the habiscus agua fresca. Delicious all around. Great spot.
Flores has come up with excellent new vegan items recently. We came with a party and they had created a pre fixe menu for us. Everything from the chips and guac, oyster mushroom ceviche to the veggie bowl and beyond meat parrillada was very flavorful, fresh and generously portioned. Ask for the vegan menu!
Exceptional all the way around!! Service was great and food is phenomenal! Wish we lived closer to come back more often. Decor is traditional and upscale.
🇲🇽 The bar program at Flores Corte Madera places a strong emphasis on tequila, featuring specials like this fun Tres Amigos—a pairing of a blanco tequila shot, a Mexican draft beer, and sangrita. Flores's Happy Hour is the perfect time to enjoy their elevated Mexican cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. I paired my drinks with the Birria, which were both delicious. ★★★★★
We had a wonderful dining experience here on a Wednesday evening. It was very busy and the wait for a table of 5 was long, so we sat at the bar table which turned out to be awesome. The staff was super friendly and they even gave our kids crayons/activities. The food was excellent. My wife is hard to please when eating out…she was impressed with the flavor, presentation and quality of food. Best tortillas. The kids loved their chicken burritos and my Enchiladas plate was delicious. We had the Ice cream Sunday to top it off. The food and staff here are top notch. All smiles and such a great vibe. If you are in Corte Madera check them out!
I was staying near the Corte Madera town center and this became my go to spot for the few days I was there. Everyone who works there is super friendly and the food is really delicious. Definitely one of the best dining options in the area. I tried the salad and the breakfast burrito, both of which really hit the spot. They have both inside and outside seating. The outside is a partially covered patio and is quite nice to sit in.
Seriously so delicious! We visited the restaurant right in between lunch and dinner time. We opted to order from the lunch menu. The menus are similar. It appears that the names of the dishes change and maybe portion sizes. Beautiful decor inside and out. The seating outside looked beautiful and comfy. The day we visited it was freezing out so we opted to sit indoors. Service was pretty good. Staff were very friendly. All the dishes were very pleasing to the eye. The taquitos dorados were phenomenal! I only wish the serving was a little larger. The plantains were cooked perfectly not overly greasy or dry. So sad I wasn't able to try the corn pancakes as they were out. Must be a popular menu item. Will definitely be visiting again when in the area.
Our party of 8 had a long table near the bar with a short notice on the weekend evening. We had a pitcher or two of margaritas to share for the table and most of us had a various entrees. I think we all enjoyed the meals but what really impressed was the space was beautifully designed and really high-end almost posh Mexican restaurant. People at the bar and dining room look all very beautiful and stylish yet very laid back and casual. I think the waiters were all very attentive and possibly a lead waiter or manager was visited us a several times to make sure everything was brought to us properly and make sure if we needed more water or extra napkins etc. we also shared fresh made churros as a dessert, and that’s yummy and very Spanish, I thought.
A have come here a number of times for social and business functions. The staff is attentive and intuitive. The food and drinks are well prepared and they have a great selection on the menu.
Excellent, Mexican food! I had the three tacos one Carnitas one Pastor one chicken! All were very very good! It’s clear they make their tortilla chips onsite and the salsa in amazing! Highly rexommend!!! Clean restrooms as well.
I really loved this restaurant. The employees are so friendly and very service oriented. They really do care about making sure you have a good time while here. The food is very flavorful. The coffee is good but be aware that they don’t have any milk alternatives. The space itself is bright, full of color, and clean.
Dry close to the Best Western and inside a mall area. Looked very new but service was great. I had the carnitas plate and was very pleased with the cilantro sauce that came with it. It was slightly baked so crispy but still moist. Interior is pretty and looks like there is a room for a private party
I got this Carnitas Super Burrito yesterday. So big it is like 3 portions. I refrigerated more than half. And just cut the half in half. Omg. Good craftsmanship. Solid pieces of Carnitas and you can even see the cheese in the middle! Superb. Burrito and chips and 4 Oz house made killer Guac all for 24 dollars including tip on Doordash

