LAVA is the SPOT! The vibe is so Las Vegas from the sound system to the incredible light show! Definitely not like anything else in on the strip! The staff is hot the drinks are strong! Def suggest checking out this spot if you haven’t already!
Forget uptown and deep ellum - This is THE spot. All the great attributes of a club, without the dallas pretentiousness, and of course is in the gayberhood. Amazing staff, great bottle service options, music on point, and always a good vibe.

Staff and bartenders are amazing, the DJ will have you dancing all night. Everyone’s always grooving and having a party. It’s always a good night at Lava
I absolutely love this spot! The atmosphere is always on point and the music is consistently great. Every time my friends and I visit, we have an incredible time. The entire bar staff is top-tier, but Brian is a total standout he really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. Highly recommend!
Lava is my go to place for a night of fun, the energy is amazing from everyone. The bartender Brian is always a sweetheart and never a dull moment ordering my drinks from him <3

Amazing customer service. Love the music! Everybody that works there is a great time! Can’t wait to go back and dance the night away.
Really nice music plus Lava is mine and my friends go to place every time we go we get to see our favorite bartender Brian
Exceptional Accessibility and Accommodating Service at Lava Lounge I recently visited Lava Lounge and was truly impressed by how accommodating they are for individuals with disabilities and injuries. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering assistance without hesitation and making adjustments to ensure accessibility. Navigating social spaces can often be challenging when dealing with mobility concerns, but Lava Lounge exceeded expectations by providing a welcoming and inclusive environment. Their attentiveness, patience, and willingness to make modifications—whether it was seating arrangements, accessibility considerations, or just checking in—made all the difference in my experience. It’s rare to find a venue that genuinely prioritizes inclusivity, and I highly recommend Lava Lounge to anyone looking for a great time in a space that values every guest’s needs. I truly appreciate their commitment to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable!
Went out with friends for a birthday party and ended up at Lava. We had a great time. Great music and Premium drinks. The lights and sound are very good. We really liked the hot bar tenders and how engaging they were. Several times through out the evening they worked the crowd with eliminated signs and danced on the bar in a storm of confetti! We will definitely return to try the bottle service. This is a great new addition to the strip and I highly recommend it!

What a fun place to be, we had bottle service and great music and entertainment all around us! The manager of the club came out to great us and treated us like true guests for the night. Talk about hospitality the manager was definitely on point. Highly recommend if you plan to go with a great group of friends. Will be going back again soon!
Celebrated my 30th at this club and had such a fun time! The bartenders were really hot and great at dancing. The music was loud and pumping. The servers took such great care to make sure everything was just perfect. Will definitely be coming back!
My new favorite bar. I loved the music I feel like it’s the only place playing music with hip hop. Also loved that muscle bartender he was so nice and sweet & was very active with the crowd! The location is a little small but the idea is very different on the strip & could do amazing! 🔥

Reasonable drink prices, welcoming, bartender didn't seem to have the typical rolodex of drinks. Every time we ordered something we got something not quite wrong, but not quite right either. Odd but good. Went with friends and had a blast.
Honestly a great vibe, but idk what's up with the demanding of tips from the bartenders. I cant tip at the end when im ready to leave?? im still drinking. They have a problem if your not tipping every drink out. Ruins the experience.

Was in Dallas for the weekend celebrating a friends birthday and we stopped by Lava. The bouncer guy told us to come back at a later time, when we came back it was super crowded and now of course the bouncer charged me $20 a head. Here I am thinking it’s for the club and he rudely insist that I send it to his personal cash app. Would not recommend!

