#OnPoint every time I go through their drive thru. food just as ordered. Polite & friendly workers.

This location is usually pretty busy/steady but don’t let that deter you from jumping in the drive-through line. They are usually always really quick to get you through. In the years I’ve been going through that drive-through living in this neighborhood. The longest I’ve ever spent in the drive-through was seven minutes and that was because I had a soccer mom minivan in front of me, that obviously wasn’t up to code on drive-through etiquette. However, CHECK YOUR ORDER AND FOOD! There is always something missing or wrong with my order even when I make an online pick up order.

This location is not one of my normal restaurants. But the first time I've been there in a while I was pulled into spot one. Waiting on my food for over 20 minutes. Had to go back through the drive-thru. But the staff was kind and very apologetic. Things happen just be patient. If your few doesn't arrive in a set amount of time just go up slightly and ask for it. But beyond that I still recommend this location.

Waited for like 3-5 minutes at drive through. I was the only car. Finally just drove around and parked. Came in and ordered. Waited about 10 minutes to get a couple value menu items and a few drinks. I guess they were restocking or doing drawer change at like 7:45ish a few weeks ago. skinny girl at front with short hair dark skin was working the register, she was polite but super quiet, staff was generally very quiet. They had several people working, no idea why the subtle chaos lmao. Felt like a different planet. Food was fine.

Only McDonald's that will not open the dining room, and maybe with good reason. A homeless takeover happens when it was open. I am sure everyone tries to do their best, but there is no bathroom available, so do not order a large coke. I did the walk up window, while friends did the drive in window. Service was okay on both. It just seems some employees seem distant towards the customer. Not an unpleasant experience, but not very pleasant either. Get your food, if they get it right, you won the lottery, if wrong, try again. Keep it simple and the odds of winning go up. Might I suggest using the mobile app.

This McDonald’s is really hit or miss depending on the time you come thru. They currently only have drive they services with a walk up window if you don’t have a car. The coke does not really taste like other McDonald’s goi rain coke either. Service is hit or miss. I find mornings they usually have the A team going.

I get fresh food here most of the time. Today I noticed they get orders mixed up trying to play games with people. after waiting a long time the guy handed me my bag of food and walked away...no drinks when he came back he said they want you to pull up your food not ready . I said no i dont need to do that he said yes cause didnt you order the mc flurry? I said No.... i got my order just hand me my cokes . He started looking all around the store then decided he should give me my drinks and let me go. The line was so backed up they should be ashamed. I was thinking..."Youre going to have to play with someone else today buddy". I was pissed because i get done this way at a few locations

Went to two different stores. We waited the first one for 15 minutes and still haven't been waited on. You people need to hire some more people in these stores and stop leaving them short staffed all the time. Having to wait all the time to get Waited on is ridiculous. And having to wait at the counter while they take doordash in drive-thru orders it's really tiring you either need to hire more people or decide to close your restaurants this is getting ridiculous. And don't tell me I don't understand business I used to run a 52 stores. And yeah I posted this to them too.

So I go to this McDonald's a lot because it's close to my house but every time I buy a frozen coke there they never fill it up. So I'm like not going there anymore.

If you know, you know, but McDonald's where you know these days, what used to be the value sandwiches or value meal, that's what they put on the combo Mills now and just charge another $10. This McDonald’s location is extremely dirty. Receipts all over the floor mainly because of customers just do not care in this particular area. However, staff aren’t busy here. Trash bins are completely full. Men’s restroom dirty and zero soap. Service was okay however kitchen floor just nasty. I wasn’t able to capture everything on video.

Slow, got my order wrong, and returned to fix it only to get hit up for cash by some healthy looking guy my age asking if I can spare money for him to eat while getting in line to get my order corrected. That infuriated me that I just wanted out and to get this guy off me. Got in line outside at the drive through for another long wait getting to the window just to be told to pull up and they’d bring it out (for a simple plain McChicken) — waited probably 10 minutes. If it wasn’t a hungry kid then I would’ve left and moved on but anyway, this isn’t the greatest McDonald’s in Dayton. It’s a generally bad area where dealers and addicts walk up and down the street and hang around the BP gas station across the street and around the intersection heavily. There’s always people hanging on the corners with signs begging for money so don’t come into this area or stop here unless you want hit up for something — possibly worse. I don’t expect much from any McDonald’s because the customer service and overall experience seems to always be poor at any location but this is a lot of chaos for a simple order. I couldn’t imagine if my order had been any more complex or I had multiple items or something. The workers are always extra rude and inpatient also. Terrible location! 2 stars is being friendly.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel and not only did they forget to add the breakfast sauce which is my favorite part , they also did a lousy job building the sandwich. The bacon was stacked on top of each other in one spot instead of placed evenly for an even bite, and on top of that the bacon was undercooked. And the cheese looked like they slapped it on there with their eyes covered.

