TP Tea Cupertino Reviews
This is my favorite spot that have to stop by whenever I am in the area. The drink quality is consistently good and strong tea flavor. The only thing I wish they were more flexible about is customizing the ice. I usually order one extra drink with no ice, since want to save it for my long drive back to LA. understand that the drinks are made according to their set formula, so the liquid doesn't fill the cup all the way, but they still don't offer a no-ice option. That said, the staff is always super kind and helpful, and they gave me extra ice on the side so could keep my drink cold for the drive. It was a thoughtful solution!
I’ve came here so many times and the boba here is absolutely awesome! Also, the Takoyaki here tastes as good as one from a real Japanese restaurant! The line here can be pretty long so I recommend you order online. Probably one of the best milk teas I’ve drank before.
Just visited TP TEA and what a great experience! The store itself has a really clean and welcoming vibe, making it a pleasant place to stop in. The service was incredibly efficient, with our drinks coming out super fast, which is a huge plus. It’s a perfect combination of a great atmosphere and quick service. When it comes to the drinks, I was genuinely impressed. I ordered a classic milk tea and the standout feature was definitely the tea itself. The flavor was exceptionally fragrant, rich, and robust—a clear sign that they use high-quality leaves and truly live up to their "Tea Professional" name. The boba was also excellent; it was perfectly cooked and had a wonderfully chewy texture. I also tried their brown sugar boba milk, and it was equally delicious, with a deep, caramelized flavor that blended beautifully with the creamy milk and those fantastic boba pearls. TP TEA is definitely a place that prioritizes the core ingredients. If you're looking for a spot that serves up a quality drink with speed and efficiency, this is it. I highly recommend it!
TP Tea in Cupertino delivers a polished bubble tea experience with a focus on quality ingredients and consistent flavor. The menu leans into classic Taiwanese milk teas, fruit teas, and creamy lattes, with standout options like the signature Pearl Milk Tea and the refreshing Mango Green Tea. Toppings are fresh and well-portioned, and the sweetness and ice levels are customizable, which makes it easy to tailor your drink to your liking. The shop itself is clean and modern, with a minimalist design that keeps the focus on the drinks. Service is efficient, and even during peak hours, the line moves quickly. While seating is limited, it’s a great grab-and-go spot for students, professionals, or anyone craving a reliable tea fix. TP Tea’s attention to detail and smooth ordering process make it a dependable favorite in Cupertino’s competitive boba scene
The tea is very tasty! They clearly take their time in great care and making it. You order at a kiosk online, get a number, and wait for it. Their selection is decent. They get a ton of online orders because we were the only ones in the shop yet they made many drinks before they got to ours.
I’ve been to this TP Tea location in Cupertino many times, but this is the first time I’m doing a review specifically because I realize I have never written a thorough review, with my own thoughts and experiences. Given that this was the first boba place I’m going to in 2025, what better would it be than writing a review? Located at the Pacific Rim Shopping Center, it’s not surprised that it is practically empty given that it is on New Year’s Day. However, the inside of the shop was still bustling with people, and employees constantly having to fill in person orders, as well as orders for pick up and delivery. The prices of the Boba drink have significantly gone up, but compared to other boba shops, have stayed true to the quality of their tea and how specific the sweetness is for each drink (including ice). Me and my friend got the passionfruit green tea with boba (only I myself got the lychee jelly as an addition) — and needless to say, it was one of the best things that I have gotten! I’ll definitely be coming back soon to check out the other different drinks that they have, but I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody!
We ordered the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea (5/5) and the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with QQ Noodles, both at 15 percent sugar. The QQ Noodles doesn't have much flavor itself, but is fun to chew on without all the extra sugar from the boba. The drink itself had a smooth, light, and creamy texture. TP Tea Cupertino is one of my favorite boba shops in the Bay Area. Specifically this location, I tried the 2 other TP Tea location, they weren't as good as the Cupertino location. There's always a line, I recommend ordering online and picking up. The tea here is strong and flavorful. I tried a bunch of drinks on their menu, and my favorite is probably the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea (15 or 30 percent sugar depending on how I feel). We also ordered the extra spicy popcorn Chicken (4/5). It had a nice spicy kick to it, the chicken was very tender and moist. It made me sweat a bit, but wasn't too spicy on the tongue. If I was to order again I would go for the spicy. The extra spicy had a heavy coat of chili powder, which is a bit too powdery for my partner (was okay for me).
