Super Essen und Super Koch! Das Essen war richtig gut, genauso wie der Service. Der Koch hat uns den frischen Fisch am Tisch gezeigt und anschließend zubereitet - Ausgezeichnet! Am Ende hat er uns noch Alkoholfreies Bier mit seinem Motorrad geholt, weil das alle war. Gute Showeinlage.

Absolutely gorgeous meal here and wonderful service (friendly, polite staff). The food was so fresh and the wine was delicious. It was very warm and I found myself without a hair tie, so when I asked to borrow one and they didn’t have a spare, they very kindly made a makeshift one with a cable tie! Me and my girls found this place super close to our hotel and we were amazed by this place. It’s so cute and the food service was amazing, we had pizzas, burgers and wine. I personally recommend the Angus Burger, it’s was so deliciosooooo. We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures of the food but I’ll leave you proof of my clean plate after I inhaled the Angus Burger in less than 30 seconds. Thank god I had wine to down my food without choking. I love Dos Cocineros I would sooooo buy a plane ticket from Madrid to Mallorca just for this burger. Los quiero mucho

Having come to Santa Ponca since 2006 in some capacity or another you can bet I’ve tried lots of the popular eateries. Sadly some of the old and greats have gone downhill, but this place… this place has got to be the best by far. It’s a bit out of town, but it’s worth the walk trust me! Family run, the chef and his wife serve you personally. The food is DIVINE, absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. They are happy to recommend. We had the sea bass and the dorada and both were the best fish we’ve ever had. The croquettes are homemade and the best I’ve had. I genuinely can’t sing its praises more. Bring an appetite and don’t rush the experience, because it’s an EXPERIENCE!

We chose to visit Dos Cocineros after seeing a review which included a photo of the seafood pasta. We didn't reserve a table but luckily there was one available, we were made most welcome and we had a lovely meal and drinks. It is a tranquil spot, slightly up from the busy strip, but worth the extra steps for a special meal. The seafood pasta was just as good as it looked, masses of fresh shellfish and squid, so fresh, in a gorgeous pasta sauce. The sangria was so amazing and the chef took time to come and speak to us about their restaurant and family. I'm booking in advance next time so we can experience the seafood paella!

Was soll ich sagen… wir waren heute zum zweiten Mal in dem Restaurant :-) Der Service war excellent und wir wurden perfekt umsorgt. Ein Koch der meiner Meinung nach sein Handwerk in jeder Hinsicht perfekt beherrscht! Absolute Empfehlung ist das Steak und die Tintenfischringe(keine TK-Ware). Alle Speisen sind frisch und selbstgemacht und das schmeckt man. Einfach ein gelungener Restaurant Besuch, genauso wie man ihn sich wünscht :-) ! Das Essen war wirklich fantastisch. Kein Vergleich zu den vielen Touristen-Spots in der Gegend. Die Tapas waren wirklich richtig gut (Wir hatten Pimientos, Calamari und Patatas Bravas, sowie das Brot mit Aioli und Oliven). Der Pulpo war auch der Wahnsinn! Wir gehen nochmal hin :)

​I just stumbled upon this little dream of a restaurant after a day at the beach and was instantly charmed. The owners are such genuinely kind people and they immediately make you feel like you're a long-time regular. I have to give special props to the chef (one of the owners), who, despite having one arm in a sling, delivered a grilled sole (Lenguado a la Plancha) that was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. Can't wait to come back and taste his food when his arm is healed! ;)

Wir waren bereits zweimal hier. Innerhalb einer Woche. :) das sagt schon viel oder? Wir empfehlen unbedingt die Oliven als Starter mit dem Brot und Aioli. Beste Oliven die wir je hatten. Tolle Atmosphäre, viel Grün, man sitzt auf der Terrasse und kann sogar den Sonnenuntergang erahnen. Wir hatten das Rib Eye und Filet als auch den Fisch und Burrata. Alles war hervorragend, und das Grillgemüse ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Ein liebes Pärchen managt das ganze Restaurant zu zweit. Unbedingt einmal im Urlaub hier einplanen essen zu gehen.

