Really terrific experience with the staff member that Helped me with my order. She was terrific. Offered me samples of the sauce and was patient and professional while I decided on my order.

Ordered through DoorDash. Food came fast and fresh. But dasher Yini stole the 2 fish out of our order. Called the store and they completely understood once I explained what happened and even had picture proof of bag being tampered with. They took care of me and gave me absolute amazing customer service. Lisa I believe I’m so sorry if I’m wrong (the manager) and the other young lady who helped take care of me were both absolutely amazing. I thank y’all so much again for everything!

My family went yesterday and what amazing service we received! We are a family of 5 and three littles who are super picky and indecisive. The young woman was incredibly patient and kind. At the end, I thanked the manager and let her know how incredible her employee was. I asked her who had to clean up the mess and she said she did. So I slid her the customary “I’m sorry tip” and she gave it to the amazing employee who had taken our order!!! I thought that was awesome.

came here a couple times for Uber Eats, and each time i had to cancel the order because the worker would not answer the speaker or window, and if they did answer it they tell you it’s already been picked up. might wanna look into a different one for the family!

I live in Forest Lane at Abrams in Dallas Texas. I haven't been to Long John Silver's in years. This was a combo LJS/ A&W Restaurant. The last one's in Dallas!!! The food was good. The nostalgia brought back many great memories....

This Long John Silvers/A&W we went to while in Dallas was a very pleasant surprise! As we got there we were not sure they were open as it was very dark outside. I pulled in the drive-thru and they were. The order taker sounded a little less than enthused to take our order, but he was patient as I didn't know what I wanted because I had not been to one in a while. There is not one where I live. We had to wait at the window a while to get our food, but once we did it was hot and fresh! This was the best chicken I've had! I ordered the fish/chicken combo with hush puppies, rice and corn. It was all good! Crispy, hot, tasteful, buttery. Going from not knowing if they were open, to worrying if the food was going to be good because the worker didn't sound like he wanted to be there, to our food being wonderful was weird, but amazing! This establishment could be a goldmine with the right people working there!

Probably one of my best experiences at any Long John Silvers. Stopped in for a quick lunch dining in. The cashier was very friendly and my order was quickly filled. I ordered the 3 piece fish and fries combo. The fish, fries, and hushpuppies were hot and fresh. The extra crispies on the bottom weren't quite as fresh as everything else though. Will definitely stop in again next time I get a craving for LJS.

The place looks like you are going to get robbed so its for the best the dine in area was closed. Never had any issues with the food though and workers were always nice.

I have been here before but it had been a while since I moved away farther. Well last night I passed by my old neighborhood and stopped by the Drive thru window. The employee on the intercome greeted me and waited as long as I needed for me to look over the menu options. Most of the time now adays employees dont sound as cheerful and patiently wait to take your order but this employee did ..I felt valued immediately thru that intetcome, Next when I pull up to the window I was greeted by the same employee " Mackenzie " . MACKENZIE took my money and got my drink. This employee did let me know they were working on getting me my freshest order and it might take a bit longer which I had no problem with waiting with the kind way Mackenzie delivered that news. Then while I waited Mackenzie would occasionally check in on me to let me know they was still working on my order. It made me feel valued and not forgotten like just another typical drive thru window. Finally I get my order, Mackensie offers any condiments to go with my order and I asked if I could please have extra than the usual on those condiments , Gladly Mackensie said absolutely and I got extra. I forgot to mention I also asked for extra crunchies and Mackensie said Yes Crums I will get you extra. I didnt feel stupid calling them crunchies becuase mackensie made me feel understood. I loved this drive thru experience as before I have had not so good experiences. Thank you for having such a great Employee representing this Location. I hope that Mackenzie gets the recognition deserved because thats how you grow as a business with 5 Star employees. My order was a number 7 with added fish plank and an order of shrimp. Thank you Mackenzie because of you I will continue to come visit my neighborhood more offten and order my usual.

