absolutely love fat sals, they by far are my favorite sandwich place in LA, the staff are always so warm and inviting, the decor is so cool, the drink selections are so awesome, oh my god the food, if you are a foodie like me……just go, there is something for everyone, vegan, vegetarian, meat lovers etc, they dont hold back with quality or how much you get, you will never leave hungry, these are just some of my Fat Sals adventures! Been going to the Fat Sals in Hollywood. Just moved to Culver City and saw they have location just blocks away from where I stay now. Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews. Sandwiches are smaking good really good portions. I got one of my favorite items the Fat Texas always hits the spot with the pastrami mozzarella sticks fries bacon. Also got a chicken bacon ranch Sammy. My kids loved it. We always stop by here once a week to get 2 subs and share with fries. Burgers look great also will try them next time and update this review.

Great food, clean location! I absolutely love Fat Sals, and was excited to try this new location near our friends’ place! The Fat Jerry and Buffalo Chicken Fries were delicious - exactly as I remember! Super good, hot, fresh, really liked it. Thinly sliced ribeye, bacon, chicken fingers, mozzarella cheese sticks, French fries, fried egg, and more! Amazing. Served was friendly. I had gone during the day.

The food and service is fabulous!! Great atmosphere and super nice employees:) they loaded my buffalo chicken cheese fries, the chefs aren’t cheap at this location💋 I don’t know what these bad reviews are about, half of them don’t even know what they’re talking about because this isn’t a place you get seated at YET they still came to our table to check on us which has never happened to me at the other fat sals in LA. If y’all mad you lost the food eating challenge and you’re just trying to make them look bad by sending your social following to leave bad reviews, at least tell them to lie a little better in them.

A friend introduced me to Fat Sal's recently, and wow, what a game-changer! I ordered the Fat Breakfast Sandwich, and it was pure deliciousness--packed with flavor and so satisfying. I paired it with a milkshake that had chocolate shavings mixed into the ice cream, like stracciatella, and it was seriously amazing. The sandwich was so huge it fed me for two days, and it tasted even better reheated! Now that I've discovered this spot for incredible comfort food, I'm both thrilled and a little nervous about how often I'll be back. I've already checked out their other locations to make sure I can get my fix wherever I go. Highly recommend Fat Sal's for an unforgettable meal!

The food was amazing! The quality of the meat was excellent, especially in the Fat Jerry and the Fat Texas -- both of which I highly recommend. The wait time wasn't too long, which is impressive given how good the food is. The service was also great; the staff consistently checked in to see if we needed extra sauce or anything else, which is a nice touch, especially for a fast food spot. I would definitely recommend visiting Fat Sal's at least once in your life -- your taste buds won't regret it!

Food is so good! I thought the sandwiches were going to all be huge and really bad for you but they actually had a lot of normal sized sandwiches that weren't loaded with excessive toppings. I got the Italiano and it was fantastic and just the right size. Same with the shakes. I thought they'd be excessive but they were perfect! The guys that worked there were beyond friendly and helpful-something you just don't see often. The restaurant was clean as well. It's become one of my favorite sandwich shops.

The sandwich had pastrami, fries, cheese, chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. It was fire 🔥! The fries were alright. They charged a $1 extra for seasoned fries and the seasoning was just paprika. This place was pretty expensive for what it was. I did like the vibe of the place. It was pretty clean and the style of the building was pretty cool. Staff was also very friendly and helpful!

I’m hoping that they’re still adjusting to finding their footing. I did a take-out order for lunch today for 3 sandwiches. I remember Fat Sal’s sandwiches being absolutely huge and thick enough to put anyone into a food coma. These were underwhelming on size. I had ordered the Fat Sal (minus fries, which I’ve done before at other locations) and the Philly Cheesesteak for my coworker. I also ordered an Italian sandwich which I’m saving for dinner. The Fat Sal had only 1 sploosh of gravy, which ended up being on my last 2 bites. I think there also must have been only 1 onion ring on the whole sandwich because there was only 1 “line” of onion in the entire thing. The only things that had flavor was the mayo and the bread. Everything else just tasted “salty”. My office had hyped up the size of the sandwiches to my coworker, but she too was disappointed at the size of her Philly (but she was happy with the taste). I got the Italiano home, and man, it was depressing. The flavor was “ok”, but again, minimal everything. I needed to add additional dressing onto it because it was so dry. You can get a much better deal at other chain sandwich shops. We're hoping that giving them some time, and maybe eating there rather than a to-go order, might improve the circumstances. I’m hoping this doesn’t turn into a Sad Sal’s.

The worst beef dip and fries I have ever tried. I did not check their reviews, otherwise I wouldn’t order. The gravy, taste and look like glue! Now I know why it’s the fat place!
