Two Guys from Italy Dallas Reviews
Went here last night, best Italian spot I’ve had! My mom and I ordered the family dinner, everything we had was flavorful! Just moved to Dallas and have been looking for food spots, I’ll definitely be returning!
Please don't be worried by the 4 star reviews for service and atmosphere. You can get many amazing plates for 10-15$. Exceptional taste and portions for overall 5 star value, considering the prices. Minestrone served with meal, so warm and fresh and great spices for a cold night. Excited to try other sauces!!
this is the best dining experience ive had in DFW. (been here 5.5 years) you want a classic Italian joint? come here tired of the EXPENSIVE, cold, mod new Italian places opening up everywhere...come here the service was tremendous (thank you, Edgar) the food was HOT! and....seriously so good somehow the prices were even better!!!??? spent 48.00 before tip for 2 HUGE dinners and 6 glasses of wine (happy hour is 2-9, what!?) we got tortellini alla panna and chicken parm. the marinara was so good. (was that ground fennel in there!?) ya'll got customers for life. and when we have visitors come in we'll bring them here awesome awesome awesome
The minestrone soup was beyond delicious and the Mixed Vegetable Italian plate was good too. This place has a cozy, homey feel (nothing fancy or flashy). The ceiling has a very unique decor! Just for the soup, I would definitely recommend. Everything else is a plus (including the great bread they serve). To top it all off: excellent customer service!
We don't frequent Italian restaurants but we were do for a change in scene. This one popped up on Google Maps and had a good review. So we decided to give it a try. With 3 kids that are REALLY picky on food, they we excited with the taste! Our dishes were piping hot and delicious. We'll let the photos do the talking!!
The location doesn't tell you much but the food is incredible. We had a the shrimp and chicken alfredo, and the trout, which I shared with the wife. The texture, the portions and the flavors were like the ones I have personally tasted at Ritz-Carlton hotels or upscale downtown restaurants. In short, this place is a must to pay a visit !👍
Classic Italian restaurant with large portions, great bread and fantastic service. I had the lasagna and my friend had the gnocchi, both were delicious and came with a salad or minestrone soup. Prices were reasonable and they have a full barif you were curious. Give this local spot a try, it's a great mom & pop kind of place that will definitely satisfy your Italian food craving. The decor is not so updated but that's what gives it a classic feel to me, it just reminds me of growing up in the northeast!
What a delightful find! Beautiful, fresh food, an amazing menu selection, ample portions, great service, and very reasonable prices. There were so many things I wanted to try, I will for sure be back!! We shared the small Antipasto salad, which was great and could have easily served 3 or 4 people. I had the Marco Polo Chicken and my days had the Frutti del Mar. The food was delicious and the portions so big we will have to make a supersets trip to review desert. By far some of the best Italian I've had.
The food was so good and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend to eat here. The dining room could be a little cleaner but the table was clean when we sat down.
The best italian restaurant in Dallas and the best staff!! The manicotti, spaghetti/ravioli w/marinara , gnocchi AND the pizza are all excellent choices. The marinara is the perfect mix of richness and thickness. On our third visit, the pizza was a crisp outer crust with some give in the middle and a generous amount of very flavorful cheese. You notice right away the quality of the ingredients used in all the dishes. I love a flavorful rich house italian dressing and this is the place for it. The staff is so courteous and professional!! Highly recommended .👌
It is always reassuring to hear Italian being spoken at an Italian restaurant. That was the case at Two Guys From Italy. The food was authentic and delicious, the service was great, and we consumed copias quantities of food and drink yet there was plenty to take home to enjoy the following day.
This is one among the best Italian restaurants in DFW. The guy who was serving was very friendly and gave really good recommendations. The portions are large and there will always be leftover, especially if you eat their freshly baked bread and the minestrone soup that came with the entrée. I got the seafood Alfredo and it was the best among everything we ordered. Would definitely go back again, soon!!!