Das Essen war wirklich fantastisch. Kein Vergleich zu den vielen Touristen-Spots in der Gegend. Die Tapas waren wirklich richtig gut (Wir hatten Pimientos, Calamari und Patatas Bravas, sowie das Brot mit Aioli und Oliven). Der Pulpo war auch der Wahnsinn! Wir gehen nochmal hin :)

Wir waren bereits zweimal hier. Innerhalb einer Woche. :) das sagt schon viel oder? Wir empfehlen unbedingt die Oliven als Starter mit dem Brot und Aioli. Beste Oliven die wir je hatten. Tolle Atmosphäre, viel Grün, man sitzt auf der Terrasse und kann sogar den Sonnenuntergang erahnen. Wir hatten das Rib Eye und Filet als auch den Fisch und Burrata. Alles war hervorragend, und das Grillgemüse ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Ein liebes Pärchen managt das ganze Restaurant zu zweit. Unbedingt einmal im Urlaub hier einplanen essen zu gehen.

​I just stumbled upon this little dream of a restaurant after a day at the beach and was instantly charmed. The owners are such genuinely kind people and they immediately make you feel like you're a long-time regular. I have to give special props to the chef (one of the owners), who, despite having one arm in a sling, delivered a grilled sole (Lenguado a la Plancha) that was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. Can't wait to come back and taste his food when his arm is healed! ;)

What a wonderful dinning experience! From the atmosphere, the food, all the way down to the chef coming to our table to speak with us. I had the seafood pasta and my friend had the sole. Both were delicious! Everything was so fresh! Highly recommend!!!

Espectacular. Hemos estado hoy y toda la comida está muy rica. Cuidan el producto con el máximo detalle. A diferencia de otros restaurantes, la comida para niños era excelente. La camarera y el cocinero han estado muy atentos y amables con nosotros, sin ser agobiantes. El local es precioso y se agradece un espacio así de bonito en esta zona. Seguro que repetimos! Lo recomendamos. El precio es barato para la calidad que comes.

Why only 4 stars overall, if 5 stars are given on an Individual level? We went to the restaurant on Wednesday and we had a wonderful experience. Food amazing, service charming and interior very nice. So, why only 4 stars? Well, we were so impressed that we booked a table for Saturday again the same evening. Saturday came and we stood in front of a closed restaurant with only a hastily written sign saying open again on Monday. Not impressed to say the least. That took away some if the good will from Wednesday as the day off is Sunday as we were told. So, we hope there is no family issues which caused this situation but long term this can cost you customer`s business and trust. Nevertheless, worth a visit (if open)...

I thought I would try this new restaurant not far from where I live. Being new obviously the decor and surroundings are pristine and it has been refurbished to an extremely high standard. Upon arrival I was the only person in the restaurant and of course was served straight away with a drink at the bar. A beautifully made whiskey sour. I decided to have the ribeye steak for my main course, proceedingthis was bread and Alió. The bread was very fresh and the alió extremely tasty. The waitress who attended to me was very attentive and helpful. My main course duly arrived and was cooked to perfection, I asked for rare and the steak was cooked wonderfully. Although saying this I was rather disappointed as the steak was only accompanied by potatoes. Although they were cooked once again to perfection, I would’ve expected some sort of vegetable to accompany the potatoes. I had two glasses of red wine 1 from mallorca, and the other was a more full bodied Spanish mainland red. This was followed by an espresso coffee and a glass of a very tasty straight whiskey, unfortunately I did not get the name. Although I completely enjoyed the meal and was extremely satisfied, not only with the service as the chef also came out and askedhow my meal was, but I was extremely satisfied at the way the meal was cooked and presented. This was slightly tempered when I received the bill the potatoes were an extra at €3.50 although this isn’t expensive I would’ve thought they would’ve been included in the price of the main meal as a whole. This slightly soured my experience as I’ve never experienced this in a restaurant before. I’ve only awarded three stars for atmosphere as it was extremely hard to judge because I was the only patron for at least 45 minutes but a few more tables did arrive as I was finishing my meal. The music in the background set the tone of a chilled but modern atmosphere. I would recommend you eating at this restaurant as you would not be disappointed with the service or the food. But I would like to point out to the owners, that people would expect firstly more vegetables to accompany their main course And for those to be included in the price on the menu. Total cost €68 this for the following X1 whiskey sour X1 portion of bread and Alioli X1 rib eye steak X1 portion of boiled potatoes X2 glasses of red wine X1 espresso coffee X1 glass of whiskey

We both had a steak. Neither were cooked as we had asked but they were nice. Service was pretty slow but its just a husband and wife team who were lovely. Unfair to give them 3 stars so 4 it is.

There could be a long wait as we had quite a wait to be served once we had ordered, but the chef did apologize and the food was nice, we found it a bit expensive but enjoyed the food.

