Shrimp was cooked perfectly and lo mein had so much flavor! The woman working up front is incredible, has such a wonderful personality and is very warm and welcoming!

First time I ordered at their place thru GrubHub delivery. I was very impressed! The dishes were good and they were in a plastic container while the rice were in a usual paper box. They were properly packed, overall. Serving was good enough size but not minimized. We will definitely order again!

I ordered to go. It was good, hot, and steamy. I got the orange chicken, chicken lomein, streak rice, and sweet and sour, and all of them were very good. Definitely going back again. Im not really a rice guy but they made it really good. I reccomend this place if youre craving chinese.

Well ordered delivery. Took 1 1/2 HR. No big deal. Untill I open the egg rolls. They are Literally dripping Oil I had a puddle of oil and used 6 paper towels and there still saturated. Orange chicken was super hard old and hard to chew. Happy family was good and sweet and sour was good. 3 stars for half of the food being good. Other than that not very happy. You call and tell them they dont seem to care. No offer of any kind just thank you and hang up the phone

Delivery was fast and friendly. Food tastes great, but we found chips of plastic in our soup. Wondering if we swallowed any, luckily the kids aren't home.

I’ve had this place delivered multiple times and it’s been decent, HOWEVER, last night we did general Tso chicken and chicken lo mein (this one was problematic). The other parts of the meal were fine but the chicken in the lo mein… it was disgusting! Tasted rancid like it had been sitting on the floor for hours! Not sure if it was because of the time of night, either way, people shouldn’t gag and spit out chicken!

The best chicken fried rice and spring rolls from anywhere ever. The food is always fresh and it’s never a long wait. Update: this rice pot used to be really good. The last few times I went, it was not. The sauces taste like they are cooked with dirty water.

Ridiculously expensive and the chicken was terribly hard to chew. Inside the "restaurant" was like a sauna, hot and humid. I wouldn't suggest eating in. I gave 2 stars because the chicken was hot.

WORST MOO GOO GAI PAN. I ordered a Moo Goo Gai Pan and was surprised to get a mixed of cabbage with only 3 little pieces of chicken.

You never know what you're going to get. The shrimp in my combination fried rice tasted like it hadn't been cleaned. 🤢 I called and they were super rude and accused me of lying. The shrimp wasn't fresh. Yuck

This place is terrible now, I remember years ago when you could get decent Chinese food here, now it’s not even edible. I normally order from the one in Prosper but had to order here because I had a sick child to get home and was nearby to pick it up. We ordered $50 worth of food and most of it was not good. The bell pepper beef looked old or overcooked , and tough as beef jerky. We called rice pot to let them know that. They lady told us to bring back the beef anytime and she’ll refund us cash for it. I took it back the next day, she remembered but was very rude. I won’t order from this location again

Unfortunately this place used to have the best food but here recently the quality has gone down tremendously. I always order delivery and numerous times they have forgotten sweet and sour sauce and yesterday they forgot the rice. Also the meat was spoiled and tasted awful

New management and it shows. The food does not taste the same. This place used to be so good! It tastes generic now and bland. I’m so bummed. I miss the old food. I’ll drive to Denton for better food. They didn’t even know the menu well. Asked for sugar peas beef and was told they don’t have that on the menu, I’ve ordered that for years and the menu still says “sugar peas” under entrees. Maybe it’ll get better over time. I’ll give it a year before I go back.

We recently moved to the area and this is Literally the worst Chinese food I have ever had. And that’s saying something bc we’ve had bad Chinese, Neither my husband nor I could finish our food. After about 5 bites of what tasted like 5x reheated Orange Chicken that was actually brown and tough as leather Pepper Steak, we threw them both away and cooked something else for dinner. This was AFTER I specifically asked them to make it fresh, as we’ve had Chinese restaurants reheat before. They clearly completely ignored that request and instead went and found the oldest food they had and threw it in a to-go box. Disgusting. Do not go here. I have no idea how they are still in business with a lack of quality control that bad. 🤮

Horrible. Food wasnt fresh at all. Im extremely disappointed. The lady that answered the phone was rude after I called to voice my concern. I remained polite and told her I did not want a refund or food, hoping she'd hear me out, but the rudeness continued. Wont ever go back.

I ordered chicken fried rice to go. It was so horrible I couldn’t eat it. Big pieces of raw white onions and not one other vegetable. No peas. No carrots. No eggs. Just large chunks of white pungent onions. The chicken tasted nasty too. I literally started gagging and couldn’t swallow it. I’m so traumatized I may never be able to eat chicken fried rice from anywhere ever again. Normally I wouldn’t never leave a review as truthful as this one but I’m hoping no one else will ever experience this and hopefully the owners will stop selling it. Maybe they don’t even read these reviews. So it’s up to you. If you order from here make sure you know what your eating. I don’t want this to happen to you! You’ve been warned!

Update 10/29/24- not sure if management has changed but the quality of food sure has. The last 4 times it’s been dang near non eatable. Everything is soaked in oil. Every bite taste like dirty oil. I was hoping this place would come back around but we are done. We do not recommend this place any longer. GROSS ____________________________________________ Never eaten inside the place but their delivery service has been great. Food is good too. Not the worlds greatest, but for take-out; our family enjoys it.

I hate to do this but... we just ordered from here & the white rice was sour, old, smelled like an arm pit! We didn't even notice until after we ate it. I pray my family and I doesn't get sick🤮 we have some white rice left and that's when we smelled the horrible sent while putting it away. I notice it a little while eating but I thought I wasn't sure where it was coming from... We called & the lady apologized & said that the rice was old & she was sorry but, we will NEVER order from here again! The egg rolls are now frozen, not fresh like they use to be!! This place should be closed asap!!!

I decided to give this place another try after being disappointed the first time and they let me down even harder this time. The orange chicken is literally cooked to death and has 0 flavor and 0 sauce on it. It’s literally inedible. I would just go to the rice pot in Frisco and avoid this place if there are literally any other options. $30 for this and some soup, totally not worth it at all.

I placed a order that contained the combination fried rice. Almost immediately after eating it everyone in my family who ate it was throwing up and nauseous. When I called the restaurant to get a refund the manager called me a liar claiming that she watched the rice being made and that she found nothing wrong with it. I know for a fact that the shrimp in the rice was not fresh and is what has my family sick. I also found it really unprofessional how the manager felt the need to call me and my family liars, claim that yesterdays customers were satisfied, and proceed to yell at my mother when we hadn't raised our voices at all. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The health department needs to do something about this place. I should have known not to complete my order when the person who took my order yelled at me for not giving them my card number fast enough, when the delivery driver was rude to me so I held my tip and they circled back to confront me, And now that the so called manager feels the need to give people food poisoning and yell at them for not being satisfied.

How is this place still open? My son wanted Chinese food so we tried it… the smell inside the restaurant made me afraid to eat the food. Smelled like the pipes were rotting. My daughter said the chicken was strange. The fried rice has no veggies at all! Random stuff that looks likes worms I’m scared

Fortunately, I ordered through DoorDash and they were able to fix the issue by refunding me for the meal. But this is completely unacceptable and I will never order from here again. I advise if you have children or elderly and are thinking of feeding them Food from this restaurant, DON’T!!!

We are new to the area and love the RicePot in Frisco but this location is gross. Ordered 5 entrees and all the rice tasted like it had been sitting or reheated after being cooled. All of the meat was questionable from the doneness, blandness, shape, texture, etc. Staff were friendly but I honestly think it was because they expected a tip after showed up to pick up our nearly $100 order. We have not and will not be back.
