At Fermentation Farm, we're thrilled to share our passion for innovative cuisine with you. Nestled in Costa Mesa, our restaurant offers a unique dining experience that's as much about nourishment as it is about flavor. Our chefs have crafted a menu that showcases the art of fermentation, with dishes like our signature fermented mango drink, which has won rave reviews from our customers. We're proud to serve a farm-to-table experience in an atmosphere that's both natural and inviting, where excellent service meets warm hospitality.
Fermentation Farm is praised for its unique, nutritious offerings and excellent service. Customers rave about the delicious mango drink. Some find the chili's cumin flavor too strong, but the beef broth is a favorite, especially when feeling unwell.
Tip: The beef broth is a favorite when feeling sick.

Amazing spot, you can order anything on the menu and be “eating clean.” No seed oils, raw cheese, grass fed beef, and reasonable prices, given the quality of the ingredients- what more could you ask for? Not to mention the complimentary reverse-osmosis water to wash down your food with. They’re also a grocery, and sell lots of high quality meats, cheeses, and too much other stuff to mention. This spot is definitely a staple for me in OC, and frankly the kind of place I had expected to see more of in health/image-conscious OC.
This place is really interesting with a broad menu. There are so many kombucha flavors and unique dishes to choose from. Everything is high quality and fresh and I appreciate that they give you an estimated wait time for the food to be prepared. Vegan and vegetarian accommodations can be easily made - the staff were knowledgable of the menu items to make modifications as needed. I recommend checking out their frozen food section for easy make-at-home items as well.
Deliciously local, farm to table eatery with a marketplace as well. It’s amazing how they source their food and so they’re best to provide organic ingredients. We had the sourdough pancakes with blueberries, vegan chili, and two slices of homemade sourdough with grass fed butter and seasonal fig jam, paired with fresh kombucha on tap- a mix of mango and guava. Yummmm
I finally made it ! I’ve been wanting to try tacos Tuesday’s and I was very glad I did. I ordered everything in the menu and it was all good… the winners for me were the citrus chicken and sweet potato tacos!! Those were perfectly balanced with flavor and texture. It’s been a long time since I had a meal that energized me and though I ate a ton of calories I didn’t feel stuffed ! Gotta try it
You will find all kinds of tasty foods and beverages here. They have a full menu for dine-in or take out. Plus, there is an incredible variety of fresh and packaged health foods that may change your life. This place is a gem for everyone. From kombucha and sauerkraut to onion soup and chili. I've never seen anything like it.
Great tasting food, great ingredients. You feel good when you leave “Not bloated.”
My husband and I had lunch here and the food was really good. He got the beef chili and I got the wild caught tuna sandwich on gluten free bread. It was all very filling and I could tell the tuna was fresh because it didn't have that "fishy" smell. Loved the avocado, cucumber and fresh greens in the sandwich too. Will definitely go back!
Quality food you can truly enjoy! Flavors! Everything was on point! Vegan Chilli was flavorful!!! Lentil soup was wholesome! BEST Tuna Melt Ever!!!!!! Grilled to perfection! Tuna was chunky, high quality! The cheese, PERFECT! Not too little, not too much! Just right! My only critique: The soup and Chilli could’ve been warmer. The lentil soup could’ve had more lentils. That’s it. EVERYTHING was the Bomb!!!!
Clean and delicious food! We went for breakfast. I got the farmers plate. No seed oils. No junk. Just clean and high quality ingredients.
Unique storefront with fresh kombucha, SCOBIs for the DIYers, as well as sourdough starters and much more. Nice menu of fresh sit-down food. Try the chili!
Yummm!! I loved the sauerkraut grilled cheese. I choose the garlic sauerkraut, highly recommend. They also offer plain and spicy. The bread had a nice crunch on the outside and a soft inside. Paired with their vegan tomato soup. The bread crumbs were so crunchy and flavorful! Drink: elderberry kombucha on tap. Will be back 😊 @sinfull_sweets
I went here specifically for their Sourdough Starter. Wife likes to bake bread. I had no clue all the different food items that would be there and we are definitely headed back soon for lunch! Check them out if you are in the area and tell them Kleinpell Team Realty sent you.
