We visited the Dania Beach location for a family dinner, and as always, the highlight of this spot is the stunning waterfront view. Sitting right by the ocean while watching the sunset is truly a breathtaking experience and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. The food is decent, nothing to complain about, and the service is fine—not exceptional, but good enough for a relaxed dining experience. Parking is easy with meters available, though on weekends, it can get a bit tricky to find a spot close by due to the beach crowd. That said, it’s still manageable. Overall, it’s a solid place to visit, especially for the ambiance and view. We’ll definitely be returning!

The menu was small on choices but the food was good. The view of the ocean from outside is great listening to the waves. If you're in the area at the beach it's a solid choice for decent food.

We went for a late night drink and snack. Tried the spinach dip and Key Lime pie, as well as a Tequila 512 Margarita. Enjoyed everything! Decent prices for a place on the water! Have added the happy hour menu and daily specials that I’ll be back to try! They weren’t too busy at 9pm on Thursday- and service was great! -Made it back for Taco Tuesday $5.99 tacos! Very good!

Keith the photographer was amazing! Took multiple photos along with the complementary photo. The best part is he has magnet photos available, usually don’t find this at most locations. Our waitress was phenomenal advise of different drinks we should try even the appetizers absolutely amazing.

Isabella takes great care of her customers. The food is great and you can’t beat the view! Keith, the photographer, is fantastic at capturing the moment at your table with your loved ones!

I love the atmosphere, food and scenery! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, the food was great! The scenery out of our booth window was the ocean crashing upon shore which was peaceful. There's plenty of outside seating with a bar. It's nice to feel the ocean breeze while sipping on a drink or eating your meal. It's a fun and excellent place for a family outing or a dinner date.

Excellent service and great atmosphere with a view. On Saturday 12/11/23, it was a breezy cool day in Dania Beach so we had dinner inside. The buffalo shrimp appetizers were so delicious along with our Margaritas🍹. The bartender on duty was on point. Our server was friendly and fantastic. She suggested the crab stuffed grouper with lemon cream sauce, mashed garlic potatoes and asparagus - omg it was served perfectly. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted so good. The flavor was beyond satisfying. This is a our new favorite spot. 😋 btw to go I ordered the stone crab bisque and it was so tasty and flavorful.

You MUST sit on the back patio (which has a separate host for seating) All the food is extremely fresh and flavorful, the curly fries are a little greasy but that’s just nit-picking. Our server Sydney was amazing, great personality and kept great attention and recommendations! Ask for her if you go to this location, won’t regret it! Overall with any visiting friends or family this place is a must!

This is a very nice place to have lunch with family. Great atmosphere with an outstanding view!! They have a paid option to walk through the deck. We recommend any burger! Meat is super tasty and fries are perfectly done. They have healthier options, like the poke bowl, with really high quality ingredients and fair portions. I had a wonderful afternoon at the Dania Beach quarterdeck restaurant. The stuffed mahi-mahi with crabmeat, mashed potatoes and lemon butter sauce, was delicious. My server Neila was kind, helpful, and cheerful. I wasn’t able to get on the Pier because I didn’t have $2 in cash. Neila offered to pay for the $2. We visited some time ago but we had a great time. Their happy hour and specials menus are nice. We ended up ordering a bunch of appetizers and drinks and everything came out fairly quick and all tasted very good and fresh. Our server was friendly and attentive. Fyi, the Dania Beach Pier is literally next to this place which is cool to see if possible, but they do charge a fee per person just for sightseeing.

Good seafood, friendly staff, great location 👍 I had the Stone Crab Chowder, which was extremely good. Then some fried calamari that were nicely assorted and really tasty as well. My friend had a chicken sandwich that made him very happy. The outdoor peer is super nice, and you get a great view.

Thomas was my server. Keith was my photographer. I’ve never been here b4. I’ve been to other Quarter Decks. I never knew the atmosphere here. The music had a variety. The place was packed but not an over crowd. Thomas gave me great ideas for the food. He was honest and genuine. The photographer Keith was a like a Gem to have in the building. U want a view and great music of all years from the 90s to the 2000s love that .

Yesterday was my first time at quarterdeck and I fell in love with the place. The location is absolutely beautiful and Alexis and Martin were the nicest servers I‘ve come across in a long time. They made sure to take good care of us and never left us with an empty glass. They created a very welcoming atmosphere and Alexis mixed us the best drinks! We‘ll definitely be back!