This location is always SO SLOW. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes in the drive thru.

Note: When you pay with a gift card + money, they apply the cash 1st!! Then they take the remainder owed off the gift card!! I have never had any shop, restaurant, or service do that! When I asked about it, they were indignant and rude - even the Mgr. The workers got my order wrong in three ways. Not a huge deal, but the sour attitudes of everyone there, including the evening manager was really unpleasant! I won't be going there again.

After hours was awful 😖 I wasn't in a rush and should have left when the cars in front took 15 minutes to move. Waited over 30 minutes for a frozen sprite. If you can, go to another location. It's worth the drive.

Garbage mcdonalds. Ordered big breakfast with hotcakes, no hotcakes. Ordered two sausage muffins, muffins are hard as a rock. It's 50/50 if you're order will be right. It may or may not be edible. Update: went back, this is my large fry.

As with another reviewer, I placed an order through the McDonald's app, and waited 30 minutes standing outside their pick-up window waiting for someone to give it to me. If I hadn't already paid for my food, I would have left. Pressing the buzzer did not get anyones attention. When I called the location directly, the girl that answered the phone was rude and hung up on me. There was someone else waiting outside that had been there longer than me. This location really needs to get their act together. I would give it zero stars if I could.

The drive thru was awful. The girl taking the order put in the wrong size of drinks. We waited in line with only 3 cars in front of us for 20 minutes. They did not have the holiday pie even though they were advertising it. We did not get straws with our drinks and then the straw container on the inside was almost empty. Lastly, when we finally started to drink our sweet teas, they tasted like a strawberry flavoring had been added. This place is notorious for slow uncaring workers. I went today our of desperate need. But they will never get my business again. Ever.

Sat in the driveway thru line for just over 15min pulled up to the speaker. Sat for an additional 8 minutes at THE SPEAKER when the menu switched from breakfast to lunch... was asked for my order and told breakfast is over. After sitting and patiently waiting for 23 minutes at a fast food drive thru for breakfast, I had to get lunch. The employees were in no hurry to get people through the drive-thru in a timely manner.

Apparently, they don't understand the "fast food" concept. I haven't been there in a long time. There's a bunch of young people working there and clowning in the back. There's no doubt this is why our food took so long. The food wasn't hot and the fries were fried in old grease. I think McDonald's fries are the best and these were horrible. This tells me that it's bad management. I heard somebody saying that they got sent him the day before but somebody else didn't even though they were cussing at the manager. I also heard someone cuss. It was like being in a school. I'll never go there again...I also had my granddaughter with me.

What a nightmare. Sorry I stopped. Employees seem to think the guests are a nuisance and one even cursed at us when the driver didn't want to leave the window without the food. Finally went in and asked where our food was. Said we have been waiting for 12 minutes. Employee replied we had not been waiting that long. Explained their receipts are time stamped. And the original young lady who cursed at us felt the need to be confrontational with me and approached the counter to further 'mouth off'. They didn't even hand me the food. Set it on the counter and pointed to it and said "There's your food".

Went thru the drive thru this morning. The cashier checked my order, but the person handing out the food obviously didn't because I didn't get the right item. I've now paid for a more expensive item than what I received and won't eat what I was given because I don't like it. Very upset. Never really go here but happened to be in the area. Of the three or four times I’ve been here, my order is never right. Sometimes it’s as simple as my sprite not having any syrup in it so it tastes like carbonated water. Today they forgot my 10 piece and when I called to try to remedy it (to avoid driving back up), the manager was entirely rude. I was pleasant and upbeat but even with my receipt, she wouldn’t work with me. I’m aware you can get coupon codes, partial refunds, full refunds, etc. I just wanted a coupon for next time or a refund for the food I didn’t receive, but I guess she would rather adopt a lousy tone and speak down to me. This McDonald’s is probably the worst one in Dayton.