This is an amazing restaurant. I have been forcing myself to try something new each time we go but so hard to pass up the dishes I have already tried. Prices are super reasonable and the staff is always attentive. Don’t miss this restaurant
Ate here on a whim and am pleasantly surprised! This is now a must eat when in the DFW area. I got salad with Italian dressing, parmesan chicken with a side of buttery pasta it was absolutely amazing! It was way more food than I could eat and for the quality of food I have spent far more for way less quality and food.
What a hidden gem! This restaurant is fabulous! The interior, campy fab! The food? Incredible. The service? Out of this world! Joey is an absolute treasure! I’m so regretful I didn’t find this yummy spot sooner!
I have been trying to find a good Italian restaurant in DFW and finally found it! 🤌🤌 Absolutely fantastic marinara. You MUST order it. The pizza is some of the best in the metroplex, hands down. And the chicken parmesan was delicious. Also, huge portion sizes. The interior is unique. The walls have beautiful artwork that does a great job in transporting you to a small town in Italy. The seats could definitely use an upgrade but it was a cozy and romantic vibe inside 🥂 If you have been looking for a great Italian restaurant in this city of great BBQ, Mexican, and Asian food like I have, definitely stop in to this long-standing location. You will not be disappointed 🤌🍷🇮🇹🍝
I wish I had pictures but the food was too good and I forgot to snap some photos. When you walk into the restaurant, you are zapped back into the 70s/80s era. The decor is retro, and I like it with olive oil bottles hanging from the ceiling and plastic vines everywhere. The staff is friendly and patient with you if you have questions. The menu is big so plan ahead or like me, spend 25 minutes trying to decide what you want. I like food so I tried the shrimp-chicken alfredo (creamy, cheesy and good portion of shrimp), a pepperoni pizza (the pepperoni were delicous and the pizza tasted fresh), the canneloni (the spinach and beef mix was amazing) and spagetti and meatballs (the meatball was a little hard but the flavor was there). You get endless amounts of bread and butter and the tiramisu was delicous with it being cold/hot and very coffee flavored. Try this place out!!
My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Two Guys from Italy, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! We ordered a pizza, and it was absolute perfection. The cheese stretched just like those mouthwatering commercials you see on TV – a true testament to its quality and freshness. Beyond the amazing pizza, we were incredibly impressed with the value. The pricing was fantastic, and the wine list offered a great selection at prices that were very competitive with other Italian restaurants in the area. But it wasn't just the food and prices that made our visit special. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure our drinks were topped off. We can't wait to return to Two Guys from Italy soon and try more of their menu. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Italian food with great service and value, look no further!
I have been coming to Two Guys for years. They have been consistently good. The food is real Italian. I especially love the spaghetti sauce. Very large portion sizes. Through the years the faces of the service has changed but it is also been good. Nice atmosphere. I love the bottles on the ceiling.
My daughter and I are in town staying at a hotel nearby and only chose this place because it was so close. I am so glad we found it. The food was fabulous, the bread was the best and the price was so surprisingly affordable and perfect for a frugal budget.
THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD. Their bread sticks are so good, their marinara sauce is TO DIE FOR. I forgot the name of the meal I ordered, it had big riocotta cheese filled shells with meat sauce. Their portions are pretty good, and with a regular meal you get a delicious side salad or soup.
Stopped here from out of town. I ordered the gnocchi while others at the table ordered stuffed shells, fettuccine, and spaghetti. The food was delicious. Jenny provided amazing service. The atmosphere is reminiscent of hole-in-the-wall family spots.
WOW!!! I wanted to try this place based on the reviews, and I was BLOWN AWAY!! The service was super speedy and friendly, and the food was incredible!!! Edgar was such a kind and attentive waiter, who gave me lots of good recommendations! I couldn’t choose which entree to order, so I got two because the prices are so affordable. And I was SUPER IMPRESSED with both dishes!! I got the Baked Mostaccioli, and the Tortellini Ala Panna. Both plates came out looking beautiful, and both were PIPING HOT AND FRESH!! The atmosphere is calm, quiet, and romantic. The decor and lighting is lovely! What a great experience! I can’t wait to come back!!
