I ordered the Chopped Specialty Rice Bowl with chicken, and the portion was just right for one person. The flavor was good, and the chicken was tender. However, only three toppings are included for free; additional toppings come at an extra cost. Offering more complimentary toppings could enhance the overall value. The restaurant seems more suited for takeout, as the seating area is limited and the ambiance is minimal. It’s a quick-service spot, ideal for grabbing a meal on the go.

I loved the food here! It’s like your usual gyro shop, with some twists. So, for bowls/wraps, you order a protein and two sides (three sides for a bowl) We got the gyro meat over yellow rice with roasted eggplant, red potatoes, and roasted broccoli, falafel bowl over lentil rice with red cabbage, Mediterranean salad, and chickpeas, kofta meat over yellow rice with sautéed mushrooms and onions, house salad, and roasted potatoes, falafel sandwich, gyro sandwich, mango cake, rose cake, mango lassi, and gyro fries. I loved all the protein, and both types of rices were delicious! As for the sides, my favorites were: the sautéed mushrooms and onions (a little picky), the red and roasted potatoes, and the roasted eggplants. All the other sides were good too, except for the chickpeas, they could be softer. Gyro fries was amazing! It was a little spicy, but you can ask for more sauce (they have 7 different types of sauces!!) Between the two desserts, I preferred the mango cake one.

Below average. This is definitely not NY style halal cart rice and chicken. It’s strange it’s almost as if it doesn’t have any taste.

First off for 2 ppl to eat we were given 1 spoon and 1 fork, not noticing till after we had left. Some of the food was ok, but the loaded fries are supposed to come with cheddar cheese, there was none, the rice pudding is supposed to have cinnamon on top, there was none and it tasted more like chunky cream cheese pudding than rice pudding, and the Baba ghanoush, well it didn't even look edible and the taste was nothing. Not impressed at all. Won't be going back again.

We ordered 2 family meals through DoorDash and spent $189 with tip for driver. It’s 90% rice and sauce and almost no meat. There was enough meat for one, max 2 people. (See pic). Never again

The food has always been good, but this last visit was terrible. I went in at 7:30pm, the food looked old and tired, I went ahead and ordered a bowl, when I got down to the hummus a small baby roach crawled across the cooling area right behind the glass. It wasn’t in the food but it still freaked me out. In the end I couldn’t eat the food, I threw it away. I understand this can happen but I have lost confidence in Chopped. This will be my last visit.

Really disappointing experience- we ordered 4 meals to go. The food was cold. My falafel bowl said it included 3 sides plus mediterranean salad. I got 1 potato wedge, romaine salad and no hummus, which was one of my sides. Another person didn't get any salad with her rice bowl (even though it was one of her sides, too). The baklava was paper thin and tasteless. We used to order from this place all the time but haven't done so in awhile. Probably won't again. It was a waste of $60+.

Ordered a gyro shawarma- for $10 it only came with a little bit of gyro meat, red cabbage and onion and too much sauce. Terrible. Glad there are other shawarma places in town.

Don’t get me wrong—the food here is usually good. However, it’s a hit and miss. You never know if you gonna get cold food or hot food . Today, the meal I received was cold and tasted like it may have been prepared the day before and simply taken out of the fridge without being reheated. The plate itself was cold to the touch, which was disappointing. Whoever was in the kitchen on August 1 at 12 PM may need to be retrained or reassessed, as this level of service is unacceptable

Plastic shard in my bowl. The lid was intact, so it couldn't have broken off from there. I don't care for compensation. Just do better. Food otherwise was just fine, there are better options in the area.

Terrible Experience – Never Going Back I've been coming to Chopped Halal Grill since 2018, but after this recent experience, I’m done. I ordered a rice bowl online for $16.99 (before tax), and what I got was straight-up disappointing. The food was COLD — like it had been sitting out for hours. They claim you can pick 3 toppings, but apparently that means nothing now. They threw in a few sad chickpeas (probably because they’re cheap), half a scoop of rice, and two random veggies — one eggplant, one onion — even though I clearly selected sautéed onions and mushrooms. There wasn’t a single mushroom in sight. It’s like they just threw in whatever they felt like. And the portion? Pathetic. The box was so small, it barely held anything — not worth $17 in any universe. This place used to be reliable, but ever since the new management took over, it’s all downhill. All they care about is cutting corners and squeezing every penny out of customers, even if it means serving cold, incomplete meals. Super dishonest. Avoid this place unless you like being ripped off.

I am not sure if this is authentic Mediterranean restaurant but as name implies copied the food is also worst. I took the beef gyros rice bowl. They filled up the box with too much rice at first and then a slight amount of gyro which you can see on the images, literally covered a layer on top. Given that the less amount of food I was hoping it would taste better. But gyros doesnt taste like gyro at all. It tastes some kind of shredded vegan meat. And the total food taste is so blunt and no flavor at all. Not recommended at all. *note to owners reply: I didn’t ate some red cabbage actually. I am not being targeted. Look deeply into my rationale.
