Moka's Café Cuautla Reviews
It's not a crowded place, at least on the occasions we've been, so the service is quick and good. The period decor is beautiful.
There's a great variety of dishes, and they all taste delicious. Plus, the cakes and coffee are exquisite. The service, as always, is excellent. 👌
The best cafe in Cuautla. 100% recommended. The food is delicious (especially the lasagna), the portions are generous, and the price is more than fair since they use high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant, always with an excellent music selection. The young José Antonio is definitely the heart of the cafe, always providing excellent service, friendly, respectful, and with a smile at all times.
The service isn't as fast as in some other places, but I can always wait for their delicious bread, whether it's with my meal or in the form of a baguette. It's a small and cozy place. The coffee is good, and I love the citrus juice. You won't find traditional breakfasts here. The eggs with walnut sauce, for example, are very good.
The orange and walnut cakes are delicious. The lasagna is well worth a try, but you can also try the crepes, herbal teas, and coffee, which are highly recommended. Overall, the place is well-staffed, very clean, and has a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. It's one of those places that's been around for many years, and I hope it continues for a long time to come.
I've always liked this place a lot. The service is good and the food is also very good. I recommend ordering the breakfast combo. If you change the dish, it's just an extra difference, but it's not much. You can also buy cakes or whole pancakes for your events or place orders. The prices are affordable and based on what they offer. I recommend it. Just keep in mind that it's not open on Saturdays.
I love this place!!! The Christmas decorations are amazing!! Excellent service and attention from the staff. For breakfast, they offer a $130 package per person, which includes juice and fruit, coffee, and a dish of your choice from the menu. To accompany it, they serve four squares of savory bread and butter, and as always, the bread is delicious! They also offer a slice of pancake for $50 (enough for two people). We ordered the orange one and it was delicious. For our main course, we chose American waffles and Popeye pita bread, and everything was delicious and high-quality. Highly recommended, definitely.
One of the best places for breakfast in Cuautla; the place is very clean and quiet, with pleasant background music and a simple yet charming decor. The waiter is very attentive and friendly, offering helpful suggestions. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, prepared in different styles inspired by various regions (not the typical recipes you'd find in any restaurant). The only suggestion would be to improve the menus by adding photos of some dishes to make choosing easier. In conclusion, the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable—not too expensive, not too cheap. Excellent place.
An excellent place to eat, the food is delicious and the portions are large. Since they offer packages, you can eat well for only $150.00 and still be full. The atmosphere inside is very peaceful, the service is great, and the music is excellent. I definitely recommend this place for a visit with family or friends. By the way! The desserts are delicious and beautifully presented.
The food is delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant, perfect for a family outing. The music is soft and appropriate. The restrooms are clean. You can order your favorite dish and upgrade it to a combo meal, which includes coffee or tea, fruit, and juice—all very tasty.
A cozy, clean place, one of those local spots that keeps its menu for years. They have tasty breakfast sets and à la carte options, the only downside is that they only accept cash. The staff is very friendly. They're closed on Saturdays.
The service is truly excellent, but the food is very average; I didn't find anything that would make me want to return.
It's OK
A shame, it's nothing like what Mokas once was, their ham and cheese are the most common, they put ketchup on the sandwiches when Mr. Rene never did that, the bread is not the same at all, a total disappointment and it's even more expensive
I always loved going to that place, but this last time I felt ripped off. I ordered a slice of cake, and the price wasn't listed on the menu. When I paid the bill, the slice of cake cost me $60.00! 😮 And now the slice is even smaller. The service was incredibly slow. I've always loved everything about the place, but this time they really let me down. For two set meals, you get four cubes of herb bread, and if you order extra, it's $45.00! 😳 And now the set meal is $160.00... How outrageous! I'M NEVER GOING BACK!