We parked our boat in the Dania Beach Marina, just across the parking lot from the Quarterdeck Restaurant, for almost two months and during that time we must have enjoyed two dozen lunches or dinners at the Quarterdeck. We never had a bad one or one we didn't enjoy. The restaurant is popular and, particularly on weekends, it can get loud and lively and the wait times for food orders can get a bit long, but the quality doesn't seem to suffer at all. Favorites from the menu included all of the sushi and sashimi, the American burger and the coconut shrimp.

Dining at sunset on the beach pier was absolutely beautiful. Great location. Attentive staff. I had Coconut Shrimp and Sweet Potatoes Waffle Fries, dinner was so good. I would come back here.

Nice place.. never been. Overlooking water.. knew I had 12 ppl so made arrangements days before so 545 before rush hour for seating. Ally was awesome and all okay. Got there and our table was taken since 1pm to patrons who wouldn't move 1 table over due to game ( they should have rented the space for hours).. so we waited.. Moved to a different location. No problem.. Food and service was on point and we had a great time! Servers were attentive and did a good job even when system went down for a bit.

Food was amazing! Maleah was our server and was so attentive. And the pictures from Keith the photographer will be a great memory! Snapper Francese was huge and so good! We also had coconut shrimp, Mahi tacos, El Dorado sandwich, and turkey club. We have been here several times, visiting from Alabama - and a pleasure to introduce family and friends.

I love this place. The scenery was amazing. However the day I went the weather was a little chilly and windy so the food got cold fast. Service was quick and the prices fair. We ordered a Philly cheese, American burger , and fried calamari. The portions were good and the seasoning was on point. I will be coming back to try more of their menu.

The food was incredible! My husband ordered the jambalaya and absolutely loved it. I had the coconut shrimp with sweet potato fries—it was phenomenal! Our sons had the grouper and shrimp entrée along with the chicken wing appetizer, and they raved about both. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We can’t wait to come back!

Stopped in before my return trip home. Tons of Parking paid of course being on the beach. Great location and awesome atmosphere. Tried the stone crab chowder and mahi fingers definitely paired well with the piña colada for a proper farewell. We loved this place! The location couldn't be better! Sitting over the ocean at Dania Beach right next to the Dania Beach Pier! The weather was beautiful after so many days of cloudiness and rain. Loved the beachy ambiance and open-air restaurant. We had the best seat in the house IMHO a window table with a fabulous view of the beach and ocean. Our server, Nikki, was such a delight. She has a sparkling personality with a lovely smile. She checked on us at the appropriate times and took very good care of us! We never lacked anything. Tip: There is a free cocktail coupon if you check in with YELP. I ordered the Sirloin Steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus ($24) , which was pretty good for the price. Cooked medium, as I requested. My daughter ordered the Full Rack ribs with seasoned Curly Fries ($24) and loved it. Our dinner hit the spot! The place was full with a wait line. We only had to wait 20 minutes for our fabulous table. It was worth it. There is a huge metered parking lot. It took about 10 minutes to find a spot. We look forward to coming back again.

This is a nice place to go and enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean in a relaxed, casual environment. The bartenders do a good job with the drinks and the food is excellent. All the service staff are very friendly and pleasant to be around. This is definitely a place to bring friends who are visiting from out of town, locals love it too.

Visited last minute after swimming with my dog , amazing accommodation for pets. Service was great , very friendly , food came out in time and tasted amazing . Juan our server was very calm and explained the menu when I had questions about my dinner . Although it was super busy our server, Ana, was more then wonderful.She was very attentive and apologized for the delay in our food delivery, which was not a problem at all, as it was a luncheon with girls catching up. Pet friendly, and the atmosphere is great on the pier sitting outside in the back patio. Would definitely go again. Parking was easy and easy to access to the restaurant.

Our waitress, Erin, was phenomenal. She made us feel like we have known each other forever. We also had a wonderful surprise by their photographer, Keith. He took some wonderful pictures of our group and provided us wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. The location is amazing as well, feels like you’re floating over the ocean!