My family went here for lunch recently. Hadn't had ljs in a while. Good food, absolutely loved their fish as always. The cashier who took our order was really nice as well.

Love long johns. Only reason its getting 4 starts and not 5 is because last time i ate there, there was ants in my soda cup. Idk if they were on the soda fountain or in the cup prior to me getting my drink but 4 out of 5.

The Fish and Chips were Cooked fresh as after we ordered . The sides were made fresh with good ingredients and it was hot outside and cool inside . Service was great!

The fish and chicken was cooked good usually the other LJS location i go it had a nasty after taste like the grease they cooked it in was old. They took a long while to give us our order but at least it was cooked good. And they should use the other fries that LJS locations use not A&W fries. So that's why i rated it a 4

The service is good. They were relatively fast considering the length of the line. The only issue is it a a long john silvers and an A&W. Due to this you get A&W fries instead of long john silvers fries. A&W fries are not good. If you are a fan of LJS fries like I am this we be off putting for you.

Food tastes great, and the place is kept pretty clean. It's a nice, quiet place to sit down and eat if you don't have a lot of time. The last couple times I've been, the cashier was rather rude and seemed irritated that I wasn't sure how the menu worked. (Which was partially on me. The menu is simple, I was just tired at the time.) Otherwise, I enjoy eating here.

It's fried food. It's terrible and it's delicious. The people are nice which helps you feel better about your choice of dinner. There is a darkness that surrounds such things. It's not that you've given up, it's that you've decided you NEED a meal of shame. Embrace the decision and don't look back for therein lies madness. I recommend the #13. It's the Super Sampler which comes with two kinds of shrimp, fish, and a chicken plank. You'll save the chicken plank for last and you want the tarter sauce AND the cocktail sauce. You're welcome, friend.

This is the last decent Long John Silvers in the area. Carrollton floors were slick and food was old. Plano off Parker not bad. Beltline/Plano $7 for 1,fish 1 fry. A&W LJS on Forest Lane 1 fish, 1 fries with water $5.25. Clean. Well managed. Food quality very good. I try to eat at LJ a few times a year and have since 1970. Had "real" fish and chips at a pub in Great Britain 2016. Fist full of green peas (untouched). A piece of fried fish as big as dinner plate with skin still on (yuck) French fries cost $30. Food rating 2 out of 5 stars. LJS for $7, 5 stars. New special for Summer 2025 not on the menu. "Fish Basket" = 2 fish, 2 hush puppies, fries, $6.50. Welcome back 1995!!!

I had not eaten at a Long John Silver's in years. I was invited to lunch and it was So Good! The only thing I missed was the Crispies at the bottom, those were my fave, but I still enjoyed the meal. Everyone was friendly and the Atmosphere was so cool and clean. I will go back.

Long John Silver's is home to some decent fast sea food at a sorta high price range. There's a few affordable combo's but adding extra fish pieces and whatnot adds up quick. This particular location is kinda dumpy with booths in need of repair and in a sketchy part of town, but they still serve up good food which is what matters. Just get it to go.

Food was tasty and the onion rings were very big and hot. The only problem was the front cash register wasn't working, so they had to keep walking back and forth to the drive-in register to ring up things and the dining room floor was filthy

I Uber Eats LJS and the experience was less than enjoyable. My sister and I are feeling salty and greasy, heavy stomachs. Greasy fish and chicken, fries chewy and cold..as if they'd taken the old fish grease,cooked the food and it had been sitting forever. They'd forgotten to add 2 orders of clams (surely if they were any reference to the fries,fish and chicken..we dodged another bullet). I did enjoy the hush puppies. I've always loved LJS but this time you guys failed this order. Get it together guys.

Too many pan handlers, watching to see if you are spending cash or plastic so they can ask for your change, sometimes they become angry if you don't give them money. The food was ok, workers were courteous. You can't eat in, only takeout is allowed.

