Bamboo Culver City Reviews
What really stood out here was the atmosphere. The lighting, music, and layout came together to create a space that felt lively without being overwhelming. It was easy to enjoy conversation and stay present in the moment. Everything felt comfortable and intentional, from the way the room was arranged to how smoothly everything ran behind the scenes. Nothing felt rushed or disorganized. As a travel streamer, I’m always paying attention to places that feel memorable for the right reasons, and this one definitely delivered. One of my favorite restaurants in LA! Food is delicious and so are the drinks while not being too pricey. I’d recommend they put some signs and lights out indicating they’re open and attract more ppl. This place deserves more hype ❤️
Wow. I was blown away at how flavorful and delicious my food was. Lots of flavor without being salty. My dish was a perfect example of great Caribbean food. I had the Caribbean shrimp. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. Great spot for a party or a group of friends. Drinka are reasonably priced. Parking isn't too hard here unlike right down the street.
Delicious food at affordable prices with decent portions! Our group of four shared the ceviche, which was fresh and plentiful. I got the Cancun Steak, which was heavier on the sauce than I expected but the meat was tender and flavorful. I also tried the Seafood Paella, which came with a lot of seafood! All the entrees came with rice, beans, and fried plantains. The staff was friendly and checked on us often. The food didn't take too long to come out.
This was a delightful surprise! The mojitos and other refreshing cocktails are made with fresh sugar cane juice. WOW! Best mojito ever with authentic flavors no processed sugars so no hangover! All the dishes we ordered were off the charts and the sauces are made by Jose with various Latin influences. Try it you'll like it! Very reasonable prices.
This was my first visit, and it will definitely not be my last. Everything was wonderful! The salsa is a bit spicy, but rich and Smokey. The guacamole is just right. I tried the mushroom soup for an appetizer, then a margarita pizza for my main course. Both were wonderful! I tried a piece of my friend’s Cancun Steak. I highly recommend it! I’ll be getting that my next visit. I meant to take more pictures, but the food was so good, I forgot. This place is definitely a gem!
Very nice comfortable restaurant. Large inside and outdoor seating. The roasted vegetable soup -$5.00 large bowl, enough for 2 people! . Good seasonings. Yucatan chicken , mango curry chicken and coconut shrimp all delicious and all come with rice, black beans and plantains. We also ordered the coconut flan , which is surrounded with raspberry sauce. Pretty presentation . Our bill came to $83.+ Change. We didn't have alcoholic beverages . Parking available on site . Staff friendly and accommodating. Good date nite restaurant!
Delicious food and drinks! I really enjoyed the salmon, shrimp, and mango mojito.
Five stars for Jaime! We stumbled upon this place last night and were pleasantly surprised. Our server/bartender Jaime was fantastic and friendly. He even made a drink he had never made before. Food was awesome and came out promptly too! Then after we left Jaime was nice enough to find us down the street to give my credit card back.
Great place to spend some quality time! Fun for friends, a date or family! Enjoy a swan paddle boat rental!
Amazing service! Server was really genuine and accommodating! A very pretty place! Good music. Food was delicious. Recommend 100%

We love this place. Awesome food (try the salmon and the mushroom soup) inexpensive and good vibe. This is our go to.
I have been coming here for over 30 years! The food is still as fantastic as the first time I came! The Mango curry Chicken, Caribbean Shrimp Pizza and corn chowder are still favorites of mine but other items are delicious too!! Chef Jose worked at The Ivy and has improved on some of their already delicious recipes!
Really lovely restaurant. You can tell they put a lot of thought and effort to their food and service. Stopped in and had a capirhina which was delicious, the churrasco steak and crab cakes were so good too. Great little neighborhood restaurant, highly recommend supporting this local business.
This place is great! We stumbled upon it one night and have been back a few times. The food is super flavourful and the drinks are amazing. Highly recommend!
A wonderful Latin-infused restaurant in Culver City. Whoever served us on a Monday night, and it might have been the owner, was incredibly gracious and fun. We sat outside as we are from the mid-Atlantic and don't mind at all mid-60s temperatures. A wonderful time and great food including the ceviche, steak, and salmon pizza.
The Shrimp is a MUST everytime i'm in town! The Tuna civache was recommended and it was Amazing! 🔥 Drinks are always the best! Food is FRESH and full of FLAVOR!
The food is just amazing here, and the prices are very fair for what you get. Just feels authentic! Would recommend anyone to check it out. They have a nice patio and occasional live music 🎵

Coming for years! Always delicious food and great service! Also the best Mojitos! Made fresh! FREE Parking in the back.🤩

We attended a graduation party and this was our first visit. The food was delicious. The menu was preplanned for the event and served hot and tasty The plantains were extra yummy. There were 2 different styles of chicken, curry with pineapple was my favorite. The area for dinning was indoors and out. The staff perfectly wonderful and attentive to the guests needs. Will go again.

Update June 2023: Food and atmosphere remains great! Really great! However, although the restaurant was almost empty, they keep asking if you want your bill, pushing you out of there. The table didn't have another round of drinks because of it. If you come here, expect to have great food, but be ready to be kicked out an hour later. That's too bad, because I like this place. March 2023: Visited this location to quietly celebrate a birthday together with 5 friends. Great atmosphere, good food and drinks, romantic atmosphere actually. This could be a great location, however service disappointed me. After we stopped ordering, the server kept trying to push us out. I would understand that, and would leave the restaurant earlier on my own, if it was full, but it was more than half empty. If you are a couple trying to spend a couple, or want to enjoy a couple of hours here with friends, forget it. I think they want you out in 30 minutes, unless you never stop ordering. Again, loved the place, but maybe a place to come alone, and have a quick bite.
Over priced, small portions. Parking sucks. It was my first and probably last time I go there. California Pizza Kitchen is across the street, way better choice. At least there they have unlimited refills on sodas. Here, it's 4 dollars for one 12oz can. Really, next.

Stopped in for an evening snack and wine for me and my wife after a day of fun. Had a couple of small plates and two glasses of wine. Waitresses came back and said the wine I ordered wasn't available, a more expensive variety was. Went with it. When she brought the bill the charges were more than on the menu for the items we ordered, She said the owner raised the prices. I said that should be reflected on the menu. She did adjust the charge. I left a 20% tip but when the charge was processed they increased it to almost 40%. Sad to be ripped off after a day of fun. Don't go there.
