Saturday between 9-10am very quiet, parking is tight but if you’re willing to walk you can park in certain residential areas. The young women taking the orders was super chipper and had recommendations for my first time. I loved the French toast. The outdoor seating area is small but adorable. Seems like the perfect local spot to grab a coffee and lunch to read or catch up with a small group or one on one. Definitely will be back as I want to try the biscuits and gravy and the rest of the lunch menu!

It was my boyfriend and my first time here and everything was awesome! Grace was behind the counter interacting with the customers and Juan was the master behind the grill. The food was incredible and you get a lot of bang for your buck here. The atmosphere was beautiful inside and out, very wholesome and homey, and the music was a very nice touch. Grace had such amazing service though as she was so nice, offered us some extra goodies on the house simply because they could not be sold and would go to waste, and even drew a little chicken character on my smoothie and my boyfriends coffee lid. She was very accommodating to any requests and very friendly and patient. All the stuff you see in the photo we got for $55, not including tip. Overall, amazing brunch spot and we will for sure be back.

I stopped by on Christmas Eve hoping to purchase a cinnamon roll. Unaware that the bakery was closed, silly me, I parked and walked up to the entrance. Noticing a car parked in front and the place being closed, I turned back to return to my car. A woman asked if I needed anything. I explained that I realized they were closed, but she asked what I had been hoping to get. When I mentioned a cinnamon roll, she informed me that she was the owner and she would grab one, and when I offered to pay she kindly declined. She returned shortly after with two cinnamon rolls, though I asked for one and wished me a Merry Christmas. Her generosity was incredibly thoughtful and truly made my day. I am so grateful! I couldn’t believe I met the face behind the very place I love! I used to visit this bakery regularly when I lived in Costa Mesa, and it remains one of my favorite spots. It is a charming bakery with exceptional food. I especially love sitting in the garden—both the front and back are beautiful. From the coffee to the baked goods, everything is consistently excellent.

I’ve been looking for a little nook of a coffee shop to work/study at and I stumbled across this place. It’s adorable and delicious. Not busy since I came by after lunch mid week. I bet it’s hopping on the weekend! Apple crisp cheesecake for tax & a cappuccino in a “choose your own mug for here”. Also got a brownie to go. EVERYTHING looked delicious.

This place is so cute and relaxing. Their pastries are so good, and it's hard to choose what to get. We got the sticky bun and coffee cake. For breakfast, we had the Chilaquiles and OMG they were so flavorful. The service is great and the ladies are so friendly. We were also lucky to have an employee perform for everyone while we were there, making it a relaxing, peaceful experience.

Delicious food, sweet, relaxed atmosphere, ideal for small groups and couples. The server was kind and gave us great recommendations. We had hot chocolate, the spinach scramble, the cheddar chive biscuit, and the BLTA. It was all outdoor seating, but it was surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants. Recommend!

Food is very "homemade" feeling. Cheddar biscuit was exactly what I was looking for. Would return to try some of their other baked goods / pastries. I wished the biscuit sandwich had some sort of sauce on it. Chipotle mayo or honey hot sauce would be good.

They have the real chilaquiles, not just chips with salsa. Love the pastries!

My husband and I stopped by for lunch on a whim one day and we are so glad that we did! The place smells like buttery pastries and the staff is so friendly. You order at the counter and they have outdoor seating on the front patio and in the charming back garden. There is also a small parking lot in the back. I had the BLT + avocado sandwich which was amazing. It is served on toasted buttery sourdough bread, with thick chewy bacon slabs and fresh avocado slices. The sandwich is a generous size, more like 2 sandwiches in one. I took half of mine home. It comes with a pickle spear & potato salad which were both delicious. 5/5 stars, would highly recommend a visit!

A delightful, quiet restorative space with a country vibe. If you want to sit and take a break from your travels while enjoying a simple tasty meal prepared with care, I recommend this place.

What a fantastic setting, and the food is terrific. Biscuits and gravy served traditionally with eggs right on top, love it! I cleaned the entire plate. Wife's croissant was delicious. The big, fresh pieces of ham are outstanding. The plants shield you from the close street and keep a quaint feeling. We'll be back for sure. Counter person was very friendly and even gave us a complimentary cinnamon role after learning it was our first time. What a "sweet" gesture. Pun intended.

After a long walk in the morning, my boyfriend and I found this coffee place on a whim. I enjoyed the lavender honey iced cafe and croissant I ordered. It was the first cafe in the area to ask me if I wanted my croissant warmed up which I appreciated. There's also a lovely garden in the back that we took advantage of for a few minutes. The staff are friendly and there's a small parking lot available in the back. Well worth a visit.

YUMMMMY YUMMMMY YUMMMMY Brioche French Toast, pull apart cinnamon roll, so many sweet & delicious food items to select! Staff was so nice! Very helpful. It would have been easy to leave all my money there because everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious! If it hadn't been raining, we could have sat outside in the pretty garden.

Everyone loves to find that quaint, out of the way restaurant that serves good food, drinks and dessert. This place delivers in spades. We had the quiche combo and Crockers special. Food was cooked to order and delivered quickly. We took the pumpkin pecan cake to go. As Arnold famously said, “I’ll be back!” 🥰

What a surprise and gem to find this place! While visiting the area, I searched for a good & unique breakfast place. With delicious cheddar chive biscuits listed as a highlight, I was immediately drawn in. Expecting it to be in the usual strip mall, I drove past it a couple times. It’s an old home converted to a restaurant, nestled in a neighborhood with lovely garden in front. The parking lot is in back. This place has it all - charm, quaint, expansive menu choices, and large assortment of homemade baked goods. The portions are generous and made in house by their baker. The spinach omelette was delicious, the biscuits oh my so yum, and lavender late’ completed my meal. The biscuit was amazing; not the usual frozen small biscuit served st other eateries. What a delectable treat that I don’t do often, but always so happily surprised to find a place that has it all. And the bonus was personable & good customer service. ! look forward to returning with others very soon! Thank you!!!

Sunday morning breakfast was excellent. It was my first visit, and Bob introduced me to this charming spot. The Hearty Oats and English Breakfast tea were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed the period music.

. I love the outdoor garden setting is lovey. It reminded me of Alcove cafe in Los Angeles, in the smaller version though, and in Del Mar, there is a cute outdoor cafe shop too My friend ordered Chilaquiles. They were good however chilaquiles were swimming in salsa. It made them mushy/soggy where it ruined the texture of the dish for my friend. Maybe using slightly less sauce so they stay a bit crisp. The outdoor setting is lovely however the music was too loud for a moring breakfast.

A peaceful little spot with tasty treats and food. I rate it 5 star for what it is. It’s like going to a friend’s house and I wish I had friends that cooked like this! Very quaint and in the middle of downtown CM craziness. Just please don’t tell anyone. We need to keep this a secret 🫢

DO NOT ORDER THE CHILAQUILES THEY WERE 99% CHILI 1% QUILES I should have known to not order chilaquiles from white people. What was a thinking. We ate the very small amount of actual real food and just threw away the bowl full of chili. This place is super cute and would be great for a date, just do not order the chilaquiles.

The patio is really cute and to be honest, it was the reason I picked it up asking with the 4 8 rating. We wanted to try a new place. While the patio was really a really lovely green little jungle, the food and mocha were a disappointment. Neither my food or my friends food were a hit. It was really "blah". We also had a pastry which we ended up leaving after just a taste of it It was overall an expensive $75 brunch that has barely any taste and felt really heavy on our stomachs. We will not be going back.