This place, was absolutely ASTONISHING!! From the Mushroom Masala with white wine sauce, to the calamari, to the Seafood Alfredo... The food here was divine! It's off the highway 635, onto a road that's in need of a lot of work, but once you get to it, I'll tell you first hand, you will NOT regret it. And the food came out so fast!! The portions were HUGE! It was definitely worth what I paid for. Even the salad with Italian dressing was homemade! Also, the service seemed very authentic welcoming. And for the two us, it wasn't at all expensive for what we got. It's a little out of the way from where we live, but that doesn't even matter. We WILL be coming here again!
Literally the cutest place ever, perfect for a date night or just a quick getaway. The entire place is covered in murals and vinery that make it amazing to look at and the food hits every mark: great portion, delicious, and low price! Definitely recommend, will also add it looks way better on the inside than the outside, just give it a chance :)
It feels authentic Italian restaurant with nice atmosphere. Their pastas are really delicious. I got the pesto ala funghi sauce pasta with chicken. It was cooked with artichoke hearts and it was an amazing dish. Balanced and delicious with whole pieces of pine nuts. Also we got pizza and the dough was delicious. I thought (as to the pictures here that I wouldn't like it) but on the contrary it was crispy and the cheese was melted to perfection with nice marinara sauce.
The food was incredible and I love the small homey feel, although I wish the music was working lol The chicken tetrazzini was the best pasta I’ve ever had & the calzone was stuffed and delicious. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back to try more! Also extremely well priced
I will be honest ... this place has grown on me. The first time I went, I thought the place to be quaint, compared to the fancy places closer to where I live. But in the end, it is the food, value, and service that matters. When I went back again, the same server remembered me and my last order! It was very sweet. Portions are generous, especially the breadsticks which seem homemade and unlimited. My only reason for less than 5 stars is that sometimes they don't have enough waitstaff so you have to wait, even with empty tables around.
This is the best neighborhood Italian restaurant you can find. I drive from Allen to Dallas for the last 18 years to continue to come here. I've been going to this place for decades and it's still the same amazing food every time. The same cooks have been there for 40 years. I remember a time back in about 1995 that I placed an order over the phone for a lunch special and on the way I realized I left my wallet at home. I called them right away to cancel and he told me not to worry about it catch them the next time! That same man still works there and I will not forget their hospitality. The food is always amazing. Everything they make is fresh and super rich. The alfredo sauce is the best I've ever had, it is crazy rich and very garlic heavy. I love the shrimp dishes, any of them, large fresh shrimp cooked right every time. My 10 year old son said it was the best food he's every had, he's now 12 and still asks to go to Two Guys all the time. What I hate to see is the decline in traffic, I feel this is because the place isn't some trendy spot that looks pretty. This is a true neighborhood gem. I hope that people keep this place going for another 40 years. It really is worth a visit!
Very cosy atmosphere. The level of cleanliness is just stellar. We walked in on staff cleaning up menus and we saw another staff member thoroughly clean after some guests had left. The service is also relatively quick. Our waiter was polite, courteous, and always available despite the place being busy at the time we came in. Also you get a lot of bang for your buck. The portions are generous and a lot of the items are home made and taste so fresh. One of the best pizzas we've had in Dallas. Also, great place for a romantic date
There’s not too many things on the menu that aren’t good. This restaurant is by far one of the best authentic Italian restaurant in North Dallas. Don’t let the outside fool you. Large portion entrees for less and you typically get a soup/ salad along with breadsticks when dining in. Great place to dine in with the family or friends. Quality for less is excellent!
Researched for an Italian place and came across this one. Read the reviews and convinced my husband, who is Italian, to try it. Needless to say, it met all expectations. Loved the interior with the murals on the walls and the vines on the ceiling, like you're in a vineyard. Gave a nice and cozy intimate feeling. I ordered eggplant ala parmesean, and he had the veal sorrento. House salad with Italian dressing and minestrone soup. The bread basket was served, and we got seconds to dip the bread in the soup and sauce cleanup. Huge portions. I wasn't able to eat all, maybe half of mine, and he ate his all. Great value for the food. Their espresso cup was cute, and it tasted phenomenal. We're saving this place as a go-to for when we want Italian food.