I haven't always had the greatest experience at this mcdonalds with the icecream machine being broken or being out of something i wanted, but they always give the correct orders and the service is good. Last week I had a particularly rough day at work, and when I got there, the service was so nice it made my day. Edit: Today they forgot half of my order. Probably because they told me to pull ahead to wait and while I was waiting, two employees stepped out with their phone cameras on and I wasnt sure why until I saw some black sports car in the middle of main street doing donuts. So dangerous and hate that the employees were supporting it, AND didn't do their jobs correctly due to this wrecklessness. I might never come here again, I don't care that it's nearby.

Their fries are consistent garbage. They clearly fry them multiple times. They’re stale, taste like cardboard, and most of the time don’t even have salt. Aside from that the other food is also garbage. The chicken is so hard, drinks out of syrup. My bigger complaint is the service. The person taking your order is rude every single time. There’s zero eye contact or even a have a good day. It’s just a silent awkward hand off. It sucks because it’s the closest one to us. I’ll be driving to the one in Vandalia by Miller from now on.

I ordered a medium hot chocolate and literally got a hot cup of milk. And I do not mean that they didn’t put a lot of chocolate in, I mean straight up milk with no chocolate. Food was only alright. Edible, average flavor, served quick but not super hot or fresh tasting. Initially, I dined in with my mom and grandmother but as we went in to order there was trash on the floor and the tables were sticky and filthy. We were served on a tray that was sticky and gross as well. The whole restaurant was filthy and we took our food the car and were left with a feeling of uncomfort.

Complaint about a wrong order and the rude employee . My order was wrong and while I was at the window I advise the employee and she told me with an attitude she can't do anything about it. This has happened multiple times. Awesome! I pay extra money for extra toppings which they have been refusing to give me even though I have already paid for it.

So today when I was at this McDonald’s in particular, A.m. in the morning and it was pretty packed. I was in line. A lady had ordered a sandwich, but I guess she announced it wrong and got the wrong thing and got mad and threw it back in one of the crewmembers hand and the crewmember said you’re not going to disrespect me she the customer asked for I guess the manager or whoever was there and basically just ganged up on this young lady and she lost her job all over the fact because this customer caught an attitude because she ordered the wrong thing and every time I go there, my fries are cold and every time I ask him to fix them, somebody has an attitude besides this young lady in particular so This McDonald’s definitely need to get better GM’s

This is the worst McDonald's in the Dayton area. They are rude, slow, lazy, filthy, and almost never get the order right. This happens when i go there myself or when i door dash. Also they ALWAYS keep my dasher waiting there for at least 20 to 30 minutes. No exaggeration. The dashers tell me they hate that McDonald's as well.

Aggressively rude staff, horrible service, unreliable food. If you can, just never go to this location. I stop by on my way to work each night, around 22:40. 90 percent of the time, I get a minute of silence, and then suddenly "Can I get your order?!" barked at me. Fries are either undercooked or overly so(if they actually remember them, same with their nuggets. Which, don't order the 20 piece nugget. They will EVERYTIME ring you up for two 10 piece instead, costing you an extra $2 or so. (not much, I know, but still). Ice cream machine never seems to be broken, though. So, there's that. EDIT: 10/22/2022 The staff are nicer, so you no longer feel attacked for ordering, but the drive thru wait times are nearly 15-20 minutes sometimes, just to reach the microphone.

24 is a lie come thru the drive at 410 and nothing. So we went to valley that we know is open 24. Change your time if your not going to take orders. Saw a girl standing in the building just playing on her phone. Also get new employees.

