BambúLimón Cuautla Reviews
A very pleasant and picturesque place, the food is rich, delicious and not expensive at all 🫰
Excellent Place for Lunch...
The stews are delicious, with a real home-cooked flavor, handmade tortillas, cooked over a wood fire, just like grandma used to make. The coffee is excellent, the service is superb. Many complain that it runs out quickly, but that's understandable since the seasoning makes it very popular. An excellent option for breakfast.
The food is amazing, they have different stews every day, but you have to arrive very early to get a table because by 9 am it's already difficult to find one. They have hot or lukewarm coffee, the bread is also delicious, the service is very good, there are large tables that can be shared, the price for lunch is very affordable, 100% recommended.
Every day you'll find three or four different stews. All with a delicious flavor, just like in the days of our mothers and grandmothers! What's more, each stew is served with handmade tortillas that go straight from the griddle to your table while you eat lunch. The place must have been around for a couple of decades, started by Mrs. Vicky and her parents. Over time, the kitchen and management have passed to the third generation, who maintain the unmissable flavor in every dish, surely inherited from family culinary secrets. The place is rustic, but this doesn't detract from the service. The staff has developed an excellent work rhythm, supported by family backing, which has helped maintain a clientele that has spread the fame of this place even to neighboring states of Morelos. Mr. Martín is in charge of preparing picaditas, tlacoyos, and dobladitas with the daily stews. Mrs. Meche and Mrs. Vicky are in charge of making the tortillas and keeping the stove going, supplying each customer. Mrs. Mary is always attentive to the overall organization. Mrs. Chely and her sisters are in charge of the kitchen and the ingredients for each delicious dish. Highly recommended! 🧆🥘🌮🌯🥩🍗☕☕🥯🥖🥐 Cost per person? About $100 pesos. Seasoning? Excellent. Variety of dishes? Different each day of the week...
It's delicious and affordable! It's a rustic place, the downside is that they close at noon and run out of food quickly. They don't have a menu, but the sopes with stew and the dobladas are $30, the plain picadas are $20, coffee is $25, and soda is $30. So, a person will spend an average of 100 to 120 pesos. They have great seasoning. I didn't give it 5 stars because they don't have a menu, since I don't like being surprised by the prices.
Excellent service, location and seasoning, a pleasant experience, the only drawback is that the place is too small for the amount of people who seek them out, but that is a sign of the quality and flavor
Cold food, slow service, nothing special. It always smells of smoke.
The food was delicious, although it runs out quickly. It's a good option if you want to get up early and rush to get a table, not just a table, but food. The table service is very poor; they lack coordination and communication. Overall, the atmosphere is good, not excellent, as there's a sense of urgency to get you to vacate your table.
The food is tasty but not worth it. The service from ALL the staff is terrible; they act like they're doing you a favor by serving you. They take forever to serve you, and the place is incredibly smoky—you can't even breathe.
Bad seasoning, tough meat, very rude waitress
It's delicious but they are super rude, you almost have to beg for them to take your order.