Been coming here since they opened their doors. It's all great...especially the pickled eggs, beets, yogurt and bacon (grass fed). Good variety of kombucha with wonderful flavor combinations. And their Master Tonic is crazy good and so good for you. And they offer classes so you can learn how to make healthy fermented foods at home. Cannot praise this place enough. I love the Fermentation Farm
If you're looking for healthier food this is a perfect place. Unique food items that make great gifts too.
If knowing what you put into your body is healthy and good, this is the place for you. They make all their own foods that are stocked with probiotics. And the biggest thing that sticks out is the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. they will encourage you to sample many of the products. My favorite is the honey yogurt that is made from coconut milk. You have got to try this place !!
I love this place! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and their kombucha on tap is amazing! Bone broth bar always has yummy treats to add to the broth and everything that they use they sell.
Absolutely love this place. Small farm shopping. Unique and creative menu that is gut healthy and flavorful. Fresh kombucha and June! Attended their bone broth class. Had a blast!
Fermentation farm has the best bone broth ever. Full of flavor and collagen/gelatin. My usual purchases include garlic sour kraut, kimchi, kefir pops and bone broth.
Absolutely love Ferm Farm. We have been getting our eggs here since i was pregnant with my first babe 6 years ago! The quality of all their products are above and beyond! They are super helpful and even offer fermentation classes, my husband loved the sour dough class! We love their on tap Kombucha and the kids are obsessed with their ranch direct bacon! We also love all the fermented veggies and yogurts! The new soup and bone broth bar are a yummy addition!
Great kombucha on tap, I will definitely be back. They also have a nice selection of fresh food items like raw butter, eggs, meat and in-house bone broth.
Our family uses the fermented master tonic on a regular basis. Amazing! Not to mention the other goodies we always find, like kombucha and fermented soups, ginger carrots, etc.
Wow, what a store. It's a specialty market that carries all organic EVERYTHING. And specializes in fermented products that provide many/most of the good bacteria you need for a healthy gut. And they also carry teas, soaps, spices, organic grass-fed meats and DUCK eggs! Everything is grown or small-batch made on their own farm or in their kitchen, which is mind-blowing. I wouldn't ever have thought of putting sauerkraut on a grilled cheese sandwich. Now it's the only way I want to eat one. My husband is obsessed with their grilled tuna melt. And their grass-fed beef chili is like the best chili ever. We used to go to Wendy's for a quick, low-cal, high protein fix. Now it's got to be FF - end of discussion. The kefir is so good and fresh tasting. And when you compare the label ingredients to even the "good" stores, like TJ's and Spxxxts, you won't buy it anywhere else. Sold American!
Their grilled cheese, Tomato soup and curried veggies are so good. I was bummed that they stopped serving lentil soup in restaurant since my kid really liked it but you can still by it frozen and heat up at home.
Love this place! Never knew I lOVED saurkraut until I tried FF kraut. I only tried the Spicy Cilantro Kraut and the House Kraut. They raised the bar pretty high..after you try their kraut you won't be able to eat any other brand! They have so many other great stuff! Tumeric kimchi, vegan Daikin kimchi, jicama jalapeños, and so much more! They also have housematde kombucha and fermented soda! I'll definitely be back! I have about dozen glass jars from this place..unfortunately they no longer take the jars back but it's useful jars for upcycling.
I’ve been coming here for years for the kamboocha on tap. They always have a great selection of both kamboocha and Jun. I recently ordered the roasted brassicas from the restaurant and it exceeded my expectations. Great local place!
Unique place. Very knowledgeable staff. I am very glad they are in Orange County. Great kombucha. Very good sourdough bread (though expensive). This place has products with all types of fermentation except natto (Koji fermentation).
We love it here. Morning chili and breakfast burritos.