I enjoy eating at McDonald's every now and then, but this location will NOT be considered for a repeat visit. After ordering our meal, my husband and I stepped away from the counter to locate a table, and I started to slip on the floor which was extremely wet from being recently mopped. I caught myself with much difficulty & the employees who witnessed my near-slip started laughing at me (quite rude, in my opinion). Once we located a table, we were compelled to clean it ourselves, otherwise eat our meal from a filthy table. I'd even wrongly assumed that if I asked for a rag to clean our table that someone would take the initiative to go clean up all the filthy tables, but, surprisingly not even the manager bat an eye at that one. We received our food and after about 5 minutes of eating, I noticed that the Quarter Pounder my husband was eating was bright pink on the inside! And I'm not talking a slight bit of pink. This burger was 70% RAW! We did request our money back, which they did return, but for only the raw Quarter Pounder. Then, not ten minutes later, we were sitting there as I finished sipping my drink & discussing our displeasure with being served raw food, and a man from the table next to ours gets up, turns to me and says, "You're right, ma'am!" and proceeded to show us HIS RAW BURGER! If I could, I'd give this place zero stars! So, heed my warning. Eat there at your own risk!

I was trying to resolve an issue with an order and the manager was extremely rude. It was a pick up order and someone had picked it up and they said there was nothing they could do. Also another customer they got her order wrong as well while I was there. Order at your own risk. I was just trying to see what they could do to resolve the issue but they resorted to mean comments and being extremely rude when I was the one being wrong and threatened to call the cops for an attempt at picking up an order. Never have I had such a bad experience a restaurant fast food or other wise. The employee was attempting to help but the manager was extremely aggressive and rude. I would advise you to drive elsewhere the negative experience is not worth it

Worst McDonald's I have ever went to. Bathrooms were locked. Probably because it was in the heart of Dayton. However no soap in the bathroom. Plus both hand sanitizer' were completely on EMPTY. I'm pretty sure Ohio State Board of Health would enjoy knowing that your workers are making food for the public! We will not be back.🫣😩

First impression was not great I went to the bathroom and a worker Sofia peed all over the seat and left it everywhere then proceeded to walk straight out the bathroom without washing her hands I then come to find out she was working food production and was touching everything in the back. She FINALLY asked if I was using the mobile app and when I said no she switched over to the other drive thru lane, took his order and then refused to take mine. This place is a joke. I went through and DIDNT EVEN buy anything in the drive through bc they didn’t have their ice cream machine up (SHOCKER!!). But after leaving 5 mins later my card is charged for $24.68. I call and the person who answered didn’t even know what to say just “come back I guess”. So I go back and get the refund. Which won’t show up for god knows how long in my account. So unless you want your money stolen from you don’t go here! And this is the ONLY time I’ve ever left a review!

do not order here, every time I do I have to go through the hassle of getting refunded or replaced fries because they think this is an acceptable amount to include in the large fries. they also didn’t include the toppings on my iced mocha.

Did a Mobile Order for four people. Drove to the restaurant. Waited a while for my food. Drove back to work. Got back to the office to find my bosses chicken nuggets were missing. On August 20th, the same day I placed the order, did a feedback form online. I received an automated response but never received any follow up. Today on August 26 I replied to the email because the issue of paying for and not receiving an item has still not been resolved. I received an automated response saying that case has been closed and if I want to pursue it further, I have to waste more time by calling a number. I’m done with McDonald’s for lunch.

Went all the way downtown to try their special combo that is supposed to have lettuce tomatoes and mayo instead I got a cold sandwich with nothing on it and cold fries and when you tell them they have a attitude about it everything just in the bag don't come at lunchtime when it's changing over nothing ready you be waiting forever on your lunch break they do drive through orders first and leave the inside customers waiting.

I pulled in the drive thru i wated 10 minutes it was just me on both sides then another car pulled up on the other side and we're ask what thy wanted. I was ignored just another reason not to go there

It shouldnt matter how backed up you are, or short staffed. a child would know to alternate lanes when taking in orders. 4 other cars in the same right lane drove off due to not being able to order. It's fast food, not rocket science

Drive thru is not open 12 hours!!!!! From midnight to 4am they’re only serving door dash orders. I get it, a few drive thru orders ON TOP OF a few door dash orders on a week night could overwhelm the night crew. Yall gotta be paying two people more money than you’re making within those hours. lol.

There doesnt seem to be any communication between employees. Waited about 10 minutes for 2 burgers. Then they sent my order out to some car sitting in one of the pickup spots even though I was right at the drive thru window

They don’t know how to answer the phone, I went to order in the drive thru and they took 3 orders ahead of us. After just driving forward too the window to order a few McDoubles they told us too pull back around cause they’re not the only person taking orders.