There is only one person cooking the food and she takes a while to get around. I ordered my food and it was not dropped in the grease until 3-5 minutes later. I almost left due to the time and I was on my way to work. Please get help or let one of the other employees help cook.

I ordered a #13 shrimp, fish, chicken and popcorn chicken. Didn't get my popcorn chicken. Ordered a #12 for sis in law chicken shrimp and fish, she didn't get any shrimp. Otherwise the food was good just didn't get everything

I got the #1 combo with Mac and cheese. It was good not as crunchy it could have been.

I love Long John Silver's, this wasn't the best fish I have had, but it was some of the best fast food service I have had in a while. The young lady knew there products, specials and how I could obtain what I wanted for the best price. They were very accommodating, not something we usually get via fast food chains. Get job ladies. If in the area I would give them another try.

Food is delicious, but on the greasy side, so it's definitely not a good place to eat if you're on a diet. My biggest issue with it is just how expensive it is

This was the worst Long John Silver I have eaten at in years. The food was fried hard, yet greasy. The soda had a bad aftertaste.

I was overcharged because the app didn't take off for my coupon, and they forgot my onion rings.

I love long Jong but I purchased the shrimp with fish and the green beans they only had like literally 7- 10 green beans in there and the coleslaw was bitter as heck is usually too sweet but today it was like it's so bitter waste of money today. Seems as if they're trying to save money because the container that it came in was so small you couldn't even eat out of it so I had to take everything out and put it on the plate you know the fish shrimp with more that's a lot of food into a fish sandwich box unacceptable. I will say the green beans were very delicious and the shrimp was cooked properly

Drive through line was horrible. They are extremely slow then you are trapped in the line with the concrete bumpers. I spent a good 30 minutes trapped in line to get a $5 sandwich. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE HUNGRY. Worst long john silvers experience ever, they did not have any sense of gentr urgency bc they knew everyone who ordered could not leave. Food was just ehh.

Hope this kind of thing does not continue... Went there on today's date around 1pm... Pulled on the door and it was locked, noone came to the door... Few second later a woman cones around the corner and tild her the doors are locked, she shrugged her shoulders, then an employee comes to the door and opens it for her... Said "excuse me, are you open?" He says only the drive through and pointed to her..."oh she works here"... She works there and could not tell me that??? Do they hire people who don't care enough or don't pay them enough to care??? Customer service is severly suffering...

i hadn't been to a The Long John Silver's A&W restaurant in some years & couldn't wait to get my hands on a burger. My wife was ready for seafood and I understood, I kind of wanted some fish & shrimp myself. However I recalled how tasty & of a decent size the burgers were last I visited, which happened to be around 2012. Well as expected the seafood was great, hot & crispy, & seasoned to perfection. However that A&W burger was hot but small as heck. The burger was highly over priced, I'd rather had just went & gotten a Big Mac across the street. Seems burger joints aren't as proud about their product as they once were. I would return for the seafood again but definitely just make my own burgers from now on from home. I would have given five stars had I not spent a fortune on a burger meal designed for a toddler.

It was super salty and the ratio of fish to batter was ridiculous. The chicken was dry and the fries were cold, and on top of that neither order was right. But I was not about to wait in line for another 45 mins to tell them. I appreciate them because they said they were doing everything by hand but it was a really bad experience.

Waited for a half hour for two meals. Went to drive through and no one answered. Didn't get a receipt from my food. Shrimp was half cooked. Lady at drive thru just stood at the window. Was not happy about this trip to LJS. They need a good manager to be there to put them in check or make them work.

Dont order close to closing time, i took one bite from 3 different pieces of fish and threw it all away. Eat LJ's about twice a week and this was my worst experience EVER! $13 WASTED and had to go back out for food again. Sry LJ's but y'all didnt even earn that 1 star, im being generous.

