I’ve been a Capital One client for many years and one thing I didn’t like was that we didn’t have a physical location nearby. It’s reassuring that we now have a physical location right here in San Diego, located in great outdoor mall of UTC Westfield. The space has nice layout, friendly staff, and ample space. There are ATM in the back room where you can make a cash payment on Capital One credit card account and the funds are available within minutes. Another perk is the 50% off discount on Peet's coffee drinks and other promotional specials when available. 4.6/5 ⭐️

Went early at 10 am just when they open, was greeted nicely, paid my credit card, made a deposit to my account at the ATM machine and had some breakfast. The place looks nice and clean. I see some people complaining and giving bad reviews for petty stuff…just do what you gotta do and move on 😂

I've been here a few times and the friendly service of the ambassadors never fail. I haven't had the need to really go into detail of any services, but they're willing to answer any questions. It's a great place to sit down, relax and if needed, study or work. The cafe also offers 50% off drinks if you use a Capital One card. A great deal!

The service was another highlight of my visit. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the different coffee options and even making recommendations based on my preferences. Even though I didn’t have my physical Capital One card on me, I was relieved to find that I could use my digital wallet for payment. It was a seamless transaction, which made my experience even better. Overall, my visit to Verve at Capital One Coffee Roasters was a fantastic one. Great coffee, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere make it a must-visit spot in the mall. I can’t wait to return and try more of their offerings. I am a Capital One customer but never tried their coffee. My son always go to this Cafe' when we visit La Jolla. So yesterday, Valentine's Day we tried it. It was better than Starbucks and cheaper as a Capital One customer I got a 50% discount. The server who took our order was Jessica. There were only two of them and the place was packed. She did a great job. Fast and friendly service too.

Sedalia, Nicole, Olga and Jake. I walked in and was shocked. I actually got lost in the mall and Sedalia literally came out the store and came and found me. They have been more than helpful all of them. This experience has been nothing but incredible. When at first I was totally overwhelmed. I’m so pleased and happy I had the pleasure to meet the team. Come in and enjoy.

We had a banking issue & popped into this Capitol One Cafe. Even though they were not able to get our issue taken care of. Chris went above & beyond to assist us in getting someone on the phone who could assist us. He even threw in a latte. Chris provided amazing customer service & went above & beyond to help us.

I tried one of this coffee, it was good, but nothing fancy about it. The only downside to this cafe is the limited free parking and there’s no bathroom in the cafe. Amazing sitting area to chill in between the hustle bustle of utc mall..food is okay and amazing pocket saver if you got a capital one card! We tried coffee(was fine) but the flatbread was chewy..got my 🦷 tested for real😂

I the breakfast sandwich, which was good, and ok, but it's very disappointing when u have a tiny sausage on the sandwich. The service it's ok, but except for the girl, she's so welcoming. So please have a sausage that is the same size as the bun. It's not fair that I pay 9.50 for a small sandwich, with only half sausage.

Nitro cold brew was ultra sour, which likely means it’s under-extracted. 2 packets of sweetener couldn’t mask the sourness. There was nothing nitro about it either. Flat. No nitrogen bubbles. Must be old batch or maybe they don’t sell enough of it to get sour. $6 wasted. Not a real coffee shop so my bad going here rather than the other options at the mall.

When reviewing the cards I am pre-approved to upgrade, I see that I am only pre-approved to upgrade my Savor to Quicksilver—but not my Quicksilver One to Quicksilver. This makes no logical sense to me. My assumption, which I am unfortunately probably correct about, is that Capital One knows Quicksilver One is many people's first card. Since closing the account would impact their credit score more, Capital One likely avoids offering upgrades for it or deliberately holds out on them to force customers to keep paying the annual fee. I have called the customer support line before, and it is clear to me that the representatives are cheap hires who can only provide information that is already available through the app. This is disappointing because I would like to speak to someone who can actually listen to my situation, understand how ridiculous it is, and bypass the automated approval process. After my experience with mobile support, I went to a Capital One Café in hopes of speaking to someone with real authority. Instead, I spoke to an ambassador who, while nice and friendly, had even less authority than the mobile reps. The ambassador essentially offered to call the mobile support line with me, which resulted in the exact same phone call I would have had if I had called on my own. The only difference was that the ambassador was there to listen to the ridiculous situation I was in and witness Capital One’s money-grabbing tactics. At the end of the day, I came to the conclusion that Capital One is a large corporation that has automated a system that prioritizes money over customer satisfaction. I closed my Quicksilver One card (which the ambassador couldn't help me with either) and plan to eventually close my Savor card as well. I will never bank with Capital One again.