Served me 2 cold sausage burritos Christmas morning at 855Am on Christmas morning order # 40 tortillas and there wasn't anyone else behind me meaning there was no rush and also overcharged me. And also charged me for water.

Overall poor experience. How does an order get messed up twice? Called the store, nothings being done besides being hung up on. First, food was cold and no socks for the grinch box. Second, nuggets weren’t a 10 piece got a 6 piece and fries were barely in box. Third, no sauce and still 6 piece nugget.

Came in and was immediately greeted by at least 5 signs of "PURCHASE REQUIRED TO USE RESTROOM". Okay, that's tacky. Then, a worker sees me enter and says, "Can I help you?" With an attitude. Um I'm not even at the register to order anything yet. Maybe give me some time to think and walk up to the register. I stood there thinking and opened up the reviews for this place and read someone said there wasn't soap in the bathroom so there is no way employees are washing their hands. I immediately walked out of the establishment. And for the owner to constantly reply to reviews with a link as if that is going to help anyone lol. There needs to be better management going on here. No thanks.

Music is so loud they can’t hear you. Closes earlier than supposed to. Rude as hell. You need to repeat yourself multiple times. Not worth coming needs to clean house.

Came for lunch, was unable to order drive thru sat there for 10 minutes. It wasn’t moving. Came back after two hours wanted to eat inside felt disgusted to order and eat here. Is this normal?

I visited this McDonald's to get my daughter a Happy meal as well as use the bathroom. The bathroom was nasty, no soap or soap dispenser l, no hand sanitizer in no dispensers. I never ordered the food because how are you as a worker even sanitizing and washing your hands. Just disgusting. Never again will I visit this location

Went to the drive thu and order food that was $33.73. And order food and I places my order and had to repeat it 4 times to the lady that took the order. Then when I got to the window I ask her what she have on my double cheese qtr and she was not sure so I told her again 3 times what I wanted on it again. Then went to the other window and they gave me the food check the qtr burger and it was wrong so went to the door one of the worker was walking in let me in and one of the guy that was working there I guess was the mgn he said he said lobby close lobby close like 3 times to me I said I under stand but u guys mess my burger up. And put ketchup on it and did not put cheese on it and it also it a double not a single.had tell them 3 times to So he said I fix it just go out and wait in car look thru bag make sure everything else was good and I was missing my 4 nuggets so went to the window told that that hand me the burger check it then was right then gave my nuggets. Then got home everything I got was not fresh at all I live 4 mins for there. It was cold and nuggets was hot and mc chicken was cold and not tasty good at all large and medium ff was old and cold to then called them and he said bring the food back after I just put half in trash. Will not be back. This is not the only time my food been bad at this mcdonald's. And it a shame. And all I want is my money back or replaces or both all of it. But that not going happen the mgn was rude. This was at 08/23/25 at 8:10pm.

When you eat pancakes you use syrup right? Butter and a fork?!?! Well there was NO condiments whats so ever not even a fork. Do better workers, do better. I think its ridiculous. Not even a damn straw for the orange juice. Do your job right or dont work at all is how i feel

Ordered food at 2:30pm, ended up waiting almost 10 minutes when there were only two cars ahead. After all that, they forgot to put the nuggets in the bag. Couldn’t even go back for them because I was on lunch break. But hey, at least they still put me the sweet and sour sauce in the bag 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lady who took order maybe had a rough day. She was little rude to take orders from customers - at least from what I experienced. The quantity for a happy meal is just overpriced compared to the quantity. My 6y.o son from the back seat saw his bread like that(see the picture) wondered if it expired or something- ended up being tossed. Only 5 cuts of fries on the men. Not sure if the review will change anything but I get you get what you pay for!

IF I could give this location a -5 that still would not be enough for this location. I ordered through Grubhub. I ordered a double bacon quarter pounder meal with a vanilla shake. Doesn't seem to be a hard order right? I received my food. It was not what I ordered. And I didn't get the vanilla shake I ordered for the beverage. This location has always had issues with getting orders right. They should have never rebuilt this location and left it as an empty lot! The management team and the franchise owner need to terminate everyone at this location and start with new staff..I will submit all my future orders to the Smithville location. This location is a joke!
