Einstein Bros. Bagels Richardson Reviews
the vibe is great, the meal exchanges are good, the coffee's strong, and the employees are really nice! it's a great place to study, too.
Freshman year I came here every day. The staff lets you get pretty much anything with meal exchange. Now that I have my own kitchen I don’t come here as much, but I still come whenever I need a good place to work and enjoy a bagel at the same time. I recommend not coming when it’s super busy because the line can get really long. If you get there just before the :50 minute mark of the hour there will likely not be many people there.
The line is pretty long in the morning but was worth the wait. Loved the smoked salmon!!

I kind of feel like they have really stepped up their quality, of late. I regularly get their nova lox bagel, medium roast coffee, and other morning bagel and egg sandwiches. Solid all the way!

Staff is very friendly. Coffee selection is nice. The food was okay. I would give 5 stars but I ended up not eating the chicken on my sandwich because it had so much gristle. Otherwise it was good after taking it off. This could have just been a personal experience.
Got order wrong. The lady behind the order stations seem to be dismissive and slightly rude. Well shop at other Einstein, bakeries. Love the products.
Ordered a dozen bagels to go, sliced. They didn’t include bags to store them. They taste fine, but are pricier than others and lack the goodwill.

I’ve been here multiple times as I am a student at UTD. The first time I went, the coffee was very cold, all the coffee was cold. I didn’t think much of it because I thought it was a one time thing. I’ve been here two other times where each time the dark coffee is completely out. I’ve been here different times of the day from 8am-11am, each time there’s an issue with the coffee. I let the cashier know: “just wanted to let y’all know, you’re out of fireside”. They tell me it’s going to “take a while”, which isn’t a satisfying response considering the fact that if I’m going to pay $2.15 for a cup of coffee, I expect a cup of coffee to exist. I understand that they’re busy, but there isn’t an excuse for a whole canister of coffee to be completely empty. It takes a while to bring it down that much. Besides the coffee issue, I’ve bought food from here which is up to standards and place is pretty clean and well kept. Periodically they run out of napkins. The main issue is lack of maintenance of the coffee bar hence lack of napkins and coffee. I’m assuming that this may be the case because no one specific employee is dedicated to that, so they all sit around until someone does it.

Soooo SLOW. It should not take 40minutes to put a sandwich in a toaster. The employees are always moving incredibly slow, and seem to be dragging their feet to do anything. I understand that there are high demand times, but I have sometimes waited 20 minutes for a bagel when there wasn't even a line. Must be due to poor management. Seems to be a campus wide issue with restaurants
I don't know what happened to EBB at UTD. Their sandwiches used to be filling and delicious, but now they are just filling. The staff is nice and the service is decent, however, it's all about taste at the end of the day when it comes to food. If it was not due to proximity reasons, I would not go back.
Not impressed with my visit. Location is on the UTD campus. It was clean, nice staff, and not busy around 9 am. I ordered a bacon, cheddar, egg sandwich on a cheesy hash brown bagel. The bagel was okay with what tasted like pepper/herb seasonings on top. I had to toast the bagel at home because it seemed doughy and heat the cheese because it wasn't melted. The bagel sandwich isn't too loaded. I'll go for just ordering the bagel next time. I ordered a vanilla cold brew shake, but I don't think it was prepared right. The top seemed like a foam that separated from the cold brew vs being blended.
I wish I could say this place was good, because it's in a convenient place and sells breakfast bagels which I usually enjoy. However, when 75% of all of my orders reach me with either a) missing items, b) the wrong drink, or c) literally the wrong sandwich, it makes it really hard to like ordering from here. I order online through the Starship app most of the time, and I can't recall having a single good experience with this place through that. This morning I ordered an All-Nighter, an Applewood Bacon & Cheddar on an asiago bagel, a toasted chocolate chip bagel with no spread, and a Sweet Cream Caramel Cooler. What I got was an All-Nighter, some weird sandwich I don't even think is on their menu(everything bagel, egg, spinach, tomato, avocado, and some kind of orange-colored spread), a toasted chocolate chip bagel with a cream cheese spread, and an unblended Sweet Cream Caramel Cooler that I had to blend myself. A real disappointment, but the All-Nighter was good at least. When they get you the right food, it's pretty tasty. I'm not going to be ordering from here anymore, which is a shame because I used to like them a whole lot. I might go to the physical location sometimes, but my experience doing that has also been less than amazing too, because the customer service has been very hit or miss.
I come here because I enjoy the food, but there is never not something wrong or missing with my order and when I mention it, I get told off. I mean I eventually get it fixed or end up not caring, but it’s still annoying. I get the workers are students who probably only there to help pay tuition, but that’s no excuse to the constant poor quality. I get how you may be overworked, but as a student who has a job that’s 30 minutes away at a restaurant that is fairly busy, this behavior is fairly unreasonable. Train the employees better.

Staff have not been the kindest, and it's pretty obvious they are understaffed some times. They are very short with people, and if you don't know how to order or are new to the shop you're going to fumble. On my second visit I ordered just a bagel with cream cheese and as I watched I saw people coming in ordering, and leaving with their items, even though I ordered first. I waited for a long time, thinking they were just getting something specific, but after about 20 minutes I went up and asked for my order, and the bagel was right in front of the worker, and she just grabbed it from the rack and filled it and handed it to me. It was literally just sitting there. By the time I got it it was basically rock solid since it was sitting outside the toaster for that whole time. I love bagels but it's not the best experience coming here.
First time ordering at Einstein Bagel Bros. aaand they gave me something completely different from my order, I wanted desperately to go back but classes put me in a rush. So 7$ for an incorrect unsatisfying breakfast bagel. Would not recommend, but if you enjoy it here DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER WHEN IT COMES OUT.
Legitimately the worst place for food at UTD. Ordered a Bacon & Cheddar bagel and waited 40 minutes for it. When i finally got my order, it had no bacon. Restaurant is regularly understaffed and will make you wait for several minutes until they get your order, even when the store is completely empty. Staff is overworked and tired, though it is visible they are doing their best considering how terribly-managed the place is.
It cannot possibly be this hard to ask someone for their name or just give people an order number. I swear I had this same complaint 2-3 years ago and it was fixed, but since then some combination of management and staff turnover has left this institution with but one brain cell they use to call my government name when the preferred name I have on my comet card is just fine. The veggie melt was alright but not worth a meal exchange.
Service took a half hour to make a bagel Sandwich. The workers there couldn’t figure out how to refill the napkins. Food came cold, workers would have done well at the DMV for how slow they moved. Plus they use AI to reply to all of their reviews. Slop
Don't go here lol absolutely not worth the money anymore. It was good years ago but now the coffee is 100% ice with a tiny bit of drink and the food is sloppily put together to the point where it falls apart or there's just not that much there.
Bruh??? They gave me the end piece of the tomato, no onion even though it comes with an onion. Asked for a toasted bagel. Bagel was not toasted overall not the best day. 0/10 😭😭
The old lady with blonde hair, name might be eleeson T is a absolutely horrible to everyone. A bunch of people are NOT coming to this location because of her. Fire her already. I posted her pic in blue shirt.
