Chefika Cafe Mediterranean Dallas Reviews
We were the only ones there. A pretty young lady quickly greeted and seated us. She was super polite and made us feel comfortable. I ordered a "craft your own drink" and the bartender suggested a drink she recommended, and it was so good! Finally, the food came out and it was okay. I ordered chicken and waffles, and it was a tad bit bland, but cooked very well. Super chilled vibe. Overall 8/10.
Today the manager and our waitress was on point with friendly attentive service. Food was phenomenal. Very impressed.
The food was good and reasonably priced. Servers were very nice and attentive and gave me some great recommendations. Plus I lucked up on some free beignets!
Absolutely the best egg and spinach omelette I’ve ever had. The coffee was absolutely yummy and the biscuit beignets are heavenly. Everyone needs to come by this place. It is so delicious.. Alex and Stacy were the best. I love that the chef came out to see how everything tasted.
I had an absolutely wonderful brunch at Another Broken Egg Cafe on Oak Lawn Ave. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between relaxed and refined — bright, comfortable, and inviting, ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a leisurely weekend meal. The service was warm and attentive throughout, making the experience feel genuinely welcoming. The menu offers an excellent variety of creative and delicious dishes. Every bite — from the perfectly cooked eggs benedict and fluffy pancakes to the savory shrimp and grits — was flavorful and beautifully presented. Portions are generous, and the quality of ingredients really shows. Guests also have the option to enjoy handcrafted cocktails alongside classic brunch favorites, which adds a fun and elevated touch to the meal. Important fact: This Oak Lawn location features rotating seasonal dishes curated by their executive chef, so there’s always something new and delightful to try whenever you visit. I highly recommend Another Broken Egg Cafe for anyone looking for great food in a warm, welcoming setting. I’ll definitely be back to sample more from their menu.
We were walking past on the way to lunch elsewhere last Saturday and checking out the menu posted in the cafe window when we were invited in by the manager for the pre-Grand Opening "Friends and Family" event. Plan changed! My husband and I loved the Brunch Blueberry Margaritas - very fresh and delicious. My eggs benedict was perfectly prepared, and a generous portion. The southwest omelet was flavorful, with the the hash browns crispy and well seasoned. We had a side of the rum buttered banana pancakes that was sweet enough to call dessert. All in all, this cafe is a very nice addition to the neighborhood. Last but not least, Taay, did a terrific job with making recommendations and her service was friendly and attentive, especially on a such a busy day.
Josué and Johnathan made our experience very very pleasant! They both were very friendly and attentive! Food was pretty good. We for sure will be back! Thanks!
A must if in the uptown Dallas. The food amazing. The staff excellent. Stevie was on it. Filling our coffee. Even before we had to ask. Welcome to the neighborhood Another Broken Egg.
So I’ve eaten at SO MANY places in this city- so when I tell you this was TRULY a 5-Star experience- I MEAN THAT!!!! Taay, the manager, was hands down so helpful and so attentive. Big Jo? The Chef? All the compliments. The drinks? Amazing. The food? Spectacular. The vibes? Immaculate. See you here on Saturday 🤩
I ordered the Fried chicken Cobb, my boyfriend ordered the Gumbo and we shared Buttermilk pancakes. Everything was very good! My boyfriend is still talking about the Gumbo (lol) My Bloody Mary was on point, too. Shout out to Stevie for making it to perfection! The location is great, clean, had good music playing, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We will be back 100%. Thank you to everyone at Another Broken Egg- Dallas! Congratulations on your GRAND OPENING!!

The experience today was amazing! Thank you to Stevie and Taay for the excellent customer service. They were friendly, attentive and made our first time visit exceptional. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! If you are in the area you have to come to this location.
Possibly the best breakfast/brunch of our lives! Not kidding. Great service. Our server Tay was so fun and helpful and the food was incredible. Go here! We will be back :)
I loved loved loved this place! Food was amazing! But beyond that the entire staff was top tier service. Long story but the entire team beginning with Anthony our server was so nice and on point, and the assistant manager came to check up on our experience! I have found my new go to breakfast place!
Wow!! What a great experience !! Delicious food and wonderful service..we love Stevie ,Reggie and the entire staff..food was delicious and it’s our 5th time back
Stevie is the greatest bartender ever!! And the service i recieved was top tier! Also lets not forget the food is off the chain!! I would recommend this place for brunch all the time!
It's not to loud. Subtle music not ovebearing. Drinks are good and not to strong. Food is made the same each time like it's your first time there. Our waiter talked to us like they knew us for a while. Great energy. Recommended to everyone.
This was our first time here and the ambiance was really really nice. The drinks and food were very tasty especially the house sausage of which were perfect, and the mimosas were also excellent. You have to try the lemon berry mimosas they were great. We noticed that the bar opens up to the patio and we decided to stay a little bit longer and have another mimosa before we leave. To the bartender, we bow down great balance in the drinks. Thank you Reggie and Jacob for a fantastic first visit we will definitely be back. Applause 👏!!!
The staff was so wonderful, friendly and anticipated every need. The restaurant was spotless! The food was excellent. I even had a fabulous mocktail!!What a pleasant experience.
Great new brunch spot! Food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was excellent. Yazmin was our server and she was so kind and attentive. Highly recommend checking this place out!
The main dishes were solid, but the service and attention to detail could be improved. A few items, including our drinks, came out incorrect, and the drinks didn’t arrive until the food was served. I’ve been to other Another Broken Egg Cafe locations in the past that were noticeably better. Since this one is newly opened, hopefully they’ll work out these early kinks over time.

ordered shrimp and grits and side of potatoes and both were good
We sat down over 10 minutes and no one greeted us or anything. We had to flag a person down. Manger found out through a server and he rushed our food out. He was nice and apologetic. My BF enjoyed the food so much we went the next day. There still was some confusion on who would be our server but Chloe was still in training and took the initiative to take our table. BF enjoyed the food as it was his first time dining.

Man, I typically avoid poor reviews and just say nothing at all but this food was a train wreck. On a Friday morning, found on street parking (yay) and service was outstanding. A vanilla cold brew was served black no cream even though menu specified otherwise. Had a southern breakfast bowl which menu specified had sausage gravy, not a drop was ladeled on my bowl, just a glob of lifeless, bland grits and microwaved bacon. The misses ordered skinny platter and got the potato croquettes, which on the outside looked great. All bites beyond the outer fried layer were completely cold in the middle and was simply nasty. I just don't have it in me to send back every single dish with a shortcoming... Hard pass for this iowa guy which is sad as a year ago we visited one of these restaurants in Nashville and it was legit. Sorry team, hopeful this feedback can be used as opportunity to improve.
