Good breakfast at Marriott Marquis. We had prompt service both days, large breakfast portions. Be sure to walk over to the large windows for a great view of Times Square.

Family friendly, reasonably priced and a very civilized place to sit and eat a meal. Our food was great and the live music was an unexpected plus.

Credible Critic

Restaurant inside Marriott Marquis in Times Square NY serving mostly hotel guests with abbreviated menu. One can find some popular American dishes here, steaks, chicken sandwiches, burgers etc. Some beers and wine to accompany your meal. My steak and frites was acceptable. The flat steak was cooked just like I asked, medium, and the fries were hot and crisp. Service was adequate for this large restaurant. If I have to grab a quick bite in this area, I wouldn't hesitate to do it here again

I recently stumbled upon the Crossroads buffet offering while visiting the Marriot. I found the buffet to be a great value for the overall selection of freshly prepared buffet items. I have taken a star away because the employees seemed to be completely overwhelmed while the seating hadn't even reached 50% occupancy. Delays on bringing water, coffee or a check to a table of customers who opted for the buffet is inexcusable. I will probably return because the buffet was that good. Hopefully service will also rise to the occasion.

We also attempted to have dinner in the restaurant one night, but were disappointed in the lack of choices to order from. We ended up leaving to eat someplace else.

Not even the spicy mayo they put on it to make it the spicy chicken had flavor. The only thing with substance was their coleslaw, which is surprising because people usually mess that up. My partner had the bacon cheeseburger; honestly would have been better off going to any basic burger shop. It's convienant if you're in the hotel and don't want to leave. But other than that,I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

The customer service here needs some major work. I know people say New Yorkers aren't friendly and it's not personal, but this is a restaurant in a pretty high-end hotel. The workers should act like it. The woman who seats people for breakfast always looks irritated and is so rude. When you are accidentally in someone's way, the other workers will tell you extremely unkindly to stop being in the way. Better language and attitude could really go a long way. Clearly this hotel didn't provide an adequate customer service training, if at all.

Waited 40 minutes while requesting service from every server that walked by. Asked to wait longer while other tables where served ahead of us. Server finally arrives and rudely asked us what we wanted to order when we didn't even have menus. Good luck!