After what seems like a decade or two since my last visit,I stopped in while I was in the area. The food was top notch. From the Ceasars salad, the chicken parmesan, as well as lobster ravioli was all phenomenal! Will make another visit soon!
We absolutely love this place—it’s truly a hidden gem. The cozy, family-style atmosphere creates such a warm and authentic experience. The service is consistently amazing, and the food is honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. We even drove almost an hour to celebrate our Valentine’s dinner here, and it was more than worth it. Thank you for such a wonderful evening and an unforgettable meal!
This is easily the best Italian food I've ever had. I'm talking even out of trips I've had to NYC and Boston. Not only that but I've been going to this restaurant since I was a kid and it's still just as good if not better now that I'm in my 30s. The veal tortellini and the veal di pasquale is the best. I've also always loved the grapevine and Chianti ceiling. Amazingly reasonable price as always too. So glad I moved back to the DFW area so I can go more 🥰
This restaurant is by far one of the most authentic, hospitable and tasteful places I have had an Italian dinner at in quite a few years. I recommend Two Italian Brothers, one hundred percent. My date and I were attended by Alex; who was very kind in helping us to the most delicious options they offer. We tried the chicken & shrimp alfredo, beef lasagna, cheese ravioli and their complementary soup. If you are still debating whether to visit or not, all I’ll end this by saying “Let the food speak for itself!” God bless you.
Best Italian food I’ve ever had. No competition in Texas. We went here randomly one day and it’s been on our rotation of restaurants ever since! They give large portions of delicious food for a very affordable price! definitely worth it!!
One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been too, the prices, the service from our waiter to the wine selections and even the decor! I saw lots of locals and it was amazing! This is a hidden gem in my books! There ain’t many restaurants where you can actually sit down and enjoy your food and conversation without it being to loud! I will definitely be back!!
Wow, expectations were widely exceeded! The food was great portions and the flavors were delicious. The minestrone is in a small cup, but it's hearty and filling. The table bread was fresh and crunchy. Highly recommend it. I got the BAKED MOSTACCIOLI and my husband an mother got the LASAGNA. The flavors hit, nothing was over powering and again the portions for lunch, we're practically dinner sized. We'll be back and if you haven't been, try it, you won't be disappointed!
This place is phenomenal! When I first arrived I was a little skeptical but once I stepped inside everything from that point was amazing! The interior and aesthetic is so beautiful! We ordered the Provolone Cheese Sticks, Chicken Alferdo, and Pepperoni Pizza. Everything came out so delicious!!! The prices are affordable and the portions are huge! You definitely get your moneys worth here! I will definitely be back!
one of my fav italian spots! the complimentary bread is so fluffy and soft 🥖 the restaurant itself is gorgeous - I love the ceiling decor. absolutely love the chicken florentine and the linguine special (anything with the cream sauce really). they are NOT stingy with their sauce here!!! we came for the third time yesterday and my bf got the scampi ala florentine and he enjoyed it, but it is not my cup of tea .. it tastes like pasta with wine dumped over it. not sure if that’s how wine sauces are supposed to taste like, but the flavor was overbearing for me.
I felt like I walked into a homey mom & pop trattoria in Italy, especially when hearing the staff all speaking italian to each other. This hidden gem had great service and good food at low prices. I had the lunch tortellini that came with salad and bread. The rolls were fluffy and delicious. The beef/pork tortellini had big meatball chunks in the sauce. It was all wonderful, and made me feel like I was back in the Italian countryside.
One of the best Italian places I’ve tried. My fiancé and I LOVE Italian, we’ve been to numerous places and this one is ranked really high on our list. Everything is take. Into account from food, bread, and prices. The bread was delicious, the pasta is made from scratch, the house wine prices are the best around, the food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is romantic/serene. I went here two times in a week while on business and took my fiancé here for a third.
Amazing!! First time here party of 8 on a wknd. no wait sat down quickly and served quickly. our waiter was fantastic his name was carson. Omg my chicken alfredo was mouth watering full of flavor at the first bite! i had the sweet wine forgot the name but we bought the bottle it was cheaper. These food was sooo good. Definitely recommend!!