I am obsessed with this place and wish I had something like this close to home. The staff is very personable, the quality of the food is unmatched and the variety of the food/store is incredible. My kudos to the owner for investing in such an amazing restaurant/store that cares about what we (the customers), consume and serves high quality organic food. Keep up the good work!
I LOVE this place! Very clean and modern with a lot of healthy choices! I always stock up on the bone broth, master tonic, elderberry syrup, Manuka honey, house made chili, lentils, fermented beets, kimchi, sauerkraut, and they carry the best Dates! I also always get their jugs of Kombucha that you can bring back to refill. (I recommend the black currant kombucha) I am also obsessed with their Brekkie Sando breakfast sandwich! I love the new location in San Juan Capistrano. It’s a really cool family friendly area with all new stores and restaurants! You can even eat outside.Xoxo
Everything we have tried at FF has been amazing! I'm definitely planning to recreate the sauerkraut grilled sandwich when we fly back home! I wish this place would open other locations in different states. We have lots of California transplants in TX and one of them tauted about FF to me even before we knew that we would ever come out to Cali again. (I'm more of an east coast gal). The staff @ FF was very helpful as well. I just wish they had a better selection with their souvenirs. And, please offer a sampler platter of your pickled veggies as part of your menu for a small fee. We were curious about some of the items but only asked for the free sample of only one of the items. Thanks!
Love this place so much! I’ve been a regular for over a year now and will drive 30 min just to come here. I rarely eat out or buy prepared foods, because most of it is just full of junk and cooked with inflammatory seed oils and low quality ingredients. Fermentation Farm is one of the very few places where I feel comfortable eating out, knowing that the food is healthy and nourishing made with great ingredients. If you’re into the whole Weston A Price, Ray Peat, Paleo, etc. philosophy, then you will absolutely love this place! Either way you will probably love it and there are many great resources to learn more - classes and books. The employees are really friendly and passionate about health as well. Coming here was a big part of my transition from being a vegan for four years 😝introducing back high quality animal foods one thing at a time while supporting my gut health changed my life for the better! However, if you prefer plant based still there are so many options for that too Everything tastes amazing and there are so many cool things available. We always stock up our fridge with fermented foods, condiments, raw dairy and broths from here.
i found this place on seed oil scout. delicious breakfast! they use amazing ingredients, that are clean, grass fed, pasture raised. their breakfast chili & their breakfast taco filled us up & had lots of protein. a must go!
If you want to improve your health dramatically you'll shop at the fermentation Farm. They have duck eggs that will blow your mind they are so beautiful tasty full of so much more health than chicken eggs. I will never eat another chicken egg. One jar of their three different types of beets will improve your life more than a life supply of multivitamins. Unique items you will never find any of the other typical grocery stores. Fermentation Farm is a shinning jewel in Southern California. But watch out it's more addicting than caffeine you'll find yourself going there for the rest of your life.
Vegan GF chili, yum! GF bread very good. I've had other vegan and GF soups and dishes here and have enjoyed them very much. Reasonable prices on good amount of the menu. Guava kombucha is excellent. They let you try all flavors before choosing. These items can be quite pricey, but worth it to those who understand the value. Lots of healthy things in the freezer and on the shelves too.
Excellent source of fermented foods, raw milk and eggs plus a whole lot more. And it is near the Water Brewery.
Fermentation Farm is a small, health food restaurant and grocery store where one can purchase organic food, and things that are good for your digestion. They have supplements, eggs, bone broth, eggs organic sourdough bread - as well as snacks. They have every flavor kombucha under the sun. A good friend had stomach issues after taking antibiotics. Fermentation Farm had sour kraut that healed the problem. The staff is so friendly. Lenny is my favorite person on staff. I also appreciate, Delaney, Stephanie, Adriana, Sam and Mishael. Today Mishael waited on me, and I felt like I was at the five-star restaurant. He waited on me hand and foot and made sure everything was ok. Wow, thank you to the owners and the whole Fermentation Farm team! You are appreciated in this community and beyond!
