Tacos El Compita Costa Mesa Reviews
I’ve eaten at a ton of taquerias and taco trucks and El Compita is tops! Quality food, fair prices, super friendly owners, flavorful salsas. Meat isn’t super fatty and cheap tasting. Got asada, al pastor, and cecina tacos and an asada burrito. All great. Definitely a place to return to.
Great tacos, excellent service, friendly staff. Delicious food. I recommend you eat here, best spot in this area
El Compita is an establishment of the finest quality. Not only are the fine taco artisans friendly and full of enthusiasm but they are bilingual as well. This place has the finest taco truck playlist in all the land, it really elevates the experience. With most tacos being $1.50 each it caters to the proletariat working man in a classic display of solidarity. The tacos are beautiful and portioned with the utmost respect for my desire for Mexican meat in my mouth. The salsas are also really good.

I am a very picky, and I love their food! I get from then beef tongue all the time they are very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place! This taco truck is the one that I've mostly went to when I feel like tacos
Great tacos and the people working there are so kind. Only thing is to call in advance to make sure that they are there because they occasionally are not at that location. Otherwise, the tacos and service is great.
Best tacos in the area! Only real and authentic taco truck in Costa Mesa! The people here are nice and really care for their customers. They make an effort to buy great quality products for their foods and have a large variety to offer from: Tacos, tortas, sopes, huaraches, muletas, elotes, tostilocos, chicharrónes, y más! Worth taking a trip here, check it out!!
Awesome tacos! Very fresh ingredients. They might not be at the spot where Google Maps lists them, but they will be close. They were at 2980 McClintock Way, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 when I visited them.
Food's amazing. I can't recommend the carnitas or chorizo (or choriqueso) enough. I just found this place last week and I've been back 4 times already. Prices are fair and the size of the tortas are huge. These people are super friendly. I will definitely be back several times next week
Amazing owners and hella good food 🙏🙏
Best Mexican street tacos in Newport Beach Highly recommend the carne asada and horchata
I'm a picky eater and like eating food prepared by the proprietar. No one cares more about customer experience than the owner: food quality, reasonable price and serving size, flavor, freshness, texture, and cleanliness. The owner and his wife excelled in all the above expectations and one more unexpected plus. Unlike many other taco trucks, they have barely raised prices over the past couple of years. I mentioned this while waiting for my order, and she shared that they decided to keep prices down for their customers because so many are struggling financially in this failing economy. Go out of your way if you can to support this taco truck. We need more good small businesses like this who care about their customers. And best of all, you will get amazing food !
These tacos were AMAZING! Tacos El Compita was a fantastic welcome to California for my mom, sister, and I. We’ve never been here before, and not only was the food fresh and nourishing, but the people were so friendly and kind, and we loved speaking with them in English and Spanish. Thanks Tacos El Compita for making us feel welcome and at home. We’ll be going back, and if you haven’t gone, you should go!
The tacos here are delicious!! The tortas and burritos are always full and worth the money unlike some places that skim on the meat. Here they don't!! The burritos are huge!! I'd say roughly about a pound or more! Worth it, I couldn't finish one all by myself!! The people here are really nice and you can tell they care about giving you quality food! They'll gladly answer any questions you have about the food!
These guys have amazing tacos, at amazing prices! Stop by if your going down baker street in Costa Mesa, they're on Logan St. Almost all day! Please Help him and his family get more business, that way he can finally get a restaurant of his own! He really loves to cook!

Food truck was great! I was there because my son was graduating and he asked me what I wanted for lunch. They had lingua and other meats for street tacos. I loved the lingua which you can't find in most restaurants and my son said his other meat tacos were great.

Overpriced yet average-tasting tacos! Went on Taco Tuesday but ended up paying almost $45 for 10 tacos and a drink… We at least hoped that they tasted amazing, but they were a let down. The meat was soggy and drenched with oil. Not a lot of flavor overall. As an avid taco lover, I was really disappointed with how bland the food was.

This place it sucks, first they charge me 1$ for a taco for 3$, just because I’m paying with Apple pay, That mean they charge Extra 35% just for one Taco. Beside that, they are not professional at all, and their food are very cold and bad. And when asked them why you are charging me 1$ plus they said that’s is the law.

Was not at Google location. I wasted my lunch break time, drove over five miles, and gasoline. I was really looking forward to them a first time.
$15 for 95% rice in your burrito — a shame for OC Mexican Food. - Hit up Mariscos El Yaqui or anything along the DT Santa Ana area will probably fare better.
I drove all the way here and they’re not here while it’s open on google.

So disappointed. I've came to this location a few times and it looks like they no longer come here.
