This place was perfect for our Valentine’s Day dinner! We didn’t have a reservation, so we sat at the bar, which worked out great. We ordered the special, a grilled NY strip with cheesy potatoes, and it was delicious. I also tried the pomegranate hibiscus fizz cocktail and the white wine sangria, and both were lovely and generously poured. The atmosphere is casual and cute, making it a really comfortable spot for a date night. We would definitely come back next time we’re in town!

Don’t let the name fool you… though my memory bank will forever have this restaurant’s name locked in as “Hairy Toe”. I must say that hands down the seating at this bar is like nothing I’ve experienced in my 18 years of the occasionally bellying up to bar… the leather seats were soft, clean including luxuriously high backs with 360 swiveling experience, for those who find it intolerable to sit still. Though some restaurants dish out portions gearing toward the “bigger is always better mentally”, they fail to serve a meal that is appetizing…. This restaurant did not disappoint! I sized up what felt like an eating competition platter to find the meal was delicious!!! Staff never skipped a beat all while maintaining a very pleasant atmosphere! Our bartender was Kalissa, whom greeted us with a smile and friendly banter throughout our dining experience! Will definitely return next time we are in the area!

From PA and we went here by chance for dinner on a ski trip to Greek Peak. This place is so awesome. Atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The servers are staff are so friendly and helpful. And the food...WOW! So good. You can even get legit pizza from the shop next door.

Love this place. Fantastic atmosphere and service. Great menu with excellent food and large portions. Many gluten free options which is awesome. Owner is always there greeting people with a smile and making sure everything is great.

Great food, friendly staff. The atmosphere reminds me of watching an episode of Cheers. The restaurant was full, so it was quite noisy, but we could still have a conversation. They were super packed and let us know before we sat down but our server still managed to make sure we had everything we needed with a steady stream of food coming out to the table. The menu is eclectic. It’s not often you see Shepard’s pie, calamari and pad Thai served in the same place. I had the black bean avocado salad and hubby had the Shepard pie. Had a savory grilled cheese bite as an appetizer. Great food! Definitely eat here!

Really good meal and service... Spinach artichoke dip was phenomenal. Chicken riggie was ok (couldn't tell the tomatoes or peppers were in there), but the shepherd pie and stroganoff were some of the best.

We were in town Friday night for a concert in Homer and stopped in here for dinner before heading to the venue. Turns out it was also parents weekend for the college and very busy. We had no reservation, but they very nicely were able to seat us at a small table very quickly. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The food was great and the atmosphere is just so warm and inviting. So thankful we dined here.

I have lived in the area for years and never tried Harry Tony's. I wish I had come in sooner! The service is top-notch, and the menu was varied and delicious. I recommend a reservation as they fill up quickly. I didn't expect to find a poke bowl next to a burger on the menu. I'm totally coming back!

Great music with a 70’s chill atmosphere. Service was super nice. The Nachos are enormous. Had flights of beer and wine, how cool is that

Great outdoor lunch spot for us today! Sandwiches were great. The candied sweet potato fries were a good change of pace.

Wow, this place is a treasure! The menu has many gluten free and vegan options. The menu is clearly labeled as well. They even had a gf beer, which is a nice treat! I was so impressed by the sizable and VERY shareable portions. The food was delicious as well and service was attentive. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. We will be back!

What a TERRIFIC find! I am a dedicated foodie and my Maryland senior volleyball team was playing in a tournament at SUNY, so I looked online for good places to eat & drink. Why Hairy Tony's is not rated higher, I'm not sure - must be because there are other local bars for the college crowd, but the food here is truly outstanding. The quality of ingredients, variety, amounts, attention to cooking, seasoning, and prep - it rivals anything in major metropolitan areas! We ate here TWICE it was so good. Mix & match tacos: look at the menu, had short ribs, marinated chicken, both fish, all with amazing ingredients and quality proteins. Rack of ribs, skirt steak sandwich, burgers, 3 different salads, fresh shucked oysters, fiddlehead ferns w/melted brie & crostini, (!!!), desserts, all top-notch. And the craft cocktails, martini and margarita flights, were outstanding.

We stopped for lunch, and the first thing that took my attention was the amazing historic building the restaurant was housed in. Once inside (note that there's a step up *right* at the door), there's a nautical theme that goes nicely with the raw, industrial brick of the building. The atmosphere was nice and calm, though I can imagine the place bustling with college students on a weekend evening. The seating layout is well-designed and comfortable, and toward the back there are bigger booths and a small raised area. The portion sizes were generous, and everything we tried was very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and our food and drinks arrived quickly. I left overstuffed!

Met up with some friends for dinner at this place in Cortland. Great atmosphere, crowded on a Saturday evening. Appetizers we had fried calamari and the brussel sprouts. Both delicious. Sprouts were covered with cranberry pine nut and blue cheese. Yum. Dinner was tacos. Cod and grouper. Fish was light and flaky. Flavorful. Dessert white chocolate macadamia nut cheesecake. Surprisingly light and delicious. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

This place is halfway to Niagara Falls for us and what a great find!!! We had the nachos grande with the chicken on the side. The chicken was delicious! Fish and chips, fish tacos and the Skirt Steak sandwich all were amazing. We found this place going north and we stopped on our way south. If it was closer to home, we would be regulars

So incredibly good!! We had a burger, the clams with sausage and loaded nachos. One of those dishes could have fed the both of us, very large portions. The garlic knots that came with the clams, are the best I've had! Definitely check this place out. The owner sat us at our table and hung out at the bar. Lots of gluten free options too!

This is a pretty cool bar/restaurant to spend some time in. I ordered a local beer on tap and the chicken schnitzel. It had a little flavor and was kind of dry. The german potato salad that came with it was the opposite. Bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked potatoes. The vibes inside are very nice as well

Very unique and fun looking establishment. Food is very diverse with many different options. I stopped in on my way through town and needed a place for a real meal. It seems to be one of the few dinner establishments truly open later into the evening. Def would recommend

We had lunch here. My dad said it was the best chicken wrap he’d ever had. The Mac and cheese was pretty good and homemade. Plan to wait a while as they are cooking your food from scratch.

Good gastropub with a long beer list and a diverse menu. You can find something to eat and drink here. We stopped in on a Friday night. The place was hopping but the staff worked very hard to move people in and out with an efficient manner. We got a few items on the menu, shepherd's pie, steaks, and fish and chips. All came out at the same time with relatively in its own form, pie was hot, fish and fries were crispy and steak cooked to its specification (medium rare). The IPA was fruity and flavorful, accompanied the food quite well. We even had a chance to talk with Tony. Did not look very hairy, and did not reveal why he got this moniker. Will stop in again when we pass by Cortland....

DON'T order the tacos. Priced at 17.16 for two, we expected the tacos to be well-filled, and especially well prepared. The grouper taco was basically a breaded fish filet with a half-made mango salsa slathered on top. I ordered a chili shrimp taco and brisket taco--the shrimp was evidently from a frozen bag and the coleslaw wasn't even made! It was just carrots mixed with cabbage. The brisket was alright, but not seasoned enough and cold. On top of that, the taco shells for both dishes were stale and brittle. If you're going to charge a high price for a dish, at least make it worthwhile!