We had dinner early so there was not many customers so it’s difficult to judge the atmosphere but they did have this weird AI music playlist in the background. Personally I didn’t like that. I had a whole fish that comes with some vegetables. The “rustic potatoes” were extra. The fish was cooked well with lots of herbs and garlic - flavoursome but not a lot of meat and was left wishing I had more sides. We also had tapas which included padron peppers, calamari and croquettes. They weren’t bad but also not as good as other restaurants. We shared a crème Catalana (crème brûlée). It was all just okay.

We chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration based on previous glowing reviews, but sadly, our experience was far from what we expected. The service was friendly but noticeably slow and a little pushy. There were only two other tables occupied (one of 2 and one of 4, including ours), yet it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive. We had ordered four steaks medium rare. Unfortunately, one arrived well done and another very well done. At that point, we tried to make the best of it, as waiting any longer didn’t feel like an option. As the only woman in the group, I was surprised when the waitress placed in front of me a steak that was almost half the size of the others. I even placed it beside another plate to photograph the difference. To make matters worse, it wasn’t even the correct order—I had asked for steak with both grilled vegetables and fries, but was given the vegetables-only plate. The sides themselves (fries and vegetables) were actually delicious, but the steak was overcooked, tough, and completely lacking in flavor. Considering the cost—€31.95 for a steak (without garnish), plus €6.95 each for fries, vegetables, or salad, and even €2.95 for a basic sauce like ketchup—we expected much higher quality. No one checked in during the meal, and by the time the waitress came to clear the plates, my husband and friends had already finished. I quietly mentioned that my steak was inedible. To her credit, she did offer a dessert or drink as compensation, and when I declined, she agreed to remove my meal from the bill. While that gesture was appreciated, the overall experience was very disappointing—especially for a special occasion. My husband had chosen this restaurant carefully, and unfortunately, the slow service, poorly cooked steaks, and the lack of care in both plating and order accuracy left us wishing we’d gone elsewhere.

We didn’t asked for some starters. We ate them thinking that were on the house, but still got charged. We ordered different pasta dishes, and burgers. Pasta was extremely overcooked, and burger nothing special, with soggy bread. Nothing was justified by the high price. Waitress interrupted our conversations way too many times asking the same questions if we wanted more beers, even though we answered negatively multiple times before. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und das Ambiente war sehr ansprechend. Die Karte klein gehalten, was zunächst nichts Negatives ist. Wir mussten aber leider feststellen, dass die Preise überteuert sind und die Qualität und der Geschmack zu wünschen übrig lässt.

La comida… Lo mejor los nachos con guacamole. Las gambas al ajillo bastante sosas y de los espaguetis fruto di mare esperaba más, ni el calamar ni los mejillones estaban limpios… además que la cantidad de espaguetis me pareció escasa para los 23€ que valía. La verdad que lo mejor fué el ambiente que era tranquilo y relajante. Ni lo recomiendo ni volvería otra vez, precios nada de acorde con lo que ofrecen.

Das Essen ist grundsätzlich sehr lecker, bei den Preisen waren wir am Ende sehr überrascht. Für das Essen wurde das doppelte berechnet. Auf der Karte war dies nicht ersichtlich.

I live in Maiorca I have a season house here. Some friends told me to do not go to eat to this restaurant , but I went anyway because I am like that , I have to try before to say if it is good or not. They told me that the chef /owner when he is not drunk and when does not go the police in His restaurant, ( they visit them often and soon I will send them again for many people local complain) can cooks enough good. I never paid such an expensive bill ever ! There is no service, only his wife that try to Take advantage from People , adding in the bill things never asked and serving always wine , making fake she offers . But after you must pay her! And you have to pay like you are eating to a Michelin star restaurant . I red other comments like he is a seller of shoes , he is not a chef ,and everybody confirm me that . I will not let it pass like that, next time I will send some friends and I will do my best to proof from more people that they play smart and the bill grow up that we not even know. In Spain you must pay before to leave a place but we informed already about what happened. I was stupid , I had to listen my friends to do not go. Only with tourists you can work and not even with them .

Wochen vor Silvester habe ich online eine Tischreservierung vorgenommen. Termin wurde bestätigt. Erinnerung am 31.12 folgte. Wir freuten uns auf einen tollen Abend mit gutem Essen. Als wie zur gebuchten Zeit aufschlagen, dachte ich, ich fall um. ZU! Es war unglaublich schwierig an solch einem Abend anderweitig unterzukommen. Sowas darf nicht passieren. Da muss doch mal jemand solche Tage vorab checken und informieren. Als am nächsten Tag die übliche Abfrage kam "wie uns der Abend gefallen hat"....nun ja. Der Abend war schön, aber in einem anderen Lokal.