This was our first time trying Two Guys from Italy, and we were thoroughly impressed! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, setting the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Our server, though we can’t recall her name, was incredibly accommodating and recommended some of their best-selling dishes! The food was not only delicious but also arrived surprisingly fast. This has easily become one of our favorite Italian restaurants in DFW. Highly recommend!
This place was phenomenal! Was warmly greeted when entered and thanked as I left. My server Jenny was extremely warm, welcoming and professional. The bread they bring out is so warm and fresh. I tried the lasagna and lobster ravioli. Both were great and the portion size is much bigger than most places and the price is very reasonable. The lobster ravioli was superb and fresh. It came with grilled vegetables mixed in which was a nice addition. The lasagna was also delicious however I prefer more traditional and for it to come with more structure and layers. Also had the garlic bread which was also very fresh. Finished it off with cheesecake and this is the biggest slice of cheesecake I have ever seen at a restaurant. Overall this place is most DEFINITELY worth going to with great customer service, fresh quality food with great portion sizes and very reasonable prices.
A true hidden gem for Italian food! The food was absolutely amazing. The portions were incredibly generous, and the prices were surprisingly affordable—such a great value for the quality you get. Photos don’t do it justice! The bread was incredibly soft and fresh, and everything we ordered was rich and creamy. My husband had a Chicken and Sausage with Pesto, which was perfectly seasoned, and I enjoyed the Chicken Alfredo—it was the best, and creamiest, I’ve had in a long time. We also tried the calzone, It was super cheesy, perfectly baked, and absolutely hit the spot. This is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to all the time. If you’re looking for delicious Italian food, this is the place to go!

One of the very few authentic Italian food around the town. Love the ambience! Definitely worth the wait, the food was amazing! Service was quick too.

I would go back. The food was flavorful. The salad and bread wasn't my favorite but the entree was good. They also give you plenty and the price point was affordable. I would recommend this place as a casual down to earth kinda spot.
Love this place. Some of best Parmesan Chicken ever, and for half or less the price of any other place. The decor is right out of the late 70's or early 80's (which is a blast from the past), but more importantly, so are thier prices!!!
Upon walking in, I was shocked. I thought they were closed. They really need to remodel. This place should be packed considering the location. The bread was cold and tough. The salad was very basic but decent. I don't know what that bowl of mushrooms was about, and it tasted like vinegar. If that's your thing, I mean no offense, but I'm not a fan. The GRAND FINALE the lasagna w/mushrooms. I give it a 10/10 and will definitely be back for another plate. Please make me fresh bread, though! The staff was lovely. I don't know my servers name, but she was warm and relatively attentive.
Service was great, food nothing special. Decent inexpensive Italian fare. My veal was presented very "Italian style" -- I got the bowl of spaghetti separate from the plate of veal. On the other hand, my wife said she thought her ravioli was slightly freezer burned. And the sauce wasn't especially fresh, definitely seemed like out of a can, I think they could do better in that regard, by using passata for instance. I wouldn't drive out of the way again for this place (I drove 10 miles or so), but if you live in the immediate area, it's a pretty good option
Bread and food very warm, really nice to be welcomed with hot food. Calamari was perfect, nicely done, same foe the Fettuccine Alfredo. Pizza was on point hot and ready to be eaten, ordered the chuncky Cecilian style. Bread sticks were just a little compacted, maybe I just like fluffy bread, but tasty nonetheless. Service top notch!
the food was good, probably just didnt pick a dish I was craving. The bread is positively heavenly! And the desserts were good, definitely recommend the tiramisu! Atmosphere is very unique but could use some dusting for sure. The staff were friendly but a little forgetful. Overall I'd return simply for the bread and dessert menu 🤣
We both got Chicken Alfredo. The sauce was good, very cheesy and you can taste the garlic. The chicken itself was cooked well but unseasoned. It did take us a very long time to get our food, but at least it was fresh! The bread was good but no butter, they give you a 'whipped spread' Overall, not bad by any means, but not above and beyond (:
This is a gem of a restaurant that most people don't know about. Let's start with the decor, it feels like little Italy that brings warmth while eating. The wait staff is very attentive in giving you the proper service you deserve. Now let's get to the food, because that's the reason for this review. The portions were good and the flavor was simple. The only downside was that the food was served warm and not hot to touch, but don't let that stop you from going. Happy eating!!!!
