Good prices, would totally recommend Swadeshi Special chicken biryani❤️. Used to love the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani, but it doesn't taste that great now. Wish there was little salt in Punugulu. Dosa batter is the best💯.

Tasty food and quick service. Not the best ambience but the taste exceeds expectations. Affordable prices. Good staff. They serve dishes from all parts of India. The combo is really filling and tasty and so are the samosas.

Good food, but half the items on the menu weren't available. Great samosas, good prices. It's fast food, don't expect a fancy dining experience but the staff were all very nice.

Love the biryani but the taste is highly inconsistent. Vijaywada biryani is sometimes too spicy, sometimes perfect with the spice. The quantity of chicken also sometimes can be really less.

It is located at a very convenient location right outside McCulum Communities and Ashwood. The restaurant is quite small with a 10-12 people seating arrangement at best. It looks like prefer orders for takeaway to dining in as they only have paper plates to serve to customers dining in. Their menu is very limited with some biryani and appetizer options. We ordered 2 singaras (they called it samosas), Chili Chicken, and 2 Indian Chai. The Samosas were great tasting just like I had back in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Chili Chicken was also excellent with a hint of sweetness and bright colored with Indian Spices. They should provide options to buy naan or parathas with this item. The Chai was a disappointment as I found it too spicy, not my kinda milk tea. Overall it was an average dining in experience but I may try out their biryani sometime to give them a second chance.

The person a guy, at the counter is too rude. Makes his own rules in serving. Food is just average. Cashing on students by not giving quality food. Too little parking outside.

Very slow and lazy service We waited 45 mins for one biryani to go. People who ordered over phone and dine in customers were served first. No value to the people who order in restaurant

I’m really disappointed with Swadeshi Indian Cuisine. * They are charging an extra $2 per item if you pay by card, on top of the regular taxes*! That’s completely unreasonable and feels unfair to customers. Most restaurants don’t do this — it’s just a way to overcharge people. The management should clearly mention this policy before billing. Definitely not a good experience, and I won’t be coming back.

I have made a phone call and placed an order for paneer biryani bucket biryani. The guy said it's available and to come after 20 minutes. I saw up there with the money. He says that he tried to contact me and that item is not available. Are you joking?; Imagine being hungry and going there and NOT getting what you want. The guy said he tried calling me. I asked him to get the phone and call me while I was there. I got the call. You should look at his face. Do these kind of lazy employees deserve a job??? Owner please re-think whom you hire. As a result of my anger I could have yelled at those people working there but I don't want to do that. INSTEAD I WILL BOYCOTT THIS RESTAURANT!!! IM DONE.

Half a naan costs 2 dollars. That is crazy. Either this South Indian shop scammed or charging too much compared to other indian shop in the market.

I would give this place negative rating if possible. Not a place for dine in. They don't have ac. They don't give water. They don't have water to purchase. They have a very limited menu on the weekend - no curries, maybe 3 or 4 vegeterian aperizers. I would never come back to this place again. I ordered mutton dum biryani and gobi Manchurian. Gobi Manchuria is soggy and okish in eating. Mutton Dum biryani is horrible. They charge $18.99+tax for it and it doesn't taste like biryani at all. Mutton is a little smelly. And biryani is totally flavorless! Quantity wise it is enough but quality wise 0! Swadeshi plaza in irving is a much better location with more variety and better and tasty food.