Ordered chicken sandwich with cheese and extra lettuce. Chicken slimy, very undercooked, and falling apart along with the rest of the sandwich. Competitors sandwiches on Value Menu's are of much better quality than this $5 sandwich. Not to mention competitiors $5 options. The wait time was extremely long to receive food as well despite being the only customer. To the point I turned off my car for a long while. Worst sandwich and wait time ever. Reminded me why I never visited Long Johns/A&W in years.

Went through the drive thru. Ordered 2 meals. It took over 10 minutes to get the food which was cold. Asked for malt vinegar did not get it. Went inside to get it. No one even came to the counter or acknowledge me in anyway. They seemed way more interested in the accident across the street that customers.

Salmon...DRY DRY.... my number 11 super greasy. My son's burger small and cold as if it had been sitting there. This long John's will be closed soon like the other's. So unfortunate cause I used to love this, but management and staff just don't give a dang what they serve you.

What a joke. We decided that we would go to Long Johns and there was not any customers. I wonder why? My friend and I went in and was about 3 people in sight that was working. Several minutes went by and no one came to wait on us. They look at us and just keep singing and doing nothing. We decided that we would just leave and go to Whataburger.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! Not like it used to be years ago. The fish & chicken was about as inedible as you can get. And the hush puppies were so old & hard, I banged them on the center console of my car & the hush puppies just crumbled into many pieces. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS STUFF. Ac was making a very loud sound, so loud I couldn’t hear the man taking my order. When I did get my food I received the saltiest burger I have ever tried. I could not take more than a couple bites. Stay away from this place.

I left the food section blank. BECAUSE, after placing my order online and paying for it, I'm still waiting for my food 30 minutes later. Order confirmed at 11:24. Arrived for pick-up, still waiting and it's now 12:06. Staff was rude upon asking for my order. Oh and my order, no one ever even looked at it. Not one single item is ready. 2 cars in drive through, 1 couple inside eating and 2 others waiting for orders. This is bad. Especially when you "opened" at 10:30. Stay away from this place if you are in a time pinch. I give them a pinch star ⭐🤏.... It's definitely not worth the effort.

Wow. After taking 10 minutes of waiting for our order to be taken; watching an employee change the ice machine creamer with no gloves. It was disgusting watching the flies fly OUT of the ice machine top when the lid was removed. They finally took our order, put it in wrong, and had to cancel the order since they do not have the ability to modify. After taking my drinks, I asked if the man at the soda machines should have a shirt on or not. The employee said there's nothing she can do. We had the JOY of watching a shirtless-homeless man while we ate our food. WILL NEVER RETURN.  NOR SHOULD YOU.

It's been a long time since I've eaten LJS, and never here in Dallas. I used to love LJS, it was so good. Ordered from here with Ubereats and it was TERRIBLE. I spent $30 on garbage I'm going to have to throw away. Fries were cold on arrival, the meat is way too greasy and salty and all they gave me was 3 tartar sauce packets for $20 worth of food. Seriously, 3 packets!! Being stingy might help your numbers in the short run, but I can guarantee I will not purchase food from this place again. I can only imagine others feel the same way.

I just received my order Ticket#9899 in missing things on my order and no one wants to answer the phone. I should have known coming from Forest Lane it was gonna be messed up. I want a discount place back to me for my order not being right order extra fish not in the box my side of rice was not in the bag. Called up to the store finally got someone and the Manager Carolyn stated that she being making the order and I stated well you messed up my order. She stated that she could not help me and hung up on my while I was talking. Y'all need to be careful who y'all hire in y'all company. Literally had to jump thre curb to get out of the horribly long wait in drive thru. There were only 2 cars in front of us and we didn't move for 20 minutes. When I finally saw the first car get their order... it was one small box!! Come on they could of been asked to pull around so the other customers could of been accommodated. Horrible service!! Definitely not going back to this location Normally I live Long John Silvers. Yet this certain location didn't cut it for me. I was in the area this day & my parents wanted fish. The food didn't taste like what we are normally familiar with. My order didn't taste hot & fresh. My fries weren'tfresh & hot. I wasn't satisfied. Even my tea tasted a lil different.

