Cosmo's Lounge Dallas Reviews
This is one of my favorite bars to frequent! Staff is very attentive, the food is ALWAYS delicious, and they always play my favorite music. The bar can get super loud but it’s always worth it to eat my favorite meal!
Great bar featuring excellent Vietnamese fusion food, a good selection of liquor, and an ambiance that is one of a kind. I don't know how to describe it...awesome little back patio with a gas fire pit.
Cosmo’s came through clutch on Christmas. I’ve had several good friends recommend Cosmo’s and it exceeded expectation. I love bar culture and my first time there I felt like a regular. The food was fantastic. Don’t miss this Dallas experience
I frequent this place (as do most Dallas folks) but, if you’re visiting Dallas from another state (or even country) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE swing by and try their food. The drinks are just the cherry on top. *DISCLAIMER: full menu ends @ 11 PM!! Limited menu LATE NIGHT!! Confirm with bartender* It took me about a year and a half to finally try their food and they got some HEAT! Steamed dumplings: 10/10 • Nice, tender & delicious in a rich and SENSATIONAL broth they call liquid gold (it is!) Caramelized onion shrimp Bánh Mì: 10/10 Lemon grass beef Bánh Mì: 10/10 Korean pork belly tacos: 10/10 • obsessed with these tacos. I forced myself to eat them after I had eaten a late dinner AND half an order of dumplings. Pork belly was tender and fatty layer went well with the tangy kimchi, all on a flour tortilla. • to up the flavor/spice profile a bit, I suggest asking about the sauce they keep behind the bar Drinks are somewhat limited but the select few are solid and bartenders are awesome! Shout out Anita! Need to go back and try the pizza & ramen?
My all time favorite dive in Dallas. The holidays are not complete without a visit to Cosmo’s 😆 Have been here multiple times over the years and I always have a great time.
Don’t be fooled by the funky, eclectic dive-bar vibe—the food here is next-level. The soup dumplings come swimming in the most flavorful broth, the shrimp banh mi packs a punch, and the mushrooms—coated in a sweet, tangy brown sauce—are downright addictive. You’ll eat off paper plates and sip from plastic cups, but that only adds to the charm. With food this good, you won’t mind a bit.
Cosmos!! Lotsa food on our table, but I got a vegetarian banh mi (tofu) and it was loaded with pickled daikon and carrot ❤️ on some crunchy French bread! Also, shiitake mushrooms that I stuck into my banh mi. It was cool to see bowls of soup at a bar. They’ve got comfy chairs and groovy lighting. I love ordering seaweed rolls past 11pm from their late night bite menu. They get me by.
Little guy with the sideburns behind the bar is pretty rude. Maybe stop hitting so many lines in the bathroom and you'd be better equipped to handle a wave of customers without the tantrum. (5 stars for the atmosphere and food.)
Cosmos is my favorite pho in Dallas hands down and one of my favorite dive bars. It's just a nice chill bar that's great for hanging out and talking with people. I like their little patio in the back too for groups if it gets too loud or crowded inside. And if you want to play pool or change the scenery you can always go next door to the Landing.
Came here after work around midnight so only had access to the late night menu. I highly recommend the Mekong tacos! Spicy and so flavorful it surprised me, i ordered it twice! The Supreme pizza was really good as well and ordered that twice. All the drinks we got were really tasty and strong. Espresso martini (GAVE ME SO MUCH ENERGY AFTER WORK 😂), Lychee martini (sweet and refreshing), Old fashioned (loved the citrus aroma), and French 75 (sparkly action!). Service was great and friendly. Even the people at the bar were friendly! Very nice atmosphere with the music and moody lighting. Overall was not expecting to enjoy the whole experience as much as I did. Will definately come back for the full menu to try out! Update: Came back for the full menu. The beef pho, kimchi tater tots with pork belly, fried dumplings were all good. I wanted to try the ox tail pho but the soup wasn't ready since it takes a long time to cook. Will come back for it!
I can't believe I have never been into visit this amazing location. It's like someone rummage through everyone's '70s '80s trash and dropped off the best parts here. Lighting, chairs, and knick knacks immediately took me back to growing up way back when. And don't forget all of the amazing VHS tapes that surround the bar. More movies than your mama or grandma used to have. The staff is super nice The drinks were super fast and I would definitely come back here again and again.
Such a cool, funky dive bar. Tried the paloma and loved it…fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and squirt which I much more prefer over the grapefruit soda other places use, so fresh and tasty. And had heard about the food here and it did not disappoint! The oxtail and beef pho were amazing. Enjoyed the dumplings too! Only wish I lived closer!
Food was great! Served quickly and delicious. The service for the bar was a bit slow. Drinks were great and tasty.
Been here twice. Both times, we felt discriminated against because we are Latino. One server was particularly rude! It's sad because their menu and the vibe is pretty top-notch. Sadly, the service is not up to par. I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this. It just feels fake and passive aggressive.
Food was great! Service was complete trash, bartenders are so rude, especially the guy with long hair. If you don't serving people, find another job.