Old school authentic Italian food in a quaint little building. Very low key “hole in the wall” vibe. The food is very authentic. Bold flavor in the marinara and meat sauce. Alfredo has heavy Alfredo cheese vs most places that are more milky. Bread sticks were a home run. The downside was not serving real butter. Plastic margarine needs to be banned regardless. They do offer oil vinegar and Italian spices for bread dip upon request. The other issue was the tiramisu was still frozen. I would call this place a ‘neighborhood gem’. It’s been here since the 1980s
We were in the area and were craving Italian. Saw the reviews at Two guys from Italy and decided to give it a try. The place was not packed so we were seated very quickly. I ordered the chicken scarpelli and a small pizza. The scarpelli was good but just a tad dry. The pizza on the other hand was great. We ordered a thin crust and im glad we did. The pizza has a slight crunch to it. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. This place is also very friendly on your wallet. We were shocked at how much we paid. We usually pay twice as much for far less superior food. Great job guys.
If a trattoria and a diner had a baby, it would be this place. I came on the weekend and it was busy, but not over crowded. Portions large, staff friendly and really affordable. The pesto probably tastes better with seafood. Definitely try the tortellini. Next time I’ll come back for a pizza. Those looked good.
Decent Spot if You're on a Budget The food was just okay—nothing to hopscotch or double dutch over. But the pricing? Super cheap. It’s giving early 2000’s vibes with a glass of wine starting at just $3.75. This is definitely a nice little mom-and-pop spot. I won’t be back personally, but if you’re a family trying to keep things affordable, this is the place to be.
We ordered catering for our team and were very happy with it. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, delivered quickly, and still hot. I'll definitely be ordering again for our office.

My family and I had gone this past Sunday to celebrate my nieces birthday party. She chose this restaurant because she had loved the food from a previous visit. Overall the food wasn’t bad. What made the experience uncomfortable and sour was the rudest and sassiest server. Not entirely sure what her name was, but it almost felt like we were a burden to her and with every request we had, we were met with a sassy and blatantly rude response. Almost everyone at our table expressed an unpleasant experience with her.
Please don't take it personal, but the spaghetti and meat sauce; kind lacking garlic, basil, pepper. It was affordable and tasted alright. Great staff and atmosphere but I did take out. I will try a different dish next time.
I’ll grant them that I came at 8pm so I’ll give a third star with that in mind. However this was mediocre at best. I had the chicken Cesar, the tortellini bolognese, and the cannoli. Let’s start with the pros: The prices are insanely cheap especially for the portions. Some of the food seemed to be made fresh. Like the bread starter. It was fresh and delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The chicken on the Cesar was prepared beautifully. The cons: The atmosphere is very dark, dank, and dirty. The walls are crumbling, the carpet looks 60yrs old. The weird dusty bottles and fake wine grapes on the ceiling is interesting in concept, but not very warm or inviting. The main pasta dish came out COLD!!! The Cesar didn’t have Cesar dressing or cheese. The cannoli was an old premade shell from a box that was insanely hard to bite through with broken cream filling and chocolate chips. Their non alcoholic drinks were extremely limited to water, ice tea, lemonade, and Dr Pepper. The service attention was very lacking. No refills. No checking on how the food was etc. I was hopeful from the other reviews, but even OG in the ghetto of Mississippi puts this place to shame.
Great service, nice atmosphere but below average food. A good spread of vegetarian and sever was very flexible but food tasted very bland. Pastas was not well blended with the sauces. Overall the experience was fun as we went with a group of 18 & was given a private room but was disappointed by the food.