I have been to this Cupertino TP Tea store few times. Last time we went for a team drink. We were a group of 7, it took 20 minutes for our order to arrive at 4 PM on a weekday. The shop was bustling and the employees were working hard to deliver the order soon. They had a lot of varieties, you can either order via phone in Snackpass app or the self-order register. The drink tasted nice and I would repeat it soon.
One of the good bubble tea place in san jose which also exist in seattle! Love the combination tornado thai milk tea since it was light and creamy ! The normal milk tea like jasmine or oolong was also good and strong taste of tea itself which is preferred by some group of people. As you can see in the picture the place is good to hang around and you can sit inside. Will come back and enjoy their snacks food too!
Enjoyed the tea here. Not as good as the original in Taiwan but not bad. A bit pricy and can get pretty busy. Most milk tea stores in the area are upping in prices in general though. Their mango green milk tea and strawberry milk tea are both pretty good. Popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries are good too.
A very solid boba place! The milk tea was great and reminded me exactly of the milk tea I’ve had in Taiwan. However, I was disappointed to receive the smaller boba pearls. I ordered online and didn’t see an option to specify between regular boba and the mini ones. I prefer the larger boba because it offers a more satisfying chew. The mini boba had a good texture but lacked flavor. I’ve heard you can get either, but it seems the mini was all they had when I ordered. Overall, I would go back, especially if I can get the bigger boba!
Am I able to try all boba tea shops in my area in this lifetime of mine? Probably not but I am working on it. 😆 This milk tea store has impressed me with her friendly service and a vibrant energy. The Tie Guan Yin oolong milk tea with vera aloe was heavily flavored with semi-oxidized tea leaves, tasted bittersweet but balanced. I think it's the nature of tea as Tie Guan Yin is roasted tea that is deep, rich, floral and perhaps rocky? (It grows in mountains). Not everyone is gonna like it but I do. The regular boba milk tea used black tea, which is heavier and roastier. The quality was pretty stable. Sugar level and ice level are customizable which is great. Clean store. Good drinks. Friendly service. Next time I'll try their snacks. Highly recommend it.
A pretty busy boba spot with good fried snacks and a modest sized boba drink. I think the tricky part about this place is that it's quite busy on a Sunday afternoon and there aren't enough seats if you want to hang out. I would only visit this place to get takeout and expect your order to take roughly ~20 minutes or so to be ready, so best to place it in advance.
Came here for the first time! I had Taiwan classic milk tea with 30% sugar and less ice. It’s perfect drink and toppings. My friends got Boba milk tea and Strawberry matcha latte. We waited at least 20 minutes for the drinks. Overall we love our drinks and one of my new favorite milk tea spot. Will be back again soon.
Nice authentic place to get tea, has self service ordering, is cash only and many options to choose from. I tried the peach fantasy tea and it was delicious and perfectly sweetened! Unfortunately my drink took a very long time to come out and the popcorn chicken I ordered came out super fast. .it sat on the counter as we waited for the tea and the chicken turned out being under fried resulting in being too chewy/rubbery and soggy batter instead of crunchy. Chicken definitely needed more time in the fryer. Regardless of the chicken i would definitely return but only for the tea. They do a great job on the drinks and prices were super affordable. Highly Recommend for tea!
I’ve been a regular customer at this shop, but this experience was unacceptable. While drinking one of their drinks, I discovered a piece of metal inside. (See photo.) At first, I thought it was just a hair or string, but upon closer inspection, it was a sharp, curved piece of metal—something that could easily be swallowed and cause serious harm. I immediately reached out to both the shop and Snackpass through the app. Neither responded. No apology, no acknowledgment, no refund, absolutely nothing. This is a major safety issue and the complete lack of accountability is shocking