Get security. I mean actual security. Not the lazy ones you have that only want to meet women. People that want to have a good time don’t go here. This is only for the wanna be tough guys. All the other bars Security don’t play that. Go to the others on the block. They are safe.
I would not recommend this bar, especially to Hispanic/Latino patrons or women. This was my first time visiting, and it was an extremely uncomfortable and upsetting experience. My friends and I were called racial slurs, specifically “ghetto Mexicans,” by a black man and were told to leave as in we are not welcomed. That kind of language and treatment is completely unacceptable. The environment also felt unsafe for women. My friends and I experienced repeated inappropriate physical behavior from men. One of my friends was touched from behind on private areas without consent. Additionally, men were standing directly behind us and pressing their bodies, including their genitals, against our backs. This happened to me and my friends and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I have been to many bars and have never experienced behavior like this anywhere else. This was not a respectful or safe environment, and I strongly suggest going elsewhere if you want to feel comfortable and secure.
I visited this place for the first time few days ago and the “manager” that goes by Pio was very intoxicated and started problems with my friends that did no harm to him or anyone there. He kicked everyone out about 1:20AM and went upstairs to cut the music off. Rude and unprofessional. Why was he working the bar while being intoxicated? Seems like a case for TABC! He also went outside and tried to fight my friends. He made the place look ghetto, on top of that he took his shirt off to fight. Silly Billy. Let’s not mention the overly priced drinks & the minors that security lets in. He doesn’t check IDs!
Not a bar I’d ever recommend after my recent experience - my husband was attacked by someone who clearly was over served here and their security wouldn’t identify the attacker. They wouldn’t answer or talk to me about anything because they don’t care about what happens to you inside the club. I wouldn’t go back.
The DJ is trash! They don’t pay nothing up to date! They hold the line and it’s empty inside. Overall BLAH OF A TIME…
Been here a few times and every time is the same thing. Small venue which is fine but everyone is pushing eachother. Bartenders don’t care and will skip over you multiple times because there is someone more attractive it seems. Just poor service.
Neat concept but this isn't Vegas and this type of concept is going to fail miserably in the neighborhood. Drinks are WAY over priced. The space is WAY to small. The fact that like 80% of the space that they have is roped off and reserved only for over priced bottle service is a joke. People don't come to the strip to spend hundreds on bottle service. They want decently priced drinks and to dance. Both times I've been, the "Bottle Service" areas were dead empty when they could use that space to expand their customer capacity. And read your bill carefully. They up front slap a "Service Charge" and Gratuity no matter what to your bill. I'm not going to spend $40+ on 2 drinks. If this place doesn't ditch this "VIP Bottle Service" mantra and lower their prices and ditches these ridiculous service fees, they will be closed in 6 months. You can definitely have more fun for half the cost elsewhere on the strip.
A friend and I came to this club while visiting Dallas and the owner asked my friend and I to leave the section we were in because we were dancing. It’s a gay club so of course we’re going to dance but because he was with two women it wasn’t acceptable for him at the time. How do you own a gay club but bothered about gay men dancing in your presence? It’s tacky and unappreciative because we’re just who you want in your club..! It was definitely an embarrassment and poor class. We were only respectfully having a good time and was excused for doing just such. I would highly recommend not supporting this establishment.
Yikes. I've never bothered to go in here before and won't bother again. I was on the second floor and another group was having a good time dancing. After 10 minutes a staff member showed up and asked us all to vacate. I didn't think much of it. My partner had gone downstairs for a drink. He returned and walked upstairs and I tried to signal him that we had been asked to vacate. I asked a staff member what was going on - he looked at me like I was dirt and told me the screen upstairs was worth $100,000 and walked off. Dude - I get it. I helped open 100 retail stores with $1,000,000+ of screens, each for a major fortune 500 brand. 1) Why would you install something like this in dancing range of drunk people? 2) Also, don't treat every customer like a criminal. I totally get wanting to protect your expensive and nice, fancy lighting, sound, visual equipment. But it also would have been suitable just to ask folks not to touch it.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BELONGINGS STOLEN!!!!! my friend and i went here for the first time, trying clubs out supporting the night life of dallas. while we were here, my friend couldn’t find her phone and we went to the staff for assistance. all we got was blank stares and shrugs, then were ultimately dismissed. at the time, the club was about to close and as the people left, we tried again and were told to leave because the club just closed. we talked to the bartenders, the body guards and servers and all of them couldn’t have cared less. didn’t even BOTHER to pretend to look to save face. needless to say, we won’t be returning because who in their right mind would wanna go somewhere where they don’t feel cared for or understood. i get it, this probably happens on a regular basis but show some kind of empathy because that would’ve saved the experience. way to kick a dog when it is down.

Unprofessional staff with 0 communication between each other. You got a bartender downstairs selling VIP to get a cute little tip in her pocket, then the “manager” upstairs kicking us out as if we didn’t just spend money on a bottle. There were many ways this situation could have been rectified if the bartender messed up, but to just kick us out of the VIP area?? No ma’am. Moved on and got VIP at TMC. ✌🏼

This place deserves zero stars for lack of respect and customer service. During my visit in Dallas this past weekend, I went here with some friends. The ambience is nice but the customer service is horrible. I ordered a Top Shelf Long Island from the bar. I tasted it and it was opposite of a Long Island. To ensure it wasn’t my taste bud, I had my friend taste it and he agreed. I then receive a receipt for $25. I informed the bartender that the drink do not taste like a $25 Long Island. Nor did it taste like a Long Island as it was extremely distasteful. The bartender then call over the bar manager. I explained the situation and I asked the manager if he could remake the drink because it didn’t taste like a Long Island. Without evening tasting the drink the manager suddenly became rude with me and told me that I can either take the drink or he can refund me and escort me out the club. At this point, I could not believe what I heard and did not want anything to do with the location. So, I left and went to Mr. Mister and proudly gave them my money.
