Fabric Curno Reviews
The place is truly delightful, and when the lights dim, it's even more enchanting. We ate indoors because the weather was changing, and the atmosphere under the porch is wonderful too. The pinsa is delicious. It's very nice to have a drink outside. The atmosphere is lovely.
A truly top place for summer evenings! The atmosphere is relaxed, with lots of outdoor space but also a super comfortable indoor area. The food is a real surprise: everything is delicious, well-prepared and plentiful. But the pizza… simply spectacular! Light dough, quality ingredients and perfect cooking. Friendly and fast staff, they make you feel at home. A place where you gladly return, every time!
Beautiful venue, truly a stunning location, completely renovated and always sold out! A perfect spot for group evenings (reservations highly recommended) featuring good food, excellent cocktails, and music. I haven't personally had the chance to dine here yet, but friends have raved about it, especially the pizzas. I can assure you, the cocktails are truly delicious. I've tried a few of their signature creations so far, and I've loved them all: well-balanced flavors and aromas, perfectly balanced spices, and top-quality ingredients! Note about parking: there's an indoor parking lot, but it's usually full until late. This isn't a big problem, as it's located on Curno's main shopping street, so you can easily find a spot in the surrounding shops.
Amazing place to have dinner / drinks during nice summer day. It is situated in an old barn building and the atmosphere is very cozy. Food is okay and service is not the best but we have to appreciate they are trying to have a table service in an environment that usually doesn’t have it.
FABRIC in the Carlinga farmhouse in Curno is a lovely place, located in the farmhouse courtyard with a large porch area. There are plenty of tables for both dinner and aperitifs, although reservations are recommended for dinner as it's always busy. In any case, you can just grab an aperitif and wait. The staff is very friendly and attentive and takes excellent care of their customers. The menu ranges from pizzas (very good) to burgers, fried foods, and even classic first and second courses. Unfortunately, the selection for vegetarians and vegans is very limited, almost nonexistent, but I'm sure the menu will be expanded for these customers in the future. All in all, Fabric in the Carlinga farmhouse is a great place to spend an evening with friends or family. The prices are fair, and the food is good.
A summer restaurant located in the outdoor courtyard of a farmhouse, very welcoming and with a charming atmosphere, especially under the portico. There are plenty of tables for dining, and there's also the option of setting up large tables for large groups. There's plenty of parking outside for cars and motorcycles. It's the ideal place for dinner or an after-dinner drink with family or friends. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including burgers and pizzas (very good!!). The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is quick. The prices are perhaps a little high, but they're appropriate for the setting.
Great setting, large but not overwhelming, with music playing, pleasant and relaxing. Good pizza, good 🍔, and more. They employ vulnerable young people, and it's very nice. I think there are 21... they serve breakfast in the morning, in short, a nice place to feel a little on vacation 😉
Ideal environment for summer evenings. The pizza is really very good. Only negative note: the fried gnocco, which was served to us too hard and not very puffy, far from the soft and light consistency that you would expect. Even the tartare, although tasty, was perhaps a little too little. Prices slightly above average, overall, however, a pleasant evening.
Excellent restaurant in this charming farmhouse, beautifully decorated with modern tables and chairs. Friendly and professional staff. Excellent food, and prices are moderate, but not cheap. I've been here several times and have always had a great experience. Ample parking is available just outside. Highly recommended!
I've been to this place only once so far, for an event, and I took the opportunity to have breakfast. It's an old farmhouse with a large courtyard mostly occupied by benches and tables. Under the porticoes surrounding the courtyard, there's a bar, a kitchen, a beer tap, and so on. On this occasion, there was also a market selling artisanal products. For breakfast, I had to queue at the bar, partly because there were only two staff serving. The selection is limited: coffee, cappuccino, latte, and a few pastries, which you have to pick up and bring to your table. The prices are quite high given the quality and lack of service. However, I will visit this place again because it's quaint and different from the usual.
The place is certainly beautiful, excellent, and welcoming; whoever had the idea of renovating a beautiful old farmhouse to create a youthful space is a smart person. We stopped by on Sunday lunchtime and had brunch. I ordered a croque monsieur, which was good, but not for €12... I'm absolutely certain that my experience would have been better in the evening, but I think the prices need to be completely reconsidered.
Fabric's new summer space Excellent location and fast staff. I ordered chicken, asking for it well done, and it arrived barely cooked, in my opinion. I asked if it could be cooked further, and was told that the chef thought it was cooked that way and that he wouldn't make it again! I called another waiter, who fortunately listened to my request, telling him that I wouldn't touch it if he could exchange it for a pizza. I think a better answer could be given: in the end, the customer pays, and I'm the one who chooses how the dish is cooked, if you'll allow me.
€43 for an aperitivo for two, with two cocktails, a modest platter, four mozzarella balls, and some onion rings. All this on a bench, and without even being served; you have to get up every now and then to get things. This goes against all logic and the market: for less, you can have a fantastic aperitivo, with much more, beautifully presented, and served at your table.
Inedible and very expensive food!!! Total disappointment!!! I've been wanting to dine at Cascina Carlinga for a long time, so last night, Saturday, July 12, I finally booked with a friend. The location is beautiful and unique in the Bergamo area... a real draw for a different kind of evening... I was immediately disappointed with what I ordered: from the first bite of the "3 bruschetta," the superficiality and lack of attention immediately became apparent, even for such simple food: dry, flavorless, bread that crumbled into a thousand pieces, a quick layer of olive pâté or unseasoned, merely chopped tomato, without a drop of oil or garlic flavor—perhaps prepared for fun in the afternoon by some child... but you pay a whopping €12!!! Next up was bread—like a Mulino Bianco hamburger—with a nondescript meatball topped with a generous amount of purple sauce... plus slow-cooked pink pork ribs (apparently not cooked as pork should be and with no flavor... basically, inedible!)... We asked for a substitution, but the chef refused! We tried to console ourselves with dessert—SAME RESULT! A panna cotta so hard you could barely get a spoon into it... "inedible," and a hard, dry chocolate cake. The only redeemable item were the chips... In our opinion, a bit too cheap for a €70 dinner that was returned almost entirely to the kitchen!!! We left feeling truly disappointed and even a little angry! One final criticism of the bathrooms: for such a large number of patrons, they were simply disastrous! Maybe we'll come back, due to the unique location, but we'll just have a beer.
Terrible food. €60 for a vegan burger (€15), shameful. The Mulino Bianco bread was burnt and inedible. A "platter" of cold vegetables straight from the fridge, without the baked potatoes that were praised on the menu, was €12!!!!. A gourmet burger cost €18.50, acceptable, even if the fries were cold. Luckily, FudBox exists in Bergamo... oh yes, two beers, good.