Came into town and went to try out Flores. We arrived and they were closing for an employee party and rather than turn us away, Jordan the general manager took our order and we were served for take out which actually worked out best because we were able to eat in the beautiful BnB we rented for the night. He made us feel like family and engaged us in conversation and it was enjoyable. He told us mi casa su casa and it felt like it. Thanks Jordan, great meeting you. You run a great establishment where the food was amazing and the service was equally amazing.
Always an excellent meal! I don't like paying for chips but they're worth it, thin and perfect with 3 salsas. Generously filled tacos. Great outdoor patio.
First off, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, so from the moment we arrived, we were excited. The staff was all very kind and personable. They took the time to explain items on the menu and accommodated both our bilingual and english only members of the group. The food and drinks were also extremely good and the prices were fair. Highly recommend giving this place a try and we'll definitely be back.
Our first visit. Had the Guacamole with chips which came with 3 spicy salsa , the Flautas with Chorizo and also chichores . And the Breafast Burrito with Carnitas the burrito was big and I could only finish half
Generally good food and decent service. Nice clean modern decor. Bathrooms are clean. We ordered their weekend brunch. The carafe of water and drinking glasses all around is nice. No chips - just one teeny tiny bag of wheel shaped snacks for a table of 5. IMHO there should’ve been one bag per person. No chips or salsa. We notice not all meals have the standard rice & beans combo - sometimes only beans. The carne asada was a bit too chewy although it tasted great. DO NOT order an arnold palmer…. You’ll get tea with an overwhelming dose of straight up lemon juice. Had to water it down and add lots of sugar.
Think we came here the day before all the restaurants got shut down and only started doing take out. The food is very filling and you get a lot for your money. We’d passed by on a weekend prior and the place was packed so it seems they have a strong filling already. I’d definitely return for the tacos and even more during their happy hour that seems to be on the weekends too which is awesome! Only thing I’d ask for is an offering of salsas to accompany the tacos. Hope to be back as soon as we can!

The place is really good if you need a light test in Mexican food, in case that you need savory, spiced and authentic Mexican food isn't here. The atmosphere is excellent for a get together.
Trendy finer dining. Might be great for an impressive date, but not really family friendly in my opinion. They do have some very unique meals though with great combinations of ingredients. We ran out of water three times, and our chips didn't get refilled. The portions of food were not filling for my family so we won't be back.

The dining room is light and contemporary. The food is fine and fairly priced. The service was really slow. The staff were very friendly so I can only assume they are understaffed.
Flores Cocina & Bar offers an enticing atmosphere and flavorful dishes that transport you straight to Southern California or Mexico. However, the poor service left much to be desired, overshadowing what could have been an exceptional dining experience. The Atmosphere The ambiance is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, capturing the essence of upscale coastal dining. It’s the kind of place that immediately sets the tone for a relaxed, enjoyable meal. From the decor to the layout, Flores nails the aesthetic. The Food The food itself was the highlight of the evening—well-prepared, flavorful, and generously portioned. • Chips and Guacamole: Served with three distinct sauces, each offering its own unique flavor profile. From smoky to tangy, the variety added a great start to the meal. • Carnitas (Single Serving): The portion of pork was substantial and flavorful, served with three small corn tortillas, black beans, vegetables, and rice. The issue? Three tortillas were nowhere near enough for the generous portions of sides and meat. While I would have requested more, it was nearly impossible to get the attention of our server. • Euforia Tropical Cocktail: A refreshing and well-balanced mix of rum, Giffard orgeat, Ancho Reyes, pineapple, and lemon. It was light, tropical, and perfect for the setting. • Coqueta Cocktail: My companion swapped vodka for gin in this drink, which was an excellent choice. The flavors of raspberry, ginger liquor, and lemon blended beautifully, making it one of the standout drinks of the night. • Enchiladas Rojas de Pollo: This dish featured poached chicken, Oaxaca cheese, sour cream, spicy tomato sauce, shaved lettuce, avocado, and rice. My companion was thoroughly impressed, finishing every bite. The Service Unfortunately, the service was where Flores failed, badly. Despite the restaurant not being overwhelmingly busy, we found ourselves consistently ignored. Water glasses sat empty for far too long, and we had to flag down other staff members just to request basic refills or additional chips. Service like this is a huge miss for any dining establishment. Adding to the discomfort, nearby patrons allowed their children to run around unsupervised, creating unnecessary chaos. While this isn’t the restaurant’s fault, it certainly contributed to the less-than-relaxing dining atmosphere. Final Thoughts Flores Cocina & Bar has everything it needs to be an exceptional dining destination: delicious food, a great atmosphere, and reasonable pricing. But none of that matters if the service is so lacking that guests feel neglected. It’s frustrating when you’re forced to chase down staff for basic necessities like water, especially when the food is as good as it is here. Until Flores improves its service standards, it’s hard to recommend this spot fully. If you’re willing to gamble on service, the food is definitely worth trying. But for me, the experience left much to be desired, and it’s likely to be awhile before I’ll return. ⭐⭐☆☆☆

Ambiance: location is nice looking and decor is nice. When you first walk in it’s cold. We were seated and provided menus and ordered. I ordered the elote pancakes and a side of scrambled eggs with salsa. My partner ordered carnitas plate for breakfast and when asked how he would like it cooked he said medium rare. We were so cold that they conveniently have blankets in the restaurant. Odd but cute i suppose. The establishment seemed nice but that was only in the decor. Me elote pancakes were cold, flat and hard. I was disappointed because i have made elote pancakes and they were NOT fluffy, warm and easy to cut. My partners carnitas plate when served was cold. The meat was chewy and overcooked. For a breakfast time, we were never asked to refill our coffee or hot water for tea. 1. The air conditioning shouldn’t be in all the time. It makes all of the food cold. 2. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT
