The staff was absolutely fantastic and very up beat. Food is always good well. Our waiter Jesse was absolutely amazing helping us with everything needed. All while delivering our food to our car.

With restaurants chains like this you always take a risk on how the food comes to you every time you go because they change who cooks the food sometimes almost weekly but whoever was cooking this day was up to par. Food was great service was good as well and it didn't take all day to get my food plus it was cooked exactly how i ordered it .

Applebee's doesn't usually disappoint, and it didn't. The food was very good. The restaurant was clean (the bathroom could have been a little cleaner though). My service was good but with the exception I ordered a meal with endless fries and was never asked if I wanted more, even when they were all gone and I still had half a sandwich left. The price was very reasonable especially in this time when everything is so high/expensive! I left with a smile and a full belly.

As we all know this is a chain. Thus we will likely need to look at the service and how the food compares. Service is great; the staff if super friendly. Food was on par with other Applebee’s. There are limited options in Cortland, especially if you want a late dinner as this is the only thing open till late.

Food is surprising good, portion is very generous. Way better than the others in the city. Will definitely come back.

Each time I go, the quality of the food gets a little bit worse. It feels like warmed up frozen food. My salad was mostly iceberg lettuce. The service was very nice though and they were quick!

My friends and I were in your establishment this past Wednesday for a birthday dinner. When server, Noah brought plates and silverware, the silverware was dirty. Appetizers came and a hair was sticking out of chicken cassadea. Noah went to manager, and was told to come back to us and say he was sorry. It wasn't the servers job, it should have been the manager that came over to us and apologize. Yes, it was deducted from the bill. But, most restaurants would have done a little more than that. As for Noah he talked so much that he forgot to bring plates and silverware, as we had to remind him. And he called my friend boss lady. We didn't think that was a proper way to talk to a female customer. We come there often, and this was a very bad experience.

Decided to stop in about 4pm today for drinks and appetizers. We sat at the bar and ordered and while sitting there, a female staff about in her 30's came out of the kitchen area and shouted to the staff inside the kitchen " there's just old people here!" Her voice carried. I looked around and yes the customers were all seniors. But guess what! We all heard your snarky remark!

Ordered carside for 6:30pm pickup. Got there and a girl came over to my car and confirmed my name. Then I waited and watched while food was brought out to cars on either side of me. After almost 20 min I called the restaurant and a girl who answered told me they were waiting for one more thing to cook on my order. Another 5 min goes by and a girl brings it out and says my steak had fallen on the floor and they had to make a new one. Okay. I specifically ask if any of my food was sitting there waiting for the new steak and she says no. I get home and shocker, my food is cold. 25 minutes of bad service and mediocre food. I complained on their website and on the corporate site. A manager at the restaurant emailed me to ask me to explain what happened so they can give me a gift card. I did. Never heard back. I'll never go back to this Applebee's and I will be sure to tell everyone I know why.

Well where to begin, we received the incorrect drinks, I had to ask for straws for the kids drinks, we only got 2 plates for our appetizers when there was 5 people, it took 30 minutes for my wife's correct drink to arrive, there was a fly in my beer,( I will say this as a positive, we were not charged for our incorrect drink orders) I had a salad , I asked for oil and vinegar, the waitress brought it out and when I asked for the oil and vinegar was I was advised it was locked away but they had fat free Italian, she did come back a few minutes later with you guessed it oil and vinegar but something was wrong with the vinegar, it was cooagulated and had some gooey substance in the container. When my wife's drink did arrive I showed the vinegar to the person and he apologized. The entire episode left me very uncertain about returning. I understand it is Applebee's, it is not gourmet but at least try to provide decent service and food.

I have a one star because you can’t do zero. Had by far the worst experience at the Cortland Applebee’s today. Went for a early lunch at 11:30am. Started off with getting our appetizer. Went to hand out the plates and 3 of the 4 were extremely dirty and coated in old food. Sent them back and by the time we got other plates our lunch was there. Who wants to eat their appetizer with their main meal? The table was over loaded and extremely annoying. Our server did not offer refills, dessert or even check on us until brining the check. My boyfriend had paper on his wings and the food was all Luke warm. We will not be returning! 75 dollars wasted on subpar food and terrible service.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Applebee’s location. After eating here, I ended up with food poisoning that caused me to miss work and lose pay. When I contacted the restaurant to report it, the manager showed little concern and only offered a $15 gift card, which felt dismissive considering the situation affected my health and finances. I expected much better handling of a food safety issue. This experience has made me very hesitant to return, and I hope corporate takes food safety and customer well-being more seriously.