Bunch of us dined in here for dinner and were happy we did. We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated as the place was busy. The hostess was very friendly and helpful in accommodating us to our choice of table that was on the balcony looking at the sea which was very nice of her. I tried the Bacardi billfish rum based cocktail which I really liked. Gave me a good Buzzz I also tried mahi mahi Frances which was delicious , one of us tried grouper and shrimp which was also very delicious Restaurant has a casual chill vibe and definitely being on the beach is so cool eating and looking at water Service was amazing! Oh my goodness!!! This place is absolutely breathtaking. They have 2 locations near me and for some reason I chose this one! It was my first time and this place did NOT disappoint. Food, atmosphere, and customer service was a 10 out of 10. If you get the chance go to this location! It’s right on the beach, has a boardwalk and the views are beautiful while you sit on the outdoor patio to eat. Thanks for the great customer service Liz! Definitely will be back!

It's one of the best Quarterdeck! The view of the beach/ocean is perfect relaxation. This was our first time at this location, and we loved it! The food and drinks were good. The customer service was excellent! Our server Madelyn R was an excellent server! She was very helpful and had that carisma that every server should have. Food - everything came out perfect. Had Jambalaya and a French onion soup. Prices were decent and even had happy hour on the weekend. Service - Sky was our server and did a fantastic job. Ask for her. She's great. Atmosphere - sat outside in the courtyard. Nice setting. In the shade for the most part. Very dog friendly. It's worth the trip. Great spot

Me encanto disfrutar de este restaurant con esa vista tan bella de la playa. Lo que mas aprecio de este restaurante es que desde cualquier ángulo la vista es encantadora y tanto al aire libre como en los booths, se aprecia la vista preciosa. EL servicio fue muy bueno y rápido, asi como la calidad de los tragos. En particular le di la oportunidad al 'Dirty Martini' ya que me apetecía por el fresco clima y lo disfrute muchísimo. Por otro lado ordenamos del menu el churrasco, la pasta con camarones, y la pasta de pollo al limón. No solo estos platos que ordenamos tenian una muy buena presentación, sino que ademas estaban deliciosos. No debo dejar de mencionar que debido a mis serias alergias con los mariscos, pedi el pollo, y éste fue cuidadosamente preparado para que no hubiera contaminación cruzada. En general apreciamos mucho este restaurante y le damos un 10/10.

Que lugar bello, buena atención, buena comida, no se demoran y algo extra especial es que no te piden propina por la fuerza como en la mayoría de lugares elegantes o lindos, con gusto deje mi tip. Buenos precios y variedad de lugares donde te puedes sentar adentro con aire acondicionado o afuera con la brisa del mar 🌊. Feliz de haber ido acá muy recomendado.

Very nice place to have seafood. Fish is fresh. Sandwiches are awesome. As far as sushi, this is not the place to order. Very plan, fish itself is not that great. Overall atmosphere is nice. Large TVs to watch your favorite sport team playing. Outside seating area is nice but you need ri make a reservation in order to be seated. The wait time was 45 mins so we ended up seating inside. I would give five stars but for the sushi.

Food was pretty good and the service and atmosphere were wonderful! It is more expensive than I was expecting but you can get some really good flavor infusions. I am going to suggest to Chicken Fillet to carry these sweet potatoes fries. They were delicious!

Great outdoor space with views to ocean. The front entrance is a little uncomfortable. A few locals were hanging out there smoking and just staring which seem kind of odd. No indication of restaurant name or direction so you kinda have to ask; then you are shown to set of stairs. Those stairs seem to lead to the back of the building, but eventually you reach the top and you come to the restaurant door. Definitely take the ramp entrance!

Francheska was awesome, very nice and helpful when I returned my food cause I wanted it more cooked. Also, nive little surprise with Keith the photographer, we had a nice little impromptu photo session and left with some memories.

At the beginning we arrived we were served by a waitress with attitude I don't know if because we are Latinos although we speak English, I don't know what happened and another arrived she served us better, we ordered some drinks they were not so good but the food was super, the pasta with seafood that I am not a lover of her but to try it I asked for it and I liked it a lot, the spinach dip and my husband's steak were very good. Nice view is the best thing it has.

The atmosphere is beautiful. You're right on the water, but the drinks are not great. Pretty but not great and barely any liquor. Half of it tasted like water. Food was ok but the scenery is beautiful.