Take the 🔫, leave the cannoli Great atmosphere and very classic Italian place which is why I’d probably stick with the classics. The minestrone soup was grainy but the house salad was better. Chicken Alfredo was delicious but their lobster ravioli had raw vegetables served with it and while their serving staff is incredibly friendly and sweet, we kept getting overlooked and forgotten. I think the manager ended up taking care of us because of the waitress. Not mad or anything, she was darling - just inattentive. For desert: do NOT get the cannoli. The shell is hard and the ricotta filling is oddly grainy and wet. Their chocolate ice cream is nice but otherwise, the dessert wasn’t too impressive.
Okay, walked into this place and I was immediately greeted and sat down. As we waited for our waiter we noticed that a worker was eating and got up from his meal to serve us without washing his hands then he proceeded to take our drink order and come back to immediately take our order. He was great and made sure we were filled with drinks and bread. While eating we noticed a female worker rolling silverware and handling some else's food storing the sauce with out washing her hands. She proceeded to deliver the plate and came back to rolling silverware all while on her phone. Although food was delicious and service was great I got the ick from the staffs unsanitary behavior.
Their bread was fresh and amazing. Bread comes with butter, remember to order Marinara on the side if you need some. Minestrone soup was amazing and I will definitely return for the soup. They serve authentic Italian food and I had to google them to know what they are. Wish my dishes had some extra salt and less oil. I ordered Pesto Pasta for main course and oil was horribly dripping out of it.
This is the second time coming, unfortunately changed the bread since May; this one isn’t as good. Secondly I’d really like to leave a good review but my pasta had a metal shaving in it. It was kind of like a ribbon from a can maybe fairly thin but disappointing. Drove from Killeen area to satisfy my pregnancy craving and ended up throwing it away.
I only came because of the reviews I saw, but I only stayed because of the “rolls” Seriously, I loved that bread. 🥖 The food was amazingly cheap for the portion size. The food just didn’t have anything special about it. There was ZERO seasoning and it tasted so bland. The building needs some serious work. Inside for sure but outside as well. It is not in a good part of Dallas either!!!! I would only mention this place for the bread honestly. But if you want food that you’re eating for the fact that it will fill your stomach and taste like nothing then come here all you want. I got the lasagna with calamari The calamari was so mushy. That’s how I knew it was old. I only post the foodie spots that are good but here my instagram for some great recommendations! Insta: Im_alwayshungryy

It was nice to have a quick restaurant to grab food ok a Saturday night without a wait. Nothing really blew us away as far as food. It was good but not great. I wouldn't go back unless we needed so…
So the place was really cute. Me and my boyfriend walked in and the two employees up in the front didn't wait on us for around 5-10 minutes. I wouldn't have cared if they said something before. but…
Came last weekend with some friends. Split a carafe of the house chardonnay, wrong wine was brought out the first time. My friend's salad was drowning in dressing which was a bit off putting. The…
Meh. Frozen beef for the lasagna and canollini. Meat sauce was under seasoned. Caesar salad had no flavor. We will not be back. Taste of Italy it is not. Just got back from Italy.
Wanted to see if this place lived up to its reviews since we had recently returned from Italy. We tried to call to do a reservation since it was a Friday evening, but was told we didn’t need one for a party of two, yet when we get there it took at least 16 minutes to be seated despite there being open tables. Also the food was better than chain restaurants like Olive Garden( I think the price played a huge deal here), but it was not as good and fresh as the food we had on our recent trip to Italy, so very disappointing! The taste of the meat was not fresh and neither were the other ingredients. So if you want food like you get in Italy you will be disappointed, but the price is very reasonable!
I really wanted to like this place, but honestly I just couldn’t. The moment you walk in there’s this strong unpleasant smell, probably from the carpet, that makes the whole atmosphere a little uncomfortable right away. They keep bringing bread nonstop, which at first sounds like a nice touch but it ends up feeling excessive, like they’re just trying to fill you up before the meal. And the bread wasn’t even fresh, it tasted reheated and dry. Then came the salad. It was tiny and drowned in dressing, I couldn’t even finish it. Every dish felt very ordinary, like huge portions made just to stuff you, not to impress you. The presentation was nonexistent, the pasta was overcooked and swimming in sauce, and the flavors were completely off. The only positive thing I can say is that the prices are low, no dish goes over $17, but honestly it shows. Cheap food, cheap quality. You definitely get what you pay for here. Service was fine, nothing to complain about but not memorable either. And the tiramisu was completely frozen. It was clearly store-bought, not homemade, and that just summed up the whole experience for me: no care, no effort. Unfortunately I didn’t like a single thing about this place. I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it. Two stars, and that’s me being generous.
