What incredible hospitality! I called in a to-go order and walked from my hotel. The city sidewalks were clean and safe. I saw parking around the building and there are some close parking garages as well. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and warmth. When the hostess went to the kitchen to get my food boxed and bagged, two other staff saw me waiting in the short time I waited and asked if I’d been helped or needed anything. The kitchen can be barely viewed behind the bar and I appreciated the intimacy and accountability for a calm and clean kitchen. And the FOOD! Wow. House-made tortillas and everything was so fresh and tasty. Love in every bite. Since I did takeout I went with something simple that could easily be eaten from a to-go container. I got the 8 toastaditos carne asada. Crisp tortillas (but not over done) that stayed crisp even after my walk back to my hotel room. The meat and beans were perfect seasoned and not spicy at all. Refreshing toppings of cheese, sour cream, lettuce, pico. The sauce to dip them in was slightly too spicy for me (I’m pretty weak with spice) but had good flavor when I used it as a hot sauce to compliment each bite. Absolutely delicious, filling, and refreshing!
I came in today for lunch and had an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, the host greeted me warmly and made me feel truly welcome. I sat at the bar, where the bartender, Jairo, took great care of me and made an excellent carajillo cocktail and margaritas. While I was there, Manuela checked in on me and was incredibly sweet and attentive. She took the time to recommend several dishes and suggested the Carne Asada plate, which was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and juicy, and it came with perfectly soft, handmade corn tortillas (forgot to take a picture of the food because it was that good) Overall, I’ll definitely keep coming back for the outstanding hospitality from Manuela and Jairo, as well as the delicious food.
Ate here for lunch while on a work trip, Bailey from Hyatt Regency recommended. It did not disappoint, food was fantastic! Reasonably priced for today’s market. Salsa was tasty, with a little spice. Mariela was my waitress, she was friendly and attentive, she recommended the Carne Asada. Meat was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Ate my entire meal. Had a Margarita La Casa, it also was well made and had good flavor. 10/10 recommend.

Our first time here and wow. Definitely blew me and my fiancé away. We will definitely be back! Everything is made fresh and the quality reflects not only in the food but the drinks as well! Our server Fernanda was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable of the menu, very pleasant young lady. The manager was very sweet with us as well, she stopped by our table to inquire on how our visit with them was going and if there was anything she could get us. We got to talking and she graciously gifted us a dessert of our choice on the house. Everything was a 10/10!
Had a great experience at Meso Maya! The food was excellent—especially the frozen margarita, tamale, and the carne asada. Everything was flavorful and came out perfectly. The service was just as impressive. Fernanda went above and beyond and even helped us find my husband’s missing wallet, which we were so grateful for. That kind of care really stood out. Parking validation was also quick and easy, which made the visit even smoother. We’ll definitely be back!

For dessert, both options were amazing, but the standout was the ice cream with corn paired with chocolate cake. It sounds unusual, but the combination is perfect: the subtle corn sweetness balances the rich chocolate beautifully. Highly recommend this place for its incredible service, delicious authentic interior Mexican dishes, and vibrant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Dallas!

Had a great time, inside, quiet, cozy, great service, tasty food 😋 and cocktails 🍸. Valet parked my car, though there is plenty parking at the back of the building. The Ribeye 🌮 was Amazing. Outdoor patio sitting available with beautiful view of Dallas downtown. Will definitely be visiting again ☺️
The service was very good, food was plentiful and tasty. Drinks were also very well made. We will be returning. Well worth the money. They do validate parking, if you park on the lot, just ask the hostess for a validation.
It was our first time coming here and we were blown away. We came for my birthday dinner, and Ruben the manager and Nancy our waitress were so friendly, telling us about the menu and the service. At the end of the dinner, they brought out a delicious slice of chocolate cake withorn ice cream, which I've never had before but was pleasantly surprised by! Can't recommend enough. Food was incredible, service was great, 10/10 I'll be back.

Came here for a late lunch with friends and had the best experience! Belinda was our server and she was very personable and attentive! While waiting for our appetizers, the manager Fernando brought over tacos de aguacate for us to try! Although it’s a simple dish it was so good! The avocado was perfect and the handmade tortillas were amazing!! I sadly was not able to try the cochinita pibil but I got the pollo con mole! I loved it! The portions are huge!! I loved the plantains that it came with! I love authentic mexican food and you can tell that everything here is fresh and made with care! It’s a beautiful restaurant with great food and a great staff! Will be returning the next time we’re in Dallas for sure!

The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a night out with friends or a special date. But what really made our experience shine was the outstanding service from Manuela. She was warm, professional, and had a great sense of timing—always there when we needed her, without ever feeling intrusive. The highlight of the night, hands down, was the Cochinita Pibil. It was phenomenal—tender, slow-cooked pork infused with rich, earthy achiote flavors, perfectly balanced with a subtle tang from the pickled onions. Every bite melted in my mouth. You can tell this is a dish made with passion and tradition. The rest of the meal was just as impressive, from the appetizers to the cocktails, all beautifully crafted and full of bold, authentic flavors. But if you visit (and you absolutely should), make sure you try the Cochinita Pibil. It’s a standout dish that I’m still thinking about! Huge thanks again to Manuela for her incredible service. Mesamaya has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite restaurants.
My husband and I had a great dinner at Mezo Maya! The ceviche tostada, shrimp tacos, and cajeta churros with ice cream were all fantastic. Our server Michelle was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

I didn't try anything that changed Mexican food forever, this place just served Mexican food I'm familiar with but at an elevated level of quality. My drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert were all great. The meat was well seasoned and flavorful. I wanted Mexican food with a upscale / premium feel and that is exactly what I got. 5 stars.

While the alcoholic drinks and chips and salsa were excellent—the salsa has a great kick and the chips are among the best I’ve had—the overall dining experience fell short. I didn’t enjoy any of the main dishes, and unfortunately, I will not be returning. It’s worth noting that many of the dishes have undergone recipe changes, which I wasn’t made aware of until after the food was served. That’s something I believe should be disclosed upfront—either on the menu or while ordering—not after the fact. On a positive note, the service was outstanding. The staff was very attentive, and food arrived in five minutes or less, which I appreciated. Still, given the disconnect between the menu and the actual dishes served, the food simply didn’t meet expectations.