For starters, they don’t take reservations but there is always a wait for outside dining. This time we waited 40 minutes. Despite the bad logistics the staff is extremely pleasant! Hats off to them. The food is ok, nothing bad but nothing great. This location sits out in the ocean, nice view .The live music was a nice touch. I’ll say it’s a fun spot for drinks with a group of friends. That’s where it ends for me.

The food wasn't good - we ordered and 45 minutes later the food came out cold. I got the ribs and my husband got the jambalaya. I didn't try his because it looked and smelled terrible. He said it was 'meh' My ribs were cold and dry and they hardly cooked my grilled shrimp. It was a beautiful Sunday to be at the beach, so a group of us stopped by for lunch. Very busy day inside, but some of the staff were not as helpful as desired. Food was good.

Quarterdeck is a beautiful restaurant located on the heart of the beach. Sadly the inside and outside of the restaurant needs some work. Allot of old wood and leaking from rain. No cover from weather for outside seating,Tables where way too off balance, old artificial turf from the 1st floor to the 2nd. Quarterdeck would be a more premium location if they simply upgraded the restaurant. As for service, Marcus was our waiter and did an awesome job with everything that we needed. Marcus was Excellent. As for the food, we started off spinach artichoke dip, pretzel sticks with beer cheese and clam chowder. The chowder was delicious and very delicate and creamy. The spinach dip chips were stale, my father couldn’t even swallow the dip because the taste was foul. The pretzel sticks were good but the beer cheese was bland. For entrees,we ordered the all American burger, stuffed mahi,coconut shrimp and the fajitas. The American burger was bland and forgettable, but the fries were delicious. The coconut shrimp was great, we enjoyed them. The stuffed mahi was lacking flavor and lacking lemon sauce. This was one of the dishes I was looking forward to due to being one of the specials. I was very disappointed. The fajitas was burnt and had allot of char on them. The flavor was also just not there. The overall experience was disappointing for me as this was my first experience dining at quarterdeck’s. The staff was great and they all did a great job and provided excellent service, the manager was also very attentive and excellent as well. I believe if quarterdecks wants to continue and elevate as a premium establishment, they will definitely need renovations and upgrades to the menu. Until next time.

The only thing that's worthwhile now are the bartenders, and even some of them have left. The menu is peculiarly small, with basic bar food as the fare now. They still have ribs which are pretty good, but the menu is just super small. Maybe they're just trying to do a small amount of food and do it well? The burger is a big fail. It's a shame. I'm sure the local barflys don't mind, because happy hour is still a good deal.

We had not a bad experience and i wanted to enjoy this more then i did but the photographer that is hired to snap photos was extremely rude and nasty, he was mad that my 4 year old wasn’t interested in being in the photo and he kept rolling his eyes and telling me to make him take a picture i said he’s alright just take one of us were all here he got super nasty with me snapped at me and then took a photo as i was speaking rolled his eyes and walked off then came back and said here and gave me the shittiest photo ever taken because he spent the whole time arguing and took it of me speaking. I just think if you’re gunna hire someone to offer a complimentary service they should be service orientated and it really ended the afternoon on a stinky note and dampened the experience. Hope you find someone more professional and kind.

The place looked like a tornado had gone through it. Old food and garbage left on the bar the entire 1.5 hrs that we were there. Place was filthy. They must have been short staffed but it seemed like no one was running the place. Waited like 20 mins to be served and get waters. The food was decent (calamari was very oily and small pieces, chicken sandwich was overpowered by tobasco, margarita cocktail was weak, clams had no flavor, but ribs and wedge salad were good). Take your money elsewhere.

My Maui Maui had good flavor, the pasta did not, and the sweet potato fries were kind of hard. There was a group of us, and 2 of them ordered medium steaks, and they came more than well done, almost burnt. We sat outside, and service wasn't the best, but she was new and learning. They have outside lights but nothing wiring they had portable lights on the tables, but still hard to see when it was dark. This place has good views and a lot of potential but needs better management of what's going on.

Bartender in the back with the glasses took my food order and after half hour I asked another bartender for an order update and turns out it was never put in. Glad I trusted my gut and asked. They did give me a free drink for the mistake which I did appreciate. Food finally came out but it was cold. Didn’t even finish the sandwich or fries. Larry the bartender did a great job though :)

The service was good, but the food they brought us was rotten; there were too many mosquitoes and the bathrooms were dirty. Hygiene didn't seem to be an important requirement there. It's a shame how decadent it's become. It has a nice view, but I won't return, and I don't recommend it.