I do weekly groceries here and the best custom stuff that you can’t get anywhere else! No seed oils in the kitchen and healthy restaurant too! This place is my fav in OC!
I was absolutely blown away by the quality of this store and all it homes. Their food will lift your spirit, if you are reading this, do yourself a favor and try their Bruschetta. The staff has magic to them, they greeted me with enthusiastic smiles, and were eager to help me with everything I needed. Lucas one member of the staff, made this the best experience possible for me. He has been working there for 2 weeks and deserves all the praise for this review!
Great people work here and give excellent service and advice. Food is fantastic and so many options. I wanted everything. Settled on the sprouted spot pea and ham soup. Loved it. Will be back frequently
Nothing like hot bone broth for a sick friend. So soothing and delicious. Love the yogurt too. Had the sweet potato soup this time, and.. yummy. Their selection of pantry items has grown. Go check it out. The customer service is friendly and helpful.
LOVE this place. Fermented food is so good for you and they seem to do it all just right. Their veggies are all really tasty and their yogurt is great and super alive. You can also get raw kefir (try the golden!) and raw milk and eggs from other vendors. The shop is cute and spotless and the staff are warm and welcoming. We try to eat meals here as much as possible! Update: they are still killing it! Tho I do like to get their kombucha that's been in a bottle for a bit and they didn't have those on the shelf today. But I think their tuna melt got better as if that was even possible 😵❤️🙏
Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options! My favorites are the sauerkraut grilled sandwich, mushroom rice ramen, and the beet salad. Honestly I've tried just about every vegetarian option on the menu and have enjoyed every meal! The iced dandy blend drink is a great coffee alternative and love the way it makes me feel!
The quality of the food and products is exceptional! You can’t go wrong with anything you chose to purchase. I bought the grass fed and grass finished beef and liver blend to make a veggies soup and add in the oatmeal/beef/liver blended albóndigas(meatballs) and man was it a delicious fav with my dinner guests. So high in nutrients and rich in flavor. The Kam bucha is always a fav well, go see for yourself. Your body will be grateful you did.
Saw it, didn't go in. 5 stars are for its history. I remember when it was owned by some guy named Al and was called the owl liquor store.
I was referred here by Niyaz Pirani, owner of Knife & Spork Public Relations. I ordered the chili. The food is sooo good. Definitely coming back. Sweet and a tad spicy, but definitely best chili I have ayad in a long time!
The service was very friendly and helpful 👍🏼
It was my first time in & workers were so friendly & knowledgeable! I had the beet salad & fresh JUN juice! So good! I will be back to try chili & bone broth that everyone raved about
If your in to health and like to eat this place is worth a try. They have hot and cold homemade foods and soups, yogurts, sauces, herbs , picked eggs, and bone broths that are very good for you and healthy for your GUT. A cool thing to is they have classes on how to make all the stuff. A plus is the staff is SUPER COOL! Give a go....its worth the adventure!
I highly recommend this place if you want healthy fresh food and other fresh made items to use at home. Beltran is an excellent communicator and very knowledgeable employee at the front
I love this little gem, the variety of responsible sourced items and fermented foods, condiments, locally grown, etc. Are amazing. They now offer grab & go meals and chili bar, they still sample kombucha flavors per request and have seasonal flavors to keep things interesting, though mango is one of my favorites. The ginger carrots and turmeric kimchi are also fantastic, I like to add the kimchi to my rice bowls and pair well next to marinated meat or veggies, the ginger carrots I'm going to start adding to my smoothies but right now I've been eating as is. I am dying to go back and try the fermented red curry sauce & pistachio pestos as well as the vanilla bean paste.
We love this place! We don’t live in the area, but when we pass through, we stop by! We love their kombucha and love the name too “food culture!” Great marketing! Today we got the sourdough pizza was SO GOOD! My daughter just loved it! My son loved the ramen. Ordered it twice! And my daughter enjoyed her tacos! I liked the coconut curry noodle soup! Keep in mind, with clean food everything taste more clean. It’s so wonderful to have people who care enough about nutrition and cleanliness open and run a joint like this. We love their little shopping area too, always fun goodies to indulge in! Keep it up, you guys!!!!