Air conditioning was not turned on. We started sweating as soon as we walked in. Mind you we went as soon as they opened. Not having AC during Texas summer heat is unforgivable. Also, the drinks were from 2L bottle, order was incorrect had to make 3 corrections, corn and green beans were salty.

Went to dine in a few Fridays ago around 645pm, but the dining room was closed. I asked the lady at the window why the doors are locked she said she was the only one there. She was awesome but the fact no employees want to show up for their shift is pathetic. Then I ordered a individual cole slaw and the container it was in was definitely not worth the price, you get half a serving in the little container it was put in SMH...to say the least if I'm gonna pay full price for something I want, I need it to be worth it!!! A tablespoon of coleslaw is not worth $2.00 plus tax😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

The employees literally eat while cooking the food and the dine in was not open. When asked to speak to a manager, he said "People are human and work 80 hours a week here of course they have to eat." Not saying I disagree, but I'm pretty sure that what breaks are for. Anyhow, he had an attitude after pointing out the employee eating while working. Maybe he needs a refresher on management and break times. A sign stating that they only have drive through available would also be helpful.

I place 2 online orders. I come to pick it up. The mgr gave both of my orders to someone else. They refuse to remake my orders. I am out over $80. I even talked to their store manager Laura. I was told that they were not going to do anything about it. I was told by one of their employees that the mgr on duty today gave someone else's order to the wrong person last week. Their computer showed it was NOT a doordash order. So, why did they?

Horrible experience. I placed an order online and arrived a few minutes after my order was “ready” I go through the drive thru and they ask us to pull to the front, no biggie. After 20 minutes my husband went to the door and it was locked. It was 9pm and they closed at 10. Long story short, the manager was very unprofessional with a nasty attitude. Not only disrespectful to customers but she was treating the only employee she had like garbage. LJS should definitely be looking into this location.

The amount of food. I purchased the two fish with six shrimp combo. For the price I paid $14.39 is not worth it. Sorry, this is not acceptable anymore. Inflation is bad everywhere. But seriously, Long John Silver just lost a long time customer.😒 I will definitely be not coming to any location. I would rather go to Crazy Catfish. At least I will get good enough portion. Worst service ever!!!! I ordered the 8 piece family special. Requested all fish and 6 shrimp…. Get home and my order is all the way wrong! We received 4 fish and 4 chicken and no one in my family eats chicken…. I also only received THREE SHRIMP when I PAID FOR SIX SHRIMP! The fries were even shorted on but they made sure to give us a hell of a lot of coleslaw! I have been calling and no one is answering the phone! Not to mention they didn’t have any cars behind us or anyone waiting! This is horrible service and for no one to answer the phone is even worst! Feel like I just gave them my money and received no food…. **** UPDATE**** We appreciate Long John Silvers workers Lisa & Laura because we received a follow up from our review online. They were willing to fix our order and apologized for the mistake. We just want to say thank you for providing us with such excellent service in a timely manner!

Where do I start, I ordered my burger plain. Apparently this location does not know what only cheese meat and bacon means. I had to remind them about the BBQ sauce and no shakes available. This is not a good experience.

I am literally and absolutely disgusted. They served me raw meat…. RAW. First they took forever, then I take a bite out of my meal and it’s raw meat???? Barely just the skin cooked. Overpriced and undervalued. Legalized theft and ridiculous food quality. Ordered several items including an individual size side of corn which was spoiled and after counting it it included less than 150 beads of corn for $1.99. Warning to others is do not buy individual sides unless you like to give your money to the long John thieves. Just look at the pictures. You can buy at least two pounds or two can of coins and heat it up yourself for this ridiculous price.