The memories of this place from when I was younger wanted me to enjoy a lap down memory lane. I came here with my grandparents and have been a few times since. Many years later this place is still standing and I hoped it would have been worth the drive. The pizza was great. The homemade crust and flavor was on point. The manicotti noodles were over cooked and as soft as cotton. The mush was not worth the bite. The Frutti de mare had great flavor, but the shrimp tasted like rubber, the mussels were cold, and there needed to be a side of bread toasted to soak up the juice. The shrimp Alfredo had a great flavor, but Ty shrimp was so over cooked that it felt like I was eating a rubber hose. The memories of this establishment have far gone passed. Not worth the wait.
Very disappointing experience\nI was really looking forward to eating at this italian restaurant, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. I asked if they had chicken piccata, and the waitress…
I do not often do reviews, but I Felt it to be an injustice if I do not let you all know I’m visiting my daughter that lives in Arlington and I am from Myrtle Beach South Carolina. They recommended an Italian restaurant which I love Italian food so we arrive to this location two guys from Italian cuisine me being a foodie that has been in the industry for 25 years. I entered with an open mind as soon as I walked in I felt that I was in the episode of kitchen nightmares inside of the restaurant was dirty. I felt dirty sitting in there. I looked at the outdated decor staff sitting around that to me was a strike one. I ordered the chicken marsala, a great disappointment. It was swimming in water down sauce. The initial bread basket we received was hard must’ve been from the day before the meal was a complete disappointment. I asked who I assumed was the owner manager if they had any fresh Parmesan so I can put on my chicken marsala and he pointed to the store-bought grated Parmesan cheese in the little Parmesan cheese dispensers on the table And to my surprise I asked them again if they have any fresh and he replied with. Oh yeah, we graded that by hand which me being in the industry for over 25 years the difference between fresh grade and Parmesan and store-bought I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. It is a sad excuse for an Italian restaurant and the cuisine is not authentic. I could tell by the product that my son-in-law had which was chicken Alfredo was bag chicken chunks a huge disappointment I would never come back to this restaurant, even if I was starving steer clear from two guys from Italy Italian cuisine
My daughter and I had take out that we went and picked up, shrimp Alfredo and salad with thousand island for dinner. The plus was that it was ready on time and people were cool. The food…the salad was something you’d get from a fast food place. It was dressed so it was not crisp and seemed to have been old. The shrimp Alfredo was so overcooked and the garlic bread was tough. I could not it. We will not be back and I cannot recommend
I wish I could give this place zero stars !! Absolutely NOT authentic Italian food ! We saw this place on Tik tok and really wanted to like it ! It was the most disappointing disgusting food I have ever paid for ! I literally got sick after leaving! Throwing up! Called to address the issue and requested a refund! And explained I was throwing up! All the manager did was lie and try to make it seem like I wanted free food ! I didn’t even finish the food ! The shrimp Alfredo tasted like tuna fish from a can ! The picture I’m about to post will show exactly why you should NOT try this place ! You can still see the pasta whole in my throw up and clearly see the only thing I threw up was Alfredo sauce ! All I wanted was a good dinner now I’m on my way to the Emergency room for more than likely food poisoning!
We’ve made to go orders from them a few times. Today we found a worm and a living bug in one of the soup, after we ate two other bowl! I brought it back to show the cashier and he would not apologize at first, instead kept saying that he’s never seen it before, even after he picked the worm out of the soup! I can not believe it. I had to argue to get my three bowls of soup refunded because he said we already ate two of them. Yeah, how do I wish that we had not, if we knew there are worms in it!! Everyone has lost their appetite and wish we can just throw up.. never order from them again! It’s not just the food but their attitude of how they treat the customers!