The place is very peaceful, the food is delicious, and the view is the best in the world. I love that restaurant, but unfortunately they have the worst hostess in Miami. She is an older woman—I think she’s Cuban—very rude to customers and with the worst attitude. She was rude to us. The people at the table next to us asked the waiter for a table change, and he said there was no problem. When she realized it, she came over and told the customers that it couldn’t be done without her authorization and even yelled at them. I had never seen anything like that. Unbelievable.

The ocean view at Quarterdeck is definitely the highlight—beautiful scenery and a great spot to watch the water. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t quite match the view. The food was pretty effortless and lacked much flavor, and the drinks were disappointing. The place also seemed a little unclean, which made the overall visit less enjoyable. Great location, but the quality and atmosphere could use some improvement.

-The burger came on a tray with paper which disintegrated during my meal. Kept chewing on it till I figured it out. -The onion rings were soggy and cold. -The calamari was super chewy and cold, although the marinara was super hot and yummy. -The honey garlic wings were tiny and dry, overcooked and the honey at the bottom. The tiny little table lights were useless! -No lights on because it’s turtle mating season

Manger was very rude, while waiting for our friends to get the check he came and rudely told us to have common sense for sitting there without food. No one was waiting for a table when we left. Wish he would’ve just asked respectfully. Then proceeded to tell us to grow up when leaving the place.

I went there tonight . The server was a men with a very bad education and rude! I ask for him change the beer because taste like water . He got the beer and said “ I don’t have time for that”, walk away and throw the beer on the floor. After that we cancelled the order and left! His name is something like Thomas !! Bad place!!

This place is old and grungy. The food was not great and neither were the drinks. It’s been around forever but it’s run down so much. The service was not great but the waiters were very nice and friendly.

Not worth it anymore. The only reason to come here is for the ocean view, and even that depends on luck and whether they seat you in a good spot. I visited with my child, and even though there were plenty of available tables, we were placed in the windiest corner. Absolutely no consideration for families or comfort. The plates and silverware were dirty, as if they hadn’t been washed properly. The food was mediocre, nothing special, not tasty, and the vegetables in the quesadilla were not fresh. Overall, I do not recommend this place. It has gone downhill a lot. There are many better restaurants in the area where you’ll have a much better experience.

Service was great but everything else was not very good. First of all, there were no lights on the outdoor seating. Second, the food was kind of cold and the drinks just tasted like water. Third, although i was under a roof, some sort of liquid was dripping on my lap and everyone else’s at my table,

My group of seven was eating together but only 4 got food and the others just joined while we ate. While waiting for our check the manager came and told the ones who weren’t eating that they have to leave because they were not eating and to use their common sense. The establishment was not busy and there was nobody waiting to sit. When leaving we were told we were stupid and needed to grow up. Please do not support this establishment until a new manager comes along. The waitstaff was great but I will never support a place where the managers are rude to customers. I hope management can adapt some better customer service, it is severely needed.

Date of visit: December 8, 2025 If you want a dining experience you’ll never forget, head to Quarterdeck Dania Beach — where the mosquitoes enjoy a full-course meal on you before your food even hits the table. We were attacked so badly by no-see-ums that we literally had to abandon our dinner and run. I woke up today covered in painful, swollen bites… but according to the manager, these bugs don’t “bite,” they just “scratch.” Oh wow. Amazing. Florida insects are apparently out here giving light exfoliation treatments, not drawing blood. 🙄 And then there was the manager himself — noticeably intoxicated, noticeably unprofessional, and noticeably annoyed that I dared interrupt whatever he was doing. His breath smelled so strongly of alcohol that I’m shocked the mosquitoes weren’t attacking him instead. Instead of listening or apologizing, he confidently delivered his groundbreaking scientific theory about “scratching mosquitoes” and dismissed me like I was wasting his time. Imagine going to offer a helpful suggestion and getting a drunk TED Talk in return. I truly love this restaurant, but if this is the person representing management, upper leadership needs to step in immediately. The service, the customers, and the food deserve someone who is at least sober enough to know insects don’t come with fingernails. Great food. Terrible management. Come prepared with bug spray — and maybe breath mints for the staff. 🍹