Amazing stuff, good and healthy. You can grab some good quality food to eat, along with all other stuff. Sourdough is amazing, and all other fermented items.
I have driven by this cute little place so many times and always wanted to stop….SO glad I finally did!! ❤️ We sampled the fresh Kombucha and Jun that they have on tap and loved the passion fruit and dragonfruit, respectively. We then saw the Cold Brew on nitro and decided to get all three. The Seasonal salad was fresh, tasty and nutrient dense. I loved my wild line-caught tuna sandwich. Just the right amount of crunch from the cucumber and lettuce and creaminess from the avocado 🥑! House made pickles, sauerkraut, kimchi and several other tempting items are available to take away.
I’m from Colorado, we love to travel to California at least three times a year and we always come here because it’s so good. Highly recommend everything so fresh and clean.
I've always passed by this place whenver I make my monthly visit to Nudae and Zero waste shops, but never went in til recently. This is more like a cafe with a little grocery store. They had some specialty foods items that are not found in regular stores. As someone who is more health conscious and on a specific diet, I definitely recognize a lot of the items in the fridges. As for the cafe, I only ordered the chili with sourdough. It was simple but so delicious! I would definitely come back again to try other items. There's plenty of parking but can get packed during the weekend. It's in a plaza with other businesses around.
Dr. Mason is a spectacular unique must try drink. Happy sippings!
This is a SOLID spot for some good, healthy, and organic food! Everything is cooked in cast iron skillets (From what I can see in the kitchen), the food comes out very quickly, the staff is always very sweet and welcoming. There is one blonde waitress that is very sweet every time and is always on top of everything. Like a one man show and she is killer! The sourdough sandwiches, especially with sauerkraut are our favorites! Pancakes weren't bad, but not my favorite. The tacos are awesome as well! Just solid spot to go to for some good and actually HEALTHY food!
The tuna melt, does just that, melts, in my mouth! And the potatoes. Fml. Not sure why it took me nearly 3.5 years to get to Fermentation Farm when I moved back here from LA. Now it’s a staple and regular rotation. The tacos are bomb as well.
This place is LEGENDARY! The best, most delicious AND healthy? Yes to all 3. 10 homemade kombucha’s on tap plus so many food options make Ferm Farm Fun!
I came from the Inland Empire heading to Newport for the day and thought I would try Fermentation Farm while I was out here. I had been following on IG and took the suggestions of others and tried the: Beet Salad (super delicious) Grass fed beef chili (perfection) Sauerkraut grilled cheese (heaven incarnated) Guava Kombucha (so tasty) My husband and daughter agree… two enthusiastic thumbs up or five stars ☝🏻 we will definitely be back.
Loc gave me the best customer service I have ever had. This place is lucky to have him. They were closing but he was extremely friendly and greeted every customer that came in with enthusiasm! He showed that he was there to help and offered samples. He told his team he would take out the trash so that they didnt have to and overall just did everything right as a leader. Loc is going to do great things. Glad he works at my local Fermentation Farms it has quickly become my go to place!
Everything here tastes great and is so nutritious. I haven't ordered one thing that I didn't like. What makes this place stand out is the quality of the food. They use real ingredients so you dont have to worry about what you're consuming. I wish restaurants and other markets would follow suit. Also, they sell meat from buy ranch direct and eggs. Also, don't miss out on their turmeric kimchi.
So thankful for this place!! Real, organic clean foods that are good for your overall health and gut and taste amazing too! I love the tuna salad, sourdough pancakes on the weekends and the chili! Freshest bone broth around. Please open another location in Newport Beach :)
The food here is incredible! They use high quality and organic ingredients, and have lots of fermented options.
