A must try! Came here with my buddies and we wanted to try a little bit of everything. We started out with the corn cheese on that white cheese on the corn It gives it a nice flavor. Then we shared the Bulgogi fries it’s a must try. And if you like kimchi, I highly recommend the kimchi pasta that sauce they use on it was insane. We shared that plate, but I wish I had more to myself. I got myself the spicy tofu soup, but I wish it was a little bit more spicy and it comes with a side of white rice. Then we shared their wings. We got the honey jam, and the sweet and spicy the wings were my favorite. Restaurant was clean and service was great. Definitely coming back here to try more food items and their beer.

Saw this restaurant online and decided to try it. The bulgogi fried rice was the best of the three and very delicious. The wings were crispy and very tasty. Lastly, the kimchi pasta was interesting for a change, and even though the sauce was very creamy it was the weakest of all three options

I had a random Saturday night craving for Korean chicken wings and this place was the answer to my prayers. Got the sweet and spicy wings and they were everything I dreamed of. So crispy, tender and flaky. They were so savory and spicy enough to challenge me, but not to the point of giving up. I’ll definitely be back.

My roommate heard I was meeting a friend at our favourite Bonchon for lunch and persuaded me to come here instead. When she recommends food, I am never disappointed, and bonus that this is closer to work and home, too! We ordered three flavours to try, and all were fantastic. My favourite was between Saigon and Honey Jam. My friend loved the Sweet and Spicy. The chicken breading was light and crispy, inside hot and juicy, fried to perfection. Loved the cute little menu holders on each table. Welcome to the neighborhood and see you again soon!

My friend and I agree that these wings are way delicious than the chains here in SD! Kimchi spaghetti was also are favorite. Cocktail were on point and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Loved it.

Unbelievably delicious and juicy chicken. Its not overly crunchy to where it cuts your mouth but is instead delicate and consistent. Price is a bit steep but the wings are massive so don’t let it deter you. The classic spicy is amazing when its paired with the beers on tap its pretty much perfect.

The Kimchi pasta is amazing. I would come back over and over again just for that but the chicken is also the best I’ve ever had in SoCal. Not overly oily and batter is perfect. Great service too!!

The food is amazing, perfectly sized portions, and top quality. We tried so many different Korean flavors there 😋 The wings are my go-to after work.

My wife and I went here today around 5 PM. Right now, they seem to close between 2-5 PM. I say “right now” because they are in soft-opening mode. We ordered the Kimchi pasta and my wife loved it. We also ordered their honey jam wings and sweet and spicy wings. Their wings are really flavorful and we could have definitely ate more. I wanted to try their Saigon wings but “happy wife, happy life” kicked into overdrive so I just settled for the honey jam and sweet and spicy. They only have like five wing flavors but I think that’s a good thing. I don’t want to get lost in options. They had bulgogi fries that I want to try next time we go. Yes, we will be back for more sometime soon. The great thing about this place too is that they are right next to the Westfield UTC mall as well. Our server was really nice and sweet too. Only slightly negative thing about the experience was that it took a while for the food to come out, but they seemed understaffed and again, it’s a soft opening. Highly recommend this place if you like wings/Korean style wings. And yes, they have ranch.

First time here and we had the Honey Jam Boneless Chicken - it was excellent. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was interesting and very flavorful! The slaw that came with it was a perfect match for the chicken. We will be back!! I want to try the bulgogi dish!

Great restaurant that currently has the best Korean fried chicken in SD! I’ve been eating Korean fried chicken for years at all the popular spots, but this is my new favorite place! I’d also recommend trying the Kimchi pasta if you’ve never had it before.

My friends and I had an absolute blast here! The food is delicious, fairly priced, and had good sharable portions. We were mainly there for the happy hour drinks, which were equally great as the food. Shoutout to our server, Hannah!~ She brought the best vibes to our table and we loved her so much. 10/10 would recommend and come here again!

I came for a to go order but the interior was definitely a small Cafe vibe which pairs well with the food on offer here. The best Korean fried chicken in the area and a decent price. Large order was on time and piping hot.

Three people ordered a COMBO 1 (suitable for 2-3 people), which included 12 chicken wings and drumsticks (with a choice of 2 flavors) and a portion of tteokbokki. We chose the Rose flavor for the tteokbokki and particularly loved it—it was very flavorful and so delicious! For the chicken wings, I selected HoneyJam and Saigon Style, which were just okay.

Avid Korean fried chicken fans, my Hubby and I decided to check this place out. We came at opening time Saturday, and for our entire dining period there were only 4 tables of people eating—so no need to worry about wait times. Prices are very reasonable. Decor is modern and clean. We got a 12 piece chicken wings half Saigon Style and half HoneyJam. The wings came with sides of pickled radish and cabbage slaw. The cabbage slaw had so much dressing for our liking. Next time we’ll ask for no dressing or on the side. HoneyJam wings - very crispy and good honey flavor. Personally not my favorite honey wings because they are tad too sweet forward. I prefer more balance with salty and garlic flavor. Saigon style wings - our favorite flavor of the 2. It has a nice balance of tangy, salty, with a small spicy kick. I would definitely get these again. Kimchi pasta - this was bomb!!! And so glad we shared this because it is too rich for 1 person— super cheesy, creamy, smoky bacon, and delicious flavor. I highly recommend this. It was the best kimchi pasta I’ve had in SoCal. The 2 servers were soooo kind! I watched them go above and beyond for another customer who asked that they put on a specific sports game on one of their many large TVs. They tried for 10-15 minutes to find the channel for her, in between taking care of all the other customers food orders.

I really, really wanted this place to be great but it's just okay. The atmosphere and service are perfect it's just the foods a bit bland. The chicken itself even if you order spicy just isn't spicy. They only had wings and the wings reminded me of any generic gastropub type wings. Sadly they didn't have boneless wings. The suja options they had were nice. I'd say Calvin's Korean Chicken is still the best in the area by a LARGE margin. I'd come back if they added an actually spicy option.

The flavors are nothing crazy, it's serviceable. The spiciest option wasn't very spicy, but that's to be expected from a place called honeyjam, I guess. Staff were really nice, but it was a little slow, but it is their first day, so I wouldn't hold it against them.

Friendly staff, food was disappointing. I've never met a Korean fried chicken I didn't like, but I was surprised to find this meal lacking. It looked great, but the taste was weird and even the pickled radishes tasted off. I don't know if the ingredients were all old? Despite paying $18 after tax and tip for a 6 piece, I will not be finishing it.

I eat here a few times a week because I love the boneless chicken wings and the Bulgogi fried rice. Tonight, I ordered my usual, but there was no meat in the Bulgogi fried rice. Such a bummer, and the boneless wings were all fried batter with very very little chicken. I’m not sure what happened here, but they’ve taken a huge nose dive in terms of the quality of the food. The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating, but the problem is in the kitchen, I guess. Anyway, they’ve lost my business. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! There will not be a shame on me moment. No meat in my bulgogi fried rice dish! Where’s the BEEF (bulgogi)! 🤬
