This restaurant feels like a Korean-inspired restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The place was also well lit, clean and cozy 👍🏼. It might be harder to find parking but if you live nearby, you can always order it for to-go. The cashier was very friendly and patient in explaining the menu. The food was overall great, and reasonably priced as well 💯! The food: - Spicy Chicken 🌶️🍗(8/10): I thought the portion was generous! The rice texture was cooked to perfection (not watery). Meat was mildly chewy and the salad that came with the bowl was fresh 🥗. I think the only thing I didn't like was how spicier this dish is compared to the spicy pork. Which was supposedly having the same level of spiciness. - Spicy Pork 🌶️🐷 (10/10): The spicy pork though, was delicious 😋🤤! The meat was juicy and tender. One thing though, if you don't like onions, you better let them know ahead of time, because they put a lot of onions on my bowl and my mouth smelled like onion for hours 🧅😩. Overall, I totally recommend this restaurant! Great food, clean, convenient, reasonably priced and your food gets served pretty quickly. They have many branches throughout west LA. So, you can pick whichever is closest to you. I think they will still taste the same 👍🏼!

The food is fire! The service is mediocre, and the atmosphere is trash (literally). There was a city trash can right outside the restaurant door overfilled with garage and reeking of piss. As for inside of the restaurant, it is very small and crammed. You’re almost standing on top of other people as you wait in line to order or wait for your food to be ready. As for the food… wow!! 10 out of 10. I ordered the Koren fried chicken (sweet & spicy) and a side of steamed rice. I cannot wait to go back and order this again. I killed the entire meal and did not leave anything behind. My wife ordered the Spicy Mayo Chicken bowl and the Fried Chicken Dumplings. The portion size was huge! She could not finish it. The spicy sauce was too spicy and overpowered the flavor of the chicken, rice, and veggies. Rating this bowl a 4 out of 10 on the spicy overkill. The prices here are AMAZING! We only spent $25 for our food, drove to Manhattan beach, and enjoyed it while watching the sunset. Our food was still hot after the 35 min drive.

This was an uber eats delivery. The food was amazing. It was flavorful and the portions are nice. The food is priced perfectly. I most definitely will be ordering from here again. Hopefully we can get some shrimp as an add on. Overall this hit my taste buds just right.

Had the spicy Mayo Chicken and it was delicious. Great individual portions of rice, chicken, and mixed greens. Chicken was fresh and spicy and the service was great. They were very helpful and patient with us as newcomers.

The spicy mayo with extra protein is my go-to dish—it never disappoints. The portion sizes are generous, with plenty of delicious, well-marinated meat. Every bite is flavorful and satisfying. Highly recommended!

Had the spicy fried chicken. Sure spicy, but does not break a sweat. Fresh and crispy, some sweet pickles to balance. Well cooked rice. Really good value, $10-$11 for a bowl. Enough for a medium sized belly. Friendly service, and they were quick. Perfect! Only downside is the busy road right outside.

Great portion size at a super reasonable price! Black pepper chicken bowl was packed with flavor — the rice, chicken, and veggies were all so tasty! The service was quick and friendly. 5 stars!

Huge portion for the price, lots of rice and good protein. Eggplant with the tofu was fab, a little torched but in a good way

Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Generous portion, fast friendly service and a very good price for how much food you get. For the price I was happy with the food and I’ll definitely go back!

Everyone show this place some love! It is a phenomenal option with delicious food and quick service. I got the spicy chicken bowl with a side of kimchi and it was amazing. Absolute treat that made my day. Quantity was good and the price was more than fair ! I know there’s some new competition near by but go here and try them out the food is amazing!

PHENOMENAL neighborhood find! Right on the corner of Venice & Beethoven. Very reasonable and large portions prepared caringly by a very friendly owner whom obviously cares about quality and hygene. I've been twice now and had the delicious and tender Bulgogi and the pepper chicken bowl. EXCELLENT! If you are hungry for something fresh and healthy, this is your spot.

I was just walking by after picking up a coffee from Bluey’s next door and stopped in. I believe it was the owner who was in preparing food and sauces for the day when I dropped in (~1130am). He was super nice. I got the spicy chicken. Possibly the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life. Zero exaggeration. Beautiful presentation and the flavor was so incredible. I’m absolutely blown away. It’s not what I was expecting from this tiny hole in the wall with a handful of indoor and outdoor tables. This is unreal. I only want to eat this chicken and nothing else for the rest of my life. How is this so cheap? Look at the prices. What in the hell? I feel like I’ve been teleported back to 2011. I’m just flabbergasted. Bluey’s next door is fine and trendy with people lined up on a Saturday while this place sits quietly next door with the BEST CHICKEN on planet earth. Now I’m googling about it. Matthew Kim is local and he’s the owner. He’s got four of these small joints around LA. Mr. Kim, I was an atheist before trying your chicken. I will be spreading your gospel until my last breath. EVERYONE, CANCEL YOUR DINNER PLANS, CANCEL YOUR TRIP TO IBIZA, QUIT YOUR JOB, LIQUIDATE YOUR 401K, SELL ALL YOUR BELONGINGS, BUY THIS CHICKEN.

Great food served by even better people. Back when I lived a short walk away, I used to come here multiple times a week for its outstanding chicken bowls, fair prices, and friendly staff. Unfortunately moved further away a couple years ago and haven’t made the trip to BBQ and Rice as much as I used to. Tonight was my first time picking up dinner here in at LEAST a year and yet when the owner was ringing me up, he thanked me for being a long time regular and added a free drink to my meal. I couldn’t believe he even remembered my face. Just a quality business run by very good people. And the food was 10/10 yet again.

Absolutely amazing. Will go here again and again and again. And I’ll tell my friends to eat here. The way it tasted like I was in Korea, and it was only $12 something! Like ughhhh so good! I only wished they had a galbi bowl too.

This is a to-go food place with some serious portions and flavor. It's korean bbq and my go to for a satisfying filling meal with big flavors at a reasonable price. Happy guy here.

Get anything beside the bulgogi beef. The flavor was great but the meat was smaller than ground beef crumbles. I’ll try the chicken or pork next time

Let’s get one thing out of the way: in this economy, finding a heap of actual meat, veggies, and decent sauces for under $13 deserves applause. So yes, two thumbs up on value alone. But that’s the problem with star ratings: one number can't cover both “cheap and filling” and “culinary masterpiece.” If you’re hungry, frugal, and craving something vaguely healthy, this place is a solid 4.67 (hope you read that out loud). The meat is flavorful, the greens are basically Costco’s salad mix on sabbatical, and the sauce didn’t quite know where it belonged. The dumplings? Fantastic! Fresh and comforting. But where’s the rice when you really need it? The main event (bulgogi, in my case) lands squarely in “mall food court” territory. But service is friendly, lines are nonexistent, and it all lands in that sweet spot between “I deserve better” and “my budget needs more options like this one” Cheap, quick, and better than "edible": three boxes checked.

We were really excited to try this based on the other reviews. I had the bulgogi bowl, and asked for extra sauce as others have suggested. That was a good call because it definitely needed a flavor boost. My sig-o had the spicy chicken bowl and found it shockingly one-note (after expecting a flavor bomb based on the ingredients). All that said, the portions were huge and I did eat every drop of mine and enjoyed it well enough, but likely wouldn’t return.

Place is sparsely decorated. When I went to the counter the guys were halfway between the front counter and the kitchen all looking at something on their phone. They looked up and back down, so I just walked out. Too bad because I was looking forward to trying this after my neighbor got takeout from here a couple days prior but bad service sucks.