Fermentation Farm in Newport Beach is a hidden gem for anyone passionate about gut health, fermented foods, and high-quality, organic ingredients. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, rustic atmosphere and a team that’s knowledgeable and passionate about their products. Their kombucha on tap is a must-try, offering a variety of flavors that are both refreshing and not overly sweet. If you’re into bone broth, theirs is some of the best—rich, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients that you can taste in every sip. They also have an impressive selection of fermented vegetables, dairy-free yogurts, and other probiotic-packed goods that are hard to find elsewhere. Beyond the food and drinks, Fermentation Farm is also a great place for health-conscious shoppers looking for natural, nutrient-dense pantry staples. Their commitment to using organic, locally sourced ingredients makes a noticeable difference in taste and quality. The only downside is that some items can be on the pricier side, but considering the craftsmanship and health benefits, it’s well worth it. If you’re serious about gut health or just love trying unique, artisanal foods, this place is definitely worth a visit!
Fermentation Farm is a gem! I love having lunch here — their morning chili and kraut sando are to die for. Everything is fresh, nourishing, and made with care. A must for gut health!
I love this place and the food is excellent. I've tried both the plain and garlic Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Both were fantastic. I love the flavor and now love raw cheese. Service is typically fast, yet slower during peak hours. Call ahead if you can. Parking is always an issue, so walk, bike or get dropped off, haha They also have a wide variety of products for sale as well. Gut-friendly snacks, spices and eggs. My favorites: Nate's popped Sorghum and Sea Moss.
Great little shop and eatery tucked away in a small strip mall. Always has the high quality gut friendly fermented foods and decent amt of frozen bone broths, meats etc. I got there for the ground beef/liver meat. All grass fed. I wish it was grass finished as well, because we all know by now the "grass fed" is all a scam.. All in all its a cool spot with a good vibe and good products..
Es un lugar con una propuesta diferente, interesante y con un sentido de nutrición muy positivo. Me encantó!!
Excelente restaurante todo natural y excelente servicio se los recomiendo bendiciones...
Las bebidas riquísimas todas pero más la de mango 🥭 muy recomendable el lugar para mi 9/10
Such a fun, half grocer, half dining shop with all these fermented, natural products! I have yet to eat a full meal here but ordered the fermented bread by recommendation of the register — at first, I found it bland but after more chew, the kefir blueberry flavor really came through! They also sell products I struggle to find elsewhere, such as Meet The Source’s raw cakes, Monty’s cashew cream cheese, and Nemi snacks’ cactus sticks. I will definitely be back to try more of their sweet treats and browse for healthy snacks!
Nice place with kombucha on tap, a mini market and some good food. My favorite was the sourdough corn bread. We also ordered a tuna salad sandwich and the vegetarian rice ramen. I would return, but out of these, I'd only order the corn bread again. Service was great. We purchased chocolate as well as the best dates I've ever had in the market.
The food experience was 3 but the storefront was nice, so I’m rating this place a 4. The food was decent for the most part (a bit pricey), but they should either get rid of or rename their ramen. It was so bland and flavorless, we were shocked that it was sold. Also, we ordered a black bean chili but got a ground beef chili instead. They offered to replace it, but it would have been bad if someone was religious or something. The concept of the store and focusing on healthy options is amazing. I just wish our experience was better.
I love the selection here and the philosophy. The products are very pricey. I understand the cost that goes into well-sourced and produced food, but it does add up quickly! I like stopping in for a bone broth and a dozen eggs. Know that you'll need to purchase a temporary or lifetime membership to shop here.
The products are great for what you're looking for especially the eggs they sell are delicious. Only reason I gave it a four star is because of the kitchen twice now my wife and I have gone there to pick up chili and soup for dinner date at the park across the street and it was cold. Which is disappointing.
All things fermented and great for gut health. Small market and decent menu. I used to love their beef chili but it wreaks like cumin now and is too strong. The beef broth is my go-to when I am sick. Their staff has some friendly faces and others who could care less.
If you love great quality food this a very good place to go. Soups, Chili, and Bucha are very good. Sandwiches are good too. Only thing I would suggestion or recommend is if on the menu under plates. They are just sandwiches al a carte. Either change it sandwiches or add a small portion of soup and chili to accompany the meal.
Vegan chili comes with too much cumin and for $14 bowl ( which not large) with no bread at all. You need to order extra bread $4. A little bit pricey!
Muy vier Cosas saludables
This place used to be much better unfortunately maybe with high demand the quality has gone down significantly. Also there is no consistency. I ordered 3 sides of chicken which on their menu clearly stated is 4oz per side. As I am on a very strict diet I went home to weigh the chicken only to find they had charged me for 12oz of chicken but on gave me 7.3 oz of chicken. It’s already extremely over priced to begin and then to come home and find out they didn’t even give me the proper amount is very disappointing. Also I’m not sure about there kombucha practices and how closely they watch the PH levels as one of my friends got sick, had body pains, and threw up after drinking the kombucha. I have really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it has disappointed me over and over. Not to mention the chocolate is extremely over priced one of my favorites brands that I can find for $4 at mothers is $9 there. And it’s $10 for 1 dozen eggs 😳. All and all the people are sweet and nice but I would not recommend the food not consistent.
I only go here for the good quality eggs and besides that the kombucha messed up my stomach and all the fermented food tastes bad. The service is absolutely disgusting. It seems like the employees don’t want to make money and don’t care about the store. I was turned away multiple times 5 minutes before closing and one time they wouldn’t let me grab a frozen chicken because they said they were counting them which doesn’t make any sense at all.
Positive and Negative. Hate posting negative reviews. Positive first. The food is very good. Being a chef and knowing what’s good and has good energy. Have to say FF is at the TOP. enjoy the food very much. Prices are def high for the amount of food you get. Have to say the 1 taco for $8-10 is nuts. You should get two for that price. The service could be much better w fermentation knowledge. Now the negative. I heard so much about the egg salad. I had to try. Got home and a few days later w excitment I opened it up and found finger diggings in my jar. I was thoroughly disgusted. I can’t believe someone took there fingers and grabbed a few bites and put it back on FF shelf to sell. HuH??? Is this real??. The deadline to eat it is today. It’s now trashed. Won’t be back. Sorry you lost me. Will spread the word.
Went for the search for the perfect tuna melt. This place came up. Has house made Sauerkraut! Order the $16 dollar tuna melt and $7 side salad. Register asked for a TIP with NO wait service. The sandwich was ok. The salad was tiny. The prices there were ridiculous to be honest. You guys should be ashamed to ask for tips after the prices you’re charging the customers. Your staff should be paid plenty with the ridiculous prices you’re going for.
I have been going here for 3-4 years. Today I found out they actually use non organic chicken from Costco. This is sad… I never expected this from this place. Organic and/or local ?? Clearly not anymore.
My friend recommended this place to me, specifically for the beef dip. The first time in I ordered said beef dip, I've posted what it’s supposed to be, and what I got. I didn’t look until I got home but for $18, plus tax and tip, It was a beyond irritating to open and see the beef dip not a roll, and on bread that looks like half the size as the other review photos. I showed my friend and even he said I got HOSED.
I drove a long way and called this place beforehand and asked if they had homemade, handmade, organic raw milk, grass fed butter. They told me yes and when I got there, they only had commercial butter that you can buy at any sprouts. I was sooo disappointed and what a waste of gas and time!!!
There was a hair in my sandwich and then they didn’t let our family use the bathroom after we spent over $150 eating dinner there and having drinks. How can you be a sanitary restaurant with hair in your food and children needing to use the restroom after eating and drinking at your establishment. My child is disabled and they severely stressed us out not being able to use the restroom before a long drive home. I cannot believe they treated their customers with such little regard to their basic human needs. They locked us out just minutes after closing time and specifically told us “no” when I just asked to use the restroom for our children. Unbelievable.
Come here often. Generally a good experience, order wasn’t made right after a long wait. Had already drove off.
